Hypertension is one of the most common non-communicable diseases, with a high incidence rate that has become a major global health concern. It is often referred to as a “silent killer” because many patients are unaware of their condition until serious complications arise. In Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension is relatively high, yet many sufferers remain undiagnosed or do not receive proper medical treatment. Several risk factors contribute to hypertension, including age, heredity, high-salt diet, obesity, lack of physical activity, and unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking and alcohol consumption. Without proper management, hypertension may lead to severe complications such as stroke, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease. Management of hypertension generally involves pharmacological therapy, such as the administration of antihypertensive drugs, as well as non-pharmacological interventions through lifestyle modifications. Nurses play a crucial role in patient education, monitoring, and preventing complications through comprehensive nursing care. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing care provided to Mr. R, who experienced a cardiovascular system disorder, namely hypertension, in the Dahlia Ward of RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal Regency. The research method used was descriptive with a case study approach, allowing for a systematic and clear presentation of the patient’s condition. The case findings showed that the patient’s main complaint was a headache radiating to the nape of the neck. Based on nursing assessment, two nursing diagnoses were identified: acute pain and lack of knowledge regarding the disease and its management. Interventions were determined using national standards such as SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI, which are expected to reduce symptoms and improve the patient’s understanding of hypertension.

This writing is intended for equality between women and men so that there are no differences in education. Through the hadith texts of the Prophet and History from pre-prophecy, it cannot be denied that women are second class in life so that many people exclude women compared to men, contrary to what was taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW who was sent to the face of the earth. This is one way of elevating a woman's status or perfecting her morals to this day, but currently many people in the community think that women's education is not important because women will return to home affairs serving their husbands and educating their children. In contrast to the current life where women can become leaders and can hold positions that men usually hold, such as in government and pubic society. In writing this, the author hopes to change society's mindset to change and improve thinking that does not provide access to women so that women can develop themselves so that they can become useful women in society, especially in their households, in this case not a few women complain. to be able to study and be educated as a man who values education in high regard. This study explores the phenomenon of eclipses from the perspective of Islamic prophetic traditions (hadith), aiming to understand the theological and ritual responses to such celestial events in Islamic teachings. Despite being predictable astronomical occurrences, eclipses have often been associated with myths and superstitions in various cultures. The study investigates how Islamic teachings demystify these phenomena through authentic hadiths. Using a qualitative method with a thematic and historical approach, primary data were drawn from digital hadith sources such as Maktabah Syamilah, Hadith Soft, and the Encyclopedia of Hadith: The Nine Imams. The analysis identified ten relevant hadiths, which were grouped into three main themes: the meaning of eclipses, the spiritual wisdom behind them, and prescribed religious practices. Findings show that Islam emphasizes eclipses as signs of God's greatness, unrelated to death or birth events, and calls for reflective acts such as prayer and charity. This research contributes to the discourse on how religious texts provide a rational and spiritual framework for  natural phenomena

Burn injuries are a significant health problem because they damage the skin’s protective barrier, increase the risk of infection, and may cause severe complications if not treated properly. The healing process is complex and involves several cellular events, in which fibroblasts play a key role by producing collagen and forming granulation tissue. Recently, there has been growing interest in natural, herbal-based therapies for wound care. Tamarind leaves (Tamarindus indica) were chosen in this study because they contain flavonoids, polyphenols, tannins, and saponins, all of which have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and tissue-regenerating properties. The aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of ethanol extract gel of tamarind leaves at concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, and 10% in promoting fibroblast proliferation and healing of burn wounds in male rats (Rattus norvegicus). An experimental randomized design was used with six groups: normal control, neative control, positive control, and three treatment groups. Clinical observation and histopathological analysis showed that the extract gel accelerated wound closure significantly compared to the negative control. Fibroblast proliferation was higher in all treatment groups, with the 10% extract giving the best result, similar to Bioplacenton. These findings highlight tamarind leaves’ potential as a safe and affordable alternative for burn wound therapy.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This disease results from a combination of insulin resistance and impaired pancreatic β-cell function, leading to persistent hyperglycemia and increased risk of long-term complications affecting the kidneys, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and eyes. This report describes the case of a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with T2DM for approximately ten years. The patient presented with fatigue, nocturnal polyuria, nausea after meals, significant weight loss, and tingling in her extremities. Laboratory findings revealed an HbA1c level of 12%, reflecting very poor glycemic control. A family medicine approach was applied through detailed history taking, physical and laboratory examinations, home visits, and completion of a family folder to assess clinical, personal, social, and functional aspects. Interventions included counseling on balanced diet, encouragement of regular physical activity, education on diabetic foot care, and pharmacological treatment with metformin and insulin. The family received counseling about hereditary risk factors, the importance of emotional support, and the need for consistent monitoring of health status. The patient was still capable of light daily activities, supported by a highly functional family environment with an APGAR score of 10. A holistic family medicine–based approach was shown to improve treatment adherence, patient knowledge, and overall quality of life. Therefore, management of T2DM requires a comprehensive strategy that integrates promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative components, emphasizing the active involvement of family and community at the primary care level to reduce complications, slow disease progression, and enhance patient well-being.   Keywords: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This study examines the role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as a moderator in the relationship between employee engagement, job satisfaction, and employee performance at the Tarokan District Office in Kediri Regency. The research focuses on analyzing how these variables interact and influence each other within the organizational context. The findings indicate that employee engagement has a significant impact on employee performance. This suggests that when employees are more engaged in their work, they tend to exhibit higher levels of performance. Similarly, job satisfaction also significantly influences employee performance. Employees who are satisfied with their work environment and tasks tend to perform better in their roles. However, the study reveals that organizational citizenship behavior does not significantly influence employee performance. This implies that while OCB is often considered a valuable aspect of employee behavior, it does not directly affect how well employees perform their tasks in this particular setting. Additionally, employee engagement does not significantly affect organizational citizenship behavior, indicating that engaged employees do not necessarily engage in extra-role behaviors like helping others or going beyond job requirements. The research also shows that job satisfaction does not have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, which suggests that employees’ satisfaction with their work does not automatically lead to behaviors that contribute to the broader success of the organization. Furthermore, neither employee engagement nor job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance through organizational citizenship behavior, indicating that OCB does not serve as an effective moderator in these relationships. In conclusion, the main factor in improving employee performance is organizational citizenship behavior does not play a significant moderating role in this dynamic at the Tarokan District Office.

