The purpose of making this journal is to find out the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" then the next goal is to find out what language styles or figure of speech are contained in the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" and some of our goals, especially in this song, are devoted to teenagers who are in love.  tried to proceed to a more serious stage, namely marriage but the couple had doubts because of the many problems that arose but the couple was finally able to proceed to the marriage stage because by lowering their respective egos.  The theory we use is according to several well-known experts. The method we use in this journal is by listening to the song and reading the lyrics to the song.  The result of our analysis is that each lyric of the song “Asmalibrasi” contains many meanings that we must learn. Our recommendation is to be careful in choosing each partner, not because of the standard of society.

Learning is a process of interaction between students and educators who are members of opportunities for students to develop their potential so that all their potential can develop to the fullest. Through learning, students will acquire knowledge, skills, and character attitudes. The problem is that writing skills are much more difficult and more complicated than other linguistic aspects, namely listening skills, speaking skills, and reading skills. Another obstacle encountered in learning to write short stories comes from students. Students do not like short story writing lessons. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is a case study. Data was collected through document study/literature study and interviews. This study aims to overcome how students experience problems writing short story texts in the learning process. The results and discussion of the research are the Study Case Problems of Learning Short Story Writing in Lhokman, South Aceh by discussing several aspects such as obstacles when teaching both from teacher students and learning, learning solutions and strategies, evaluation in learning, student characteristics, and teacher efforts to overcome differences in learning.

The aim of this research is (1) to describe the factors causing code switching in the Drama Series Scandal 2: Sex, Love, and Revenge. (2) describe the function of using code switching in the Drama Series Scandal 2: Sex, Love, and Revenge. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is speech events that occurred in the Drama Series Scandal 2: Sex, Love, and Revenge. The object of this research is data containing code switching in speech events in the Drama Series Scandal 2: Sex, Love, and Revenge. The technique used in collecting data uses non-participating listening and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods with data transcription and data classification steps. The validity of the data is obtained through continuous data searching according to the facts, persistent observation techniques, and triangulation. The results of this study show two conclusions. First, there are five factors that cause code switching in Drama Series Scandal 2: Sex, Love, and Revenge, namely the speaker, the interlocutor, the presence of a third speaker, the subject of discussion, and to evoke a sense of humor, and simply to have agency. This research aims to: (1) Describe the value of the character's self-sacrificing struggle in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen. (2) Describe the value of the struggle for unity of the characters in the novel Step  by J.S. Khairen. (3) Describe the value of the struggle for respect for the characters in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen. (4) Describe the value of the character's patient struggle in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen. (5) Describe the value of never giving up struggle of the characters in the novel Step  by J.S. Khairen. (6) Describe the value of the character's cooperative struggle in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen. (7) Describe the implications regarding the value of the character's struggle in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen on literature learning in high school. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative research approach. The data collection techniques used are library techniques, listening techniques and further note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique uses text analysis techniques.The results of this research show that there are values of the characters' struggle in the novel Step by J.S. Khairen which is in accordance with Joyomartono's theory. The author found 25 data which were divided into six, namely 9 data on the value of being willing to sacrifice, 5 data on the value of unity, 2 data on the value of respect, 2 data on the value of patience, 4 data on the value of never giving up, 3 data on the value of cooperation. Apart from that, these values can be implied by studying literature in high school. Based on the 2013 curriculum in KD 3.8 interpret the author’s view of life in the novel read. and KD 4.8 Present the results of the interprestation of the author’s views both orally and in writting. The results of this study can be used as teaching material in studying literature in high school. Teaching materials can be used as a complement to the main textbook source.

