Desa Penanggungan, Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto, Provinsi Jawa Timur is a village that has great potential to become a tourist destination because of its beautiful natural scenery. For this reason, the village government and local residents built the Wisata Agro Lembah Kecubung which is still in the development stage. Therefore, as a tourist attraction that has just started and is not yet known to many people, supporting tools are needed to attract public attention to the existence of the Lembah Kecubung, one of which is by using character or mascot designs. This mascot design method begins with data collection through surveys and interviews. Then it continues with the creative process which refers to Brown's design thought theory, including the emphatize, define, ideate, prototype and test stages. The result of this design is an alternative mascot design inspired by the shape of the Javanese Serak owl which is designed using farmer attributes, such as hats, towels and rice scythes.

The increasing incidence of sexual violence and bullying against children and adolescents has become a serious social problem that requires active involvement from all elements of society, particularly families. This community service program aims to strengthen the role of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) organization in Rimba Sekampung Sub-district as the frontline in preventing and addressing sexual violence and adolescent bullying. The methods applied include socialization and persuasive educational approaches through counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and case consultations involving PKK members as community partners. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ knowledge, awareness, and social sensitivity regarding the forms, causes, and impacts of sexual violence and bullying among adolescents. Furthermore, the program enhances the capacity of PKK members to foster family resilience and create a safe, harmonious, and value-based family environment to support sustainable child and adolescent protection.

Community empowerment is a fundamental pillar of national development aimed at enhancing social welfare, social justice, and active public participation in the development process. This Community Service Program aims to strengthen community understanding and capacity, particularly among women members of the PKK organization in Rimba Sekampung Village, regarding the strategic role of community empowerment as a national development priority. The activity was conducted on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Jalan Belimbing, Rimba Sekampung Village, Dumai City. The implementation method employed socialization through counseling and persuasive guidance using a non-formal and participatory educational approach. The program focuses on women's empowerment, community participation in development, and the prevention of social issues such as sexual violence and bullying among children and adolescents. The results indicate an improvement in participants' awareness, understanding, and active involvement during discussions, as well as a strengthened commitment to act as agents of change within their communities. This program contributes positively to reinforcing the role of women as strategic partners of the government in promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable national development.

Manggihan Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency, which is at the foot of Mount Merbabu, is close to the Kopeng tourist destination area. This village has a population that has professional business owners in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) category in the culinary sector which makes cracker rambak, processed dry food with various types of chips And processed catfish food. The problem faced in their business is that they do not yet have a product identity in the packaging such as sticker labels, packaging that attracts potential buyers, so the message of the product has not been conveyed. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and awareness for MSMEs about the importance of product packaging that attracts potential buyers thereby providing added value and competitive advantage for the products produced. The method used in this service is holding socialization activities on the importance of product branding, training, and assistance in making sticker labels and food product packaging design. In the mentoring process, a needs analysis is first carried out including the type of packaging material, packaging shape, packaging identity color, and product logo. It is hoped that the output targets that will be achieved through this program will help partner MSMEs increase the amount of income from sales by using new packaging and product logos designed in such a way that they are attractive to buyers. The product packaging and labels produced as the output of this activity can become an identity. a typical Manggihan Village product that differentiates it from similar products in other areas  

This article examines the provision of legal protection to workers who violate work contract agreements through the Bintan Regency Manpower Service. The case study was conducted at PT. Sumber Izum Mas Perkasa Bintan. This paper aims to analyze the legal protection of workers in violation of employment contracts against workers' rights and the effectiveness of legal protection provided by the Manpower Service, as well as providing recommendations for improving worker protection regarding employment contract agreements in the Bintan Region. This research was conducted in a qualitative descriptive manner, namely describing the results of interviews, observations and direct observations, as well as using literature studies through relevant sites and articles. The results of this research require increasing legal awareness in companies and workers. Apart from that, the Manpower Department needs to strengthen law enforcement to prevent violations of employment contracts.

This community service program aims to raise awareness and knowledge about the importance of consuming vegetables and fruits among school children at UPT SDN 060831. Through a series of educational activities including lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practices, the program strives to instill healthy eating habits in students. The approach employed involves enjoyable and participatory learning methods to ensure that students not only understand the nutritional benefits of vegetables and fruits but are also motivated to change their eating patterns. The results of this program show a significant increase in students' nutritional knowledge and positive changes in their vegetable and fruit consumption behavior. Additionally, this program is expected to have a long-term impact in creating a school environment that more strongly supports healthy eating habits.

Health education about Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) aims to improve the understanding and awareness of adolescent girls at MTSN 1 Rantau Selatan regarding the symptoms, causes, and management of PMS. This research was conducted in January 2025 using an educational and interactive method, which included presentations, discussions, simulations, and distribution of educational materials. The results of the outreach showed a significant improvement in the participants' knowledge about PMS, as well as a positive shift in their attitudes toward the condition. Before the intervention, most participants were unaware of PMS symptoms and appropriate management strategies. After the session, they became more open to discussing menstruation-related issues and better equipped to manage PMS symptoms healthily. However, some participants still require ongoing support to implement techniques such as acupressure and light exercises. This program is expected to reduce stigma surrounding PMS and improve the reproductive health of adolescent girls at MTSN 1 Rantau Selatan.

