This study examines innovative strategies to strengthen institutional and technological aspects of implementing the e-market retribution system to enhance transparency and accountability in Blitar Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, utilising in-depth interviews with key informants from the Department of Trade, market managers, traders, and stakeholders, along with secondary data from official documents. The theoretical framework integrates New Public Management, Technology Acceptance Model, and Good Governance principles. Findings reveal that e-market retribution implementation faces both opportunities and challenges in institutional strengthening and technology adoption. Innovative strategies developed include: institutional restructuring through clear role division; capacity-building programs for human resources; technological integration through QRIS digital payment systems; stakeholder engagement through participatory approaches; and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure accountability. The study concludes that successful implementation requires a comprehensive approach combining institutional strengthening, technological readiness, and stakeholder collaboration. This research contributes to the literature on digital transformation in local government revenue management and provides practical recommendations for regions implementing similar innovations

Food-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting household economic growth, including in Sialang Village, Bangkinang Subdistrict. One of the local businesses, “Keripik Cabe dan Mie Kuning Bu Inun,” produces cassava chips using traditional frying methods, which result in high oil absorption, inconsistent quality, short shelf life, and low production efficiency. Limited knowledge of food processing technology, sanitation, and food safety standards further hinders business development. This community service program aims to address these challenges through the application of low-oil frying technology, training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), production assistance, and periodic evaluation. The implementation method includes field observation, technical training, technology demonstration, production mentoring, and monitoring. The results show significant improvements in product quality, indicated by lower oil content, crispier texture, brighter color, and longer shelf life. Efficiency in oil usage and process stability also increased. Moreover, the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in sanitation, food safety, and production management improved considerably. Overall, the program successfully enhanced the competitiveness of the MSME, strengthened production sustainability, and provided positive economic impacts. This initiative can serve as a replicable model for other food MSMEs facing similar challenges.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi keberadaan dosen dan karyawan di Gedung Elektro Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis menggunakan metode face recognition berbasis Haar Cascade untuk deteksi wajah dan Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) untuk klasifikasi wajah. Sistem memanfaatkan ESP32-CAM sebagai perangkat akuisisi citra dan aplikasi Python untuk antarmuka grafis (GUI) secara real-time. Pengujian dilakukan pada variasi jarak (0,5 m, 1 m, dan 2 m) serta kondisi pencahayaan (terang, sedang, gelap). Hasil menunjukkan akurasi deteksi wajah rata-rata mencapai 83%, dengan pencahayaan terang dan sedang menghasilkan akurasi 100%, sedangkan kondisi gelap turun hingga 50%. Akurasi pengenalan wajah rata-rata sebesar 60%, dengan rincian 92% pada jarak 0,5 m, 50% pada 1 m, dan 33% pada 2 m. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memberikan informasi keberadaan cdosen dan karyawan secara real-time, meskipun kinerja masih terbatas oleh kualitas kamera 2 MP, kondisi pencahayaan, dan jumlah dataset terbatas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada implementasi monitoring keberadaan berbasis face recognition di lingkungan kampus serta menjadi dasar pengembangan lebih lanjut dengan kamera resolusi tinggi, metode deep learning, dan integrasi sistem absensi.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO), as one of the key organizations contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions in the maritime sector, offers several options that maritime industry stakeholders can utilize to measure carbon emissions, one of which is calculating the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI). The statistical x-bar control chart, employed as a monitoring instrument for the EEOI quality parameter, indicates that one container ship trip recorded an EEOI value of 0.00104, which exceeded the upper control limit of 0.00098. The results of process capability analysis on the initial dataset sample revealed that the value of Cp < 1, indicating that energy efficiency performance was not satisfactory. Process control was subsequently applied by eliminating anomalous data, which demonstrated a potential reduction in fuel consumption and EEOI by approximately 25%, as reflected in the improvement of the Cp value. The potential for enhancing the ship’s operational capability, however, still requires further control measures to improve energy efficiency performance. The reduction in fuel consumption directly contributes to lower emission levels, thereby supporting the realization of a sustainable shipping industry.

