To achieve excellent service, a company’s employees must possess certain qualities, such as a passion for work and an attitude of always being ready to assist as well as having the capacity to handle customer complaints professionally. Service to service users at Yogyakarta International Airport, both at the departure terminal and arrival terminals, is critical for passengers. One of these is transit and transfer services for passengers. The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of Transit and Transfer officers’ service quality on passenger satisfaction and to identify what service quality attributes transit and transfer officers at Yogyakarta International Airport should develop. This research employed the importance-performance analysis (IPA) approach. The sample size was 100 respondents, obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were in transit or transferring at Yogyakarta International Airport and measured using the Slovin formula. The data were analyzed using Gap analysis with the SERVQUAL method and importance-performance analysis (IPA). The research results show that the analysis of the level of conformance and the reality-expectation gap based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions of the service quality of Transit and Transfer officers at Yogyakarta International Airport is good in satisfying passenger expectations. The average gap dimension analysis indicates that the service of Transit and Transfer officers are providing satisfactory service based on passengers’ perceptions, with an average score of <-1. Based on the Cartesian diagram mapping, 6 attributes are considered important by passengers and need priority action and carry out evaluations and improvements based on the mapping results through importance-performance analysis, with the physical evidence dimension resulting in the lowest quality dimension and requiring priority improvement action.

This study aims to ascertain how service users are supervised by the Apron Movement Control Unit and how service users are dissipated by the Apron Movement Control Unit at Sultan Mahmud Badarudin II International Airport in South Sumatra. This study employs primary and secondary data in a qualitative manner. Three methods of gathering data were employed: documentation, interviews, and observation. The study's findings support the assertion that the AMC unit oversees all tarmac operational activities related to the discipline of service users, including monitoring the speed of GSE and officer vehicles, regulating passenger and person mobility, supervising the use of equipment that agents are required to use, such as safety vests, supervising engine travel, supervising refuelling, and keeping an eye on the apron area's cleanliness. The AMC unit monitors everyone's movement, including passengers, and imposes discipline on service users on the air side (apron). Ground handling agents who violate the guidelines face disciplinary action from the AMC. The person in question receives a straight reprimand, and if they receive one of these actions three times in a row, their airport pass is cancelled or withheld, making it impossible for them to work on the airside or apron areas.

Marriage administration services are a form of public service that has important legal and social implications for the community. The Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), as a technical implementing unit of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, plays a strategic role in providing legal certainty regarding marital status. This study aims to analyze the quality of public services and public perceptions of marriage administration services at the Office of Religious Affairs in South Dumai District. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, with purposively selected informants consisting of KUA officers and community service users. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the quality of public services at the KUA in South Dumai District is generally in the good category, particularly in the dimensions of responsiveness, reliability, and assurance. However, the tangible and empathy dimensions still require improvement, particularly related to limited infrastructure and individual attention to the community. This study confirms that the effectiveness of marriage administration services is determined not only by the performance of the apparatus, but also by the level of understanding and readiness of the community as service users. These findings provide important implications for improving the quality of public services through strengthening socialization, procedural transparency, and a more user-oriented service approach.

This study explores how public service innovations in motor vehicle testing, based on Regional Public Service Agencies (BLUD), can improve road safety governance. In regions with rapidly growing motor vehicle populations, inadequate roadworthiness controls contribute to high traffic accident risks. While Indonesia has a regulatory framework for motor vehicle testing, service delivery remains largely administrative and lacks a strong focus on road safety. The study aims to assess how public service innovations can enhance road safety governance through local government-managed vehicle testing based on BLUD. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving local government officials, testing technicians, and service users. Thematic and interpretive data analysis identified governance dimensions that influence service effectiveness. The study finds that road safety governance improvement relies on four main capacities: relational, structural, resource, and adaptive. Although BLUD-based management offers flexibility for service innovation, its implementation has not fully aligned with road safety goals. Challenges remain in public trust, cross-agency coordination, resource availability, and organizational learning. The study concludes that integrating public service innovation with institutional capacity building and safety-focused performance management is essential for strengthening road safety governance. These findings highlight the strategic importance of motor vehicle testing in enhancing road safety and public value at the regional level.

This study aims to analyze the quality of administrative services at UPT Puskesmas Bumi Ayu, Dumai City, as part of primary public health service delivery. Service quality is an important indicator of institutional performance and community satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of the head of the health center and a service user selected purposively based on direct involvement in administrative services. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The assessment framework applies five service quality dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings indicate that administrative services generally perform well, particularly in staff responsiveness, procedural reliability, and empathetic interaction. However, several limitations remain, including limited inpatient room facilities and difficulties among elderly users in understanding the Mobile JKN online registration system. These results suggest that service improvement should focus on strengthening physical infrastructure and enhancing user support for digital service access to improve overall administrative service quality in primary healthcare institutions.

The existence of this public complaint service can help the public in submitting their complaints. Complainants to one-stop integrated service offices often feel disappointed when their complaints are not managed or responded to well, so it is important to manage complaints that can be managed well. Complaints must be planned by the Nabire district One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) public service provider. Reporters are all parties who submit complaints to the Public Service Complaints Management body, including citizens and residents, whether individuals, groups or legal entities, who are beneficiaries of the services of the Licensing Department. So far, the complaint system is still limited to manual methods and the use of platforms such as WhatsApp. This condition results in various problems, including slow complaint resolution due to limitations in the use of paper or the WhatsApp platform. The risk of human error, such as losing the complaint form, also increases with the use of these manual methods. The WhatsApp application, which is not a dedicated platform for complaints, also has privacy flaws that could threaten user information if not properly encrypted. Apart from that, using Telegram or WhatsApp as a platform for complaints also does not guarantee optimal data security. Messages sent through such applications are vulnerable to thirdparty access if not properly encrypted, increasing privacy risks for users. Therefore, the use of web-based applications can be an appropriate and effective solution for handling complaints. Relevant agencies must allocate resources to develop more sophisticated digital complaint systems.
