This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of interactive learning media in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school students. The main problem in mathematics learning at the elementary school level is the low interest and understanding of students towards abstract mathematical concepts. For this reason, interactive media is expected to be an alternative that is able to present material in an interesting, concrete, and easy-to-understand way for students. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, which involves analysis of a number of reference sources such as scientific journals, books, and current research reports that discuss similar topics. The results of the study show that interactive media is able to attract students' attention through the presentation of visuals, audio, and interactive activities that are in accordance with the learning characteristics of elementary school-aged children. This media has also been shown to increase students' motivation and interest in learning, because learning becomes more enjoyable and not boring. In addition, students' understanding of mathematical concepts increases due to the presence of visual representations that help bridge abstract concepts with concrete experiences. However, the effectiveness of interactive media also depends on the readiness of the technological infrastructure in schools and the competence of teachers in managing and utilizing the media. Therefore, support in the form of training and provision of facilities and infrastructure is needed so that interactive media can be implemented optimally in the learning process.

The ability to read with comprehension is a fundamental skill that is very crucial for children in elementary school. However, many students face challenges due to lack of interest in reading and teaching methods that feel monotonous. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how effective comic media is in improving students' reading comprehension. Using a literature review approach through a qualitative descriptive method, this study explores relevant literature on comic media, educational theory, and reading ability. The findings of the study indicate that comics, which combine text elements with visuals, can attract students' attention, make it easier for them to understand reading, and create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. In addition, comics are also in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school children who tend to have visual interests and require relevant learning media. With the right usage strategy, comic media can function as an innovative alternative in teaching Indonesian to improve students' literacy skills from the start.

This study aims to examine the application of illustrated comic media in Indonesian language learning as an effort to improve the responsibility values ​​of grade 2 elementary school students. The value of responsibility is an important part of character education that needs to be instilled early on, especially through an approach that is appropriate to the child's developmental stage. The methodology used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing a number of sources such as scientific journals, reference books, and previous research reports that are relevant to the use of comic media in the context of learning and strengthening character. The results of the study indicate that illustrated comic media can be an effective means of conveying moral messages because it combines visual and narrative aspects that are interesting for early childhood students. Comics allow the presentation of responsibility values ​​through characters and storylines that are easy to understand and serve as role models for students. In the context of Indonesian language learning, comics also support reading skills and understanding the contents of the story, while facilitating discussion of the values ​​contained therein. The conclusion of this study shows that the use of illustrated comic media in a planned and systematic manner can contribute positively to improving students' understanding and application of responsibility values ​​in everyday life. This media also supports the creation of fun, meaningful, and contextual learning for elementary school students.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning media in enhancing elementary school students’ learning interest within the context of technological advancement in education. Digital media such as interactive videos, educational animations, and learning applications are increasingly integrated into teaching processes as a response to the demand for more innovative and adaptive education. This research discusses how digital learning media can stimulate students’ intrinsic motivation, strengthen engagement, and create a more enjoyable and contextual learning experience. The findings indicate that digital media holds significant potential to improve the quality of primary education by presenting content in an engaging and easily comprehensible manner. Despite technical challenges such as limited device availability and internet access, conceptually, digital learning media can serve as a strategic solution in reforming teaching methods in the digital age.

Reading literacy skills are an important foundation in the learning process of lower grade elementary school students. Unfortunately, many students have difficulty in understanding reading and have low reading interest. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of interactive children's stories in improving the reading literacy skills of lower grade elementary school students. The method used was a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of the study consisted of two classes: an experimental class that used interactive children's story media, and a control class that used conventional methods. The results showed that students who learned with interactive children's stories experienced significant improvements in three main aspects of literacy, namely word recognition, reading comprehension, and reading interest. This media provides a fun and contextual reading experience through a combination of audio, visuals, and interactivity. In addition, students are more enthusiastic and active during the learning process. Thus, interactive children's stories have proven effective as an alternative to innovative literacy learning that is in accordance with technological developments. It is recommended that teachers integrate this media into learning and schools support the development of infrastructure that supports the use of digital media in the classroom.