Posyandu is one of the health facilities that plays an important role in monitoring the growth and development of toddlers, especially in rural areas. The number of infant visits to posyandu in Konawe District is still very low. In 2024, 25.6% of posyandu were classified as primary, 27.1% as intermediate, 43.9% as advanced, and 3.3% as independent. Visits by toddlers to Posyandu are influenced by various factors, including parental knowledge and family support. This study aims to determine the extent to which parental knowledge and family support influence the frequency of visits by toddlers to Posyandu in Lahunggumbi Village in 2025. This study uses an observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 35 parents of toddlers who were randomly selected from Lahunggumbi Village. Data collection was conducted through interviews using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were analyzed using the chi-square statistical test to examine the relationship between parental knowledge and family support on infant visits to the Posyandu. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between parental knowledge (p = 0.015) and family support (p = 0.009) and the frequency of infant visits to the Posyandu. The stability of slopes in open-pit coal mining in Indonesia is significantly influenced by geological faults, which are a major factor causing slope failures. This study aims to examine the impact of faults on slope stability by conducting a systematic literature review of 25 scientific publications from 2018 to 2025. The results indicate that faults and fault zones consistently reduce rock mass integrity through several mechanisms, including stress concentration in weak zones, the formation of preferential sliding surfaces, amplification of hydro-mechanical effects from groundwater and rainfall, and the reduction of rock strength parameters. Case studies in Kalimantan and Sumatra confirm these mechanisms with slope failures aligning with fault orientations. Kinematic and numerical analyses using the Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM), Finite Element Method (FEM), and Distinct Element Method (DEM) show a reduction in the safety factor (SF) by up to 36% on slopes affected by faults. Practical recommendations include continuous monitoring using Slope Stability Radar (SSR), optimization of slope geometry with angles < 18° in fault zones, groundwater control, reinforcement with anchors and bolting, and UAV-based discontinuity mapping for hazard zoning. This study concludes that managing slopes in fault zones requires an integrated approach combining detailed geological investigation, multi-method numerical analysis, real-time monitoring, and specific mitigation design.

PAMTIRTA Tempino is an institution that provides clean water services in the Tempino area. The process of recording water use and monitoring water turbidity is still done manually, making it prone to recording errors and making it difficult to monitor the water quality distributed to the community. This study aims to design a website-based water turbidity recording and monitoring system by focusing on User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) aspects using the Design Thinking method. The research follows five stages of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data collection involves observation and in-depth interviews with PAMTIRTA officers. The results include a design with key features such as digital water meter recording, turbidity monitoring dashboards, and complaint services. The prototype was tested using Maze and the System Usability Scale (SUS), achieving a score of 80.1 and falling into the "Good" category (grade B). These results demonstrate that the UI/UX design effectively provides an easy-to-understand, operationally suitable, and efficient solution for PAMTIRTA Tempino's water recording and turbidity monitoring needs. This design offers a ready-to-implement solution to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of clean water services in the Tempino area.

Nutritional problems in toddlers remain a public health challenge in Indonesia, including in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. The 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data shows a high prevalence of malnutrition, severe malnutrition, and stunting in toddlers, with data showing that based on the body weight index (BB/A) the prevalence of malnourished toddlers is 3.9% while 13.8% of toddlers are undernourished. Based on the height-for-age (H/A) index, there are 11.5% of toddlers with very short nutritional status and 19.3% of toddlers with stunted nutritional status. Meanwhile, based on the weight-for-height (BB/H) index, the proportion of very wasted children is 3.5%, undernourished children are 6.7%, and overweight children are 8% (Riskesdas, 2018). Because of these problems, early nutrition education efforts are needed. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of toddler mothers about the importance of balanced nutrition for children, especially through the use of UHT milk as a nutritional supplement, as well as strengthening the role of integrated health posts (Posyandu) in monitoring child growth and development. Thus, this community service activity contributes to raising public awareness of the importance of meeting toddler nutritional needs and is expected to support government programs to reduce the prevalence of stunting in Tarakan City.

The manual employee attendance process at the Perjuk Village government level often results in inaccurate data, delayed recapitulation, and difficulties in real-time attendance monitoring. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)-based village employee attendance system to simplify the administrative process and improve the efficiency of attendance recording. The development method used is the Research and Development (R&D) model with stages including needs analysis, system design, validation, field trials, and product revisions. The system was built using an ESP32 microcontroller, an RC522 RFID module, and a Wi-Fi connection to transmit attendance data to a web-based server. Testing was conducted using the black box method to ensure all system features run according to design. The results of the black box test show that all features run according to design. The system records attendance automatically with 100% accuracy, saves data to the server database, and displays reports in the form of tables, graphs, and statistical cards. The study concludes that this IoT and RFID-based attendance system is able to improve the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of recording compared to manual methods, and is in accordance with operational needs at the Perjuk Village Office.

The Nanga Sira Mangrove Forest Tourism Area is an ecotourism destination with significant natural potential that has not been utilized optimally. The managing community faces constraints in aspects of digital marketing, educational content development, governance, and supporting facilities. This community service program aims to implement strategic collaboration between higher education institutions and the community to increase tourist visits through a participatory action research approach. The implementation method includes four main stages: observation, participatory planning, activity implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Core activities conducted include digital marketing training and creative content creation, development of environmental conservation education materials, improvement of tourism governance systems, and physical infrastructure enhancement. Evaluation results show a significant increase in community capacity with a 75% rise in social media interactions and 40% growth in tourist visits over a two-month period. This program successfully proves that the higher education-community collaboration model is effective as a strategy for sustainable tourism development. Recommendations include the importance of continuous mentoring and the development of more innovative tourism packages.

