The phenomenon of emotional healing has become increasingly prominent in popular culture as the younger generation experiences increasing loss, emotional exhaustion, and numbness. Popular music serves as a medium of expression, representing these emotional dynamics through poetic language and symbolic structures. This study aims to analyze the emotional representation of healing in Umay Shahab's song "Perayaan Mati Rasa" using Roland Barthes's semiotic approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, analyzing three layers of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth, through breaking down the lyrics into several lexicons and reading signs. The results show that (1) denotatively, the lyrics construct an emotional arc from inner tension to self-contemplation; (2) connotatively, the use of diction and imagery represents vulnerability, resilience, and emotional reflection; and (3) at the mythical level, the song constructs release as a form of emotional maturity and loss as a process of identity formation. Thus, this song functions as a cultural representation in interpreting the process of emotional healing in popular culture.

This research deconstructs the manipulative architecture in the propaganda trilogy of the Japanese Army in 1942, namely Nippon Tjahaja Asia, Nippon Pelindoeng Asia, and Nippon Leader Asia, which have often been reduced to mere political euphemisms. With a descriptive-qualitative design, this study integrates Malcolm Coulthard and Alison Johnson's parameter-based Forensic Linguistics as the grand theory, as well as the three-dimensional model of Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) as an operational analysis instrument. The results of the analysis show that lexical manipulation through the messianic triptych "Light, Protector, Leader" and the use of assertive clauses without copula are engineered to produce false consciousness. Forensic Linguistic Parameters confirm the existence of a planned mens rea (malicious intent) from Sendenbu, with an extreme disparity between commissive speech in the form of a promise of protection and military actus reus in the form of romusha slavery and logistical seizure. This condition fulfills the elements of mass deception. Furthermore, the doctrinal repetition of the slogan is a form of linguistic coercion that exploits power asymmetry to castrate the people's critical reasoning. In conclusion, the invasion of Japanese fascism in Indonesia did not only take place through military equations, but also through a cognitive dictatorship based on language fabrication. This study is relevant as a historical mirror for detecting the anatomy of structural lies in the contemporary post-truth era.

The diversity of Indonesian society, spread across various regions of the archipelago, reflects immense natural and cultural wealth. However, this cultural diversity also has the potential to trigger national disintegration or division due to differences in perspectives, values, and ways of life. This situation indicates that Indonesian society needs to develop an educational system capable of fostering an appreciative attitude toward cultural, religious, and customary differences among ethnic groups. This reality compels Christian Education to assume a strategic role in strengthening existing diversity. This study aims to examine transformative approaches within Christian Education for fostering harmony amidst Indonesia’s diversity. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, particularly focusing on the approaches and implementation of Christian Education within pluralistic societies. The results of the study indicate that the presence of Christian education can make a significant contribution to building a harmonious, diverse society by instilling Christian values such as respect for different lifestyles, rejection of violence and discrimination, and the strengthening of a spirit of unity. Thus, Christian education is expected to serve as an effective means of fostering harmony amidst the diversity of Indonesian society.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the residential spatial system of the Marori and Mengge ethnic groups in Wasur Village, Merauke, South Papua, in the context of their involvement in the eucalyptus oil industry as a leading tourism product of Wasur National Park. A rationalistic qualitative approach is used with the main theory of behavioral setting to examine the relationship between behavior, local culture, and spatial structure. The results of the study indicate that houses not only function as domestic spaces, but also as places for the production of eucalyptus oil, especially at the packaging stage. The overlapping use of space causes space invasion, changes in function, and the emergence of high spatial flexibility. The space of the house undergoes a temporal functional transformation, adjusting to the intensity of economic activities and cultural rituals of the community. Private, semi-public, and spiritual spaces experience shifting boundaries, which have an impact on social relationship patterns and living comfort. This study also found that social structure, customary values (Boan/marga), and division of customary areas play an important role in the formation of the spatial system. These findings are expected to be an important contribution to the development of residential architecture based on behavior and local wisdom, as well as community-based conservation area management. This study also highlights the urgency of preserving the culture and existence of indigenous tribes amidst the current of modernization and the threat of extinction.

A building feasibility evaluation study is an important step to ensure the safety, comfort, and sustainability of building functions, especially in public service facilities. This activity was carried out at the PLN ULP Praya office building, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, which has been operating since 1985. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of building feasibility based on structural, architectural, utility, safety, and health aspects of the building. The methods used included visual inspection, field measurements, hammer tests, and analysis of the condition of building elements based on building feasibility inspection standards. The inspection results showed that the building suffered severe damage characterized by foundation subsidence, large cracks in the walls, reinforcement corrosion, concrete peeling, and damage to the roof frame. The structural strength value obtained was below the construction feasibility standard so that the building was declared structurally unfit for function. Although several supporting aspects such as lighting, drainage, and sanitation systems still functioned quite well, the damaged condition of the main structure has the potential to endanger the safety of users. Therefore, rebuilding the building structure is recommended as the safest solution to ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of the building's function in the future.