The research entitled Use of Language in advertisements and broadcasts on TV. The formulation of the problem is (1) How is the use of the variety of spoken language? (2) How is the use of languageseen from the accuracy of the choice of words (diction)? (3) How is the code mixing that occurs in the use of the language, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data used in this research is the oral utterances delivered in broadcast news. Source of data used as research data is news that is broadcast starting from the morning and at night. Technique data collection in this study used the recording method with listening and listening techniques note technique. The results of the research show that (1) the use of speech variety is variety official (2) the use of diction, then 10 of the ten news used is obtained. Of the ten types of accuracy of diction analyzed, the results of the accuracy of the use of diction were obtained, as follows: use of special general words 6, use of words that are almost synonymous 5, use of denotative and connotative words 4, use of words that are similar in spelling 1, use of idioms 1, use of foreign endings 1, and use of continuity word choice 4 found inaccurate word choice. This article aims to understand the important role of Indonesian in proselytizing or spreading Islam by understanding and mastering Indonesian well. In the context of Indonesian diversity, the use of Indonesian in da'wah needs to pay attention to inclusive and tolerant messages. Language is something that cannot be separated from human life. Preachers can communicate religious messages more effectively to the general public and to avoid the use of inappropriate Indonesian in preaching. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out with data collection techniques through documentation techniques, listening techniques, and recording techniques on da'wah videos delivered by Ustadz Dr. Adi Hidayat, Lc., M.A in the Adi Hidayat Official YouTube Channel. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was assertiveness in conveying messages and interaction in this case it was also found that Indonesian language in da'wah was better understood, touched the heart, closer between the preacher and the audience so that the audience's interest in the preacher was formed in listening to the da'wah.

This study examines the importance of open and honest communication in personal and professional relationships and its impact on group dynamics, team effectiveness, and individual well-being. Through literature review and empirical analysis, it was found that openness in sharing feelings, thoughts, and concerns is key in maintaining healthy and harmonious relationships. Couples who regularly discuss important issues report higher levels of satisfaction in their relationships. Active listening, where full attention is given without distraction, also increases understanding and emotional closeness between couples. However, the study also identified communication challenges such as misunderstandings and conflicts that often trigger disputes, especially among young couples who face difficulties in conveying messages clearly and understanding emotional context. Emotion management during conflict is a major challenge, as many couples find it difficult to remain calm and rational in situations that trigger negative emotions.  overcome this challenge, strategies such as using humor and spending quality time together have proven effective. Humor can ease tension and improve mood after conflict, while quality time without technological distractions strengthens bonding and communication. The influence of technology in couples' communication is also reviewed, with an emphasis on the importance of setting boundaries for technology use to avoid misunderstandings and loss of emotional nuance. Social support from family and friends was found to play an important role in helping couples overcome conflict and strengthen their relationship. Couples who had a strong support network felt more confident and optimistic about the future of their relationship. In addition, the evolution of communication in relationships suggests that couples learn to communicate more effectively and efficiently over time, with improved communication skills such as empathy, emotion management, and constructive problem solving.

Since Covid-19 attacked several parts of the world, students are suggested to do distance learning. However, since New Normal era, students are allowed to do offline learning by implementing health protocol. This research is aimed to describe teaching method with blended learning model namely “Missing Pieces Activities” in English Subject for Seventh Class Junior High School 2 Bendungan Trenggalek-East Java. This teaching method involves various activities, they are: Missing Words for listening, Missing Small Thing speaking, and Missing Sentences for Reading. With this blended learning model, the activities are done by combining the online learning and offline learning. Source of data in this research is activities done by the students during the teaching and learning process. The data was collected through observation and interview. The finding of the research shows that students are more actively involved in the teaching and learning process. Further, they have higher motivation in learning due to the various activities they did in learning process. Therefore, this Missing Pieces Activities can be one of learning methods in New Normal Era to increase students’ activeness and motivation both in distance and offline learning.

This research focuses on code mixing that occurs in uploads to the Instagram account @ganjar_pranowo. Data were obtained from Instagram social media relating to multilingual and bilingual interaction processes that occur in society. All data was obtained and presented using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using listening techniques. The method used to write data is the equivalent method with the translational equivalent technique. The data consists of uploading sentences in Indonesian, Javanese and English on the Instagram account of Ganjar Pranowo (@ganjar_pranowo). There are 11 data showing internal code mixing, consisting of 6 forms of words, 4 forms of phrases and 1 form of sentences. In internal code mixing, all data is in Javanese. There are 15 data showing external code mixing which are divided into 8 data in the form of words and 7 data in the form of phrases. External code mixing consisted of 14 data in English and only 1 data in another foreign language, namely Korean. The entire function of code mixing on the Instagram account @ganjar_pranowo is to familiarize and attract readers' attention.

