This study aims to analyze the discourse framing of Kompas.com news texts related to the hashtag “Kabur Aja Dulu”, which was published in the period 17 February - 17 March 2025. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with Teun A. Van Dijk analysis model. The research data was obtained through digital documentation of Kompas.com articles using the hashtag “Kabur Aja Dulu”, then analyzed through three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis was conducted systematically using Van Dijk's structural framework which includes three levels of analysis: macro structure, superstructure, and microstructure. The analysis shows that Kompas.com tends to use language and interview techniques that reflect the government's perspective, with complex discourse framing patterns that reflect power dynamics in news production. Through the analysis of Van Dijk's model, it can be seen that the media uses various linguistic and structural strategies to build a narrative that is in line with the government's perspective, including the use of formal language, structured interview techniques, and the construction of a strong narrative about the urgency of handling the phenomenon. Overall, this study reveals how the mass media play an important role in the social construction of reality through the way they frame and convey information to the public.

This study aims to analyze the Reconstruction of Contempt of Court Regulations  in Indonesia. Contempt of court is defined as an act of contempt against the judiciary. In Indonesia, the meaning of contempt of court is only interpreted narrowly so that it is considered less inclusive of all judicial organizers. This type of research is normative legal research with a legislative, conceptual, comparative and case approach. The results of the study are that the position of the contempt of court regulation in Indonesia has been contained in a chapter in the latest Criminal Code, but its application has not been supported by formal procedures. The meaning of contempt of court in Indonesia is only interpreted narrowly, this can be seen in the latest Padal 281 of the Criminal Code which only seems to protect judges, the contempt of court regulation should  also protect all judicial organizers who are directly involved in a judicial process, namely the prosecutor, legal representatives, victims, witnesses, and all trial participants. Next, contempt of court in Indonesia also only accommodates criminal contempt and sets aside civil contempt so that there is no deterrent effect for people, officials and others who do not comply with judicial decisions. Therefore, there is a need for special arrangements related to contempt of court in Indonesia that regulate crimes (criminal contempt) and non-compliance with court orders (civil contempt).

In advertising, females are frequently positioned as the center of attention to establish product image through culturally recognized signs and symbols. Advertisements transcend their promotional function, acting as media that both reflect and influence societal perceptions, including gender roles within daily life. This is exemplified in the Vicks VapoRub advertisement titled "Mother's Amazing Hands," which portrays women as mothers perpetually prepared to care for their families. This study investigates the representation of the mother's role within the aforementioned advertisement using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The research aims to twofold: 1) identify the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings embedded within the Vicks VapoRub "Mother's Amazing Hands" ad; and 2) analyze the portrayal of the mother figure through the lens of Barthes' semiotic framework. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing Barthes' semiotic analysis method alongside concepts of social construction of reality, cinematography techniques, and the societal role of mothers. Through the analysis of verbal, non-verbal, audio, and visual elements within the advertisement, the study revealed the multifaceted representation of the mother's role. This includes functions of caregiving, nurturing, and treatment of family members, ultimately portraying the tangible actions a mother takes in providing for her family.

The Mekong River is at the heart of the survival of the people of six countries that live around the upper and lower reaches of the Mekong River including Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Cambodia. The Mekong River is utilized to meet the national food security of six countries. One of the countries that utilize the Mekong River is China by building dams to meet the flow of environmentally friendly electricity for the Chinese people by utilizing dams for hydroelectric power plants built in the upper reaches of the Mekong River. This research uses the theory of neoliberalism and food security by using descriptive qualitative methodology to explain the impact of China's dam construction on the food security of countries downstream of the Mekong River. The impact of China's dam construction has an impact on the food security of countries downstream of the Mekong River because the majority of them utilize the Mekong River to meet their food needs and have professions as farmers and fishermen. The impact of the dam construction has an impact on changes in water quality that pollute the irrigation of rice fields of countries downstream of the Mekong River. In addition, many fish that live in the Mekong River immigrate to places with good water quality. Although China is a member of the Mekong River Commission, China has been unable to overcome the problems caused by the construction of dams at several points on the Mekong River.

Rice husk ash (RHA) is an agricultural waste rich in silica with potential as a partial cement substitute in mortar to support sustainable construction. This study evaluates the effect of varying RHA content on the compressive strength and porosity of mortar at 28 and 240 days of age. Mortar was prepared with RHA substitutions of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by cement weight. Compressive strength was tested according to SK SNI 03-2834-2000, while porosity testing followed ASTM C642 standard. The results showed that 20% RHA substitution provided high compressive strength with acceptable porosity. In contrast, 30% RHA significantly increased porosity and sharply reduced compressive strength. These findings suggest that using RHA in the range of 10–20% can improve material efficiency without compromising mechanical performance. The study supports the development of environmentally friendly construction materials through the optimal use of agricultural waste.