Tiku Beach in Tanjung Mutiara District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra is a 12.77 km coastal area experiencing continuous shoreline changes due to abrasion and accretion. This study aims to identify and map shoreline changes and calculate the area of abrasion and accretion in 2014, 2019, and 2024 using the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI) method based on Landsat 8 OLI satellite imagery. The MNDWI method utilizes the reflectance difference in the Green band (Band 3) and SWIR band (Band 6) to automatically separate the land-water boundary. Shoreline change analysis was performed using Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) and End Point Rate (EPR) methods through ArcGIS 10.8 software with the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) extension. Analysis of 336 transects shows that accretion is more dominant than abrasion along Tiku Beach. The largest accretion was recorded at transect 230 with an NSM value of 71.3 m and an EPR rate of 7.12 m/year, while extreme abrasion occurred at transect 249 with an NSM value of -121.67 m and an EPR rate of -12.15 m/year. The evolution of the shoreline shows that in 2014 the coastline was still relatively stable, then in 2019 mild abrasion occurred in the west along with accretion in the east, and by 2024 this pattern became more pronounced. The results of this study are expected to serve as a scientific basis for decision-making in coastal disaster mitigation planning and sustainable coastal management in Agam Regency.

Stock market volatility represents a key indicator of financial market uncertainty, particularly in emerging economies where market structures are still evolving and are highly sensitive to global shocks. This study aims to analyze and compare the volatility dynamics of stock markets in four Asian emerging economies: Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Thailand. The research employs a quantitative approach using daily stock index data from January 2011 to January 2026 obtained from Yahoo Finance. Stock returns are calculated using logarithmic transformation and analyzed using the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH(1,1)) model. Prior to model estimation, stationarity and ARCH effect tests are conducted to ensure the validity of volatility modeling. The empirical findings indicate that all return series exhibit non-normal distribution, strong volatility clustering, and significant ARCH effects. The estimation results show that both ARCH and GARCH parameters are statistically significant, with persistence levels close to unity across all markets, implying that volatility shocks tend to persist over a long period. These findings suggest that emerging stock markets in Asia are highly sensitive to external shocks and exhibit long-memory volatility behavior. The results provide important implications for investors and policymakers in designing effective risk management and market stabilization strategies.

This study analyzes how Abuela Alma Madrigal's behaviors toward her family in Disney's Encanto (2021) are influenced by Jungian archetypes. The psychological analysis of matriarchal characters in animated films has received little attention, despite the widespread usage of Jungian theory in film analysis. The aim of this study is to identify the Jungian archetypes that Abuela embodies and analyze how they influence her relationships with the Madrigal family. Data was gathered by repeatedly watching the movie using a qualitative, descriptive approach. Jung's archetypal theory (1959) served as the main framework for the analysis of a selection of dialogues that were transcribed and classified based on specific archetypes. The results show that Abuela's behavior is greatly influenced by five archetypes. She is motivated by the persona archetype to maintain a public persona of magical perfection, valuing each family member according to how they contribute to this image. The trauma of losing her husband Pedro is the source of the Shadow archetype, which takes the form of denial and blame projection until Mirabel confronts it. The Great Mother archetype illustrates how her parental love turned into conditional acceptance and overprotection. The Wise Old Woman archetype highlights the difference between her appearance of authority and the personal doubt she carries. Finally, the Self archetype signifies her psychological transformation as she completely accepts the value of each family member and integrates her suppressed fears, completing Jung's individuation process. These results validate that Jungian theory provides a useful framework for analyzing matriarchal characters in animated films and show how universal psychological patterns associated with trauma, authority, and family dynamics can be meaningfully reflected in modern animated films.

Green transportation policy has increasingly been regarded as a cornerstone of urban mobility reform worldwide, yet its explicit orientation toward cyclist safety remains insufficiently developed. This paper examines how sustainable transportation management policies can be normatively designed to advance cyclist safety as a primary policy objective, not a secondary concern. Drawing on a qualitative literature review, the study explores the structural relationship between green transportation frameworks and the protection of cyclists within urban road systems. The discussion covers key policy dimensions including physical infrastructure standards, speed regulation, legal frameworks, public education, technological support systems, and inter-agency coordination. The study argues that a coherent policy architecture is essential for ensuring that the promotion of cycling as a low-emission mode is accompanied by robust safety provisions. Without this coherence, green transportation policy risks generating a structural contradiction between its environmental aspirations and its duty of care toward vulnerable road users. The findings affirm that cyclist safety and environmental sustainability are mutually reinforcing values that must be embedded together within any credible urban transportation governance framework.

