Urban mobility in Surabaya faces serious challenges due to the high ownership of private vehicles and the low use of public transportation. The Surabaya City Government launched Suroboyo Bus Electric in November 2024 as a sustainable transportation innovation on the Purabaya–ITS route. This study aims to analyze commuter preferences for the Suroboyo Bus Electric mode over private vehicles, by emphasizing functional factors (cost, travel time, comfort) and symbolic factors (status, identity, modern image). The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach with 400 respondents, primary data was obtained through questionnaires, while secondary data came from government documents and literature. The analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of respondents chose Suroboyo Bus Electric as the main mode (62%), with the dominance of young, middle-income users, and mostly women. Most of the respondents have one unit of private vehicle, but still use electric buses as a mode of complementing mobility. Travel destinations are dominated by social, economic, and educational activities, with an average travel time of 16–30 minutes. In terms of cost, more than half of the respondents spent Rp 5,000-Rp 10,000 per trip, indicating the affordability of fares. Symbolic factors also play an important role, where Suroboyo Bus Electric is perceived as a modern, clean, and sustainable city identity.

This study aims to develop a predictive model using linear regression to identify potential arrhythmias in the elderly based on electrocardiogram (ECG) data. Data were collected through observations at healthcare facilities from elderly patients with indications of arrhythmia, then preprocessed such as cleaning, normalization, feature selection, and outlier checking were carried out. The features used include PR interval, QRS duration, QT interval, and heart rate. The dataset was divided into training data (80%) and test data (20%) to build and evaluate the model. The training results showed that the model was able to predict the risk of arrhythmia with a Mean Squared Error (MSE) value of 0.15 and a coefficient of determination (R²) close to 1. Evaluation using a confusion matrix showed an accuracy of 76.19%, precision of 82.80%, recall of 76.19%, and F1 score of 72.70%. These results prove that linear regression can be used as an initial approach in the early detection of arrhythmias non-invasively in the elderly. This study provides a foundation for the development of ECG data-based clinical decision support systems and suggests future exploration of more complex models and integration with real-time monitoring technologies.

A prenuptial agreement is a legal instrument that functions to separate the assets between husband and wife, both assets that existed before and those acquired during the marriage. However, in practice, the implementation of prenuptial agreements often raises issues in cases of divorce, especially when one party maintains control over assets that are legally owned by the other party. This study aims to examine the legal considerations of the judge in Decision Number 490/Pdt.G/2024/PN Cbi between Trisiana Waty versus Lim Cipto Halim, which relates to claims of ownership over assets after divorce as regulated in the prenuptial agreement. This study uses a normative legal research method with statute, conceptual, and case approaches. Data were obtained through analysis of court decision documents, legislation, and legal doctrines from experts. The research results indicate that the judge considering the existence of a prenuptial agreement as evidence of lawful separation of assets in accordance with Article 29 of Law No. 1 of 1974, but rejecting the lawsuit because there is still a case concerning the division of joint property in the Serang District Court that has not yet obtained permanent legal force. Thus, the prenuptial agreement is recognized as a binding legal norm, but its application remains subject to the principles of legal certainty and non-contradiction of decisions within the Indonesian civil court system.

This study discusses the position of women in the creation of humankind based on Amina Wadud's feminist hermeneutics perspective as an effort to critique classical interpretations of the Qur'an that tend to be gender biased. For centuries, the tradition of interpretation dominated by male exegetes has shaped a theological understanding that places women in a subordinate and inferior position, especially in the narrative of human creation. Amina Wadud, as one of the contemporary Muslim feminists, offers a feminist hermeneutics approach that emphasizes the importance of historical context, linguistic analysis, and women's experiences in understanding the Qur'anic text in a more fair and comprehensive manner. This study specifically examines Wadud's interpretation of QS. An-Nisa 'verse 1, which states that humans were created from nafsun wahidah (one soul). Wadud asserts that this concept indicates the equality of origin between men and women, thereby rejecting the patriarchal view that women were created from men's ribs as second-class beings. The research method used was qualitative with a literature study approach, through analysis of Amina Wadud's works and relevant academic literature. The results of the study show that Wadud's feminist hermeneutics not only serves as a critique of classical interpretations that are laden with patriarchal bias, but also provides a strong theological basis for the recognition of gender equality in Islam. This approach opens up space for women to play an equal role in the social, political, and religious spheres. Thus, Amina Wadud's thinking contributes significantly to building a more inclusive, egalitarian, and gender-equitable understanding of Islam in accordance with the universal values of the Qur'an.

The growing interest in learning the Japanese language in Indonesia, driven by popular culture such as anime, creates a need to understand the effectiveness of different learning media. The non-uniform effectiveness of media for each individual poses a major challenge. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of both anime and textbooks by segmenting learner profiles and identifying key determinants of success using an artificial intelligence approach. This research employed a quantitative method through a questionnaire survey of 120 respondents. The data were analyzed in two stages: the K-Means Clustering algorithm was used to group respondents into learner profiles, and the Decision Tree algorithm was used to identify the most significant factors that differentiate these profiles. The analysis successfully identified three distinct learner profiles: "Intensive & Adaptive Learner," "Flexible Learner," and "Passive Learner." The decision tree revealed that the perception of textbook effectiveness and the frequency of anime use are the strongest predictors in determining a learner's profile, more so than theoretical learning style preferences. It is concluded that media effectiveness is highly dependent on the learner's behavioral and perceptual profile, which underscores the importance of a personalized approach in language education technology.

The National Public Transportation Driver Behavior and Competency Assessment System is a system designed to assess driver behavior and competence in order to improve the quality of service and safety of public transportation in Indonesia. The main problem in this study is the less than optimal testing of the program logic as a whole which has the potential to cause system errors in providing assessment results. Therefore, this study aims to apply the Path Testing method in White Box Testing to evaluate and ensure that all logic paths in the system have been completely tested and produce output as expected. The method used is Path Testing, which is a code-based testing approach that focuses on identifying and testing all independent paths in the program control structure. This process is carried out by analyzing the flowchart and control flow graph (CFG) of the system being tested, then designing and executing test cases based on the paths obtained. The test results show that the Path Testing approach is able to reveal program paths that were previously undetected by ordinary functional testing. This test successfully ensures that each branch of the system logic works correctly according to specifications. These findings confirm that the use of the Path Testing-based White Box Testing technique is very effective in improving system reliability and accuracy. The conclusion of this study is that the systematic application of Path Testing is able to improve software quality, prevent logical errors in the assessment process, and guarantee objective, accurate evaluation results in the national public transportation driver assessment system.

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic behavior modification strategies through reward implementation on improving children's discipline in early spiritual activities at TK Unggulan An-Nur Surabaya. A quantitative approach was used with the Equivalent Time Sample Design involving 13 children aged 5–6 years. Observations were conducted over three weeks using indicators such as punctuality, attentiveness in prayer sessions, neat sitting, and memorization of short surahs and prayers. The results showed an increase in discipline scores during the first and second weeks when rewards were given, but a decline in the third week when rewards were withheld. These findings indicate that Islamic behavior modification strategies through rewards significantly improve young children’s discipline. Additionally, the effectiveness of the strategy depends on each child’s characteristics and the consistency of reward implementation. The findings support Skinner's reinforcement theory, asserting that positive behavior can be cultivated through proper reinforcement, particularly within the context of Islamic early childhood education.
