Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in shaping children's character and personality. One of the essential character values to instill from an early age is sincerity. The instillation of sincere character in PAUD children forms positive social and spiritual attitudes, which will affect their development in the future. This study aims to examine the application of sincerity values in character building for children at PAUD KB Hidayatullah Gading Kulon Banyuanyar Probolinggo. The research method used is a qualitative approach with interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The results show that PAUD KB Hidayatullah has integrated sincerity values into learning activities, both in religious education and daily social interactions. Sincerity is understood as performing good deeds with pure intentions for Allah alone, without expecting praise or reward. The instillation of this value has positively impacted the children's character development, including strengthening empathy, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility. Based on these findings, it is recommended that sincerity values be more widely integrated into the PAUD curriculum to create a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also morally upright.

Student character development is one of the main goals of education, especially in madrasas based on Islamic teachings. However, there are still many students who have difficulty internalizing Islamic values in their daily lives. This is influenced by a lack of spiritual understanding, weak self-control, and less than optimal guidance methods. Islamic counseling, which is based on the principles of the Qur'an and Hadith, is a relevant holistic approach to strengthen students' Islamic character through the cultivation of spiritual, intellectual, and social values. This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic counseling on students' character building in madrasah, identify the most affected character aspects, and provide recommendations for integrating Islamic counseling services into the Guidance and Counseling program. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data were collected from students, guidance teachers, and homeroom teachers to explore the experience and impact of Islamic counseling on students' characters, such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and empathy. The results showed that Islamic counseling is effective in improving student character, especially in terms of self-control and social interaction. The findings support the importance of integrating Islamic counseling services as part of the educational program in madrasah to achieve more optimal character building. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a structured and effective Islamic counseling program.

Interpretation of the Qur'an is an effort to understand Allah's verses through various methods, including tafsir bil-ma'tsur, tafsir bil-ra'yi, and tafsir Isyari. Tafsir bil-ma'tsur relies on the Qur'an, hadith, and the understanding of the companions and the tabi'in, carrying strong authority but not without critique regarding the authenticity of its chains of narration and the potential inclusion of Israiliyat. Tafsir bil-ra'yi employs reason and logic, divided into commendable interpretations that adhere to the principles of Quranic exegesis and blameworthy interpretations that often deviate from Islamic law. Meanwhile, tafsir Isyari offers a symbolic and esoteric approach, requiring strict conditions to ensure relevance and alignment with the apparent meaning of the verses. Although scholars have differing opinions regarding the validity of these interpretative methods, they collectively reflect the intellectual richness of Islam in interpreting the Qur'an to meet the spiritual and intellectual needs of the community across different contexts and eras.

The intellect functions as a tool for wise thinking and decision-making, helping humans understand religious teachings and controlling passions. The spirit as the spiritual essence connects humans with God, providing the impetus to do good and achieve spiritual happiness. Meanwhile, lust, which includes worldly urges, must be controlled so as not to lead humans to pleasures that violate sharia. The study concludes that the balance between these three elements leads to a meaningful life that is in line with the purpose of creation as servants of Allah.

As a nation with a predominantly Muslim population, Indonesia bears a profound responsibility to cultivate Islamic religious education (PAI) that transcends mere knowledge transfer and serves as a means to shape the character of the younger generation. PAI is anticipated to foster a character rooted in the noble values of Islam, as well as to internalize moral and ethical principles as guiding standards in daily life. However, religious education at the school level faces considerable challenges, as conventional teaching methods tend to result in minimal student engagement. This research aims to explore the impact of revitalizing Islamic religious education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Arqom on the character development of students. Employing a qualitative approach, this study utilizes interviews, participatory observations, and focused group discussions to gather data. The analysis reveals that the implementation of routine activities, such as dhuha prayers, exemplary teaching by educators, and active learning methods positively contributes to the enhancement of students' discipline, sense of responsibility, and social concern. This research also uncovers a positive correlation between the quality of religious education and the character development of students, thereby underscoring the necessity for innovation within the curriculum and teaching methodologies of PAI. Recommendations are put forth for the development of educational programs that are more responsive to the demands of the times and the aspirations of the younger generation, ensuring that religious education in Indonesia can cultivate individuals who are intellectually astute and morally upright.