. Background : Diarrhea is deflation with washy or half washy feces more than usual, more than 200 gram or 200 ml/24 hours or washy defecation with/with out mucus and blood. Most of death in diarrhea suspected cause of lack of community knowledge, especially mother, about prevention and management of diarrhea. Some research found that hand wash with soap can trim the number of diarrhea patiens. Parents’ Knowledge and awareness to their toddler’s health problem very important so that toddler stay healthy and avoid from diarrhea. Health Care Inpatient Sidomulyo is a health care for community who live in Tampan District. Based on Department if Health Riau Province in January 2017 there are 226 cases of diarrhea in toddlers that consist of 139 cases of diarrhea in toddler boys and 87 cases of diarrhea in toddler girls. Tampan District has the highest incidence in toddlers in January 2017. Objective : To know the correlation mother’s knowledge about diarrhea and hand wash behavior with incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in Health Care Inpatient Sidomulyo, Pekanbaru City. Method : This study is using analytic correlation observational study with cross-sectional approach. Way to get the sample using Accidental Sampling technic. Data obtained then analyzed using Spearman.Result : There is a significan correlation between mother’s knowledge about diarrhea with incidence of diarrhea on toddlers in Health Care Inpatient Sidomulyo with p value <0,05 is 0,015 and significant correlation between mother’s hand wash behavior with incidence  of diarrhea in toddlers in Health Care Inpatient Sidomulyo with p value <0,05 is 0,001. Conclusion : There is significant correlation between mother’s knowledge about diarrhea and mother’s hand wash behavior to incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in Health Care Inpatient Sidomulyo

Plastic waste is one of the serious environmental problems in Indonesia. Plastic waste not only pollutes the environment, but also has a negative impact on human and animal health. One way to overcome this problem is by utilizing plastic waste into trash bins that can be reused. The purpose of this study is to conduct socialization on the utilization of plastic waste into trash bins to the community in one of the villages in Gresik Regency. This socialization was carried out with students as a form of community service. The method used in this socialization was lecture, discussion, and practice. The results of this socialization showed that the village community had a high interest and enthusiasm for utilizing plastic waste into trash bins. They also felt helped and inspired by this activity. This socialization ran smoothly and received a positive response from the community. This study contributes to the development of science, technology, and environment, as well as improving the skills and social awareness of students.

This service aims to implement a socialization program for processing organic and inorganic waste using learning media for elementary school students. Through active involvement in media-based learning activities, students are given a deeper understanding of the importance of waste management for the environment. This method is designed to increase ecological awareness and motivate active participation in environmental conservation efforts from an early age. The results of this program show an increase in students' understanding over time, as well as engaging them in simple waste management practices at school and home. It is hoped that this outreach can become the basis for forming sustainable behaviour in the younger generation, creating positive changes in their actions towards the environment.  

Managing family finances is not easy, but it is also not difficult if we know how. Good family financial management is the key to a family's success. Both husband and wife have responsibility for managing family finances, so husband and wife must be able to manage expenses well. For the financial scope in a family, financial management is mostly carried out by a wife as someone who is responsible for managing the household. Having a role as family financial manager, a wife must have knowledge about managing family finances. Starting from recording routine expenses, knowing the family's short, medium and long term needs, to setting aside for future savings. The results achieved through the training provided can increase understanding of family financial planning, participants are also able to make financial plans that are useful in managing household finances. This training is able to increase the training participants' awareness of the importance of family financial planning, then increase the training participants' motivation to create or prepare a budget, save and invest in managing finances. Training participants are able to prepare and simulate financial management in the process of preparing financial planning from the total income they have and the budget allocation that must be made to make it easier for families to manage their finances.

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic education in shaping the characters of students in the digital era. The study involves a literature review by exploring research findings and relevant articles, and identifying implications for the field of education. The results indicate that Islamic education plays a significant role in shaping the characters of students in the digital era. In the context of the digital era, Islamic education not only teaches religious values but also involves the learning of ethics and morality for students. This study reveals that Islamic education can teach students about moral values, develop digital ethics, and foster spiritual awareness in the use of technology. The implications of this study include curriculum development that encompasses ethical and moral aspects of technology use, teacher training in teaching digital ethics and responsible technology use, and partnerships with parents in shaping students' characters in the digital era. This research is important to be known and understood by educational institutions and teachers so they can develop effective strategies in shaping responsible, ethical, and integrity-based characters of students in this digital era. In a connected and digitalized era, it is crucial to integrate Islamic moral and ethical values into education to enable students to use technology wisely and responsibly.

