This study aims to analyze toxic and narcissistic leadership in Christian educational institutions. The research method employed is a literature review with a content analysis approach. Data were collected through documentation studies of various academic books and relevant scholarly journals, then systematically analyzed to identify themes, patterns, and strategic insights. This literature review seeks to provide an in-depth understanding of toxic and narcissistic leadership phenomena, focusing on the influencing factors, their implications for organizations, and potential conflict resolution strategies. The findings reveal that toxic and narcissistic leadership has a negative impact on organizational health, particularly within Christian education, which should uphold the values of love, sacrifice, and service. Conversely, the implementation of conflict resolution based on Christian values can restore relationships, strengthen leadership integrity, and foster a healthy organizational culture. This study emphasizes the importance of transforming toxic and narcissistic leadership into leadership grounded in the values of Christ so that Christian educational institutions can remain consistent with their mission to educate, guide, and serve with love.

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student community service aimed at helping resolve social problems. This research focuses on publicizing the dangers of online gambling (judol), a global phenomenon that causes moral, economic, and social harm, by integrating it with Sharia principles in Perkebunan Gunung Melayu Village. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative approach. The 13-day program involved initial observation, educational-participatory socialization interventions that emphasized the prohibition of Maisir and its relationship to Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah (Objectives of Sharia), and impact evaluation. The implementation results demonstrated high community enthusiasm and a significant increase in cognitive awareness and understanding of Sharia as a spiritual bulwark against online gambling practices. Furthermore, supporting activities such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong) successfully revitalized the spirit of collaboration and social participation. Despite time constraints and weather constraints, the entire KKN program successfully had a transformative impact, strengthening the community's religious and social values. This study recommends the need for continued monitoring and mentoring to ensure the sustainability of the awareness that has been formed.

Improving the quality of education has become a strategic issue in the management of educational institutions in the global era. One widely used approach is Total Quality Management (TQM), which focuses on continuous improvement, multi-stakeholder engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TQM in education, specifically regarding implementation strategies, challenges, and opportunities faced by educational institutions. This study used a qualitative literature review method, examining five scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data were obtained through searches on Google Scholar and Publish or Perish, then analyzed through screening and thematic coding. The study results indicate that the implementation of TQM contributes positively to improving the quality of learning, graduate quality, and internal quality assurance systems at various levels of education. The integration of Islamic values and character is also a trend in the implementation of TQM in religious-based schools. In conclusion, it was found that most research is still case studies and limited to specific school contexts, thus not providing a comprehensive picture of the variation in TQM practices at various levels of education. Therefore, further comparative and integrative research is needed to strengthen understanding of the effectiveness of MMT in continuously improving the quality of education.

This community service program was carried out in Dolok Kahean Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency, with the main focus on optimizing digital literacy to increase the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of this program is to strengthen the competitive position of MSMEs, especially Rengginang Ibu Saliem, who still rely on conventional marketing systems and have a minimal understanding of business digitalization. The method used is a participatory and educational approach, carried out in four systematic stages: needs assessment, material design, program implementation, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant achievements, with an increase in digital literacy understanding by 80% based on a comparison of pre-service and post-service. In practice, partners have succeeded in forming a business digital identity, namely @rengginanghuta_ibusaliem Instagram accounts, and are able to run digital marketing starting from content processes to customer interaction. Theoretically, these findings strengthen the argument that digital literacy is an essential foundation in facing the challenges of the digital economy, where increased competitiveness is not only influenced by technical skills, but also by changes in mindset and business independence. The implication of this program is that local MSMEs now have adequate capabilities and platforms to expand market reach beyond the village boundaries.

The reading This community service activity aims to improve students' environmental skills and science literacy through training in the production and application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) made from Morinda citrifolia fruit at MTsN 1 Kota Palangka Raya. The activity was carried out in September 2025 using an educational participatory method that actively involved MBKM UIN Palangka Raya students and students in each stage of the activity. The implementation of the activity consisted of four main stages, namely preparation, socialization, POC production practice, and evaluation and reflection. Students were trained to process noni fruit into liquid fertilizer through a fermentation process using additional ingredients of brown sugar, clean water, and EM4 solution as a microbial starter. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the scientific concepts of the fermentation process, organic waste management, and the application of science in everyday life. The application of POC on pakcoy plants showed better vegetative growth compared to untreated plants, characterized by greener leaves and sturdier stems. This activity not only strengthened the critical and collaborative thinking skills of the students but also fostered an environmentally conscious attitude in line with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. Thus, the training in making POC from noni fruit can be considered a best practice in the application of contextual learning based on ecology.

