Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood marked by rapid physical, psychological, and social changes. One important aspect in adolescent development is mental health, which plays a role in forming healthy, resilient, and productive individuals. However, awareness of mental health among adolescents is still relatively low, as found in observations at MAN 2 Surakarta. Increasing awareness of mental health problems and support from family, friends, and the wider community is needed to create a healthy and productive young generation. From the author's observations at MAN 2 Surakarta, it was found that some students were not yet familiar with the concept of mental health, so this community service activity was carried out. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out to increase student awareness of the importance of mental health, provide education, and develop stress management skills. This activity involves delivering materials, discussions, and practicing relaxation techniques such as the butterfly hug. The purpose of this activity is to increase awareness of the importance of mental health, provide education about mental health, and also develop stress management skills. So that students are expected to be able to live a healthier and stronger life both mentally and emotionally. Adolescence is a crucial stage in individual development, where high school students often face emotional challenges that arise due to physical, psychological and social changes. Unfortunately, many teenagers do not have adequate emotional regulation skills, so they are vulnerable to experiencing difficulties in managing stress, resolving conflicts, or making wise decisions. This limited understanding of emotional regulation can have an impact on mental well-being, triggering impulsive behavior, low motivation to learn, and disruption in interpersonal relationships. Through outreach educational programs, high school students can be given practical knowledge and skills to strengthen emotional regulation abilities. This program is designed to help students recognize their emotions, develop more adaptive management strategies, and improve their ability to deal with everyday stress. With an interactive approach and in line with students' needs, this program is expected to be able to improve emotional well-being while helping students manage their emotions effectively.

Physical punishment of children, such as hitting, remains a common practice in education. This study examines the negative impact of physical punishment on learning effectiveness, psychological aspects, and students' academic performance. Research indicates that children who experience physical violence tend to suffer from anxiety, stress, and low motivation to learn, resulting in lower academic achievement. Additionally, physical punishment can lead to emotional disturbances, the development of aggressive behavior, and a decline in social skills. To reduce the practice of physical violence in schools, strategies such as implementing positive discipline, strengthening character education, and increasing awareness among educators and parents about the harmful effects of physical punishment are necessary.

This study explores Mohammad Hatta's influence on housing policies in Indonesia, highlighting his integration of Islamic principles into public policy to enhance societal welfare. Hatta viewed housing as a fundamental human right that extends beyond physical needs to encompass spiritual and social dimensions. Grounded in Islamic values such as justice (‘adl), trust (amanah), and solidarity (ta'awun), his policies aimed to ensure equitable access to adequate housing, particularly for low-income communities, while promoting holistic well-being. Hatta’s vision aligned with Islamic teachings that emphasize fairness and state responsibility in fulfilling basic human rights, as reflected in QS. An-Nisa: 58. His ideas inspired initiatives like the Sejuta Rumah (One Million Houses) Program and Tapera (People’s Housing Savings), which address housing disparities and support societal harmony. Additionally, Hatta championed cooperative-based housing development, fostering community participation and mutual assistance, which not only ensured affordable housing but also empowered local economies. By integrating Islamic principles into housing policies, Hatta demonstrated how public policy could balance material, social, and spiritual needs to achieve sustainable societal welfare. His approach offers a valuable framework for future housing programs to promote justice, inclusivity, and collective prosperity.

The increasing population triggers a demand for land for housing and other activities. Along with this, issues arise regarding the limited availability of land, especially in rapidly developed areas. This limitation has the potential to create an imbalance between the growing need for space and the existing land capacity. This study evaluates the land carrying capacity in four sub-districts in the southern part of Medan City, namely Medan Tuntungan, Medan Johor, Medan Amplas, and Medan Denai, in dealing with the continuously growing population. Using a spatial analysis approach with ArcGIS 10.8 software and detailed spatial data, this research identifies potential areas for residential development and projects the capacity of land to accommodate future populations. The analysis covers physical and environmental aspects such as land slope, soil type, natural disaster risks, and access to public facilities. The results show that each sub-district has different potentials and challenges. Medan Tuntungan, with its large area and flat land conditions, shows significant potential for residential development, although attention must be given to the existence of protected areas and agricultural land that must be preserved. Medan Johor, as an economic center, faces substantial pressure on land use, with some areas nearing their maximum capacity. Medan Amplas and Medan Denai, which are more urban, experience stricter land limitations. Population growth projections indicate a significant increase in land demand in some sub-districts in the coming decades. Without effective management, this has the potential to exert high pressure on the environment and urban infrastructure. This research emphasizes the importance of spatial planning and sustainable development policies to maintain a balance between housing needs and environmental conservation.

Fish growth refers to the growth of body size which includes length and weight, as well as the development of fish body tissues within a certain period of time.Growth does not only occur in a physical sense but also includes biological and physiological changes in the fish body.In an ecological context, fish growth is related to the ability to survive, adapt, and reproduce in an environment with various internal and external factors. The implementation of the practicum of population dynamics and fish stock assessment was carried out in the Nias University building, room 2 of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The morphometric measurements were carried out by measuring the total length, stag length and standard length. The total length was measured from the distance between the tip of the head end and the tip of the caudal fin back.Growth of strange mackerel through the relationship between length and weight using the growth formula expressed in the form of a linear regression equation. The equation obtained from the analysis of measurement data shows the length-weight relationship with the equation Y 2.8771x-1.7473 and R2 value of 0.6688. The coefficient b value of 1.7473 indicates that mackerel has a negative allometric growth pattern, which means weight gain. Mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.) is the main indicator of fish growth and health based on the results of morphometric studies that show variations in length and weight.

Postural balance is a crucial aspect of daily life that enables individuals to move with stability and safety. Children with Down Syndrome (DS) often experience balance disorders due to cognitive function limitations that affect their motor abilities. This study aims to explore the relationship between cognitive function and balance in children with DS. Cognitive impairments, including memory deficits, attention difficulties, and executive function challenges, can impact a child's ability to control posture and perform motor activities effectively. Additionally, difficulties in movement coordination and sensorimotor responses contribute to poor balance abilities. Understanding the connection between cognitive function and balance can facilitate the implementation of appropriate interventions, such as physical therapy and cognitive stimulation, to improve the quality of life of children with DS. A holistic approach is essential in supporting the development of children with DS to help them achieve greater independence. Parents and families play a vital role in actively participating in the growth and development of children with DS, ensuring that their cognitive function and balance are maintained and enhanced. Consequently, children with DS can become more independent and socially engaged, enabling them to interact with others and build healthy social relationships.