Based on initial observations made by researchers in Pematang Serai Village, some children had difficulty speaking because they were still used to the language used in the family environment, and it was difficult to listen to what other people were saying other than using their mother tongue. For example, some children still use their mother tongue or are carried away by the language used at home when they want to ask others for help, which is sometimes difficult to understand. Another problem faced by the people of Pematang Serai Village is moral degradation. Low levels of education and interest in reading are suspected to be the cause of the decline in the character values of the millennial generation. Data analysis was adjusted to the problem formulation questions to be investigated using a quantitative descriptive method that processes numerical data into words, then changes recorded data from interviews. There is an influence of mother tongue on the listening ability of children aged 4-5 years in Pematang Serai Village, the influence of mother tongue on the listening ability of children aged 4-5 years in Pematang Serai Village is 27.8%, and the rest is influenced by cultural factors, community environment and intensity social interaction of 72.2%.

This study aims to describe the form and type of code switching and language code mixing on Detik.com YouTube Channel video entitled Impersonation game with Iqbaal Ramadhan. I conducted this analysis accompanied by a comparison with 4 scientific journals that were the subject of study. This research uses a qualitative approach and the method used in this study is a descriptive method. In this study, data collection techniques were used with free listening techniques, proficient libas and recording techniques. The data is taken from a video show on Detik.com's YouTube Channel entitled Impersonation game with Iqbaal Ramadhan. The results of the analysis of research data that have been stated in the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the form of code switching and code mixing is often used by Iqbaal Ramadhan in the video. Iqbaal Ramadan often switches from Indonesian to foreign languages and regional languages and vice versa. The form of code transfer found by researchers in the field, namely the form of internal code transfer which occurs, the transition from Indonesian, to regional languages or vice versa, while the code mixing that occurs, namely the mixing or insertion of regional language words into Indonesian conversation, either intentionally or unintentionally. The form of mixed code obtained by the researcher, which is in the form of mixed code into mixing Indonesian with foreign languages and regional languages (Tae). This happened because of Iqbaal Ramadan's habit of using multilingual languages, so that code switching and code mixing in conversations in the surrounding environment occurred. 

This study aims to determine the interest and quality of the English teaching and learning process of students, especially in listening skills.  Knowing interests is carried out through the use of audio-visual media with role-playing methods that are expected to provide opportunities for the creation of pleasant learning conditions.  Thisclass obtained optimal results where students who were interested in taking English lessons could increase significantly. This research is in the form of Class Action Research  which is carried out using VCD media, which consists of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. Actions can be done by applying learning with audio-visual media and continued with role-playing methods. This research was conducted on 11 students of class X 1 SMKS Generus Bangsa. Responses to the progress of student interest are obtained from the results of student questionnaires, student interviews, student learning logs, observations, interviews between teachers, teacher journals, daily test results and assignments. Instrument validation is carried out with critical reflection between research teachers and face validity. Data validation is carried out by triangulating observations from the aspects of students, teachers and partner teachers. The results of each cycle reflection are used to plan further steps.