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum designed to provide flexibility to educational units in developing student-centered learning, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This research aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and analyze its impact on PAI learning at Manu Putra Buntet Pesantren Islamic School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews with the school's Vice Principal for Curriculum. The results show that the Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented in grades X and XI, while grade XII still uses the 2013 Curriculum due to an unfinished transition process. In its implementation, this curriculum strives to encourage student activity and integrate Islamic values according to the characteristics of the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) environment. However, students' adaptation to the active learning model is not yet optimal, so learning still tends to be teacher-centered. In addition, limitations in facilities and infrastructure such as projectors and technological devices also hinder the full implementation of innovative methods. Overall, the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive impact on strengthening religious character and contextualizing PAI learning but requires improved facilities and further mentoring for teachers and students so that the curriculum's goals can be optimally achieved.

The growing demand for integrated Islamic schools to deliver high-quality education that emphasizes both academic excellence and character development has encouraged the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a modern and relevant management approach. TQM is considered appropriate because it highlights continuous improvement, active involvement of all school members, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction within the educational context. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TQM in improving school quality at three integrated Islamic junior high schools: SMP IT Al-Khoiriyyah, SMP IT Nurul Islam, and SMP IT Baitul Anshor. The research employed a qualitative method using a multi-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis involving principals, vice principals, teachers, educational staff, students, and parents. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that TQM implementation in all three schools followed four main stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. During planning, TQM principles were embedded in School Work Plans, the PDCA cycle was applied, and stakeholders were actively involved. Organizing focused on quality-based structures, clear task distribution, and teamwork. Implementation included quality-oriented learning, teacher development, extracurricular activities, and integrated Islamic programs, while monitoring involved supervision, internal audits, evaluation meetings, and feedback systems. Supporting factors included visionary leadership, Islamic work culture, and parental support, while challenges involved limited facilities, uneven teacher competencies, and heavy workloads.

This study is motivated by the challenge of economic independence for Islamic boarding schools amid the transformation of their role in the modern era. Islamic boarding schools no longer function solely as traditional Islamic educational institutions, but have also developed as centers for economic and social empowerment of the community. However, dependence on uncertain external funding sources has prompted the need to develop a sustainable economic ecosystem for Islamic boarding schools in order to strengthen the independence of these institutions. This study aims to explore the development of Islamic boarding school financing management based on economic independence. This study uses a qualitative approach, with an exploratory sequential mixed methods design. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The results of the study found that: 1) Financial management in two Islamic boarding schools has been carried out systematically through planning, funding diversification, governance, and continuous evaluation with a contextual approach. 2) The development of financial management has shifted from an administrative function to an economic independence strategy based on the integration of modern governance and Islamic boarding school values.

The digital transformation of education in Indonesia presents both strategic opportunities and significant ethical challenges. On the one hand, technological innovation expands access, effectiveness, and quality of learning; on the other hand, it risks creating social disparities, the commercialization of education, and the reduction of human values. In this context, Pancasila is considered relevant as an ethical paradigm that guides the direction of digital transformation to remain grounded in humanity, social justice, and sustainability. This study aims to analyze Pancasila as an ethical framework for directing the development of educational technology in Indonesia. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach, drawing on philosophical sources, educational policy documents, and practices of digital technology implementation at various educational levels. The analysis reveals that the values of Pancasila, particularly the second and fifth principles, can serve as normative foundations for shaping policies, design, and practices of educational technology that are humanistic, inclusive, and equitable. The study concludes that integrating the Pancasila paradigm is not only ideologically essential but also strategically significant in ensuring that the digital transformation of education in Indonesia aligns with national objectives and human dignity.

Learning evaluation is an essential component of the Islamic education system as it serves to assess the achievement of learning objectives and measure students’ development. This study aims to examine the concept of learning evaluation according to the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam and its relevance in modern educational contexts. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method, using sources from hadith collections, Islamic education books, and scientific journals. The findings reveal that the Prophet’s hadith provides a strong foundation for the implementation of learning evaluation based on three main domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Furthermore, the hadith emphasizes sincerity, justice, and exemplary behavior as essential principles in the evaluation process. The implementation of these values in modern education requires teachers to assess not only academic performance but also students’ moral and spiritual aspects. Thus, learning evaluation based on hadith serves as guidance for achieving a balanced education between knowledge, morality, and skills.

This study examines the role of Pancasila as a source of values in national character education amid the challenges of globalization and digital disruption. Pancasila, as the ideology and foundation of the state, contains universal values derived from local wisdom and the nation's culture. However, the implementation of these values in formal education remains formalistic and does not sufficiently touch the internalization aspects of students. Through a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach with ideological and normative dimensions, this study involved teachers, students, and educational stakeholders in Central Java. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and document studies, with thematic analysis based on the principles of Pancasila and Islamic law principles. The study results indicate that Pancasila-based character education requires a pedagogical transformation that is contextual, participatory, and grounded in real-life experiences.Pancasila must be actualized as a way of life through adaptive educational practices, thereby forming a generation that is of integrity, responsible, and mature both morally and socially.
