Independence refers to the freedom to act and the ability to control one’s own or a group’s activities to protect oneself or others from various diseases or conditions. Among the elderly, the ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL) often declines, which in turn reduces their independence in carrying out daily activities such as dressing, toileting, climbing stairs, or moving around. One of the common health problems affecting older adults is rheumatoid arthritis—an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation and swelling in the joints, often affecting one or both sides of the body, making it difficult for the elderly to perform routine tasks. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of independence and the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis among the elderly in the working area of Tinangkung Utara Public Health Center, Banggai Kepulauan Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using the Chi-Square test. The study involved 50 respondents selected through a non-probability purposive sampling technique. The results of the Chi-Square analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 with a significance level of < 0.05, indicating that the research hypothesis was accepted. This finding means there is a significant relationship between the level of independence and the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis among the elderly in the study area. In conclusion, the level of independence influences the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis in older adults. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the elderly maintain active and independent movements as a way to keep their joints healthy and functional..

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the reward program in improving employee loyalty and work discipline at Bank Mandiri. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using the literature study method, through the collection and analysis of secondary data obtained from official Bank Mandiri reports, academic journals, labor regulations, and media articles related to human resource management policies. The findings reveal that the implementation of both financial rewards (competitive salaries, performance-based bonuses, and welfare benefits) and non-financial rewards (recognition, promotions, and career development programs) has a positive impact on enhancing employee loyalty and work discipline. A fair, transparent, and sustainable reward system fosters a sense of belonging, strengthens affective commitment, and cultivates a productive and professional work culture. Moreover, the data indicate a decline in disciplinary violations over the past three years, demonstrating the effectiveness of the reward system as a form of positive reinforcement. This study highlights the importance of reward policies as a strategic instrument in human resource management and recommends that companies continuously adapt their reward systems to align with employee needs and the evolving work environment.

The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach to various scientific sources discussing the implementation of SNP, including educator professionalism, education management, and quality equity between regions. The results of the study show that the SNP functions as the main instrument for quality assurance as well as a strategy for educational equity through eight standards that must be met by each educational unit. The implementation of the SNP has been proven to improve the quality of learning, the competence of educators, and the accountability of school management. In addition, the SNP plays a role in narrowing the gap in educational quality between regions by establishing uniform performance indicators at the national level. However, implementation in the field still faces obstacles in the form of limited human resources, infrastructure, and uneven policy support. Therefore, collaboration among stakeholders is needed to optimize the implementation of the SNP through continuous training, managerial supervision, and strengthening of the internal quality assurance system in schools. This study confirms that the SNP is a strategic foundation for building a quality, inclusive, and equitable national education system in the era of educational transformation.

The downstreaming of natural resources has emerged as a strategic policy implemented by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to strengthen Indonesia’s economic independence and reduce reliance on raw commodity exports. Grounded in the philosophical foundation of Pancasila, this policy emphasizes the principles of economic equality, national sovereignty, and sustainability, in line with the overarching goals of national development. This study aims to analyze the role of industrial downstreaming policies in enhancing national economic self-reliance through the integration of Pancasila values. Substantively, downstreaming increases value-added production, boosts domestic investment, and facilitates job creation, particularly in the mineral processing and agro-industrial sectors. Moreover, the policy contributes to reducing economic vulnerability to global market fluctuations and aligns with the Pancasila principles of social justice and collective welfare. However, several challenges remain, including infrastructure readiness, environmental sustainability, and inclusive participation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The research indicates that the industrial downstream sector, as regulated by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, plays a crucial role in realizing national economic autonomy, requiring its implementation to be aligned with Pancasila principles in order to balance economic progress with equity and sustainability.

The motorcycle industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid development, particularly in the scooter segment, which dominates the market due to its convenience and efficiency. Despite this growth, Yamaha’s market share has shown fluctuations, indicating inconsistent consumer purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the effect of Word of Mouth (WOM), Brand Image, and Social Media Marketing (SMM) on purchase intention of Yamaha motorcycles in Denpasar City, using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) as the underlying framework. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 104 respondents. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results demonstrate that WOM, Brand Image, and SMM each have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with WOM emerging as the most dominant factor. The regression model indicates that these three variables jointly explain 77.2% of the variance in purchase intention, while the remaining 22.8% is explained by other factors not included in this study. The findings confirm that strengthening WOM, enhancing brand image, and optimizing social media strategies are essential to increase consumer purchase intention. This study contributes to both theoretical development and managerial practice in the field of consumer behavior and marketing strategy in the automotive industry.

The construction industry faces major challenges in managing material inventory, particularly among start-up companies that still rely on paper-based manual records. Such practices often lead to data inconsistencies, delays in decision-making, and project inefficiencies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a cloud-based and real-time inventory management system utilizing spreadsheets at PT X, a start-up contractor located in Karanganyar, Central Java. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with finance staff, logistics administration staff, and the project manager, as well as documentation of material inflows and outflows. The findings reveal that the use of cloud-based spreadsheets enhances data transparency, facilitates real-time monitoring between field and office, and accelerates stock opname validation. The system also supports more responsive decision-making regarding material reordering and request postponements. Nevertheless, several obstacles remain, including limited digital literacy among staff, potential input errors, and reliance on internet connectivity. Theoretically, this research contributes to the literature on accounting information systems and inventory management in small-scale construction sectors. Practically, it demonstrates that low-cost cloud solutions can improve operational efficiency and serve as a foundation for developing more integrated systems in the future.

The first 1000 days are often referred to as the window of opportunities or the golden period, based on the fact that from the fetal stage to the age of two years, there is a period of rapid growth and development that does not occur in other age groups. Meeting nutritional needs during the first 1000 days of a child's life is very important. This study analyzes the relationship between food taboos and LILA in pregnant women with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 1-24 months in the working area of the Biromaru Community Health Center in Sigi Regency. The research design used was a case-control study. The independent variables in this study were food taboos and maternal weight during pregnancy. The dependent variable was stunting in children aged 1-24 months. The population in this study consisted of all mothers who had children with stunting, totaling 32 people. The results of the study show that of the 16 stunted respondents, 11 (34.4%) respondents had food taboos and 5 (15.6%) respondents did not have food taboos. Then, out of 16 non-stunted respondents, 4 (12.5%) respondents had food taboos and 12 (37.5%) respondents did not have food taboos. Meanwhile, out of 16 stunted respondents, 10 (31.3%) respondents had KEK and 6 (18.76%) respondents did not have KEK. Then, of the 16 respondents who were not stunted, 3 (9.4%) respondents had KEK and 13 (40.6%) respondents did not have KEK. There is a relationship between food taboos and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-24 months (p = 0.001), as well as a relationship between maternal height during pregnancy and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-24 months (p = 0.01). It is hoped that the Biromaru Community Health Center will increase routine visits and provide education and counseling for mothers and infants.
