Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) have become a crucial pillar of Indonesia's economy and have proven to be key drivers of economic resilience during times of crisis. According to data from the Department of Industry and Trade of Bali Province, the food and beverage SMEs in Denpasar City have the highest number of business units, totaling 1,002 units. However, the declining consumer interest in food and beverage SMEs has led to a decrease in their income. Capital, labor, the use of digital payment systems, and the adoption of e-commerce are expected to increase the income of food and beverage SMEs in Denpasar City. This study is a quantitative research involving a population of 1,002 food and beverage SME units. It aims to examine the effect of capital, labor, the use of digital payments, and e-commerce on the income of food and beverage SME actors in Denpasar City. The sample consists of 91 business units selected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that capital, labor, the use of digital payment systems, and e-commerce have a simultaneous and significant effect on the income of food and beverage SME actors in Denpasar City. Furthermore, each variable capital, labor, digital payment usage, and e-commerce individually has a positive effect on income. The implication of this research is that increasing capital, adding labor, and promoting the use of digital payment systems and e-commerce can enhance the income of food and beverage SMEs in Denpasar City.

Interpersonal communication is a type of communication that is often encountered and used in daily activities. Likewise, this type of communication is used in the design creation process, especially in interactions between graphic designers and clients. In practice, graphic designers often face challenges in understanding client needs, processing ideas, and making creative decisions. Challenges that often arise in the design process include mismatching client expectations, inconsistent requests, misunderstandings in translating client needs into designs, as well as various other external challenges that can influence design results. Phenomenon in the field shows that designers often experience internal conflict when balancing creativity with client requests. Therefore, understanding the dynamics of intrapersonal communication in the design process is crucial in order to produce work that meets the client's expectations without sacrificing creativity and aesthetic value in a graphic design.

This study aims to analyze the meaning of interpersonal communication in the anxiety experience of new students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological method, which focuses on students' subjective meaning of interpersonal communication experiences during the transition to college. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with eight new students who had experienced anxiety and were actively establishing communication relationships with those closest to them. The results of the study indicate that interpersonal communication is interpreted as an adaptive mechanism that helps relieve anxiety through five main elements: openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, and equality. In addition, the communication process is also influenced by the principle of social exchange, where students choose to establish communication that provides emotional comfort and avoid relationships that worsen psychological stress. Interpersonal communication has proven to be a safe space for students to build emotional resilience during the early stages of college.

This study aims to analyze the impact of Mekar Bank loans on the economic well-being of clients and the implementation of sustainable economic principles in financing. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies conducted in several regions of Indonesia, particularly in the researcher's village, Blimbing, Kesambi, Besuki, Situbondo, where the program is implemented. The results of this study show that Mekar Bank loans have provided easier access to financing aligned with sustainable economic principles, contributing to increased income and improved living standards, especially among women. However, the study also identifies several challenges in the program's implementation, including a lack of client understanding regarding sustainable economic principles and effective financial management. To enhance the program's effectiveness, additional education on sustainable principles and financial management is necessary. Thus, Mekar Bank loans serve not only as a financing tool but also as a means of economic empowerment. These loans also encourage clients to adopt more sustainable business practices, such as the use of sustainable business capital. Therefore, Mekar Bank loans help promote economic growth while also fostering sustainable economic development, ensuring that the positive impacts of these loans continue and extend to more segments of society.

This study examines the poem Sajak Sebatang Lisong by W.S. Rendra through a postcolonial lens, focusing on the underlying social criticism embedded within the text. The poem reflects the persistent social inequalities that continue to affect Indonesian society in the post-independence era, particularly in the realms of education and the marginalization of impoverished children. Through symbols such as the cigarette (lisong), wealthy elites (cukong), and the imagery of an endless road, the poem highlights the lingering presence of colonial structures within contemporary social and educational systems. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study utilizes textual analysis and socio-cultural context as primary analytical tools. The findings reveal that political independence has not been fully accompanied by social justice. Structural oppression and limited opportunities continue to hinder the younger generation in their pursuit of a better future. As such, the poem serves as a powerful literary critique of neocolonial practices and ongoing social alienation. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how literature can reflect colonial legacies and the socio-political dynamics of post-independence Indonesia, while also enriching the discourse in postcolonial literary studies.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death globally, with type 2 diabetes being one of the most prevalent conditions. Nutritional management for clients with type 2 diabetes requires strict adherence to the correct schedule, type, and quantity of food. To improve medication adherence, it is essential to implement preventive strategies that promote patient engagement and self-management. One such strategy is the Health Belief Model (HBM), which encourages patients to adopt healthy behaviors based on their perceptions of risk, severity, benefits, and barriers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the Health Belief Model and medication adherence among type 2 diabetic patients in the Galala Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area. A quantitative cross-sectional study design was used, with a sample size of 108 participants selected through simple random sampling. The independent variables in this study were perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, and cues to action, while the dependent variable was medication adherence. The results revealed significant relationships between all the HBM constructs and medication adherence. Specifically, perceived susceptibility (p=0.000), perceived severity (p=0.000), perceived benefits (p=0.000), perceived barriers (p=0.000), and cues to action (p=0.000) all had strong associations with adherence to medication. The findings suggest that the Health Belief Model is a valuable framework for improving medication adherence among type 2 diabetes patients. Additionally, the use of health information technology is an effective strategy to increase patient awareness of the risks of non-adherence and the importance of regular medication intake. A combination of education, social support, technology, and an individualized approach can create a supportive environment that encourages patients to manage their treatment effectively.

