The integration of digital technology in education serves as a strategic solution to enhance learning access, particularly for students in regions with limited educational infrastructure, such as Sorong City, Southwest Papua. This community service program was designed to introduce and provide training to junior high school students in the use of the Thunkable application as a tool for mobile-based learning media. Thunkable is a visual drag-and-drop platform that enables users to design functional mobile applications without the need for prior programming knowledge. The method employed in this activity is based on the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In the Define stage, the needs and digital readiness of the target group were assessed. The Design and Develop stages involved creating a training module and conducting hands-on workshops where students were guided step-by-step to create simple educational apps. In the final Disseminate stage, the outcomes were evaluated and shared for broader use. The results of this initiative revealed high levels of enthusiasm among the participants. Students were actively engaged and demonstrated the ability to independently design simple learning applications by the end of the training. This indicates that the use of Thunkable not only increases students' digital literacy but also enhances their self-directed learning, creativity, and technological confidence. Overall, this activity illustrates the potential of mobile learning tools to support inclusive and adaptive education in remote communities. By equipping students with practical digital skills, it lays the foundation for long-term educational innovation and empowerment. Therefore, the use of Thunkable can be considered an effective and accessible alternative to foster meaningful learning experiences across diverse educational contexts.

This Final Project report discusses the visual design process by the author as Director of Photography (DoP) in the creation of a feature video entitled "Bamboo Melody: Reviving a Traditional Symphony." This work aims to highlight the challenges faced in preserving the art of angklung music in the modern era, particularly the low interest of Generation Z in traditional culture. Angklung, which is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages, is experiencing a regeneration crisis, where the successors of this tradition are decreasing. In this context, it is important to convey the meaning and cultural values of angklung to the younger generation in a relevant and engaging way. The method of writing this report uses a descriptive approach that includes three production stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Each stage is designed systematically and reflectively to ensure that the intended message is well received by the audience. In the pre-production stage, the author designed a visual concept that aligns with the theme and purpose of the work, namely to depict the meaningful philosophy of the angklung sound. In the production stage, shooting techniques were carefully selected to ensure aesthetics and clear communication in each frame. The results of the application of appropriate shooting techniques are proven to be able to present the philosophical value of angklung aesthetically and communicatively. Through powerful visuals, viewers can experience the depth of meaning behind this traditional musical instrument. Furthermore, this work concludes with testimonials from young angklung players and an angklung performance at Saung Angklung Udjo, illustrating concrete efforts to preserve angklung culture. This section emphasizes the importance of youth involvement in cultural regeneration, demonstrating that with a creative approach, the angklung's sound philosophy can be revived and well-received by Generation Z. Therefore, this work not only conveys solutions in the form of discourse but also provides a concrete illustration of cultural preservation through contemporary media that is accessible and understandable to the younger generation.

This study investigates the correlation between mental health and turnover intention among working students at STIE IBMI Medan who fulfill dual roles as both students and employees. These individuals are particularly vulnerable to psychological stress arising from academic responsibilities and workplace demands. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of mental health on their tendency to resign from their jobs. An associative quantitative research method was adopted, with data collected through structured interviews involving 71 respondents. The analysis was conducted using simple linear regression via the SPSS application. The findings reveal that mental health has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, with a significance value of 0.001. This suggests that students who experience better mental health are less likely to consider leaving their jobs. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 14.6%, indicating that mental health explains 14.6% of the variation in turnover intention. The remaining 85.4% may be attributed to other contributing factors, such as high work pressure from supervisors, poor work-life balance, financial stress, inflexible schedules, and lack of organizational support. The implication of these results is that efforts to support and maintain the psychological well-being of working students are essential for reducing employee turnover. Educational institutions and employers should collaborate to create supportive environments through counseling services, flexible scheduling, mental health awareness programs, and policies that accommodate the dual responsibilities of student workers. By addressing these mental health concerns, institutions can improve student performance and job retention simultaneously. This study highlights the importance of integrating mental health strategies in workforce and academic management, especially for populations that manage competing academic and professional obligations.

