Osteoarthritis of the knee is a degenerative condition of the knee joint characterized by the thinning of cartilage, leading to friction between the femur and tibia. This condition results in pain, limited joint mobility, and reduced strength of the quadriceps and hamstring muscles. Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in reducing these symptoms through modality-based approaches and structured exercise therapy. This study is a case study involving a single patient with right knee osteoarthritis. Data were collected through direct observation and evaluation of therapeutic outcomes. Interventions were conducted over four sessions using Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) to reduce pain, Ultrasound to enhance blood circulation and reduce inflammation, and exercise therapy focusing on improving muscle strength and joint range of motion. After four therapy sessions, there was a reduction in pain intensity, improved strength of the quadriceps and hamstrings, and increased joint range of motion. These results demonstrate that the combination of TENS, ultrasound, and exercise therapy is effective in improving function and quality of life for patients with right knee osteoarthritis. This study emphasizes the importance of a multimodal physiotherapy approach in managing chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

This study examines the role of classification, definition, and analogy as logical pillars that constitute the fundamental framework of knowledge. These three instruments of logic are closely interconnected in supporting the process of scientific reasoning. Classification functions to organize objects or phenomena into systematic categories, thereby facilitating identification. Definition provides clear boundaries of meaning to prevent conceptual ambiguity and ensure consistency of interpretation among researchers and practitioners. Meanwhile, analogy serves as a reasoning tool that bridges existing knowledge with new insights through rational comparison. This article employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review of both classical and modern logic theories. The findings indicate that the integration of classification, definition, and analogy not only strengthens the consistency of scientific reasoning but also contributes significantly to education, communication, and the development of interdisciplinary knowledge. Thus, these three pillars of logic hold a strategic position in building a foundation of rationality and promoting the advancement of knowledge that is both comprehensive and applicablee.

The purpose of this research is to create an interactive Augmented Reality (AR)-based educational application that can display the Indonesian folktale "Keong Mas" using Unity 3D and Vuforia SDK. Due to the dominance of modern digital entertainment that is more visually appealing, the younger generation's interest in traditional folktales is declining. The choice of AR technology is based on its ability to combine three-dimensional virtual objects with the real environment in real-time, resulting in an interactive, engaging, and memorable learning experience. The research process used is the Life Cycle of Multimedia Development (MDLC), which consists of six stages: ideation, design, material collection, compilation, testing, and deployment. 3D character models, background environments, and interactive stories appear in the application when the camera detects certain markers. Testing was conducted using the black-box method to ensure all functions, including marker tracking, scene transitions, and narration playback, run smoothly. The test results show that the AR application "Keong Mas" successfully displays the folktale interactively and engagingly, thereby increasing the learning interest of children and adolescents. This application not only serves as an innovative learning medium but also contributes to the preservation of local culture through the integration of digital technology.

The Qur’an is not only a source of law and moral guidance for Muslims but also a manifestation of harmony between aesthetics and ethics that shapes human spirituality. This study aims to explore the integration of aesthetic and ethical functions in Qur’anic recitation (tilawah), examining the relationship between the beauty of voice and the nobility of character in articulating the divine revelation. Using a descriptive qualitative method through a literature study, the research finds that the aesthetic aspect is reflected in the application of tajwid, melodic arrangement (maqamat), vocal beauty, and rhythmic harmony. Meanwhile, the ethical aspect is expressed through sincerity, humility, respectfulness in recitation, and the embodiment of Qur’anic values in daily life. The findings reveal that true beauty in Qur’anic recitation lies not merely in the pleasantness of the voice or technical mastery but in the purity of intention and spiritual depth of the reciter. The integration of aesthetics and ethics serves as a crucial foundation for nurturing spiritual depth, moral character, and cultural appreciation of the Qur’an, particularly in the context of Islamic education and da’wah. Thus, reading the Qur’an with both aesthetic and ethical awareness is not only an artistic expression but also an act of worship that unites beauty, morality, and devotion to Allah SWT in a holistic manner.

This research aims to examine how betrayal is represented in the film The Last Supper (2025). The study employs a qualitative approach using John Fiske’s semiotic theory, which focuses on three levels of codes: reality, representation, and ideology. Data were collected through visual observation of the film’s scenes and analyzed to identify signs and underlying meanings within the actions of the characters. The findings reveal a total of nine betrayal scenes, segmented into 52 image shots that were analyzed in depth. These scenes primarily depict the betrayals committed by Judas Iscariot and Peter against Jesus Christ. The analysis shows that betrayal is not merely presented as a dramatic motif but is constructed as an ideological representation that reflects power relations, social pressure, and human moral dilemmas. The film serves as a cultural text that constructs meaning through visual symbols, gestures, expressions, and dialogue. As such, it can be interpreted as a form of social criticism against systems of power that influence individual behavior. Therefore, the film functions not only as entertainment but also as a discursive space that voices fundamental human issues.

Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder often accompanied by various psychopathological manifestations, one of which is auditory hallucinations that limit social functioning and reduce the quality of life of affected individuals. Dhikr therapy, as a psychoreligious approach, is believed to provide inner peace and reduce the intensity of hallucinatory symptoms. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of dhikr therapy among schizophrenia patients with auditory hallucinations who were treated at Aceh Mental Hospital. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest model and purposive sampling technique, involving 15 patients experiencing auditory hallucinations. The intervention was conducted for three consecutive days, with each session lasting 10–20 minutes and consisting of a sequence of dhikr recitations including istighfar, tasbih, tahmid, and takbir. The severity of hallucinations was measured using the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS). Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant decrease in auditory hallucination scores with a p-value of 0.001. These findings indicate that dhikr therapy is effective in helping patients manage hallucinatory symptoms and may serve as a non-pharmacological therapeutic alternative in psychiatric nursing care for schizophrenia patients

Hyperkeratotic hand dermatitis (HHD) is a chronic hand eczema subtype marked by thick hyperkeratotic plaques, painful fissures, and minimal erythema or vesiculation. It is diagnostically challenging due to overlap with palmoplantar psoriasis and keratoderma and is strongly linked to repeated irritant exposure in wet work. A 60-year-old male taro leaf farmer presented with itching and burning on the palms and backs of both hands, spreading to the forearms for 2–3 weeks. Examination revealed papules, hyperpigmented plaques, erythematous macules, irregular scaling, and about 1 cm palmar fissures on both hands. The working diagnosis was chronic hyperkeratotic hand dermatitis. Initial treatment included oral cetirizine, topical betamethasone valerate, and Vaseline gel, plus education on using long rubber gloves at work. HHD results from skin barrier dysfunction and keratinocyte hyperproliferation caused by repeated irritant exposure. In this case, exposure to taro leaves and prolonged rubber glove use likely maintained irritation and occlusion. Differential diagnoses include palmoplantar psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and tinea manuum. Management involves potent corticosteroids, antihistamines, occlusive emollients, and occupational modifications such as replacing gloves and limiting occlusion time. Identifying occupational factors in HHD is essential. Effective management requires combined topical therapy, symptom control, and strict workplace modifications, along with patient education and allergy screening if needed.

This center is an educational facility for Indonesian immigrant children in Malaysia who do not have official citizenship documents. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The purpose of this study is to determine the education model used by the PERMAI Guidance Center as a community-based non-formal education institution for Indonesian immigrant children in Malaysia. The theory used in this study is the concept of Community-Based Non-Formal Education (PBK). The results of the study show that the educational curriculum used by the PERMAI Guidance Center is the Equivalency Education Curriculum (Packages A, B, and C). This curriculum is a non-formal education system equivalent to formal education (Package A is equivalent to elementary school, Package B is equivalent to junior high school, and Package C is equivalent to high school) recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The adoption of this curriculum is the main pillar for providing legitimacy and recognition of the education received by immigrant children at the PERMAI Guidance Center. Meanwhile, the education model used reflects the theory of transnationalism. This is manifested in two key aspects, namely the preservation of identity and the curriculum of the country of origin, as well as functional needs in the host country.

Bell's Palsy is a sudden onset of peripheral facial nerve paralysis that is generally unilateral. This condition is characterized by facial muscle weakness, asymmetry, difficulty closing the eyes, and facial expression disorders. Associated risk factors include exposure to cold temperatures and the habit of chewing ice cubes, which can trigger vasospasm of the blood vessels and inflammation of the facial nerve.  Physiotherapy management is important to accelerate recovery, prevent complications such as synkinesis and contractures, and improve the patient's quality of life. This study aims to describe the implementation of physiotherapy in cases of Bell's Palsy at PKU Muhammadiyah Selogiri Hospital and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy intervention on the recovery of facial function in patients. A case report was conducted on a 41-year-old female patient diagnosed with right-sided Bell's Palsy. The examination included anamnesis, static and dynamic inspection, palpation, basic movement examination, sensory examination, and assessment using the House-Brackmann Facial Grading System (HBGS). Physiotherapy interventions were given three times a week, including Infra Red (IR), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), light massage, facial exercises (raising eyebrows, closing eyes, blowing, smiling), and education on preventing exposure to cold. Evaluation was performed using Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) and Ugo Fisch. The implementation of physiotherapy with a combination of IR, TENS, massage, and facial exercises is effective in gradually improving the facial function of patients with Bell's Palsy. Physiotherapy also plays a role in educating patients about the prevention of recurrence related to environmental risk factors and lifestyle.
