This study explores the potential of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) as a bioelectricity source through Plant-Microbial Fuel Cell (PMFC) technology. The research aimed to evaluate the ability of water hyacinth to generate stable electrical energy when integrated with electrodes in a controlled laboratory setting. The method applied was an experimental laboratory design, where water hyacinths were placed in containers filled with water, equipped with anode and cathode electrodes, and connected to a voltmeter and ammeter for continuous monitoring. Observations were carried out for 72 hours with periodic recording of voltage and current values. The findings show that water hyacinth can generate measurable electricity, with voltage ranging from 0.25 V to 0.32 V and current between 0.18 mA and 0.24 mA, indicating the potential of this plant to produce renewable energy. Moreover, the results reveal that the generated electricity was relatively stable during the observation period, though variations occurred due to environmental conditions. The implications of this research suggest that water hyacinth, often considered a weed, can be utilized not only for energy production but also as part of ecological management programs. This dual function makes PMFC technology a promising alternative for sustainable energy development, especially in rural or remote areas where access to conventional electricity remains limited.

The focus of this study is the transformation of English and Mathematics education at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Takengon. Higher education at IAIN Takengon faces challenges in increasing student interest, especially in English and Mathematics study programs. Students believe that mathematics and English skills are not important for career success. This is a common problem in many universities in Indonesia. By focusing on the analysis of high school needs, this study attempts to address the problem. The results of the analysis indicate that IAIN Takengon programs can be tailored to meet the specific needs of English and Mathematics students. As part of the solution, IAIN Takengon students engage directly with high school students and gain hands-on experience in mentoring and teaching. To determine the needs of high schools, an analysis of the study program curriculum, interviews with teachers and students, and observations were conducted. The results of the study indicate that the English and Mathematics curriculum needs to be improved specifically, and the program should be more related to students' real lives. Case studies and qualitative methods are considered effective in collecting contextual data and providing in-depth insights into the state of education at IAIN Takengon. Other practical recommendations include curriculum adjustments, creating learning materials that are more in line with industry needs, and training teachers to implement innovative teaching methods.

The low awareness and motivation of students (santri) at the Miftahul Huda Islamic boarding school to pursue higher education abroad is a primary issue, stemming from a lack of English proficiency, limited information, and conventional teaching methods. This Community Service (PkM) program aimed to enhance the santri's English language skills and motivation for further studies. The method involved three stages: preparation through surveys and interviews; implementation of a motivation seminar and interactive English training covering reading, listening, speaking, and writing; and evaluation using pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The program's content focused on addressing the key challenges faced by the santri, including language barriers and the lack of exposure to scholarship opportunities. The results demonstrated the program's significant effectiveness. There was an average 40% increase in English proficiency scores, with participants showing improved communication skills across all four language areas. Additionally, students' motivation to study abroad increased from 30% to 85%. This program successfully fostered the santri's interest in higher education opportunities abroad and built their self-confidence, evidenced by the formation of a proactive discussion group seeking scholarship information and further academic guidance.

The government is required to always be able to prosper the community it leads, but most people still lack participation in every government program or policy issued. As mentioned in Law Number 24 of 2013 concerning Population Administration, population documents are official documents issued by Implementing Agencies that have legal force as authentic evidence resulting from population registration and civil registration services. This study uses an empirical juridical method seen from norms or das sollen and an empirical approach, namely law as a social and cultural reality by taking primary data from the field in analyzing existing problems. Based on the results of research and discussion, it was found that the government in this case is still making efforts to pick up the ball in collaboration with traditional leaders and religious offices to socialize the importance of taking care of marriage certificates and collect data on couples who hold marriages in Kupang Regency and are required to issue marriage certificates after receiving marriage reports from the authorities

Currently, one concrete manifestation of community participation in nation building is by paying taxes.  Tax contributions in recent years have become increasingly significant and can be taken into account as the backbone of national financing sources in order to make national development programs a success that will increase economic growth. The number of taxpayers is also increasing from time to time as a reflection of increasing taxpayer awareness and compliance. MSMEs in Simokerto District, Surabaya, as part of the Taxpayers, we will accompany in realizing compliance as Taxpayers in the hope of knowing the latest regulations and calculation methods for withholding PPh Article 21 in the previous provisions, which have high complexity and calculation schemes that vary greatly. PPh Article 21 tax on individuals is very comparable to other withholding tax systems (for example: Final Income Tax, PPh Article 23), making it difficult for Taxpayers to fulfill their PPh Article 21 obligations. Government Regulation Number 58 of 2023 concerning Tax Withholding and Imposition Rates has been stipulated. Pesantren, as the oldest Islamic educational institutions, face complex challenges in environmental health management, primarily due to high residential density, limited sanitation infrastructure, and varying practices of Healthy and Clean Living Behaviors (PHBS). Although the religious concept of taharah (purity) serves as a foundation for cleanliness, there is a lack of in-depth research examining the integration of religious values, infrastructure conditions, and management systems in shaping the daily hygiene experiences of santri (students). This study aims to explore the santri's experience regarding environmental health management in pesantren, focusing on the integration of hygiene, sanitation, and Islamic religious values, while also identifying factors and challenges related to PHBS practices. This qualitative research, utilizing a descriptive phenomenology design, collected data through in-depth interviews with three female santri informants (with 8–9 years of boarding experience). Data analysis was conducted using the six-phase thematic analysis method by Braun & Clarke (2006).The study identified five main themes: (1) Infrastructure is quantitatively adequate but faces operational issues (queues, seasonal clean water scarcity); (2) PHBS practices show positive behavioral changes (self-reliance) but waste management remains traditional; (3) The religious value of taharah acts as a strong intrinsic motivation; (4) The management system involves multi-level roles (kiai-ustaz-administrators) that face consistency challenges; and (5) Main obstacles include limited facilities, varying levels of santri awareness, and disparity in educational programs. Poskestren (Pesantren Health Post) represents an institutional effort to provide basic health services.Environmental health management in pesantren requires a holistic approach, integrating infrastructure improvement and sustainable waste management systems, alongside developing education that unites Islamic religious values with modern health knowledge. Optimizing the religious strategy and strengthening national monitoring/standardization systems are key to program sustainability.
