This study evaluates public sentiment toward Constitutional Court Decision No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the age limit for presidential and vice-presidential candidates, a controversial issue closely related to Indonesia’s democratic dynamics. Understanding public opinion on Twitter, as a major platform for political expression, is essential for informing electoral policy formulation. Data were collected using Tweet Harvest through Google Colab and analyzed using the Naïve Bayes algorithm as the primary sentiment classification method, with RapidMiner employed to support and streamline the analytical process. The analysis process included data cleaning, text normalization, stopword removal, manual labeling of 80 tweets as training data, and automatic sentiment classification to identify positive and negative sentiments. From a total of 151 analyzed tweets, 84 (55.63%) were classified as negative and 67 (44.37%) as positive, with the model achieving an accuracy of 66.67%. These findings suggest a tendency toward public opposition to the decision, reflecting dissatisfaction among Twitter users. The study demonstrates that Naïve Bayes is reasonably effective for sentiment classification with limited datasets and provides insights for policymakers in understanding public responses to election-related regulations.

The growth of the culinary industry requires small-scale food businesses to implement effective and efficient operational management. This study analyzes the optimization of operational management at Teen Canteen by examining the use of digital systems, staff performance, the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and operational constraints. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through semi-structured interviews and direct observation. The informant was purposively selected, namely the Head Bar, who is directly involved in daily operational activities. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that Teen Canteen’s operational management has not been optimally implemented due to the discontinuation of digital cashier systems, reliance on manual transaction and inventory records, and inconsistent SOP implementation. Although staff performance is generally adequate, issues related to discipline and service responsiveness remain. This study recommends reintroducing digital cashier systems and establishing written SOPs to improve operational effectiveness.

Land conflict between the Sihaporas indigenous community and PT Toba Pulp Lestari (TPL) remains an ongoing agrarian issue that directly affects the community’s livelihoods. The inclusion of the company’s concession within the customary territory has changed patterns of land control and use that were previously managed collectively across generations. This situation restricts access to agricultural land and forests, reduces sources of income, and creates social tensions and confrontations. This study aims to analyze the impacts of land conflict on the Sihaporas indigenous community and to examine the conflict through a political ecology perspective with a focus on power relations among actors. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that the conflict affects economic, social, and cultural aspects of the community and reflects unequal power relations between indigenous peoples, corporations, and the state in controlling agrarian resources.

The factors influencing lowland rice production in Padang City are the focus of this study. The study was conducted through a field survey of lowland rice farmers to obtain primary data relevant to farming activities. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the dependent variable being lowland rice production (Y) and independent variables including land area (X₁), seeds (X₂), fertilizer (X₃), labor (X₄), and farming experience (X₅). The research findings show that simultaneously all production factors, including land area, seeds, fertilizer, labor, and farming experience, have a significant effect on lowland rice production in Padang City. Partially, the variables of fertilizer and labor have a significant effect on lowland rice production, while land area, seeds, and farming experience have no significant effect. These findings indicate that the increase in lowland rice production in Padang City is more determined by input intensification efforts, particularly through appropriate fertilization and labor availability, compared to land expansion. As a result, agricultural policies need to be directed at increasing input efficiency to support the productivity and sustainability of rice farming.

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing on firm value and to examine the mediating role of profitability. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consists of six cosmetic companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period, selected using purposive sampling based on data availability. The analytical technique used is Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4. The study utilizes secondary data obtained from the companies’ annual financial reports. The results indicate that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Digital marketing also shows a positive effect on profitability; however, this effect is not statistically significant. Meanwhile, profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. The indirect effect test yields a coefficient (O) of 0.239, a t-statistic of 1.914, and a p-value of 0.056, indicating that profitability does not mediate the relationship between digital marketing and firm value. These findings suggest that digital marketing strategies have a more dominant direct effect on enhancing firm value than an indirect effect through profitability.
