The clinic's process for requesting a consultation with a doctor and receiving a queue number is inefficient. To help patients make the most of their time at the clinic, it is helpful to provide them with information on when physicians will be available to see them. A new approach to health development governance is required under Regulation No. 21 of 2020 of the Republic of Indonesia's Minister of Health, which addresses the Ministry's Strategic Plan for 2020–2024. This plan encompasses health information systems, research integration, and development, among other areas. First, Health Technology Transformation, which includes developing and integrating health data; second, Health Service Application Integration and Development; and third, Health Technology Ecosystem Development, will house the primary activities involved in health technology transformation. This study's findings suggest that consumers are mostly interested in finding hospitals in close proximity to their homes, rather than using the doctor's appointment component of the KlikDokter app. Because of this, KlikDokter has to implement a change movement that can increase the number of health facilities that operate with Klik Doctor, allowing it to reach the closest health facility. It also has to link insurance and BPJS so that health facilities may provide transaction features.

Health services in Indonesia are one of the many components of the health system that have direct contact with the community. The quality of health services is so important because it makes it easier for people to carry out health checks. Patient satisfaction can also be obtained from the quality of health services received from the health center. The quality of services provided to service recipients can affect their satisfaction with the health services provided by service providers. This study aimed to determine the relationship between each dimension of the quality of health services and patient satisfaction at the Sail Health Center in Pekanbaru City. This research is included in quantitative research with an analytic survey and cross-sectional study approach. The number of samples in this study was 95 outpatients at the Sail Health Center in Pekanbaru City. According to the statistical results of the Fisher's Exact test, there is a relationship between the quality of health services and outpatient satisfaction at the Sail Health Center, Pekanbaru City. Suggestions that can be given are the allocation of health workers by duties and responsibilities, such as the number of health workers by duties and responsibilities and the need for Puskesmas Sail to conduct regular patient satisfaction surveys to evaluate the quality of services at Puskesmas Sail.

Patient safety includes safe care, risk assessment, risk management, and incident reporting. The most frequent patient safety incidents are falls, which rank second after medication errors. Objective: To analyze the knowledge and compliance of nurses in implementing prevention for patients at risk of falls in the inpatient room at PKU Muhammadiyah Kartasura Hospital. Method: This research uses mixed methods, which combines collection, analysis and mixing of quantitative and qualitative data in one study. The research population was 20 nurses at the PKU Muhammadiyah Kartasura Hospital Inpatient Installation in 2024. Results: Respondents aged 26-35 years (45%), female (85%), last education was D-III Nursing (80%), and length of service 1-5 years (40%). Most respondents had a high level of knowledge (70%), and high compliance (80%). Nurses with poor knowledge who did not comply were 66.7%, while all nurses with good knowledge complied 100%. Chi-square analysis was 0.003, showing that compliance was influenced by level of knowledge, length of work, age, and self-awareness. Conclusion: A nurse's compliance cannot be separated from the nurse's level of knowledge in implementing risk prevention for patient falls. Apart from the level of knowledge, length of work and a person's age also greatly influence the implementation of risk prevention for patient falls, a person's lack of self-awareness can also influence a person's compliance to progress and be successful.

Patient safety in surgical procedures is a critical element that must be addressed by medical professionals, including anesthesiologists. The World Health Organization's (WHO) Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC) is designed to enhance patient safety during surgery, but its implementation still encounters several challenges, such as insufficient training and limited resources. This study aims to improve anesthesiologists’ understanding and compliance with the SSC through the use of educational video media. The research methods involved socialization, video-based training, hands-on practice, and evaluation with a participatory approach. The participants were anesthesiologists who received a structured training session using videos that explained the SSC steps and emphasized its importance. Pre- and post-training assessments were conducted to measure changes in understanding and compliance. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in both the anesthesiologists’ understanding and compliance with the SSC after the training. The average understanding score increased from 60.5 to 85.3, while compliance rose from 55.2 to 88.7. These findings indicate that educational videos are an effective tool for enhancing anesthesia service quality and increasing medical personnel’s access to training. Medical tourism is a new form of tourism and medical services by getting health services according to expectations to a certain area. In an effort to develop the health system and competition as well as the impact of health globalization, it is possible that medical tourism will lead to intense competition between hospitals in providing quality services and superior service products provided by these hospitals in attracting patients to come for treatment. Assessing the potential for the development of medical tourism in Indonesia and analyzing government regulations on the development of a medical tourism strategy in Indonesia. The method used is normative juridical, or legal research conducted by examining legal literature as primary material. Some things that must be considered in developing hospitals in Indonesia that have the potential to develop medical tourism services are tariffs, service quality, hospital accreditation, marketing, access to treatment from the aspect of transportation, availability of health workers and types of treatment. The central government, the ministry of health and local governments as policy or regulatory makers in terms of medical tourism in Indonesia play an important role. There needs to be regulations or policies that regulate matters related to medical tourism so that it is not just a discourse.