Indonesia, based on its geographical location, is a country that is difficult to escape from the threat of natural disasters, one of which is earthquakes. The high number of casualties from natural disasters indicates that the community's emergency response abilities are still very poor, especially among children who lack basic knowledge in disaster management. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of education and singing to  earthquake emergency response abilities among students at MI Rejoagung. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sampling technique resulted in 30 respondents. Data collection was done through interviews and observations, and data analysis used the Paired T-Test. The research findings showed that before the intervention, the majority (57%) of respondents had sufficient abilities with a mean of 10.96. After the intervention, almost all (83%) of the respondents had good abilities with a mean of 24.78. The analysis result yielded a p-value of 0.000 (≤ α 0.05), indicating that there is an influence of education and singing to  disaster earthquake response abilities. The education and singing to makes it easier to understand the material and procedures, makes learning more interesting, and is easy to remember. Respondents are advised to continue improving their knowledge and abilities in disaster preparedness through various sources of information and active participation in disaster training or education.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of evaluation sheets based on picture stories on the assessment of student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects for grade VII at SMP Hang Tuah 1 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach involving 154 students from four classes (7A–7D). The evaluation instrument in the form of a short narrative accompanied by visual illustrations and contextual questions was designed based on the basic competencies of grade VII science. The results of the analysis showed that students gave a positive response to the form of evaluation used. Statistically, the average value of student learning outcomes reached 81.52, median 81.79, mode 84, and standard deviation 5.60. A total of 132 students (85.7%) achieved learning outcomes with values ​​above or equal to the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), which is 75. This shows that the evaluation sheet based on picture stories is not only effective in measuring learning outcomes, but also helps students understand the material more contextually and enjoyably. Student reflections strengthen these findings, where most stated that evaluation in the form of illustrated stories made them more interested, less tense when working on problems, and easier to understand concepts. Therefore, this approach can be an innovative alternative assessment in science learning.

Mastery of the concept of multiplication is a fundamental ability that needs to be mastered by primary school students as a foundation for learning further mathematical material. Unfortunately, many learners have difficulty in understanding multiplication thoroughly, both due to the abstract nature of the material and the lack of varied teaching methods. One of the main challenges is the decreased motivation to learn when facing multiplication topics that are considered complicated and boring. This programme introduces the lattice method as an alternative to learning multiplication at the primary level. This visual technique breaks down the multiplication process into structured steps that are easier to understand. The activity involved grade IV students and mathematics teachers at SDN 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi Padang as an effort to innovate numeracy learning. Implementation included socialisation, training, practice, and collaborative evaluation between teachers and students. Assessment instruments included learning interest questionnaire, comprehension test, observation sheet, and group discussion. As a result, the lattice method was proven to improve not only comprehension but also students' participation, confidence, and enthusiasm. Thus, this approach can be a solution to create more interesting and effective learning.

Practical Lectures and Community Service (KPPM) is a form of student service required by IAKN Tarutung, which is carried out in semester VI and lasts for three months. This program aims to improve community welfare and make the nation's life smarter through social activities that use science and technology. In pasaribu Village, doloksanggul District, KPPM activities are carried out with the aim of increasing children's learning motivation through private tutoring programs, encouraging a spirit of mutual cooperation with the community, and holding healthy exercise with PKK mothers. The research method used involved two main stages: initial observation to identify educational problems in schools, and implementation of a free private tutoring program every Friday for 60 minutes for elementary school children. Apart from that, mutual cooperation activities and healthy exercise with PKK mothers were carried out as part of efforts to improve community welfare and health.The results of KPPM activities show that private tutoring has succeeded in increasing children's interest and motivation in learning in pasaribu Village. An interactive learning approach adapted to school subjects helps children understand the material more easily. Mutual cooperation carried out with the community shows an increase in togetherness and citizen participation in social activities. Meanwhile, regularly held healthy exercise improves the fitness and health of PKK women, as well as strengthening social relations between them. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes the important role of students in serving society through education, health and other social activities. The KPPM program in pasaribu Village has succeeded in creating positive change by involving all levels of society in a joint effort to improve welfare and education.

This study aims to analyze the mathematical disposition of 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Tambun Selatan in learning mathematics. Mathematical disposition refers to the tendency to think and behave positively towards mathematics, encompassing seven main indicators as defined by the NCTM: self-confidence, perseverance, persistence, interest, reflection, tolerance, and appreciation of the role of mathematics. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using an open-ended questionnaire consisting of 42 statements based on the seven indicators of mathematical disposition. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicated that appreciation of the role of mathematics in culture and values was the most dominant indicator among students, whereas persistence and perseverance in solving mathematical tasks scored the lowest. Overall, the mathematical disposition of students in the 11th grade at SMA Negeri 3 Tambun Selatan was found to be relatively low. These findings highlight the need for efforts to improve students' mathematical disposition, particularly in the areas of perseverance and persistence in completing mathematical tasks.