Anxiety experienced by pregnant women is a common psychological problem and can have a significant negative impact on maternal health and fetal development. This anxiety can be caused by various factors, including physical changes, concerns about the delivery process, and new responsibilities as parents. Therefore, it is important to find effective ways to address this anxiety. One non-pharmacological approach that can be implemented is the use of lemon aromatherapy, which is known to have calming and relaxing properties. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of pregnant women in utilizing lemon aromatherapy as a method to reduce their anxiety. This activity was held in June 2025 at PMB Lismarini, involving 20 pregnant women who actively participated in this program. The method used in this activity included several stages: education on the benefits of aromatherapy, demonstrations on how to use it, hands-on practice using lemon aromatherapy, and evaluation conducted through pre- and post-tests to measure changes in participants' anxiety levels. The results of this activity showed a significant decrease in participants' anxiety levels. Previously, many pregnant women were in the severe and moderate anxiety categories, but after participating in the activity, they shifted to mild anxiety and even no anxiety. Lemon aromatherapy has been proven effective in providing relaxation and reducing emotional tension experienced by pregnant women. Therefore, this activity is expected to become a promotional educational model in maternal health services. Through this approach, it is hoped that pregnant women will better understand and utilize aromatherapy as a way to maintain their mental health during pregnancy. Furthermore, this activity can also provide health workers with insight into the importance of non-pharmacological approaches in supporting the mental health of pregnant women.

Teachers face complex emotional challenges in the workplace, particularly when dealing with the dynamic nature of Generation Z students. Without adequate emotional regulation skills, teachers are at risk of prolonged stress and burnout. This community service activity aims to improve teachers' emotional regulation skills through training based on Gross's (2003) theory, which includes techniques for recognizing, managing, and responding to emotions adaptively. The activity was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang and attended by 30 teachers. The training method included delivering material and practicing emotional regulation in six structured sessions. Results showed that participants were enthusiastic, actively engaged in the practice, and acknowledged their increased understanding and skills in managing negative emotions. Participant reflections indicated that the training helped maintain mental health and increased readiness to face work pressure. In addition, the sessions fostered a supportive environment where teachers could share their emotional experiences and develop mutual empathy. Feedback from participants emphasized the relevance of emotional regulation in daily teaching tasks, including classroom management, dealing with students’ behavior, and interacting with colleagues and parents. However, challenges remain in implementing emotional regulation due to minimal institutional support and limited follow-up programs. Therefore, it is important for this type of training to be integrated into teacher professional development programs and supported by school policies. This activity demonstrates that strengthening teachers' emotional aspects is a strategic step in improving the overall quality of education. Future efforts should involve collaboration with school leadership to institutionalize emotional support mechanisms and conduct longitudinal evaluations to measure sustained impact. Overall, the training offers a promising model for enhancing teacher well-being and professional resilience in demanding educational environments.

Low back pain, also known as low back pain, is a common condition characterized by pain or discomfort in the lower back area, which is between the lower ribs and the buttock folds. This condition can be mild to severe, and can be temporary or chronic. One of the nonpharmacological methods that is often used to reduce the intensity of pain is ice packs. Ice packs are able to provide an analgesic effect by lowering local blood flow and reducing inflammation in the area experiencing pain. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ice packs in reducing low back pain in office administration employees. The research design uses an experimental method with a one group pre-test–post-test design approach. The research sample consisted of 25 respondents who were administrative employees at the Helvetia Health Institute. Pain intensity measurements were taken before and after the administration of ice packs to determine the effect of this therapy on low back pain. The results showed a decrease in the intensity of low back pain with an average value before treatment of 51.63 and after treatment decreasing to 38.8. Statistical analysis yielded a significance value (p) of 0.004 < 0.05, which showed that ice packs had a significant effect on reducing low back pain in administrative employees. Regular application of ice packs can be a simple, safe, and effective intervention that can be done independently at home by employees to reduce pain. This study provides recommendations for health workers to promote ice pack therapy as a non-pharmacological pain relief method, especially for office workers who often experience low back pain due to static work positions.

