Phubbing behavior has become a significant global phenomenon among adolescents, with multidimensional impacts on social interactions, mental health, and academic performance. This article aims to analyze the causal factors, impacts, and prevention strategies of phubbing. This research uses a literature study type by analyzing several relevant articles. The results showed that the main factors driving phubbing include smartphone addiction, Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), boredom, and low self-control. Impacts include decreased quality of social interactions, increased anxiety, decreased academic focus, and physical impairments such as headaches. Although some studies indicate phubbing does not significantly affect friendship satisfaction in certain groups, the phenomenon generally disrupts interpersonal relationships. The proposed solution involves a holistic approach through digital literacy education, family interventions, school policies and physical activity.

This study aims to analyze the effects of fast food consumption on obesity risk among adolescents through a review of 20 relevant studies. The findings indicate that excessive consumption of fast food, along with low physical activity and social influences, significantly contributes to the increasing rates of adolescent obesity in Indonesia. Key factors include easy access, affordability, aggressive marketing, sedentary lifestyles, and a lack of nutritional education. As a result, there is a heightened risk of degenerative diseases such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, as well as psychological issues related to low self-esteem. To address the rising trend of adolescent obesity, comprehensive interventions are necessary, including nutrition education, dietary regulation, and the promotion of active lifestyles.

Smoking remains a major public health issue that is difficult to address, particularly among adolescents. The rising number of young smokers is a concerning issue due to the long-term detrimental consequences it poses, both in terms of health, social, and economic aspects. Adolescence is a period of identity exploration and challenges, and unfortunately, many young people fall into the habit of smoking. The community service conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Seram Bagian Barat on october 17, 2024, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and prevention efforts. The activity involved socialization, interactive discussions, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants' knowledge changes. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. Additionally, interviews with participants revealed that peer influence and family environment played a significant role in influencing adolescent smoking behavior. These findings support Bandura's Social Learning Theory, which states that behavior is largely influenced by observation of one's social environment. Efforts to prevent smoking among adolescents need to involve active participation from families, schools, and communities.

Minor wounds, such as abrasions, scratches, or small cuts, are commonly experienced by teenagers, especially in school environments. However, improper treatment of minor wounds can lead to infections and more severe complications. This study aims to raise awareness and educate students at SMP Negeri 1 Kairatu on the proper management of minor wounds. The research employs a descriptive approach with an interactive educational method involving presentations, discussions, and live demonstrations. Respondents in this study were students from grades 7 to 9. The population in this study were all female students at SMP Negeri 10 Denpasar totaling 547 students with a purposive sampling technique using the slovin formula. Result: The results of the Wilcoxon test on the pretest-posttest of the treatment group obtained a value of P = 0.0003 <0.05, meaning that there was a difference in the dysmenorrhea pain score before and after being given warm compresses to the abdomen and health education in the treatment group. The results of the next Wilcoxon test on the pretest-posttest of the control group obtained a value of P = 0.066> 0.05, meaning that there was no difference before and after health education in the control group. The results of the Man Whitney test on dysmenorrhea pain scores after being given Warm Compress Abdomen and Health Education in the Treatment and Control Groups obtained P = 0.000 <0.05 indicating that there is an effect of Warm Compress Abdomen and Health Education on dysmenorrhea pain. Madura, an island in East Java, is known for its rich cultural heritage. Despite this, prevailing stereotypes in society often emphasize negative aspects of Madurese culture, which can obscure its valuable and positive traditions. One such cultural gem is Daul music—a vibrant and rhythmic musical expression that deserves greater public appreciation. This study explores the design and development of a digital comic titled “The Sparkle of Madura’s Daul”, which aims to introduce Daul music to a younger audience, particularly teenagers aged 18–22, through the Webtoon platform. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research gathered data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews to inform the design process. The comic is created not only as an engaging entertainment medium but also as a tool for cultural education and preservation. By integrating narrative and visual storytelling, the comic presents Daul music in a compelling and accessible format, positioning it as a cultural asset comparable to the well-known Karapan Sapi. The final product is intended to reshape perceptions of Madurese identity, promote cultural pride, and encourage the appreciation of traditional music among youth. This initiative highlights the potential of digital media to bridge generational and cultural gaps while revitalizing local heritage through creative means.