Mathematics is often perceived as a subject that is difficult for students to master, a notion that has been confirmed by numerous previous studies. One of the contributing factors is the limited variety of instructional media used in classrooms, which affects students' interest and comprehension. Many teachers still lack appropriate learning media to support blended learning approaches. This study aims to develop and implement multimedia-based Educational Instructional Media (EIM) that are valid, practical, and effective. The project utilizes video-based learning to deliver algebra concepts material for Grade VII students at SMPN 252 Jakarta and SMPIT Al-Qudwah. The development process follows the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. During the analysis phase, both learning needs and content requirements were mapped according to SAP (System Analysis and Product). The material was then divided into seven core sections. In the design stage, the curriculum structure, system flow, and user interface were developed. The development stage involved creating instructional content based on the analysis results. The content was then uploaded to the Moodle platform and presented using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model.

This study aims to improve the ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sogaeadu in identifying short story elements through the application of the SQ4R method. The background of this study is the low interest of students in reading literary works and their lack of understanding of effective reading strategies. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design which was carried out in two cycles, each including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, from an average of 59.2% in cycle I to 82.4% in cycle II. The percentage of student involvement also increased from 42%-52% (cycle I) to 71%-90% (cycle II), while observations of researcher performance increased from 56%-75% (cycle I) to 87.5%-100% (cycle II). These findings prove that the SQ4R reading method is effective in improving students' ability to identify short story elements through systematic and easy-to-apply steps.

Reading ability is the main foundation in basic education, especially for grade 1 elementary school students who are in the early stages of literacy development. However, many students at this level still have difficulty reading due to learning approaches that are not in accordance with the characteristics of child development. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the syllable method in improving the reading ability of grade 1 elementary school students in the Indonesian language subject. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzed various scientific sources related to early reading teaching strategies. The results of the study show that the syllable method is able to facilitate reading learning in a gradual and systematic manner, starting from letter recognition, syllable combination, word formation, to reading simple sentences. This method not only improves students' phonetic and phonological abilities, but also fosters self-confidence and interest in reading. Obstacles in implementation such as lack of teacher understanding, limited learning media, and differences in student backgrounds are challenges that need to be overcome through teacher training and the provision of adequate media. These findings provide important implications for basic education practices, especially in supporting the national literacy program through the implementation of appropriate and student-based teaching strategies.

This research is based on the condition of students who are less enthusiastic and tend to be passive during learning. Students consider social studies  to be boring and difficult, resulting in low student activeness. This low activeness affects students’ cognitive abilities. An effort that can be made is to create a fun learning atmosphere by using appropriate and interesting learning strategies, one of which is the Think Talk Write learning strategy. This strategy makes students active and more enthusiastic, so they achieve satisfying cognitive ability scores. The problem formulation in this research is how much influence the Think Talk Write strategy has on cognitive abilities, student activeness, and both in social studies subjects. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasy Experimental Design and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consists of 29 students in the control class and 26 students in the experimental class. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with data collected through cognitive ability tests and student activeness sheets. Data analysis was performed using the Independent Sample T-Test and MANOVA. The results show that the Think Talk Write strategy influences students’ cognitive abilities and activeness, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Beginning reading skills are a foundational aspect of literacy development in elementary school students, particularly in the lower grades. However, field observations reveal that many second-grade students still struggle with understanding reading materials, recognizing syllables, and associating words with meaning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture learning model in improving reading comprehension skills through a literature review approach. Data were collected from various sources, including literature, journals, and previous research that discussed beginning reading skills and the implementation of image-based learning models. The results indicate that the Picture and Picture model can enhance students’ interest, active participation, and comprehension of texts through engaging and contextual visual support. Images serve as a bridge between text and meaning, helping students to understand story sequences, identify characters, and develop vocabulary and logical thinking skills. Several previous studies analyzed in this research also demonstrated significant improvement in students’ reading abilities following the implementation of this model. Moreover, the model supports an enjoyable learning process, facilitates group collaboration, and builds students’ confidence in expressing ideas. Therefore, the Picture and Picture model is considered effective for use in early reading instruction in elementary schools, especially in creating an active, creative, and meaningful learning environment. This study is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in selecting appropriate teaching strategies to improve students' basic literacy

