This study aims to analyze Catholic marriage in the perspective of Martin Buber's dialogical philosophy, particularly the concept of “I-Thou,” as an integrative and applicable approach to building family life. Catholic marriage is understood as a sacrament that is monogamous and indissoluble, based on the Holy Scriptures, Church teachings, and the Code of Canon Law. However, various contemporary challenges such as communication crises, technological developments, and internal family conflicts demand a renewal of the way of understanding husband-wife relationships in a more dialogical and personal manner. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature approach, descriptive-analytical in nature, through content analysis and hermeneutics of relevant primary and secondary sources. The results of the study show that the integration of the “I-You” concept in Catholic marriage affirms the husband-wife relationship as an encounter between subjects who are equal, dialogical, and reciprocal. This model places marriage as a responsibility for unity, a practice of dialogue for the bonum coniugum, and a communion that reaches its peak in a relationship with God, so that sacramental teachings are concretely realized in the dynamics of family life.

The transformation of payment systems from cash to digital through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is part of financial transaction modernization in Indonesia. This transformation has begun among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Baduy community, particularly in Baduy Luar, which has higher interaction with external communities. However, the adoption of digital payment systems has not been fully supported by adequate financial management capabilities. This community service activity aims to identify the transformation process of payment systems and describe the financial literacy conditions of Baduy MSMEs. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that some MSMEs have adopted QRIS through Bank BRI as an alternative payment method alongside cash and have utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing. The main sources of income include handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, financial management practices remain simple and lack systematic recording. This indicates improved financial inclusion but not yet accompanied by adequate financial behavior. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is essential to support sustainable financial modernization in the Baduy community.

This study analyzes visual signs in the Charlie Chaplin animations Safari at The Park and The King in The Ring using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic framework, focusing on icons, indexes, and symbols. Film and animation communicate meaning through visual elements such as gestures, facial expressions, movements, and character interactions, making them rich for semiotic analysis. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research identified and categorized visual signs in both animations. Results show that icons, which resemble real-world objects, dominate by establishing story settings natural safari environments in one animation and competitive boxing arenas in the other. Indexes reveal cause-and-effect relationships, demonstrating how gestures, expressions, and actions convey danger, fatigue, or emotional shifts. Symbols convey conventional or cultural meanings, such as Charlie Chaplin’s bowler hat and cane representing his comedic identity, a championship belt symbolizing victory, or a rose indicating affection. While both animations use the same types of signs, the intensity and focus vary with the narrative context: Safari at The Park emphasizes situational and natural elements, whereas The King in The Ring highlights competition and emotional reactions. This study confirms that Peirce’s triadic model effectively explains how meaning is constructed in animation through dynamic visual communication.

Type II Diabetes Mellitus is one of the chronic diseases whose prevalence continues to increase and has become a global health issue. A common complication in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus is peripheral circulatory disorders, which can be identified through the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) examination—a non-invasive method used to detect peripheral artery disease. ABI testing is essential for early detection and prevention of serious complications such as diabetic ulcers. This study aims to describe the Ankle Brachial Index values in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2025. This research used a descriptive quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. The study sample consisted of 52 respondents from a total population of 109 patients diagnosed with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. Data collection was conducted through observation sheets and measurement of systolic blood pressure in the upper and lower extremities using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. The ABI value was calculated based on the ratio between the highest ankle systolic pressure and the highest brachial systolic pressure. Data were analyzed using tabulation techniques and presented in tables and diagrams. The results showed that the majority of respondents had normal ABI values (>0.90), totaling 33 individuals (63.5%), while 19 individuals (36.5%) experienced abnormal ABI values (≤0.90).Conclusion:The study concludes that most patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan had ABI values within the normal range. However, a considerable proportion with abnormal ABI indicates the necessity of routine ABI screening as a preventive measure against peripheral vascular complications in diabetic patients. This study is expected to serve as a reference in developing nursing interventions aimed at improving the quality of life for patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus.

Entering the third decade of the 21st century, the church faces the urgency of redefining its existence amidst the shift to a digital ecosystem. This research aims to analyze the synergy between church management and transformational leadership toward the effectiveness of leader multiplication in the Digital 4.0 era. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through library research, this study explores the integration of modern management theories and theological principles. The findings indicate that church management serves as a vital infrastructure providing operational stability, while transformational leadership acts as a catalyst for innovation and behavioral change in facing VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) conditions. The synergy between these two elements creates a “Digital Shepherding” model, where the digital space is transformed into a theological medium for character formation and spiritual transmission. The study concludes that the effectiveness of leader multiplication is determined by a shift from person-centered leadership to a system-inspired approach that integrates digital capabilities with biblical integrity. Strategic implications suggest that churches must adopt a digital mindset and establish digital leadership laboratories to ensure the sustainability of their mission among Generation Z.