The management of household waste remains a major challenge in society, especially in densely populated rural and urban areas. The practice of open burning of waste is still often carried out because it is considered quick and practical, despite its negative impacts on health and the environment. The smoke from burning can trigger respiratory diseases, reduce air quality, and accelerate global warming. In light of this issue, the 2025 KKN-T 23 UMSIDA students initiated a community service program by introducing an innovation in the form of an environmentally friendly waste bin that can reduce the practice of waste burning. This waste bin is designed with a system for separating organic and inorganic waste and special ventilation that accelerates the natural decomposition process. Through a participatory approach, students involve the community in the planning, creation, and testing of the innovative trash bins. The results of the activities show an increase in community awareness in sorting waste, a decrease in the habit of burning waste, and an improvement in the quality of the surrounding environment. This program has also successfully fostered collaboration between students, village officials, and residents in creating a greener and healthier environment. This trash bin innovation is hoped to be a sustainable model that can be implemented in various areas as a simple yet effective solution for community-based waste management.

Brushing teeth among elementary school students continues to be a concern for everyone, especially in maintaining their dental health. To generate the level of the students’ knowledge, it can be seen from a video-based learning method. The survey in SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh showed that most students have a misunderstanding of how to do proper brushing of teeth. The other way to monitor mouth health is to have never watched educational media in the form of videos. This study aims to determine the video-based learning method on tooth brushing knowledge among fourth and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh. This study is a quantitative study using a correlational approach with quasi quasi-experimental design of Pre-Test and Post-Test. This study consisted of one group that examined the knowledge using the instrument of video therapy. The sample was 45 students that never chosen by using a total sampling technique of all population. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analyses with a normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings indicate that knowledge with Cronbach's Alpha (0.758) > r table (0,361) and video-based learning. The result of the bivariate analysis obtained the average statistical value for the pretest as 157. The calculation for the post-test value is 170 with a p-value = 0,000 (≤ 0.05). Therefore, this study proves that there is an effect of the video-based learning method on tooth brushing knowledge of fourth and fifth-grade students in SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh. It is expected that students can apply the information provided on brushing their teeth in daily life.

This study investigates the role of peer social support in enhancing self-confidence among adolescents at the Amal Wanita An-Nur Orphanage in Depok, Indonesia. Adolescents living in orphanages often experience psychological challenges, including low self-confidence and limited social interaction, which can affect their personal growth and future orientation. The objective of this research is to explore how peer social support contributes to strengthening self-confidence and to identify the forms, driving factors, and obstacles of such support. A qualitative descriptive method was applied through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving seven informants consisting of the orphanage head, caregivers, and adolescents. Findings show that three types of support emotional, appraisal, and informational play a dominant role in fostering self-confidence. Emotional support was expressed through empathy and active listening, appraisal support was provided through recognition of achievements and encouragement, while informational support involved advice and constructive feedback. Meanwhile, instrumental and network support were less emphasized due to limited resources. Despite the presence of barriers such as feelings of inferiority, miscommunication, and differences in emotional readiness, peer support proved effective in motivating adolescents, strengthening their resilience, and fostering positive self-perception. The implications suggest the need for structured peer-support programs, facilitated by caregivers and social workers, to maximize adolescents’ potential and prepare them for future challenges. Thus, this study demonstrates that peer social support serves not only as a protective factor but also as a social learning tool that shapes adolescents' interpersonal skills. Targeted programs can increase self-confidence, expand social relationships, and create a more supportive and inclusive nursing home environment.

Bulu Village, Sugihwaras District, Bojonegoro Regency, is an agricultural village with abundant natural resource potential, including tobacco. However, community agricultural practices still rely heavily on the use of chemical pesticides, which are relatively expensive and carry the risk of negative impacts on human health and environmental sustainability. This situation prompted the implementation of a community service program in the form of training in the manufacture of natural pesticides from jadam sulfur and tobacco leaves using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. This approach was chosen because it focuses on exploring and optimizing local assets, both in the form of natural materials and community social skills. The training activities were attended by farmer groups and youth organizations (Karang Taruna), which play a crucial role in the program's sustainability. The training materials included theories on the dangers of chemical pesticides, the advantages of natural pesticides, and hands-on practice in making pesticides from jadam sulfur and tobacco leaves. Evaluation of the activities was carried out through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to participants. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in farmers' knowledge about environmentally friendly pesticides, skills in making natural pesticides, and growing awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture. In addition, the involvement of Karang Taruna strengthens the sustainability of the program through regeneration and ongoing mentoring. Overall, this training demonstrated the effectiveness of the ABCD approach in optimizing local potential to produce more economical, healthy, and environmentally friendly agricultural innovations. Thus, this program not only supports increased agricultural productivity but also contributes to the broader well-being of rural communities.