Solo Putri bridal makeup is a type of traditional makeup that requires precision, patience, and high technical skills. The level of student interest in learning reflects the extent of their interest and seriousness in understanding a learning material. This study aims to examine the influence of learning interest on the results of Solo Putri bridal makeup practice among students in the AKS Ibu Kartini Semarang Makeup Design Program, using a quantitative approach through simple linear regression. The research subjects consisted of 30 students, and the instruments used included a learning interest questionnaire and a practice results assessment sheet. Data were analyzed using normality, linearity, and simple linear regression tests. The analysis results showed a positive and significant correlation between learning interest and students' practical results. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.794 and the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.630 indicate that learning interest has a significant contribution to the success of bridal makeup practice. The higher the learning interest of students, the higher the quality of practice results achieved. Therefore, learning interest is an important aspect that requires attention in practical learning. Effective learning strategies such as contextual approaches, project-based learning, and the provision of adequate practical facilities need to be implemented.

The need for adaptive and personalized learning systems is increasing along with the advancement of information technology. Informatics students face challenges in choosing materials that suit their abilities and interests. This research aims to design and evaluate an Generative AI-based independent learning recommendation system in Indonesian that can help students navigate the learning process more efficiently. The system utilizes a generative language model to provide relevant learning material suggestions based on students' individual learning history and preferences. This study uses a software engineering approach and experimental evaluation. The dataset is collected from various reference sources of learning and user interaction with the system. The Generative AI model is trained to generate contextual and Indonesian-language content recommendations. The results of the evaluation show that this system is able to increase the effectiveness and satisfaction of students' independent learning. These findings confirm the great potential of generative AI technology in supporting higher education, particularly in supporting personalized learning in local languages.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using map media in the discovery learning method to improve the understanding of fifth grade elementary school students on the material of natural features of Indonesia. This study is a qualitative study with a library research approach that relies on data sources from scientific and credible literature, such as accredited journals, academic books, and relevant previous research reports. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the application of discovery learning assisted by map media can increase student activity, interest, and involvement in learning. Students become more active in exploring information, discussing, and expressing opinions. In addition, the use of maps as a visual medium encourages an increase in students' cognitive understanding, as indicated by a significant increase in test scores after learning. Interaction between students through group discussions has also proven effective in forming shared understanding and improving social skills, such as cooperation, communication, and tolerance. The discovery learning method encourages meaningful learning because students are directly involved in the process of discovering concepts through learning experiences, not just receiving information from teachers. Changes in student behavior from passive to active show that this approach is in line with the principles of constructivism and supports character development and learning independence in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. Thus, discovery learning assisted by map media is an effective, participatory, and contextual learning strategy in improving the quality of social studies learning in elementary schools.

The implementation of learning at Ma Ma'arif Ambulu experienced problems in the form of low student interest in learning. This incident was shown from the results of student learning in the previous semester with only 50% of students getting a KKM score of 70. The cause of the lack of delivery of learning in class was due to the lack of learning media, when delivering learning in class. This resulted in students being less interested and less active in seeking more information related to the material being studied. The study was conducted using classroom action research with a data analysis method in the form of a questionnaire to measure student interest in learning. Based on the analysis of data from cycle I, it was found that student interest in learning was in the low category of 56.75% and cycle II, it was found that student interest in learning was 83.71% which was included in the high ability category. The conclusion obtained is that learning using the Paludarium learning media can increase the interest in learning of class X IPA I MA Ma'arif Ambulu students in the 2022/2023 academic year totaling 28 students in the Ecosystem material.

Mastery of pronunciation skills is a crucial aspect in English oral communication. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of film and song-based audio-visual media in improving the pronunciation skills of English study program students. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of pronunciation tests. The results showed that the integration of film and song media was able to significantly improve students' intelligibility, accuracy, and fluency. Films provide exposure to native speaker pronunciation in real contexts, while songs play a role in reducing anxiety and increasing self-confidence through sound repetition in a relaxed learning atmosphere. These findings are in line with recent studies that emphasize the importance of contextual and authentic media in teaching pronunciation. It is recommended that teachers utilize audio-visual media optimally in learning to create a more interesting and meaningful learning experience.
