The risk of sarcopenia and metabolic complications in the elderly can be caused by the aging process and decreased muscle mass in the elderly group. Sarcopenia and obesity in the elderly also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and physical disability, which have the potential to reduce quality of life and increase morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this community service activity is to screen protein levels and lipid profiles in the elderly group in order to detect the risk of sarcopenia and dyslipidemia early. This activity is carried out using the Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) method which includes planning, implementation, supervision, and follow-up. The community service activity was carried out at Panti Bina Bhakti, South Tangerang, involving 93 elderly participants aged >65 years. The results of the activity showed that 35 people (37.63%), 9 people (9.68%), 35 people (37.63%), and 7 people (7.53%) each had abnormal lipid profiles for HDL, Cholesterol, LDL, and Triglycerides. While 24 people (25.81%) had abnormal albumin levels. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor protein levels and lipid profiles regularly as well as early intervention through a healthy diet, regular exercise, and education for the elderly to maintain muscle mass and muscle strength.

Based on observations and the latest information, when researchers took part in training with SSB Bima Muda Disdikbud, the athletes looked very weak when passing and not optimal. This problem is caused by the leg muscle power not being optimal. So it is necessary to carry out exercises to increase leg muscle power for passing skills. The research method used is an experimental one group pre-test post-test design, which is carried out by providing treatment to research subjects. This research, which involved 21 SSB Bima Muda Disdikbud athletes with 16 treatments in the form of leg muscle power training, gave results where the average passing before was 66.5 which changed to 84.8 after being given the leg muscle power training treatment. Meanwhile, the results of the paired sample t-test show that there is an influence of leg muscle power training on the passing skills of SSB Bima Muda Disdikbud athletes because the sig. (2-tailed) is 0.05. Meanwhile ttable at α 0.05 Df = N-1 where (DF = 21 -1 = 20) so that ttable is obtained with a value of 1.725. So this research meets the requirements where tcount > ttable (13,005 > 1.725) thus Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that there is an influence of leg muscle power training on passing skills in the soccer game of SSB Bima Muda Disdikbud athletes.

Long jump is one of the branches of athletics. As we know, athletics involves physical activities or exercises that consist of natural movements such as walking, jumping, and throwing. Various methods in athletics have been practiced since the early history of humankind. History indicates that in ancient classical times, athletics was conducted in an organized and structured manner, and over time, its programs underwent changes and improvements based on healthy ideas. Today, athletics is a complex sport that includes various tests based on the requirements of its implementation. Observation results show that a long jump athlete is required to achieve maximum jumps (distance), which is measured from the take-off board to the nearest point of landing. Preliminary studies revealed that students were not achieving optimal results in long jump performances. The evident obstacles include a lack of facilities and infrastructure to support long jump training and a shortage of qualified teachers to instruct physical education. As a result, the training techniques used appear monotonous and boring for the students. Thus, the research question posed is: what is the effect of modifying the take-off board on the results of the squat-style long jump among students of SDN 06 Tegalsari, Ampelgading District, Pemalang Regency? The method used in this study is the experimental method. Theoretically, the definition of an experiment according to Umar (2018:161) is "a trial in which each step of the action has been defined in such a way that information related to or required for the problem being investigated can be collected.

This study aims to examine the influence of bounding (lompat kijang) and split squat jump training on sprint performance among Physical Education students at a university in Medan. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving ten participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that bounding exercises significantly improve stride length, movement coordination, and sprint acceleration. Meanwhile, the split squat jump contributes more to initial push-off strength, body stability, and lower-limb muscular endurance. Most participants reported that combining both exercises produces the most optimal sprint improvement, as it simultaneously trains horizontal and vertical power. Additionally, the combined training enhances running efficiency and increases participants’ confidence during short-distance sprinting. The study concludes that both plyometric exercises are effective and recommended for speed-training programs, particularly for students and beginner athletes seeking comprehensive sprint performance enhancement.