The main problem with the water heating system on offshore platforms is the absence of water level monitoring and automatic overflow detection. This has the potential to cause hot water spills that endanger workplace safety and operational efficiency. This research designs and implements a water level monitoring system based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller with HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors. The system is equipped with LED indicators, a buzzer alarm, and a 16x2 LCD to display water level status in real-time. Water levels are classified into three zones (low, medium, high), and overflow is detected if the water is within 3 cm of the sensor. Testing was conducted on a 5-liter simulation tank representing actual 500-liter tank conditions. Test results showed a reading accuracy of 96% and a quick system response to overflow conditions (<1 second). This system is economical, easy to develop, and highly applicable for offshore environments. In addition, this system can be integrated with IoT technology for remote monitoring.

This service activity was carried out in the Domestic Trade Sector, Central Java Provincial Industry and Trade Office with the aim of supporting the data collection process and updating the prices of basic necessities. This activity focuses on providing accurate and up-to-date price data as the basis for making price stabilization policies by local governments. The implementation of activities includes observation of the internal data collection system, daily price data input, data validation, and preparation of price development reports. In addition, the service team also coordinates with field officers and market managers to ensure the completeness of information and consistency of the data received. The technical assistance process related to the use of data collection application tools is also carried out to improve the competence of apparatus in managing information more effectively. The results of the activity show that systematic data updates are able to improve administrative efficiency, database accuracy, and support decision-making processes related to regional economic stability. Furthermore, the availability of more reliable price data allows local governments to detect potential price fluctuations early and formulate more timely and targeted intervention steps.

This study aims to assess the growth rate of harvested area and rice production in Bengkulu Province during the 2019–2024 period and to examine spatial variation across districts as a basis for regional agricultural policy planning. The data used are secondary, consisting of a series of spatial and temporal data on harvested area and rice production; the analysis method includes calculating the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for each indicator and examining temporal and spatial patterns across districts. The analysis results indicate a negative growth rate in the rice sector, with a relatively larger contraction in harvested area compared to production, accompanied by fluctuations and differences between years, indicating heterogeneity in agricultural performance at the district level. These findings have clear policy implications: the need for agricultural land protection measures, improvement and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure, increased farmer access to technology and markets, and the implementation of indicator-based growth rate monitoring to determine intervention priorities. To strengthen the policy base, recommended further research includes field verification and combined (quantitative-qualitative) studies to identify local factors driving the observed trends and fluctuations.

Rapid infrastructure development in Indonesia poses significant environmental risks, necessitating effective control instruments like the Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL). This study analyzes the strategic role of AMDAL in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly regarding water security, sustainable cities, climate action, and ecosystem conservation. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research evaluates regulations and academic sources from 2020 to 2025. The findings reveal that AMDAL serves as a critical preventive tool that aligns industrial activities with SDG 6, SDG 11, SDG 13, SDG 14, and SDG 15 through the internalization of ecological costs and strict mitigation hierarchies. Furthermore, AMDAL functions as an essential baseline data source for government monitoring. However, the study identifies substantial barriers to implementation, including a deficit in meaningful public participation, weak law enforcement that renders AMDAL a mere administrative formality, and regulatory dynamics post-Job Creation Law (UUCK) which shifted to a risk-based approach. The study concludes that while AMDAL is theoretically robust as a safeguard for sustainability, its practical implementation requires strengthening in transparency and supervision to effectively bridge economic interests with ecological preservation.

Pendidikan seks kepada anak sejak dini dan pemilihan jenis tontonan yang sesuai dengan usia anak perlu menjadi perhatian orang tua sebagai upaya untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual yang terjadi pada anak. Namun faktanya pendidikan seksual kepada anak usia prasekolah belum dilakukan secara optimal oleh orang tua sehingga pemahaman seksual pada anak masih terbatas selain itu juga anak suka menonton video di aplikasi yang beresiko munculnya video tidak sesuai usia anak. Belum optimalnya orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seksual juga ditemukan di TK GMIM Alfa Omega dan TK Pembina, dimana orang tua mengungkapkan tidak mengetahui cara untuk melakukan pendidikan seksual dan anak suka menggunakan youtube untuk menonton. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibentuk kegiatan pemberdayaan orang tua dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan metode story telling.dan pemanfaatan youtube kids. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seksua dengan metode story telling dan penggunaan youtube kids. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri atas 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan serta monitoring dan evaluasi yang diikuti oleh orang tua anak usia prasekolah di Tk GMIM Alfa Omega dan TK Pembina. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua dan keterampilan orang tua dalam melakukan pendidikan seks kepada anak usia prasekolah dan pemanfaatan aplikasi youtube kids. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini membawa dampak positif terhadap kemampuan orang tua melakukan pendidikan seksual dan pengunaan youtube kids sebagai alternatif tontonan bagi anak.

