This study aims to explore the perceptions of young people toward a career as Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers amidst dynamic social and cultural changes. The declining interest in this profession is not solely driven by economic and social status concerns but is also influenced by digitalization, secularization, and a lack of vocational formation from families and churches. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through literature review and in-depth interviews with church youth and theology students. The findings reveal that young people still hold potential interest in this vocation when supported by strong theological narratives, integrated mentoring strategies, and 21st-century skills. This research recommends the revitalization of holistic and contextual Christian education systems to address contemporary challenges and rekindle youth interest in pursuing a career as CRE teachers.

Pulmonary function disorders are commonly underdiagnosed health issues, especially in urban areas with high air pollution and prevalent smoking habits. Early detection through spirometry plays a crucial role in the promotion and prevention of respiratory diseases such as asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, public awareness and access to spirometry remain limited, including in the Tanjung Duren Selatan subdistrict of West Jakarta. This community service program was conducted using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle management approach. The target population consisted of productive-age residents willing to participate in health education and lung function screening. Spirometry examinations were conducted alongside interactive counseling about respiratory health and risk factors. Evaluation was carried out through spirometry results and participant satisfaction surveys. A total of 92 participants took part in the activity, consisting of 70 females (76.1%) and 22 males (23.9%), with a mean age of 43.78 years (SD ±12.93). The average Vital Capacity (VC) was 2.26 L, Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) was 2.13 L, and Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 Second (FEV1) was 1.95 L. The mean FEV1/FVC ratio was 107.12%, with 100% of participants showing normal lung function. This activity demonstrates that spirometry is an effective tool for monitoring lung function and increasing community awareness. Similar screening initiatives should be expanded to support early detection of respiratory disorders at the community level.

This article analyzes the dynamics of the relationship between customs and the church in Bone Village, particularly the GMIT Jemaat Lopomaus Bone Church, in facing contemporary spiritual challenges, as well as its impact on the faith development of young people. Using a mixed-method research approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with customary leaders, church leaders, representatives of parents, and youth leaders, as well as participatory observation. The research findings indicate that there has been strong harmony and collaboration between customs and the church since the arrival of Christianity, which contributes to the resolution of social issues and cultural preservation through social media. However, the nurturing of young people's faith faces significant obstacles such as the lack of special church programs, limited human resources (HR) in understanding faith, and the absence of a permanent pastor. Youth initiatives and support from teachers in 2023 have become turning points that drive the participation of parents and the congregation. This article recommends the need for an increase in structured faith development programs, strengthening of human resources, and serious efforts to have a permanent pastor to optimize the role of the church in shaping the spirituality of the younger generation in the midst of strong customary traditions.

Worship leadership training represents a strategic initiative in nurturing the spiritual character of Christian students from their adolescent years. This program was implemented at SMA Hidup Baru Ciumbeluit in March 2023, with the primary objective of equipping students to lead worship services independently and responsibly. The training employed a hands-on, experiential approach, granting students the opportunity to design and lead complete worship sessions. The outcomes demonstrated notable improvements in self-confidence, coordination skills, and the students’ comprehension of Christian liturgical structure. Furthermore, the program served as a platform for character formation, instilling values such as discipline, collaboration, and servant-oriented leadership. This article explores the theological, educational, and psychological dimensions of student involvement in worship leadership. The initiative proved to be an effective model for preparing the younger generation to actively engage in ministry, both within the school environment and in broader ecclesial and community contexts. As such, similar training programs are recommended to be conducted regularly as an integral part of faith development and discipleship for Christian youth.

Corruption is a structural problem that continues to hamper development and equitable welfare in Indonesia. The data sources used consist of 13 national scientific journals, 3 reports from non-governmental organizations (ICW, KPK, TII), and 4 credible mass media outlets (Kompas, Tempo, CNBC Indonesia, and BBC Indonesia) published between 2019 and 2025. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the consistency and institutional challenges in anti-corruption efforts, as well as to recommend strengthening the integrity system in public policy governance in the future. Based on an analysis of three strategic cases—e-KTP, COVID-19 social assistance, and the free lunch program—the role of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) shows a transformation from a repressive approach to a more preventive and systemic one. In the e-KTP and social assistance cases, the KPK emphasized its strong law enforcement function, while in the free lunch program, the KPK positioned itself as a strategic supervisor from the planning stage to prevent potential irregularities.

This journal explores the role of the Church Unity Body in strengthening the unity of Christian faith. The Church, as the body of Christ composed of various members from diverse backgrounds and traditions, is called to unite in one faith, one teaching, and one way of life aligned with the teachings of Christ. This unity is crucial for maintaining harmony within the community of believers and for addressing social and theological challenges in the modern world. The role of the Church Unity Body is evident through Bible teaching based on enduring truth, participation in sacraments such as Holy Communion and Baptism, as well as collaboration among churches in social service and mission. In this context, the church functions not only as a place of worship but also as a community that supports spiritual growth and the well-being of its members. The unity of Christian faith requires mutual respect, forgiveness, and humility among church members. By strengthening this unity, the church can provide a clearer testimony to the world, demonstrating that in Christ, differences can be reconciled in love that transcends all. This article also highlights the importance of the church’s role in building a unity of faith that goes beyond denominational boundaries, within the framework of ecumenism, to realize the wholeness of the body of Christ and bring about transformation in the world.

The era of technological disruption, driven by the economic logic of "surveillance capitalism," has created a fragmenting digital architecture. The "filter bubble" or "echo chambers" mechanism algorithmically isolates individuals, exacerbated by a psychological condition of being "alone together" wherein individuals actively engage in a "flight from conversation." This convergence of algorithmic and psychological isolation has fueled an "age of outrage" and extreme social polarization. This crisis is fundamentally theological, as it reduces the dignity of the Imago Dei (image of God) to mere exploitable computational data. This research employs a qualitative library study method with a critical-analytical approach to analyze this phenomenon and propose a reconstruction of Christian leadership theology. This article argues that Christian leaders must develop a new theological competency termed "Digital Wisdom." This wisdom is rooted in a holistic theology that resists dualistic fragmentation. This reconstruction is embodied in the leader's role as spiritual (placing the Word of God as authority over algorithms), educational (building digital ethics and combating disinformation), integrity-based (rejecting partisan outrage), and humanistic (reaffirming the primacy of physical encounter and authentic relationship).
