Public service is crucial for fulfilling community basic needs, particularly in healthcare. Puskesmas Porong, a healthcare institution in Sidoarjo District, serves as the primary focus of this study. With a vision to provide quality and professional healthcare services to the community, Puskesmas Porong plays a pivotal role as the primary healthcare center in Porong Subdistrict. Despite adequate facilities including 46 inpatient beds and coverage of 10 surrounding villages, challenges persist. High patient influx poses significant issues such as long waiting times for services, attributed to insufficient staff and resources. Moreover, limited community participation in providing feedback is a concern, hindering the identification of issues and optimal solutions for healthcare service improvement. This qualitative research aims to analyze healthcare service quality at Puskesmas Porong, employing interviews with key stakeholders including the head of the health center, medical staff, administrative personnel, and patients. Additionally, observation and documentation methods were utilized to gather comprehensive data on service provision, patient satisfaction, and facility conditions. Results reveal that while operational procedures are generally adhered to, discrepancies exist between management perceptions and patient experiences. Patients highlight shortcomings in BPJS utilization, medical equipment adequacy, and diagnostic accuracy, underscoring the need for targeted improvements to enhance service quality and community trust.

This community service focuses on participatory planning of thematic parks at the Kampoeng Semawis Housing Complex, Semarang. This area has great potential to be developed into a useful public space, but currently the existing green open space is still less than optimal in its use. The focus of this service is to create a thematic park that not only functions as a green open space, but also as a place for social interaction and education for residents. The main issue faced is the lack of community involvement in planning and managing public spaces, which results in a lack of sense of ownership and concern for existing facilities. Through a participatory approach, this program aims to increase citizen participation in planning and managing public spaces. It is hoped that with this thematic park, the level of citizen participation in maintaining and utilizing public spaces will increase, which will ultimately improve the quality of life for the residents of Kampoeng Semawis. This community service aims to examine the participatory planning process for thematic parks in Kampoeng Semawis and its impact on community participation and the quality of life of local residents. It is hoped that the results of this program can become a model for the development of public space in other residential areas in Semarang.

With the physical development of cities and industrial areas, as well as the development of transportation facilities, air quality also experiences changes in the composition of the atmosphere compared to normal conditions, which is characterized by the entry of polluting materials. Gasses and small particles/aerosols enter the air in constant quantities over long periods of time and affect not only human life but also animal and plant life. Currently, the development of electric vehicles in urban areas such as Indonesia and the Special Capital Region (DKJ) of course causes problems in the transportation system, also causes damage to common land by various interests and disrupts the existing air quality and also affects the atmosphere when pollution occurs.  Transportation is the largest contributor to air pollution, namely around 85%, because transportation is a proven source of emissions. Therefore, law enforcement efforts to improve the transportation sector without ignoring other sectors, including strategic actions, must be prioritized.  The number of buses and trains has also increased.  It will also control the number of private cars and improve much of the public transportation system.

Implementation of Klampid New Generation (KNG) as an innovation in population administration services in the city of Surabaya. KNG is an online website that facilitates the management of population documents online, such as ID cards, family cards, birth certificates, and others. Through the Internship and Independent Study Certificate (MSIB) program, researchers were directly involved as Population Administration Service Assistants at the Surabaya City Village Office. Observations and active participation were carried out to collect primary data from village officials and the community. The research results show that although KNG is intended to facilitate independent document management, many residents still prefer to use village office services. This is due to a lack of socialization and public understanding about the use of KNG. In addition, there are also obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure in the village office that can hinder service performance. This research recommends the need for more intensive socialization and assistance to the community, as well as improving facilities at the village office to optimize the implementation of KNG in creating better population administration order in the city of Surabaya.

Green open space (RTH) utilization is an important part of spatial planning in Sidoarjo Regency. In urban ecosystems, public green spaces are open areas designed for recreation, nature conservation and greening in urban environments. According to Local Regulation No. 6/2009 on the 2009-2029 Sidoarjo District Spatial Plan (RTRW), public green open space (RTH) is designed for recreation, nature conservation and greening. RTH is an important component of Sidoarjo District's spatial planning, especially in urban ecosystems The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of compliance of RTH utilization in Tanjung Puri Park with the provisions of Sidoarjo District Spatial Plan No. 6/2009. This evaluation was conducted to support sustainable development in Sidoarjo Regency. The results of this study provide the fact that, Green Open Space (RTH) Taman Tanjung Puri does not meet the standards of the Sidoarjo Regency Spatial Plan properly. This is due to the type of green space and its function not in accordance with the plan, as well as the lack of infrastructure and facilities. On the other hand, Tanjung Puri Park is still underutilized as a public space. This situation is also caused by a lack of budget, management facilities and infrastructure, poor public understanding of the park's existence and purpose, and low community involvement. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the potential of Tanjung Puri Park as a public space is hampered by a lack of planning. Taman Tanjung Puri has great potential to provide various environmental, social, and economic benefits, but it’s utilization has not been optimal due to the lack of supporting facilities, inconsistent maintenance, low community participation, and fragmented management being the inhibiting factors.

In the current era of globalization, regional autonomy has become a very important part of public services. There is a need to address the problems that arise in Sokawera Village regarding the lack of facilities and skill level of village officials with the demands of a more dynamic community and an archival processing system that is still conventional. With the conveniences provided, it encourages people to utilize information and communication technology to help with their daily activities. The village government does not yet have a website address. This means that the information held by the village cannot be accessed by the wider community, causing Sokawera Village to still be very underdeveloped. In the era of increasingly advanced technology, a website-based information system can be implemented in Sokawera Village to overcome obstacles that can be used as a medium for village information and innovation. With the existence of a village information system in Sokawera Village, the community can directly access various kinds of information presented. Likewise, village officials can directly provide or update information related to the villages they support. All forms of information regarding purchasing products produced by local MSMEs can also be accessed on the village information system page. Hospitals are vital health facilities that aim to improve public health by providing high-quality health services. This study aims to evaluate nurses' compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in hospitals as an effort to prevent nosocomial infections. Through a literature review of various studies between 2021-2024, it was found that nurse compliance was influenced by knowledge, attitudes and availability of PPE. Good knowledge and positive attitudes towards PPE, as well as adequate accessibility of PPE, have been proven to increase nurse compliance. In addition, demographic characteristics such as age, gender, education, and years of service also influence compliance levels. In conclusion, improving compliance requires a multifactorial approach that includes continuing education, adequate facilities, and close supervision. Implementation of this strategy is important to prevent nosocomial infections and improve the quality of health services in hospitals.
