This journal discusses guidance and counseling service models as well as BK support activities to improve the quality of education. This research aims to build an integrated Guidance and Counseling (BK) service model, which combines mediation, consultation and advocacy methods, supported by additional BK activities to improve the quality of education in schools. So far, BK services have largely focused on individual approaches without any integration of strategic functions that can strengthen the entire education ecosystem. The model created in this study is aimed at strengthening the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling student dynamics and building collaboration with the school, parents and the community. The research methodology uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach which includes needs analysis steps, model design, validation by experts, and limited trials in a secondary school environment. Research findings show that this integrated guidance and counseling service model is feasible to implement and effective in increasing the involvement of all parties in solving student problems and creating a school atmosphere that is more supportive of improving the quality of learning. The impact of this model opens up opportunities to increase the strategic role of guidance and counseling services in the education system as a whole.

Generation Alpha refers to children born after 2010, who are growing up in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. In the Indonesian context, the emergence of depressive disorders among this generation poses a critical mental health challenge that has not been thoroughly addressed. This study aims to analyze the prevalence of depressive symptoms in Generation Alpha, identify the major risk factors, and evaluate current and potential preventive strategies through a narrative literature review approach. Data were collected from national and international journals using platforms such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Garuda, with inclusion criteria covering articles published between 2019 and 2024 and relevant to children’s mental health. Findings reveal a significant increase in depressive symptoms among children aged 5 to 13 years. Key risk factors include non-democratic parenting styles, academic stress, bullying in school environments, and excessive use of digital gadgets. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning have exacerbated children’s mental health, particularly among those from low-income families or with limited access to psychological support. On the other hand, preventive strategies involving holistic approaches such as school-based mental health education, play therapy, digital mental health interventions, and Islamic spirituality-based approaches have demonstrated considerable potential in mitigating depressive symptoms. This review highlights the urgency of implementing multi-level and context-sensitive prevention strategies through collaboration between schools, families, and community-based institutions.

Milkfish farming in coastal ponds of Ujung Watu Village, Jepara, is highly influenced by the stability of water salinity levels. Significant fluctuations in salinity can interfere with the growth and health of fish, so an adaptive control system is needed. Research methods include field data collection, hardware and software design, and system testing in an active pond for 14 days (23-hour sampling), where data is extracted for 23 hours. The system uses a salinity sensor to detect water conditions, PLC to automatically control the brackish water pump, while wireless remote control uses IoT, in addition to controliing, IoT to send data to the Android-based monitoring platform. The test results show that this machine is able to maintain salinity levels within the optimal range of 10000-30000 ppm, and provide remote monitoring convenience to pond farmers. The monitoring system serves as a predictive for manual wireless control of electric pumps (IoT), while automatic control is controlled by PLC.

The welding process is a crucial element in the fabrication and manufacturing industries, serving to join two or more components into a single unit. The quality of the weld is very important, but defects such as undercut, underfill, and spatter are often still found. This study aims to analyse welding defects caused by voltage variations and differences in welding wire on T-joint fillet welds using the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) method on 8 mm thick plates. The voltage variations used were 20.6 V, 23.7 V, and 27.9 V, with welding wires EN ISO 14341-A: G 42 4 M21 3Sil and EN ISO 14341-A: G 46 4 M21 Z 3Ni1Cu. The research method used visual inspection and penetrant testing to identify types of welding defects. The research results showed four types of welding defects from visual inspection: spatter, undercut, weld deposit thickness, and excessive throat thickness, and two from penetrant testing: undercut and end creater pipe. Based on the two tests conducted in this study, it can be concluded that the optimal welding results were achieved at a voltage variation of 23.7 V using the EN ISO 14341-A: G 46 4 M21 Z 3Ni1Cu, as it had the fewest welding defects. The worst welding results were obtained at a voltage variation of 20.6 V using both types of welding wire, as this welding process resulted in numerous welding defects in both visual and penetrant testing. This study provides insights that proper welding parameter settings significantly influence the quality of the welded joint.

This study aims to present a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of Intellectual Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Spiritual Quotient (SQ) in an academic context, particularly focusing on the role of lecturers. Using bibliometric methods. The data for this study came from 300 English-language scientific articles published in 2023 from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The analysis was carried out using keyword co-occurrence techniques, overlay visualization, density visualization, and author collaboration networks. The findings show that there is a strong focus on developing conceptual frameworks and reviewing literature related to IQ, EQ, and SQ, indicating an effort to understand the integration of these three intelligences as the foundation for human resource development in higher education. However, several keywords were also found to be thematically irrelevant, suggesting challenges in data filtering or uniqueness of terminology between disciplines. Sleep disturbances in infants can cause significant physiological and psychological impacts, such as decreased immune function, impaired cognitive development, and an increased risk of emotional problems (Tanty & Pramesti, 2023). Poor sleep not only inhibits physical growth but also affects infants’ mental development, including attention disorders, anxiety, and low cognitive abilities (Hendri & Sari, 2021). Therefore, it is important to provide effective interventions to improve infants’ sleep quality. This study aimed to determine the effect of baby massage on infant sleep quality at BPM Aida Nospita, Manunggal Village, Labuhan Deli Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, in 2025. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest design using an experimental group and a control group, also known as a pretest–posttest with control group design, which is a form of quasi-experimental research design. The population of this study consisted of all infants aged 3–6 months at BPM Aida Nospita, Manunggal Village, Labuhan Deli Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, totaling 32 infants, with 16 infants in the experimental group and 16 infants in the control group. The results of the statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a significant probability value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). This indicates that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted, meaning that baby massage had a significant effect on sleep quality among infants at BPM Aida Nospita, Manunggal Village, Labuhan Deli Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, in 2025.
