This study aims to examine and compare the expenditure and income patterns between traditional market traders in Sukaramai Market and MMTC with street vendors operating around the State University of Medan (UNIMED). This study is based on the main differences between the two groups, especially related to business legality, sales location, and operational costs, which have the potential to affect business effectiveness and the economic welfare of the actors. The comparative quantitative method was used to collect data through questionnaires and Simple Random Sampling sampling techniques on 45 respondents, consisting of 30 market traders and 15 street vendors. The collected data were then analyzed using statistical inference techniques to obtain accurate and reliable parameter estimates. The results of the study show that market traders have an average income of IDR 9.37 million with expenses of IDR 6.7 million per month, so that the net profit obtained reaches IDR 2.67 million. Meanwhile, street vendors have an average income of IDR 7.2 million and expenses of IDR 5.53 million, so that their net profit is around IDR 1.67 million. Although market traders' expenses are higher, they still get a greater net profit. This study confirms that business location, legality, and management system factors significantly affect the efficiency and economic success of traders. This finding is very relevant as a basis for formulating fair and sustainable policies for empowering the informal sector, especially for small and micro traders in urban areas, in order to optimally improve their economic welfare.

This study aims to explore the role of digital-based operational innovation in enhancing the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The background lies in the growing need for MSMEs to adapt to technological advancements in order to maintain their existence and improve business performance amid increasingly intense competition. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, data were collected from various credible academic sources published within the last five years (2019–2024), including journals, institutional reports, and relevant literature. The findings reveal that the adoption of technologies such as digital point-of-sale (POS) systems, cloud-based inventory management, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) significantly contributes to operational efficiency, market expansion, and service quality improvement. However, the digitalization process among MSMEs still faces several challenges, including low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and inadequate access to training. In conclusion, the success of MSME digital transformation heavily depends on the collaboration between business actors, government, academia, and other stakeholders to build an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem.

Beauty products have become a promising business, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Various brands have achieved high sales figures, one of which is Skintific products. This study aims to analyze the role of micro-influencers in increasing brand awareness of Skintific products. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data was obtained from literature reviews, digital observations, and official publications related to the topic. The results of the study indicate that micro-influencers play a significant role in increasing brand awareness for Skintific products. With a higher engagement rate compared to macro-influencers, micro-influencers are able to build closer and more authentic relationships with their audience, making their recommendations more trustworthy than conventional advertisements. Despite having a smaller number of followers, micro-influencers demonstrate greater effectiveness in creating engaging content such as product reviews, tutorials, and unboxing videos, which increase consumer interest and trust in the product. Research data shows that micro-influencers' engagement rate (5.07%) is higher than that of macro-influencers (3.25%), despite their more limited reach. The success of this marketing strategy is also supported by the use of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, which enable the distribution of interactive visual content and expand brand awareness organically. With increased audience engagement, Skintific has not only succeeded in strengthening brand awareness but also in building product credibility, which ultimately contributes to increased consumer interest and purchasing decisions.

Financial innovation plays a crucial role in increasing people's access to economic services, especially in the ever-evolving digital era. Through various forms of innovation such as digital financial services, fintech, mobile banking, and electronic payment systems, people, including those in remote areas—have made it easier to reach banking, investment, and financing services. These innovations help overcome various conventional barriers, such as limited physical infrastructure, high transaction costs, and the unaffordability of formal financial services. In addition, the presence of financial technology also expands financial inclusion by providing products and services that are more flexible, cheap, and easily accessible through mobile devices. This not only encourages local economic growth, but also empowers micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to develop their businesses. However, challenges remain, such as the need for financial literacy, consumer data protection, and adequate regulatory oversight. Therefore, synergy between the government, financial institutions, technology providers, and the community is important to ensure that financial innovation can be utilized optimally and sustainably in promoting inclusive economic prosperity. Financial innovation is not just a technological advancement, but a strategic solution towards economic justice.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the drivers of the Indonesian economy that have great potential to improve the economy and community welfare. The development of MSMEs, which has so far taken the form of training, technical guidance and entrepreneurship workshops attended by ASIPA members and general MSMEs in the ASIPA Community of South Tangerang City, has had a positive effect on several actors, although not all of them have been able to implement what has been given during the training. This research aims to discuss how the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Policy is implemented in the ASIPA South Tangerang Community, using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research analysis uses the theory put forward by Edward III (1980) with four indicators, namely: (1) Communication, (2) Resources, (3) Disposition, (4) Bureaucratic Structure. The data analyzed is the result of interviews, observations and documentation in the ASIPA South Tangerang Community. The results of research on the Implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Policy in the South Tangerang ASIPA Community from four indicators are that (1) Lack of understanding in promotion to improve the business of MSME actors (2) In providing services, guidance and security for MSME actors in terms of quality, there are still administrators and members who lack competence. Apart from that, in terms of quantity, the number of administrators and members is still minimal to carry out improvement activities in innovation (3) There is still a lack of facilities and training activities as well as proposals for security equipment and others, not all of which can be fulfilled because limited budget resources (4) The administrators and members have carried out their duties in accordance with the SOP that has been regulated, however the performance of the administrators and members has not been optimal because there are still administrators and members who carry out concurrent work in other fields.