Dengue remains a major vector-borne disease worldwide, and the increasing resistance of Aedes aegypti to synthetic insecticides has encouraged the exploration of environmentally friendly botanical larvicides. This study aimed to systematically evaluate scientific evidence regarding the larvicidal potential of endemic Kalimantan plants against Aedes aegypti and to identify priority candidates for future research. A systematic literature review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature searches were performed across Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Web of Science, MDPI, Wiley Online Library, Garuda, SINTA, and Google Scholar for studies published between January 2016 and January 2026. A total of 925 records were identified, and after duplicate removal, screening, and eligibility assessment, 88 studies were included in the final synthesis. The results showed that botanical larvicides rich in alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, phenolics, limonoids, and sulfur compounds demonstrated significant larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti. However, no direct larvicidal studies were identified for endemic Kalimantan species, including Fibraurea tinctoria, Arcangelisia flava, Dacrydium beccarii, Agathis borneensis, and Scorodocarpus borneensis. These findings highlight substantial evidence gaps and indicate that Kalimantan biodiversity represents a promising source of novel larvicidal agents for sustainable dengue vector control.

The adoption of holocratic leadership systems has become a crucial strategy for startups navigating market volatility, which demands organizational agility through the elimination of traditional hierarchies. This study aims to analyze the transformation of the Human Resource (HR) department's role within holocratic systems and its impact on HR efficiency in startup environments. Employing an integrative literature review approach, this research synthesizes various findings from reputable global and national journals published within the last five years to map the shifts in managerial functions. The results indicate that in structures devoid of conventional managers, the HR role transforms from a controlling authority into a system architect and governance facilitator that maintains compliance with the organizational constitution. HR efficiency is achieved through clear authority distribution within dynamic roles, transparent peer-to-peer feedback mechanisms, and the removal of slow bureaucratic coordination costs. The contribution of this research lies in the formulation of the "HR-as-a-Platform" conceptual model, which shifts the focus of management practices from personal supervision to systemic infrastructure optimization. The practical implications provide a guide for startup founders to re-engineer HR functions to support individual autonomy without sacrificing operational stability. This study confirms that the success of non-hierarchical organizations relies heavily on the integration of radical autonomy and robust digital protocols facilitated by the newly defined HR function.

The proliferation of online gambling promotional comments on Indonesian social media has become a serious issue requiring fast and accurate automated handling. This study aims to implement a Hybrid Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method to classify online gambling comments and compare its performance with standalone RNN and LSTM models. The research utilized a dataset of 10,230 comments subjected to comprehensive preprocessing stages, including the normalization of non-standard language using a slang dictionary. Testing was conducted across three data-splitting scenarios: 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30. Experimental results demonstrate that the standalone LSTM model achieved the highest average accuracy of 97.45%. However, the Hybrid RNN–LSTM model showed significant superiority in terms of performance stability, yielding the lowest standard deviation (0.0027) and the smallest Coefficient of Variation (0.28%) across all scenarios. These findings indicate that while the LSTM architecture is highly effective at capturing short-text context, the Hybrid approach provides better robustness against fluctuations in data proportions, making it highly relevant for implementation as an automated detection system on social media.

The architecture of consumer decision-making has completely changed due to the quick development of recommendation systems based on artificial intelligence (AI). The majority of earlier studies saw algorithms as instruments for forecasting and maximizing preexisting preferences. This study, however, makes a different claim: algorithmic curation actively shapes preferences rather than just reflecting them. This study creates and evaluates a structural model that examines the impact of algorithmic curation intensity on perceived search autonomy, identity resonance, affective evaluation, and the development of initial preferences. The model is based on identity-based consumption theory and the literature on human-AI interaction. The study's findings, which are based on survey data from Generation Z consumers and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, demonstrate a contradictory dynamic: algorithmic curation improves identity resonance and directly influences initial preferences while simultaneously decreasing feelings of autonomy. The primary mediating mechanism that links algorithmic exposure to emotional assessment and preference creation is identified as identity resonance. In addition to introducing the concept of algorithmic consumer formation as a new conceptual framework for comprehending consumer behavior in the AI-based digital era, our findings expand the notion of bounded rationality toward algorithmically bounded agency.