Traditional medicine in Indonesia faces significant challenges regarding patient protection and clear regulation in the context of consumer protection. Unlike modern medicine that follows a structured European model, traditional medicine often lacks consistent definition and clear regulatory mechanisms. Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health seeks to accommodate the diversity of healthcare systems in Indonesia, yet there are still shortcomings in the responsibility of health organizations for the standardization and supervision of traditional medicine. This research analyzes how patient protection in traditional healthcare services is viewed from a consumer protection perspective and examines the implementation of Law Number 17 of 2023. Findings indicate the need for further steps to develop robust mechanisms in standardization, address deficiencies in health organizations responsible, and balance communal interests with individual needs in traditional medicine. Thus, these efforts are expected to enhance patient protection and improve the safety and effectiveness of traditional medicine in Indonesia.

Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) are the main place for the public to get basic health services. In certain conditions, the Health Center will receive visits from patients who arrive with the same number of origins at the same time. This has an impact on health services experiencing a decline and not maximizing the health of health workers in checking patients' health. So, comprehensive services are not obtained, and there are even patients who queue for too long. In order to minimize this occurrence, simulations are carried out to predict the number of possible visits that will occur in the future. The method used in this study is Monte Carlo. This research is intended so that the information provided by the Health Center related to the prediction of the number of patient visits that are likely to occur in the next year or in the future can be done validly and accurately. The data used is data on the number of patient visits in 2021, 2022, and 2023. As a result of this study, a prediction of the number of patient visits was obtained so that the Health Center could implement the next action that was useful for improving the quality of services needed

Hospitals have an obligation to provide services in accordance with standard operating procedures for patient care, maintain patient safety and security, and provide accurate information. Incorrect medical treatment such as surgery on the side of the body that is not in accordance with the diagnosis can have a serious impact on the patient. The wrong side of the operation on the patient caused by the negligence of medical staff may result in legal liability for negligence. The hospital can be held responsible and obliged to provide compensation for the physical, emotional and financial losses suffered by the patient. If an incident occurs that harms the patient, the hospital may be subject to lawsuits. Hospitals must be legally responsible and take steps to improve the medical service system to improve quality and patient safety.

The phenomenon of globalization has transformed the world's landscape, connecting nations, and inspiring the concept of Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The utilization of Foreign National Health Workers (FHNWs) has become a strategy to address the shortage of medical personnel and enhance healthcare services, particularly in remote regions. However, the implementation of this policy also faces several ethical, cultural, and linguistic challenges. The ethical aspect takes center stage in the utilization of FHNWs. Patient rights, professionalism, and cross-cultural collaboration are crucial focal points in healthcare service practices. Despite its benefits, the utilization of FHNWs encounters communication hurdles, especially when the employed language is unfamiliar. Additionally, the integration of local cultural values becomes a pivotal aspect in delivering sensitive and patient-centered care. This paper analyzes policy documents related to the utilization of Foreign National Health Workers (FHNWs) in Indonesia through normative and predictive approaches. The objective is to comprehend the concepts and regulatory implementations concerning the ethics of FHNW utilization within the context of Indonesian healthcare services. The phenomena of globalization and efforts to expedite economic growth through Special Economic Zones (SEZs) have influenced these policies. The analysis involves various policy documents relevant to FHNW utilization. In facing the ethical dilemmas arising in the practice of healthcare services by foreign medical personnel, it is imperative for them to adapt to the local culture without compromising the principles of medical ethics. Moreover, competition within the job market and cultural disparities between foreign and local medical personnel also present challenges that need to be addressed. In dealing with competition, a holistic approach involving the government, relevant institutions, and professional training for local medical personnel is required. Overall, the utilization of FHNWs holds potential benefits in addressing medical workforce shortages and enhancing healthcare access. However, this utilization must be carried out with ethical responsibility, respecting patient rights, and considering cultural and professional aspects. With a prudent approach, the utilization of FHNWs can contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and the well-being of local medical personnel, in line with ethical principles and national interests.