This community service activity aims to increase the financial independence of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Sudiang, Makassar, through a networking approach and strengthening financial literacy capacity. The main problems faced by the local KWT are the still low understanding of group financial management, limited access to financial information, and dependence on external assistance. Through socialization, training, and interactive discussions, participants were provided with an understanding of the basic concepts of financial independence, simple financial record keeping, collective fund management, and the importance of institutional networks as a sustainability strategy. The results of the activity showed an increase in members' understanding of the importance of financial literacy and the ability to design an internal financial system independently. In addition, strengthening networks with local stakeholders was also started as a first step towards finding a KWT business. The activity concluded with a question and answer session and the presentation of certificates to participants as a form of appreciation and ongoing motivation. Going forward, further mentoring is needed so that the empowerment process can continue to develop consistently. As a follow-up to this activity, a sustainable mentoring strategy is needed so that the understanding and skills that have been acquired do not just stop at the level of knowledge, but can be implemented in real life in the KWT's daily activities. This mentoring can include monitoring the group's financial records, facilitating access to microfinance institutions, and training in building partnerships with external parties such as government, academics, and the private sector. With structured mentoring, KWT is expected to be able to build a transparent and accountable financial management system and support the growth of sustainable, productive businesses. This aligns with efforts to strengthen women's independence in the agricultural sector while contributing to the welfare of families and the wider community.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, playing a role not only in job creation but also in maintaining national economic stability. However, amidst the rapid development of the digital era, MSMEs face significant challenges in adopting technology to expand market reach and increase the competitiveness of local products. This research seeks to identify and develop simple innovations in designing effective digital promotional content, with a case study of the Alisa Khadijah Community of the ICMI South Tambun Branch. The analysis focuses on the actual conditions of MSMEs, the application of simple innovations in business processes and products, and digital promotional strategies that suit the characteristics of modern consumers. Through surveys and observations, it was found that the use of quality visuals, interactive elements, narrative storytelling, and internal collaboration can have a positive impact on increasing consumer visibility and engagement. The results show that most MSMEs that implement this content strategy experience a significant increase in digital interactions and product sales in a relatively short time. Furthermore, collaboration with the Cooperatives & MSMEs Office and educational institutions is a crucial factor in accelerating digital transformation, as it can provide access to technical assistance and training. Based on these findings, this study recommends the formation of innovation teams at the community level, the holding of ongoing workshops, and the development of collaborative platforms to share best practices and develop business networks. With the right approach, MSMEs can not only adapt to the digital era but also have the potential to expand their business scale and increase their competitiveness in the global market, thereby further strengthening their contribution to the Indonesian economy. This study recommends the formation of innovation teams within communities, practical workshops, and the development of collaborative platforms to increase MSME competitiveness in the digital market.

The increasing international awareness of environmental issues has had a significant impact on business orientation in various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In the fashion industry, MSMEs are not only required to create innovations in product design and quality, but are also directed to adopt environmentally friendly practices that support sustainability throughout their business processes, from production to marketing. This study aims to examine in depth how the integration of green business strategies and sustainable marketing contributes to increasing the competitive advantage of fashion MSMEs in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 fashion MSME respondents selected based on relevant criteria. Data processing was carried out through multiple linear regression analysis accompanied by classical assumption tests with the help of SPSS software, so that the research results have a strong empirical basis. The research findings indicate a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, between the implementation of green business strategies and sustainable marketing on achieving competitive advantage. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.52 indicates that the two independent variables are able to explain more than half of the variation in competitive advantage possessed by MSMEs. The implications of these results confirm that the success of MSMEs no longer depends solely on product innovation, but also on the ability to integrate sustainability aspects into internal practices and external strategies. This research enriches the literature on sustainable management, particularly in the context of MSMEs in non-urban areas, while also providing practical input for the formulation of business assistance policies that are adaptive to market dynamics and increasingly complex environmental challenges. This research provides theoretical contributions to the literature on sustainable management in the context of MSMEs in non-urban areas, as well as practical implications for the development of business assistance policies that are more adaptive to environmental challenges.