This activity emerged from the inspiration and desire of the writers to improve the English language skills of students in the neighborhood where the writers live, namely neighborhood V, Sei Putih Barat sub-district, Medan Petisah District, North Sumatra Province, who basically still have difficulties in understanding the language. English, especially in the Vocabulary aspect, is why the authors held this activity with the hope that students will have good knowledge after participating in this activity. Community Service (PKM) is an integral aspect of community progress and sustainable development. By actively engaging in community-based initiatives, individuals, organizations and institutions contribute to addressing social problems, building trust and fostering social cohesion. This activity involved around 20 students ranging in age from 8 - 12 years. This activity will be carried out for around 3 days, namely 17 – 19 November 2022 with a duration of 90 minutes/session. The song titles used are (1) Hokey Pokey, (2) 10 little Indians, (3) Head shoulders knees and toes, (4) Bingo, (5) Good Morning, (6) ABC, (7) Old Mc Donald had a farm, (8) London bridge is falling down, (9) There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, (10) There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, (11) 10 green bottles, (12) If you 're happy and you know it. After carrying out this activity, the students showed an increase in vocabulary, it was seen that they were able to fill in the blanks to complete the song after listening to it several times.

The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the errors in terms of syntax, which are found in online media Kompas.com; (2) to provide correction of language errors in terms of syntax, which are contained in Kompas.com online media. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used is the listening technique to obtain data by listening to the use of language and note-taking techniques to record words or sentences for analysis. The results of the analysis regarding the analysis of language errors can be concluded that there are forms of language errors in the field of syntax. One of them is the researcher determines the structure of sentences in news texts based on functions, categories, and roles.

This research method is descriptive qualitative using the approach of Literary Psychology. The source of this research data is Ajip Rosidi's Jante Arkidam published by cupumanik publisher in 1967. The data of this study are intrinsic elements, extrinsic elements and psychology. The data collection techniques used are document techniques, listening techniques and note-taking techniques. In this study, researchers used content analysis techniques as data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that: 1) aspects of intrinsic elements in Poetry include; (a) stanzas and arrays, (b) rhymes/rhythms, (c) diction/word choice, (d) imagery/imagery, (e) majas/stylistics. 2) aspects of extrinsic elements include; (a) the license granted by the author. 3) the representation of the figure of Jante Arkidam. These three structures influence the behavior, mindset, and representation of the figure jante Arkidam in the poem Jante Arkidam by Ajip Rosidi.

Based on the researcher's experience while teaching in Class IX.E SMP Negeri 3 Pasarkemis that some Class IX.E students did not follow the lesson well during Indonesian language lessons. The learning process is less effective due to the lack of student activity to read Indonesian language lesson material, the lack of student activity in expressing opinions during the lesson. Lack of student activity answering questions from the teacher. Lack of interest in students to take part in Indonesian language lessons. So that many students divert attention, such as chatting with their classmates, drawing, not enthusiastic when listening to the teacher explaining the lesson. This is caused by the teacher's model or way of explaining lessons that are too monotonous so that students pay less attention to the teacher during the lesson, and the learning process will not go well.

The title of this research is Moral Values ​​in the Short Film Don't Read Pancasila by Rafdi Akbar. Film itself is a tool to convey various messages to the public or community with story media. The film Don't Read Pancasila tells the story of a family with a child named Sandy. As a child, Sandy grew up like children in general. But on the other hand, Sandy suffers from a syndrome called Asperger's or in other words called Autism, causing him trouble or difficulty from an early age, so that he is always seen as strange and stupid by many people including his friends because of his temperament and autistic nature. . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the results obtained in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences obtained in the short film Don't Read Pancasila by Rafdi Akbar. The data collection technique that the author did in this study used the listening and note-taking technique. This study aims to find the moral values ​​contained in the short film Don't Read Pancasila by Rafdi Akbar. While the results obtained in this research are displayed in the real reality, namely the existence of moral values ​​such as courage, humility, lying and compassion.

This research is motivated by the existence of one marketplace application. This study discusses the style of language in featured advertisements in the application. Advertising language style has the ability to convince readers by playing words or phrases so that readers are influenced to use the product. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the style of advertising language in the shopee application. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study is the style of advertising language and the source of the data in the study is advertisements for shopee features that appear on youtube and television. The data collection technique in this study is the method of listening. Based on the results of the discussion on the analysis of the use of advertising language style on YouTube, it can be concluded that the Shopee application uses persuasive language style in the advertisements that are displayed, namely the use of repetition figurehead.