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pencatatan transaksi pada Toko Bangunan Subur Kaliwungu yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi meliputi pencatatan yang tidak efisien, kesulitan pencarian data, serta kurangnya ketepatan dalam laporan keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model Prototype. Sistem dikembangkan dengan menerapkan metode akuntansi berbasis Akrual (Accrual Basis) agar laporan keuangan dapat disusun lebih akurat dan real time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mencatat transaksi penjualan dan pembelian, mengelola data barang dan pelanggan, serta menyajikan laporan penjualan dan laporan keuangan secara digital. Fitur tambahan seperti histori transaksi, informasi stok barang, serta perhitungan laba rugi juga membantu pemilik toko dalam pengambilan keputusan. Implementasi sistem memberikan dampak positif, di antaranya peningkatan efisiensi, keakuratan data, dan kemudahan monitoring aktivitas penjualan.

This study analyzes the gap in the implementation of Information Technology IT service management at an internet service provider in Purwokerto using the ITIL V4 Service Value System SVS framework. The company faces a number of major problems, such as delays in incident handling, data fragmentation between operational applications, low automation in network monitoring, and suboptimal coordination between the technical and customer service divisions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of compliance of current service practices with ITIL V4 SVS best practices and to formulate recommendations for improvements that can increase operational efficiency and service reliability. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, with data collected from interviews and observations in the technical and customer service divisions, then analyzed based on the five main components of ITIL V4 SVS. The results show that the company has implemented several ITIL principles, particularly in terms of customer value focus and process simplicity, but the implementation of iterative feedback, data integration, and automation is still at a low level of maturity. This study concludes that strengthening the real-time monitoring system, increasing cross-divisional visibility, and establishing a Continual Improvement Register are important steps towards realizing more efficient, responsive, and sustainable IT service management.

Digital transformation has become an urgent necessity for madrasas in improving the quality of Islamic education amid the rapid advancement of technology. However, various national reports indicate that the implementation of digitalization in many madrasas still faces significant challenges, including low teacher competence, limited infrastructure, and the absence of leadership capable of directing the change process regularly. This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the strategies employed by madrasah principals in managing digital transformation as an effort to enhance technology-based learning quality. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, relying on secondary data such as scholarly articles, policy reports, and official documents from relevant educational institutions. The findings reveal that the success of improving technology-based learning quality highly depends on visionary and adaptive leadership, particularly in digital planning, teacher capacity building, infrastructure provision, digital learning culture development, and the implementation of data-driven monitoring and evaluation. This study emphasizes that technology becomes effective only when managed through strategic leadership capable of integrating digital innovations into madrasa governance in a sustainable manner.

This study discusses the application of the law to the alleged facilitation of online gambling transactions by PT Espay Debit Indonesia Koe (DANA), which allegedly distributed funds of IDR 5.37 trillion in illegal activities. This case is in the spotlight because it shows the weakness of the digital financial supervision system in Indonesia and raises questions about the limits and forms of legal accountability of fintech operators in preventing misuse of services. The research method used is normative juridical with a descriptive qualitative approach, using primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials to analyze applicable regulations and supervisory practices. The results of the study show that although DANA does not directly commit a criminal act of gambling, negligence in implementing transaction supervision mechanisms, including monitoring suspicious transaction patterns, can give rise to certain forms of legal liability. These findings underscore the importance of prudence and compliance with anti-money laundering regulations in fintech operations. This study recommends strengthening fintech regulations, implementing stricter Know Your Customer (KYC), increasing synergy between OJK, PPATK, and the Police, and establishing a more integrated and responsive digital transaction supervision system to prevent similar crimes in the future.

Malaria remains a significant health issue in the coastal areas of Yapen Islands Regency, particularly among children who are at high risk of morbidity and mortality. To address this, a community empowerment and mentoring activity was conducted in Kampung Turu, the service area of Serui Kota Health Center, with the aim of increasing knowledge and practices related to malaria prevention through a community-based education approach. The program involved 60 respondents and was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The interventions included malaria education, demonstrations on the use of insecticide-treated bed nets, environmental management, and training community health workers as education agents. Pre–post test evaluations showed an improvement in community knowledge and awareness regarding malaria prevention in children. The community empowerment approach was proven effective in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the capacity of parents and health workers to carry out sustainable malaria prevention efforts. This program is expected to serve as a model for public health interventions in coastal areas aimed at reducing the risk of malaria in children.