The phenomenon of emotional healing has become increasingly prominent in popular culture as the younger generation experiences increasing loss, emotional exhaustion, and numbness. Popular music serves as a medium of expression, representing these emotional dynamics through poetic language and symbolic structures. This study aims to analyze the emotional representation of healing in Umay Shahab's song "Perayaan Mati Rasa" using Roland Barthes's semiotic approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, analyzing three layers of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth, through breaking down the lyrics into several lexicons and reading signs. The results show that (1) denotatively, the lyrics construct an emotional arc from inner tension to self-contemplation; (2) connotatively, the use of diction and imagery represents vulnerability, resilience, and emotional reflection; and (3) at the mythical level, the song constructs release as a form of emotional maturity and loss as a process of identity formation. Thus, this song functions as a cultural representation in interpreting the process of emotional healing in popular culture.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of PSAK 409 to achieve accountability and transparency in the financial reporting of zakat, infaq, and sedekah (ZIS) at NU CARE–LAZISNU MWCNU Babat. A qualitative approach utilizing case studies and descriptive analysis was the research methodology used. The Miles and Huberman methodology, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, was used to examine data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that ZIS LAZISNU MWCNU Babat's financial management and reporting procedures are still not fully compliant with PSAK 409. Complete financial reports, such as the statement of financial position, statement of changes in funds, cash flow statement, and notes to the financial statements, have not been published, and financial recording is still done simply and manually. This results in the institution's less-than-ideal accountability and transparency. Limited human resources, lack of knowledge of sharia accounting rules, and inadequate record-keeping systems are the main obstacles hindering the implementation of PSAK 409. Therefore, to create more accountable and transparent financial reports and increase public trust in zakat management institutions, efforts are needed to strengthen the record-keeping system, improve human resource competency, and support the implementation of PSAK 409.

This study aims to analyze the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata using a critical hermeneutic approach developed by Jürgen Habermas. The focus of this research is to uncover the critical meaning contained in the novel as a reflection of social reality, especially in the field of education. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through literature studies and text analysis in the form of excerpts in novels. The results of the study show that the novel Laskar Pelangi not only presents an inspiring story, but also contains criticism of the education system in Indonesia which is still colored by inequality and injustice. In the aspect of communicative action, it was found that there was a dialogical interaction between teachers and students as well as the value of solidarity and strong struggle. However, in the aspect of communication distortion, there is injustice in access to education and a lack of space for poor groups to voice their interests. In addition, the analysis also reveals the existence of ideology and domination, especially economic dominance over education and social systems that oppress the lower groups. On the other hand, the emancipatory interest in this novel is reflected through education as a tool of liberation and the struggle of its characters in fighting against limitations. Thus, this study concludes that the novel Laskar Pelangi has an important role as a social criticism medium that is able to build readers' critical awareness of the reality of education and social inequality that occurs in society.

The Qiroati method is an instructional approach to reading the Qur’an that emphasizes direct practice of tartil recitation in accordance with the rules of tajwid. This method is practical, systematic, and implemented gradually, meaning that learners are not allowed to proceed to the next level before achieving fluency at the current stage. One of the main challenges in learning to read and memorize the Qur’an is the limited use of structured teaching methods, as some teachers still rely primarily on personal experience and conventional reading approaches. This condition contributes to students’ lack of fluency in reading and memorizing the Qur’an, as well as decreased learning motivation due to monotonous and less effective instructional practices. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Qiroati method in improving students’ Qur’anic reading ability within the Tahfidzul Qur’an program at SMP Daruttaqwa Full Day School. The findings are expected to provide useful insights for educators and contribute to academic knowledge. This research employs a field research design with a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on describing the application of the Qiroati method in enhancing students’ reading ability in relation to Qur’an memorization. Data were collected through interviews, tests, and documentation, while data analysis involved data collection, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the Qiroati method effectively improves students’ ability to read the Qur’an in the Tahfidzul Qur’an program. This is evidenced by the improvement in students’ reading scores compared to their previous performance. In practice, the method involves teachers modeling correct recitation, followed by students reading collectively. Therefore, the Qiroati method not only enhances students’ accuracy in reading the Qur’an but also fosters a more engaging and effective learning environment.