Waqf is an act of worship that has a social and economic pattern because in the development of Islamic civilisation, from the development of science to its heyday, it cannot be separated from the role of Rasullulah and his companions who continued to struggle to spread Islam throughout the world, one of which was by using the waqf method because the waqf property or object is often used as a centre for the development of science and Islam in ancient times, for example the construction of mosque buildings and financing wars. Because waqf is an act of worship that is highly recommended for every Muslim. In addition, waqf worship is also explained in the Koran that people who endow their assets for the benefit of the ummah who have benefits, the rewards will continue to flow even though the person has died, which makes people flock to carry out waqf worship. However, it is not uncommon for there to be a lot of abuse committed by nazirs, starting from their unprofessional attitude because nazirs are often used as additional income for them to hoard wealth. So it is very important to find a nadzhir as a zakat manager who has a trustworthy nature because actually this waqf must continue to be developed to be more productive and useful, therefore the Indonesian government continues to make efforts to revise the rules regarding nazir because there are still many irregularities committed largely due to weak administrative sanctions and criminal sanctions for them.

The phenomenon of flexing, or showcasing achievements and lifestyle excessively on social media, has become an increasingly common trend among Generation Z. This study explores the relationship between self-esteem and flexing behavior, along with its impact on identity formation and mental health. Individuals with high self-esteem tend to share their accomplishments as a form of self-appreciation. However, without adequate emotional awareness and self-regulation, this behavior can escalate into narcissism and a dependence on external validation. Generation Z utilizes social media, especially Instagram, as a medium for self-expression, identity construction, and social recognition. In the context of jogging activities, posts on social media are not merely for showing off but serve as personal documentation, motivation, and inspiration for others. Jogging is not only viewed as a physical activity but also as a part of modern lifestyle and status symbol, often displayed through branded sportswear, smart devices, and aesthetic locations. Nevertheless, social pressure to maintain a certain image through social media can lead to psychological impacts such as identity crises, insecurity, and social stress. Previous research indicates that flexing behavior is driven by a desire for recognition, feelings of insecurity, obsession with others' possessions, and social pressure. Despite its negative sides, flexing also has potential positive effects, such as enhancing motivation to exercise, promoting healthy lifestyles, and strengthening supportive digital communities. Regular jogging has been proven to improve mental and physical health, including reducing anxiety and improving mood. Therefore, a healthy self-concept, emotional intelligence, and digital literacy are crucial for fostering responsible social media behavior. Generation Z must be equipped with critical awareness to distinguish between authentic self-expression and the illusion of recognition in today’s visually driven digital era.

Digital transformation has reconstructed the marketing landscape, presenting TikTok as a narrative and affective space in shaping consumption decisions. This study investigates the interaction between Storytelling Marketing (STM), Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in mediating One Piece comic purchase intention. With a PLS-SEM approach to 385 respondents, it was found that STM and e-WOM not only have a direct impact on purchasing decisions, but also form a psychological resonance in the form of FOMO which strengthens consumptive urges. TikTok in this case is not just a medium, but an affective field where perceptions, emotions, and social impulses intertwine, blurring the line between narrative and economic decisions. This finding confirms the role of content strategy as a construction of meaning that activates symbolic ownership through collective emotional urgency.

This study departs from the mubadalah approach in interpreting hadiths related to gender relations from the perspective of Faqihuddin Abdul Qadir's thought. Through a literature review and descriptive-analytical analysis method, this research examines how mubadalah, as a hermeneutic method, can offer a fair, contextual, and equitable reading of religious texts. In Faqihuddin's view, mubadalah is based on the principles of reciprocity and mutual relations between men and women, rejecting both gender hegemony and subordination. This approach serves as a critical response to the patriarchal constructions in Islamic interpretations that have marginalized women. The findings indicate that mubadalah can bridge the gap between conservative textual approaches and radical liberal readings, and is relevant for realizing justice and gender equality in the lives of Muslims

The pandemic that occurred in Indonesia brought almost all activities in the country to a halt, with many sectors unable to survive, including human life statistics and various businesses. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) were among the most vulnerable aspects during the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses in Indonesia experienced a significant decline, with some even facing the worst-case scenario of closure. The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (2018) stated that data from 2018 showed that MSMEs accounted for 99.9% of the total business units, or 62.9 million units. The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies of construction-related MSMEs to resist the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic (a case study on DAMAI ALUMINIUM MSMEs in Bandar Lampung). The research design employed in this study is a qualitative research design. The research method chosen by the researcher is phenomenological research, focusing on exploring the meaning of events and life experiences encountered by DAMAI ALUMINIUM MSMEs. The conclusion of this study is that with simple strategies and highly risky decisions, DAMAI ALUMINIUM MSMEs managed to survive much longer than other businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although they did not generate significant income, DAMAI ALUMINIUM MSMEs have continued to operate up to the present.