Toxic professional relationships—characterized by subtle exclusion, politicized decision-making, and emotional suppression—are a prevalent yet underexamined concern in academic institutions. This research emphasizes the psychological, pedagogical, and emotional repercussions for educators in situations characterized by workplace conflict, in contrast to prior studies that primarily examine structural factors. The study seeks to examine how educators perceive, interpret, and react to toxic dynamics, especially via reflective processes. We gathered data from three years of anonymized reflective journaling employing a qualitative, narrative-reflective methodology and conducted a theme analysis. Research highlights three main themes: the emotional effort needed to maintain professionalism despite feeling excluded, changes in teaching methods as a way to resist and find meaning, and how reflective practice helps teachers stay true to their teaching values. The analysis further demonstrates how gender and early-career status exacerbate susceptibility to toxic dynamics. The study prioritizes ethical contemplation as a transforming practice and a means of action instead of providing prescriptive solutions. Institutions should implement emotional intelligence training, equitable task allocation, and peer support mechanisms to cultivate more equal academic settings. This research advocates for a work culture founded on explicit performance expectations, mutual respect, compassion, and integrity in education, facilitating a deeper comprehension of teachers' authentic experiences in challenging school environments.

Employee turnover intention remains one of the pressing challenges for organizations striving to maintain workforce stability. This study investigates how emotional intelligence influences employees’ intention to leave, with job satisfaction positioned as a mediating factor. Grounded in the Traditional Turnover Theory, the research was conducted at PT. Mabhakti, located at Jl. Nangka No. 29, Dangin Puri Kaja, North Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. The study involved a total of 40 employees, all of whom were included as respondents using a census or saturated sampling approach. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews and questionnaires, and the analysis was performed using path analysis via SPSS. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence negatively and significantly affects turnover intention, while it positively and significantly influences job satisfaction. Additionally, job satisfaction itself negatively affects turnover intention and plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between emotional intelligence and turnover intention. These outcomes reinforce the Traditional Turnover Theory, highlighting that emotionally intelligent employees are more likely to experience internal positive drivers—such as self-motivation and emotional resilience—that contribute to job satisfaction and, consequently, a reduced desire to leave. The study underscores the importance of fostering emotional intelligence and enhancing job satisfaction as strategic approaches to curbing turnover intention and promoting organizational stability and productivity.

Critical thinking skills are a fundamental aspect that needs to be instilled early in the educational process in elementary schools. However, the application of conventional learning media such as textbooks and worksheets tends to be less supportive of the development of these skills, especially in complex materials such as the solar system. To overcome this, the use of solar system diorama media is considered capable of bridging students' conceptual understanding with more contextual visual and exploratory experiences. Through a constructivist approach, students are given space to be actively involved in observing, discussing, and linking materials to real phenomena, so that their critical thinking skills can be honed more optimally. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of diorama media in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students and examine students' responses to this learning method. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of innovative learning strategies that can support the quality of elementary education.

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced by novice teachers in implementing a dual curriculum—which includes the national curriculum and Islamic curriculum—in Islamic Elementary Schools (SDI). The dual curriculum in SDI requires integration between mastery of general knowledge and instilling strong Islamic values. However, in practice, novice teachers experience various difficulties, ranging from limited understanding of the two types of curriculum, heavy administrative burdens, to social and cultural pressures of religious schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature studies, by analyzing relevant academic literature from journals, proceedings, and scientific books in the last ten years. The results of the analysis show that novice teachers experience challenges in pedagogical, structural, psychological, and cultural aspects. They often feel unprepared to develop integrative teaching materials, manage time effectively, and meet institutional and parental expectations. The lack of mentoring, training, and assistance programs also worsen the situation, causing work stress and the risk of burnout. This study concludes that the challenges faced by novice teachers in the context of the dual curriculum are systemic and require a structured and sustainable solution approach, such as strengthening integrated training, integrating curriculum management, and developing a professional development system that supports the pedagogical and spiritual development of novice teachers.