The Qur'an, as the guiding book for Muslims, contains profound meanings that have consistently attracted scholarly attention throughout history. To comprehend these meanings, various interpretive methods have been developed and categorized based on their forms: Tafsir bi al-Matsur, Tafsir bi al-Ra’yi, and Tafsir bi al-Isyari. This article explores the characteristics, methods, and contributions of each type of interpretation in understanding the Qur'an. Tafsir bi al-Matsur relies on the traditions of the Prophet, his companions, and successors, providing an authoritative foundation. Tafsir bi al-Ra’yi integrates reason and ijtihad to address contemporary challenges. Meanwhile, Tafsir bi al-Isyari emphasizes esoteric dimensions that are symbolic and spiritual in nature. This study reveals that these three forms of tafsir complement each other in bridging human understanding of the Qur'an and addressing the intellectual and spiritual needs of Muslims in various life contexts.

Islamic economic thought experienced significant development during the Islamic Golden Age, with Muslim scholars making major contributions to global economic knowledge. During this period, thinkers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Khaldun, and Al-Ghazali introduced concepts focused on justice, social welfare, and a balance between material and spiritual needs. Through the translation of scholarly works, many Islamic economic concepts were transmitted to Europe, which was experiencing intellectual stagnation during the Dark Ages. This influence helped revive interest in economic thought in the West, particularly during the Renaissance. However, following the Islamic Golden Age, a substantial gap emerged in economic thought development between the Islamic world and the West. As the West progressed through the Industrial Revolution and the rise of capitalism, Islamic economic thought faced a period of stagnation. This article examines the historical development of Islamic economic thought, the impact of knowledge transmission from the Islamic world to the West, and the relevance of Islamic economics in addressing modern economic challenges such as social inequality, financial crises, and the need for a more ethical and sustainable economic system.

Islam considers that health is part of Allah's greatest favor. Medically, fasting can cleanse toxins and substances that accumulate in the digestive tract, kidneys, and other organs of the body due to preservatives, dyes, artificial sweeteners, cancer-causing carcinogenic substances, cigarette smoke and others that accumulate over the years. Although our body's mechanisms have the ability to treat themselves, the body's capacity also has its limits. By fasting, the protection of the body's organs can be perfect. The purpose of this research is to inform Muslims that fasting is mandatory for us to carry it out. In the Qur'an, surah al-Baqarah 2:183. Allah SWT said, "O you who believe, it is obligatory to fast on you, it is obligatory to those before you, so that you may fear Allah". Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam that must be done by every Muslim who is mukalaf (who has reached puberty and has intellect) and who is not in hindrance (uzur). This study examines the application of Immanuel Kant's ethical principles in the use of autonomous technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the academic domain. AI technology has significantly impacted academic efficiency and innovation but has also raised serious ethical challenges, such as algorithmic bias, dependency on technology, and threats to privacy and transparency. Using a Kantian ethical approach, this research identifies key issues and proposes an ethical framework that places justice, transparency, and respect for human dignity at the core of the design and implementation of autonomous technologies. The findings indicate that algorithmic bias can exacerbate academic inequities, while excessive reliance on AI risks diminishing the critical and creative capabilities of academics. Additionally, privacy and accountability in the management of academic data emerge as major concerns requiring ethically grounded policy interventions. This study also highlights the need for a new paradigm ensuring that autonomous technologies uphold humanistic values in academic settings, such as inclusivity, intellectual autonomy, and justice.

Islamization emerged because of the concerns of Muslim intellectuals who saw that Muslims were in crisis due to the application of secular-based Western science. The secular concept of science is not suitable for Muslims because it separates religion from science. So far, Islam is believed to have a very important role in coloring the building of science. However, in reality, Muslim society seems to be forced to implement secular teachings in life because of the rapid flow of secularization. This condition is a concern for Islamic thinkers, because it could endanger Islamic faith. Thus, a critical opinion emerged from a Muslim scholar who came up with the idea of the Islamization of science, namely Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi and Syad Naquib Al-Attas. Both of them saw that the phenomenon of scientific development had deviated from Islamic teachings. So that it has the impact of someone becoming secular. This research aims to discuss the Islamization of science according to the thoughts of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi and Syad Naquib Al-Attas. The method used in this research is a research library, by collecting previous articles and sources. The results of this research reveal that Al-Faruqi and Al-Attas have similarities in their thinking, namely that they both think that the main problem of the Muslim crisis is science developed by the West.
