Bekasam is a traditional fermented fish-based food popular in various regions in Indonesia, including Batanghari, Jambi. This product is produced through a spontaneous fermentation process that utilizes the activity of microorganisms, particularly lactic acid bacteria (LAB), which play an important role in the formation of distinctive flavors, food safety, and potential health benefits. One type of fish used is lambak fish (Labiobarbus ocellatus), which is commonly found in local waters. Given the high prevalence of cardiovascular disease associated with cholesterol levels, exploring the probiotic potential of local fermented foods presents a strategic opportunity to support public health. This study aims to isolate and identify LAB from bekasam lambak fish from Mersam, Batanghari, and evaluate its initial potential as a candidate for cholesterol-lowering probiotics. The research method was carried out in the laboratory through a series of dilutions (10⁻¹–10⁻⁶) of bekasam samples, followed by cultivation on Nutrient Agar (NA) media using the pour and streak method. Incubation was carried out at 37°C for 24–48 hours. The growing colonies were then observed morphologically and tested using Gram staining. Observations revealed spherical, milky-white colonies with Gram-positive rod-shaped characteristics, indicating they likely belonged to the Lactobacillus genus. This genus is known to lower cholesterol through bile acid binding and free cholesterol assimilation mechanisms in the digestive tract. These findings reinforce the notion that bekasam lambak fish contains local LAB isolates that have the potential to be developed as a natural probiotic raw material. This potential can be utilized in the development of functional fermented food products or nutraceuticals that not only maintain the traditional value of bekasam but also provide preventative health benefits, particularly in controlling cholesterol levels.

This article discusses the dynamics of Islamic education during the Sultanate of Banten, an Islamic kingdom that developed since the 16th century and became one of the centers of Islamic civilization in the archipelago. Islamic education in Banten not only shapes the Islamic identity of the community, but also strengthens morality, social solidarity, and cultural resilience. Islamic boarding schools are the main pillars of education that integrate the teaching of religious science, character education, and socio-religious practices. The role of pesantren expands, not only as a learning center, but also as a da'wah institution that instills the values of independence, justice, and brotherhood in the midst of a multicultural society. Great scholars such as Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani and Sheikh Yusuf al-Makassari have an important role in strengthening the scientific network between Banten, the Middle East, and the Islamic world. Their profound works in the fields of jurisprudence, Sufism, and morals had a great influence on the development of Islamic thought in Southeast Asia. The pesantren curriculum that focuses on the yellow book, with the teaching methods of sorogan, bandongan, and wetonan, produces students who are not only knowledgeable, but also disciplined, moral, and sensitive to social problems. The Dutch colonial period brought severe challenges with secular policies and restrictions on Islamic education. However, pesantren still exist as spiritual and intellectual fortresses. This success is supported by the ability of pesantren to develop economic independence and expand scientific networks through the overseas migration of students to various Islamic study centers abroad. Until now, Banten's Islamic education heritage has transformed into a modern Islamic boarding school that is able to combine classical traditions with technology and global insights. This study confirms that traditional Islamic education in Banten has a strategic role in shaping the social, spiritual, and identity structure of the Muslim community, which persists across generations.

Photogrammetry is a technique for measuring and modeling three-dimensional objects by utilizing digital imagery from various perspectives. In the context of reverse engineering, this technique serves to duplicate, reconstruct, and analyze the dimensions of physical objects with a high degree of accuracy. The main advantage of photogrammetry lies in its ability to capture the details of the shape and texture of objects without the need for physical contact. However, the quality of photogrammetry scan results is greatly influenced by a number of technical factors, especially lighting and camera sensor sensitivity (ISO) settings. Variations in these two parameters can cause deviations or dimensional deviations in the resulting 3D model. This study aims to quantitatively evaluate the influence of lighting intensity and camera ISO setting on dimensional deviation in photogrammetry scan results. The research method used is experimental, where the dimensions of the scanned object are compared to the original dimensions using precision measuring instruments. The results showed that both the lighting level and the ISO setting had a significant influence on the accuracy level of the 3D model. The ideal lighting intensity range was found to be in the range of 125–150 lux, where shadows and light reflections could be minimized. Meanwhile, the use of low ISO (around 200) is able to produce cleaner image textures and minimize noise, resulting in smaller dimensional deviations. Additionally, the interaction between moderate lighting and low ISO is proven to provide the best scanning accuracy. This combination is able to maintain a balance between image quality and surface detail of the object. These findings not only provide practical recommendations regarding the regulation of scanning conditions, but can also serve as a guideline for industry practitioners and academics in improving the quality of reverse engineering results. With a proper understanding of lighting and ISO variables, the photogrammetry process can be optimized to produce more accurate and efficient 3D models.

This research aimed to examine how financial literacy and the use of digital payment systems impact students' financial behavior in the Tasikmalaya area. Although digital wallets are widely used for transactions, many students do not realize that this ease of access can shape their financial habits. Often, e-wallets are seen purely as convenient tools, without acknowledging their influence on spending patterns and money management. A quantitative method was employed, with data gathered via questionnaires distributed to 140 student respondents. The findings show that financial literacy significantly affects financial behavior on its own, while e-wallet usage does not have a notable individual impact. Nevertheless, when both variables are analyzed simultaneously, they significantly influence financial behavior. These outcomes are consistent with the Theory of Planned Behavior, which explains that personal attitudes, control over behavior, and habits collectively contribute to financial decisions.Based on these results, the study suggests that improving financial literacy is crucial so that students can make more informed decisions and manage their finances wisely when using digital wallets.

This study examines the Earnings Response Coefficient (ERC) as an indicator of market reaction to earnings announcements, focusing on several determining factors: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), financial distress, corporate growth, firm size, and earnings persistence. The primary issue addressed is the inconsistency of previous empirical findings regarding the influence of these factors on ERC, which motivates this study to reassess these relationships through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR method was employed to systematically collect, analyze, and synthesize evidence from prior studies to obtain a more comprehensive understanding. The findings reveal that CSR and earnings persistence produce mixed results—some studies show positive, negative, or insignificant effects on ERC—reflecting contextual differences and variations in investor perceptions. Meanwhile, financial distress and firm size generally have a significant positive impact on ERC, suggesting that larger firms and those perceived as financially stable are more likely to receive stronger market reactions. Corporate growth, on the other hand, mostly shows no significant effect. The synthesis highlights that the relationship between these factors and ERC is context-dependent, influenced by company characteristics and the level of information transparency provided to investors. This study concludes by emphasizing the need for a more integrative and contextual approach in analyzing the determinants of ERC and recommends further research to deepen understanding of how market responses to earnings information are shaped by these factors.