This study analyzes the news text on the online mass media detik.com titled "Jule's Infidelity Issue, Na Daehoon: I am strong for the sake of the children" using Sara Mills' Critical Discourse Analysis model. This research aims to reveal how the discourse of infidelity is constructed in media texts thru subject and object positioning, how character representation is displayed, how the reader's position is directed, the use of narrative structure, and the social context and gender ideology underlying the construction of this discourse. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the data source being a news text published on detik.com. Data collection techniques were carried out thru document study by carefully reading and recording linguistic units relevant to the research focus, while data analysis techniques used Sara Mills' Critical Discourse Analysis model. The research findings indicate that Na Daehoon is positioned as the dominant subject, possesses voice legitimacy, and is positively represented as a strong and responsible male figure. Conversely, Jule is positioned as the object of news coverage, receiving no opportunity for clarification and being implicitly represented as the problematic party. Additionally, the narrative structure and language choices used in the news text also guide readers to build sympathy toward the male subject. The findings indicate that the analyzed news coverage is not neutral, but rather tends to reproduce patriarchal gender ideologies that could potentially influence society's perception of women in cases of infidelity.

This study aims to analyze the short story “Siapakah Keluarga dari Tubuh yang Kacau Itu?” by Radja Sinaga using structural and moral approaches in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of its content and meaning. The structural approach is employed to examine intrinsic elements, including theme, characters and characterization, plot, setting, point of view, language style, and message. Meanwhile, the moral approach is used to reveal the ethical values and life lessons contained in the short story. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through library research by means of intensive reading and systematic note-taking of the text. The results show that the short story demonstrates a strong structural unity, with the main theme focusing on human suffering caused by war and the loss of family. In addition, several moral values are identified, such as humanity, familial love, criticism of violence, loss of identity, and resilience in facing suffering. The use of the second-person point of view also strengthens the reader’s emotional engagement with the story. Therefore, the combination of structural and moral approaches provides a deeper understanding of the meaning of the short story and its relevance to real-life contexts. This study is expected to enrich literary studies and enhance readers’ appreciation of literary works.

This study aims to analyze promiscuous sexual behavior among adolescents as a manifestation of problematic behavior through a literature review approach. The method used was a literature review with a descriptive-analytical design, analyzing 20 national scientific articles published between 2007 and 2024. The analysis process was conducted systematically through the stages of identifying relevant sources, classifying themes, extracting important data, and synthesizing findings to build a comprehensive conceptual framework. The study results were then grouped into four main aspects: internal factors, external factors, impacts, and prevention strategies. The study results indicate that promiscuous sexual behavior among adolescents is influenced by internal factors such as knowledge, attitudes, and moral reasoning, as well as external factors such as family environment, peers, social media, and lack of parental supervision. The resulting impacts are multidimensional, encompassing health (sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies), psychological (anxiety, guilt), and social (stigma and educational disruption). Effective prevention efforts involve comprehensive sex education, active family involvement, and collaboration between schools and the community.

This research is based on the reality that classroom management often tests teachers' emotional stability, especially when dealing with highly active students. This study focuses on how teachers use emotional intelligence to control themselves when facing challenging learning situations. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of emotional regulation carried out by teachers and their influence on the effectiveness of classroom management. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through observations and interviews with teachers. The results show that effective emotional management is carried out through several methods, such as increasing self-awareness to recognize stress triggers, pausing before responding to student behavior, and trying to understand the background of student activity through empathy. Teachers with good emotional intelligence tend to be able to direct student activity into more positive learning participation, rather than responding to it with reactive or authoritarian responses. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening psychological aspects and emotional management skills in teacher professional development programs. Emotional maturity not only helps create a more harmonious classroom atmosphere but also forms the basis for inclusive learning interactions and supports the continuous development of student character.

This study aims to examine the service performance of the Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Agency (DPPPA) of Gorontalo Regency in handling cases of violence against children. The study focuses on addressing the service performance from several aspects; (a) productivity, (b) service quality, (c) responsiveness, (d) responsibility, and € accountability. This study was conducted based on the persistently high number of cases of violence against children, which require effective, responsive, and accountable public service handling from the local government. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that service productivity is fairly good, as reflected in a clear case-handling flow, though it remains constrained by limited human resources and cross-sector coordination. Service quality is considered positive in terms of empathetic attitudes and the availability of private service spaces; however, the quality of physical facilities and the availability of professional personnel still need improvement. Officers’ responsiveness is relatively quick at the initial stage, but follow-up information on cases is not consistently provided. Responsibility for implementing procedures is in accordance with standard operating procedures, although completion times are often lengthy. Meanwhile, administrative accountability functions well, but the transparency of information to victims still needs to be strengthened.