Karang Taruna is a youth organization in society which is used as a place for the growth and development of the young generation, which is based on awareness and social responsibility in society in the local area. In interacting between humans, good communication is certainly needed so that the message we want to convey to the person we are talking to can be received and easily understood. The method of this service is lecture and discussion. The informants or subjects in this service are members of the youth organization who are residents of Dukuh Brajan, Sindon Village. The result of this service is that public speaking outreach can provide benefits for the young people of Dukuh Brajan in forming and developing themselves. The conclusion from the service carried out by the author is that public speaking outreach can be an effort to develop the potential of the young people of Dukuh Brajan

Environmental cleanliness is one of the benchmarks of the quality of life of the community. A clean environment is everyone's dream. But it is not easy to create our environment can look clean and tidy so that it is comfortable to look at. Many slogans invite us to maintain cleanliness and safety. But in reality, we still litter. This community service is a work program of KKN Islamic University of Batik Surakarta in collaboration with Banaran Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. Community service is carried out by doing social service work through river cleaning activities. The purpose of this social service activity is expected to motivate the community to be more concerned about maintaining environmental cleanliness so that the environment becomes clean and the community can avoid various diseases.

This study aims to determine the prevalence of refractive errors in children with Down Syndrome in eye examination activities carried out during Down Syndrome Awareness Month 2023 by the East Java Association of Parents of Children with Down Syndrome (PIK POTADS). A total of 30 children with Down Syndrome underwent eye examinations, and the results showed that 18 children (72%) had myopia, 7 children (28%) had astigmatism, and 5 children were indicated to require further referral to a pediatric ophthalmologist. These results indicate that children with Down Syndrome have a high risk of experiencing refractive errors, so regular eye examinations and medical follow-up are needed.

Due to the fetus's expansion in the uterus, the mother's pelvic joints are slightly more mobile, resulting in back pain. Additionally, the shoulders are pulled back and the lumbar spine is more curved, both of which increase spinal joint flexibility. To overcome back pain, one effort that can be done is pregnancy exercise. The goal of this volunteer project is to develop a unified strategy for preventing and treating pregnancy-related back pain by educating the public about the issue. Implementation in community service activities on October 3, 2023 at 09:00 - 12:00 WIB has been followed by pregnant women totaling 10 pregnant women, with the average results of knowledge before counseling amounting to 52.5 and after counseling amounting to 89.0 it is concluded that overall counseling participants with good knowledge. It is hoped that by raising awareness of pregnancy exercises, particularly among pregnant women, this event will help to reduce the number of back pain complaints in the community. Health Education is a topic that is explored in both theory and practice during these events. With this program, it is hoped that pregnant women can do pregnancy exercises so that complaints of back pain and other complaints can be reduced. This journal discusses efforts to increase knowledge about the importance of halal certification as a strategy to increase the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banjarnegara Regency. Halal certification is a key factor in expanding market access and increasing consumer confidence. The aim of this research is to increase the understanding of the MSME group in Banjarnegara Regency regarding the basic concept of halal certification, its significance in the context of business competitiveness, and its positive impact on local economic growth. The method of increasing knowledge involves outreach activities and workshops directly to MSME groups. The results are expected to have a positive impact on increasing awareness and implementation of halal certification among MSMEs, which in turn will contribute to increasing competitiveness and economic growth in Banjarnegara Regency.

This research discusses the role of mediation models in handling conflicts between students in the school environment. Conflict between students can affect their academic and social well-being, as well as the overall climate at school. The mediation model has been identified as a potential approach to resolve such conflicts in a constructive and inclusive manner. This research involves implementing a mediation model in a school as a conflict resolution strategy. This research aims to find out how the mediation model is implemented in managing student conflicts at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive approach using interview instruments, documentation and literature study. The subjects of this research were the principal and students at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember. The results of the research show that conflicts between students that often occur are truancy, dating, violence and bullying. The results of the mediation services carried out by the school show that there is student awareness, an attitude of peace, and the re-establishment of harmonious relationships between students and parents. The mediation service provided by the school can be said to be effective, because all parties starting from students, teachers, homeroom teachers, guidance counselors, parents and school principals participate in conflict resolution.

Medicinal plants are plants with positive pharmacological effects on the human body and are usually grown on a home or communal scale. These medicinal plants can then be used as traditional medicine which can be made easily. The plants chosen are usually plants that can be used to treat simple health problems such as flu and coughs. Medicinal plants can increase the body's immunity because they can prevent disease through the secondary metabolites they contain. In this service activity, two activities were carried out separately, namely socialization and planting medicinal plants with residents. The outreach was carried out to provide information to the residents of Medan Helvetia District regarding medicinal plants so that these medicinal plants can be useful after being planted. Planting is also carried out to increase awareness regarding land use, as well as being a starting point for residents in cultivating medicinal plants. This socialization on the use of family medicinal plants aims to provide information to the people of Kexamatan Medan Helvetia in using medicinal plants. It is hoped that this community service activity will help increase public knowledge about the importance of planting and utilizing medicinal plants to create a healthy society.