This paper provides a comprehensive examination of the concept and implementation of skill management as a cohesive set of competencies encompassing technical, interpersonal, conceptual, and strategic skills within organizational and entrepreneurial contexts. The background highlights the critical role of skill management in addressing the challenges posed by a highly competitive and rapidly evolving business environment, where mastery of these competencies determines both individual and organizational effectiveness in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling resources to achieve collective objectives. Grounded in a literature review of seminal works by Robbins & Coulter, Katz, Drucker, Mintzberg, Armstrong, and Barney & Hesterly, this study adopts a structured approach that covers definitions, classification of skill types, their roles in organizations, development strategies, implementation challenges, and applications in entrepreneurship. The findings indicate that: (1) technical, human, and conceptual skills are complementary across different managerial levels; (2) skill development requires a blend of formal education, field practice, mentorship, and technology utilization; (3) primary challenges include technological adaptation, complexity of decision-making, and limitations in training resources; and (4) in entrepreneurial ventures, effective skill management is fundamental to planning, finance, human resources, innovation, and communication. In conclusion, skill management should not be viewed as a static competency but as a strategic asset that must be continuously enhanced through lifelong learning, enabling both individuals and organizations to sustain growth and resilience in the era of globalization and digital transformation.

This study aims to examine the influence of Perceived Ease and Perceived Usefulness of the Unified e-Bupot System and e-Form on Taxpayer Compliance. The population in this study consisted of corporate taxpayers who utilized the services of tax consultant Edwin Suwandhy. A random sampling technique was applied, resulting in 66 respondents being selected. This research follows a quantitative approach, using questionnaires as the data collection method. The data obtained from the samples were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The study’s findings reveal that the perceived ease of using the Unified e-Bupot system positively influences taxpayer compliance. The greater the understanding and familiarity corporate taxpayers have with the e-Bupot Unification system, the easier they find it to comply with income tax reporting regulations. On the other hand, the perceived usefulness of the e-Bupot Unification system does not have a significant impact on taxpayer compliance. This result suggests that the perceived benefits of the system are not sufficiently compelling to improve corporate taxpayer compliance. Similarly, the perception of ease and usefulness of e-Form also showed no significant effect on taxpayer compliance. This is likely because corporate taxpayers feel that the e-Form system is not easy to use, and the perceived advantages of the system are still considered insufficient to drive compliance. These findings emphasize the importance of improving both the ease of use and the perceived benefits of the e-Bupot and e-Form systems to enhance taxpayer compliance. Future policy improvements should focus on increasing user experience and addressing any gaps in the perceived utility of these tax reporting systems, especially for corporate taxpayers.

This study examines in depth the history and development of Kaing Lunggi—the local term for songket cloth—in the Sambas region, West Kalimantan. This study has two main focuses. First, tracing the history of the cloth and textile trade in Southeast Asia that became the background for the entry of external influences into the Sambas region. Second, understanding how Kaing Lunggi emerged, developed, and transformed within the social, economic, and cultural contexts of the local community. Using a historical approach and textile cultural analysis, this study positions Kaing Lunggi as a cultural product born from the dynamics of regional trade since the Sambas Sultanate era. Historical records show that trade networks during that period connected Sambas with major trading centers such as Malacca, Singapore, and the coastal areas of Borneo. Through this route, there was an exchange of raw materials, weaving techniques, and decorative motifs that were then adapted by local artisans. The process of aculturation is visible in Kaing Lunggi motifs that combine local elements with external influences, such as typical Indonesian flora and fauna combined with geometric patterns and typical Malay stylization. The songket weaving technique demonstrates high skill and has been passed down through generations, making it an important part of intangible cultural heritage. Besides its economic value as a trade commodity, Kaing Lunggi also holds a symbolic role. It is worn in various traditional ceremonies, religious celebrations, and as a marker of social status in Sambas society. The use of color, gold thread, and the complexity of the motifs serve as indicators of the wearer's identity and prestige. The results of this study confirm that traditional textiles such as Kaing Lunggi function not only as cultural artifacts but also as active agents in shaping the history and identity of the community. They represent cross-cultural encounters and serve as evidence of the resilience of local traditions amidst globalization.
