In early childhood, a child has high energy. This energy is needed to perform various activities to improve physical skills related to fine motor skills, such as shaping or manipulating from clay/wax/dough, drawing, coloring, sticking, cutting, cutting, stringing objects with thread (meronce). These activities serve to train coordination between eyes and hands, which can be developed through play activities (Sumantri, 2005: 145).

There is a deficiency in facilities and infrastructure, notably the absence of library space for reading activities. The books at SD Negeri Waruberon are not very engaging, and the reading material is overly challenging. This discourages students from dedicating time to reading books. They tend to engage in less productive activities with their friends, as they find these activities more interesting and enjoyable. In addition to the absence of supporting infrastructure, there are also environmental and familial factors. Many parents choose to provide their children with cellphones or gadgets rather than purchasing engaging books that cater to their needs. This significantly diminishes the interest in reading at SD Negeri Waruberon. For this reason, the service conducted by college students placed at SD Negeri Waruberon is intended to boost the reading interest of SD Negeri Waruberon students through the Reading Corner program. Having a reading corner in each of their classrooms means they have a comfortable space to read books and utilize their free time for meaningful activities that expand their knowledge. Additionally, various methods are employed, including: 1) Planning / Making a design, 2) Demonstrating Design Outcomes, 3) Gathering and Analyzing Information, 4) Implementing the Manufacturing Process. A program to establish a reading corner at SD Negeri Waruberon in Sidoarjo has delivered positive results. The students at SD Negeri Waruberon have shown an increased interest in reading books during their free time. They have developed a deeper understanding of the importance of reading, which has enhanced their insight and critical thinking abilities. Moreover, they have become more confident in expressing their opinions, both individually and with their peers. They find it easier to comprehend conveyed information, and their intellectual capabilities have improved. Additionally, their level of literacy activities has increased, enabling them to create stories, rhymes, and poems, which are periodically displayed on the school wall.

Based on data released by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpppa), the number of cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that occurred in Indonesia throughout 2020 was still very high. East Java ranks second highest after Central Java as the province with the most domestic violence cases throughout 2020, with 1,588 cases. This figure is obtained from the number of cases of domestic violence reported in all cities in East Java. Efforts to reduce the incidence of domestic violence are not enough just to take repressive actions against perpetrators of domestic violence. What is more important is preventive action to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence. One of the causes of domestic violence can occur is the lack of public knowledge about what is meant by domestic violence. Because there are still many cases of domestic violence that occur during this Covid-19 Pandemic. This is where the role of universities is expected to be able to provide knowledge to the community, not only for women or children, but also for men. One of the things that universities can do in providing knowledge to the community regarding domestic violence is by conducting socialization and legal counseling. The role of legal counseling can provide increased legal knowledge to community members in order to avoid violations of the law, especially Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Another benefit of legal counseling is that the community can play an active role directly with other communities to transmit or relay the relay to other members of the community such as within the family, neighbors, in the neighborhood associations and neighborhood associations in the East Java region. Community Reading Center (TBM) as a means for children to learn is one of the programs formulated by the government to build a learning community by increasing children's interest in reading. However, it isn’t all TBM are able to support this purpose due to existence of conditiions facing it, as experienced by TBM Al Bayun in Bandasari Village. Therefore, in the Unpad’s PKM (Integrated KKN-PPM) activity, it is generally intended to assist the village government in carrying out one of its tasks, while specifically intended to help the management of Al Bayun TBM to become a child learning facilities. The Model chosen for the implementation of its activities is the quadruple helix collaboration. While the method of activity is in the form of assistance, counseling to the community related to literacy, and technical guidance in managing TBM. PKM can be held as planned and generally, the set of activities in TBM management can be carried out properly. This is inseparable from the collaboration between the government, universities, publishing business actors, and civil society.  The four collaborating parties can play their respective roles so that the aims and objectives of PKM activities can be achieved. This success also shows that with collaboration, the problems faced are more likely to be handled and all limitations can be completed
