The provisions of the 1945 Constitution Article 1 paragraph (3) "The State of Indonesia is a State of Law". In addition to being a state of law, Indonesia is also a democratic state. In the concept of democracy, the government of a country is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people (principle of democracy). One of the important moments for the state of Indonesia to adopt a democratic system is the implementation of elections. Elections are also a means to encourage accountability and public control over the state, direct elections will make prospective leaders in the election contest do various ways to attract public sympathy to be able to vote for them. Even with methods that violate the constitution are also carried out. As is often the case in society during the election period, namely money politics . Legal regulations related to money politics in Law no. 7 of 2017 concerning elections include several special articles that prohibit the practice of money politics, but legal loopholes in election regulations include unclear definitions and ambiguous exceptions. Law enforcement against the practice of money politics in Indonesia still faces many challenges. This study uses a library study method supported by relevant research. The results of the study show that the root of the problem of the emergence of money politics is the existence of legal loopholes, weak supervision and a proportional election system that opens up opportunities for the development of money politics. The problem of money politics needs to be analyzed to obtain an effective strategy in preventing it. Money politics is not in accordance with the principles of democratic theory which demands freedom and justice. Elections are said to be fair if all people have the same right to choose leaders by not violating the rule of law.

The concept of the face of the other in Emmanuel Levinas’s philosophy remains a relevant and enduring philosophical idea. The presence of the face interrupts the existence of the “I” and simultaneously calls it to ethical action. This moral summons constitutes an inherent ethical responsibility for every individual. In today’s digital era, the internet has formed a virtual space in which the face of the other emerges in new forms, including through digital content. This study examines how the concept of the face of the other is manifested in the content published by Katolikpedia.id across various digital platforms such as its website, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The aim of this research is to explore the extent to which these contents awaken ethical awareness and encourage moral action among followers, readers, and the general public. This study employs a qualitative method, using a combination of literature review and content observation. The findings reveal that the content of Katolikpedia.id, both explicitly and implicitly, communicates an ethical call to society to adopt a moral stance and act responsibly. Thus, digital media becomes a new space for the presence of the face of the other and for ethical encounters in contemporary contexts.

The increasing population triggers a demand for land for housing and other activities. Along with this, issues arise regarding the limited availability of land, especially in rapidly developed areas. This limitation has the potential to create an imbalance between the growing need for space and the existing land capacity. This study evaluates the land carrying capacity in four sub-districts in the southern part of Medan City, namely Medan Tuntungan, Medan Johor, Medan Amplas, and Medan Denai, in dealing with the continuously growing population. Using a spatial analysis approach with ArcGIS 10.8 software and detailed spatial data, this research identifies potential areas for residential development and projects the capacity of land to accommodate future populations. The analysis covers physical and environmental aspects such as land slope, soil type, natural disaster risks, and access to public facilities. The results show that each sub-district has different potentials and challenges. Medan Tuntungan, with its large area and flat land conditions, shows significant potential for residential development, although attention must be given to the existence of protected areas and agricultural land that must be preserved. Medan Johor, as an economic center, faces substantial pressure on land use, with some areas nearing their maximum capacity. Medan Amplas and Medan Denai, which are more urban, experience stricter land limitations. Population growth projections indicate a significant increase in land demand in some sub-districts in the coming decades. Without effective management, this has the potential to exert high pressure on the environment and urban infrastructure. This research emphasizes the importance of spatial planning and sustainable development policies to maintain a balance between housing needs and environmental conservation.

Building agreement and influencing public opinion need effective communication. As a means of expressing ideas, language creates emotions that are used for political advantages during an electoral campaign. Human existence and the maintenance of connections depend on communication, a complex process. In actuality, human interactions are lubricated by this substance. Despite its importance, communication has two sides and can be applied either favorably or unfavorably. From the standpoint of its capacity for complexity, Boulton (2019, p. 41) pointed to the negative social intent of language. She also noted that language is frequently employed to deceive rather than to communicate. Human existence and the maintenance of connections depend on communication, a complex process. Many Muslim communities still consider business ethics to be unimportant in business activities, because business is nothing more than just seeking profit. This study will discuss how business ethics are in the perspective of the Qur'an. This study includes library research, namely research that examines data sourced from library materials, using the thematic interpretation method. This study is based on the interpretation of verses of the Qur'an that directly discuss business morality and verses that do not directly discuss business morality. Business in the Qur'an is both material and immaterial. Where business in the Qur'an does not only prioritize material profit but also spiritual profit. The existence of business morality cannot be separated from the business itself. The business morality of the Qur'an contains basic business values such as the values of unity, balance, free will, accountability, and ihsan. Then it gives birth to business morality which is free from elements of falsehood, damage and injustice such as usury, fraud, reducing the measure or fraud, corruption, bribery, gambling, gharar and hoarding and so on. Then business in the Qur'an highly prioritizes hasanah values such as honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, social responsibility, istiqomah, tolerance and friendliness in business life. Thus, business ethics in the Qur'an are not only oriented towards fulfilling the needs and welfare of life in the world, but also business as a means of goodness for safety in the hereafter.

The existence of political parties in a country that adheres to a democratic system is a necessity and the inevitability of their existence. Because with the existence of political parties, democracy will run according to the reel that it should run, starting from the freedom to gather and associate as regulated in the constitution to the implementation of general elections for President and Vice President, Legislative and regional head elections indicating that democracy in a country is at least whether or not it can be said to be going well. In Indonesia itself, the existence of political parties can be said to be multi-party because there are more than two parties, as in several other democratic countries where there are only two parties. Although in general, if we look at their ideology, political parties in Indonesia can be grouped into just two, namely parties that are religiously oriented (religious) and parties that are nationalist (state) oriented. In the research results, it is stated that multi-party parties do not always work well and are relevant, so there needs to be simplification in the future so that people are not confused by many parties.
