The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the way society constructs identity and interprets culture. This study aims to examine how cultural literacy and social media use influence each other in the process of cultural transformation in Indonesia. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through a review of various relevant literature sources. The results indicate that the flood of unfiltered digital information often leads to misunderstandings, shifts in cultural values, and the weakening of local identity. On the other hand, social media continues to provide significant opportunities to preserve traditions and promote local culture through various forms of digital content. This study also found that digital literacy including the ability to think critically, understand visual context, and assess the credibility of information is key to society's wise use of social media. The younger generation plays a crucial role in this process as they are the largest users of social media and the primary producers of cultural content. The synergy between cultural literacy, digital literacy, and responsible use of social media plays a role in guiding the nation's cultural transformation in a more positive direction.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economic development, particularly in developing products based on local wisdom. Toko Jayabaru is an MSME that markets Maumere's signature souvenirs made from traditional ikat woven fabric, facing various challenges and opportunities amid business and tourism dynamics. This study aims to identify internal and external factors affecting Toko Jayabaru's performance and formulate appropriate business development strategies through SWOT analysis. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through in-depth interviews with the owner and management of Toko Jayabaru. Data analysis uses the SWOT framework (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify the business's strategic position and formulate alternative development strategies. Toko Jayabaru's main strengths lie in strong local cultural identity, authentic product quality, and adequate business experience. Weaknesses include limited digital marketing, restricted production capacity, and lack of derivative product variations. Opportunities encompass Flores tourism sector growth, increasing interest in local products, and potential strategic collaborations. Main threats are competition from similar products, influx of imitation products, and dependence on tourism sector fluctuations. Recommended development strategies include strengthening branding through storytelling, diversifying woven derivative products, optimizing digital marketing, strategic collaboration with tourism stakeholders, enhancing human resource capacity, and implementing customer loyalty programs. Implementation of these strategies is expected to increase MSME competitiveness while preserving Maumere's local culture.

This study examines how integrating local ecological wisdom and eco-literacy education fosters environmental awareness, behavioral transformation, and health outcomes among Indonesian primary school students. The research responds to the ecological paradox of rapid technological growth amid worsening environmental degradation, where youth eco-literacy remains below 45%, indicating a gap between environmental knowledge and sustainable action. The study aims to develop a culturally responsive model of sustainability education that connects environmental ethics, cultural identity, and public health. Using a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted at SD Islam Kreatif Mutiara Anak Sholeh, Sidoarjo, East Java, from July to August 2025, involving 60 students and six teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Four major themes emerged: (1) cultural narratives as catalysts for environmental awareness, (2) eco-literacy as experiential and behavioral transformation, (3) collaborative learning as collective environmental agency, and (4) eco-health as psychosocial and physical well-being. Findings show that integrating Majapahit-era ecological values and local storytelling into eco-brick and composting projects enhanced students’ responsibility, cooperation, and emotional balance. The study synthesizes Eco-pedagogy, Constructivism, and Eco-health frameworks into a Culturally Responsive Eco-Health Pedagogy, demonstrating that sustainability learning rooted in culture and participation promotes both environmental and health outcomes. This model contributes to the global Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) 2030 agenda by linking culture, ecology, and well-being in primary education.

Business legality is a very important component in the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Business legality provides MSME players with legal protection, easier access to financing, and greater opportunities for growth. The Business Identification Number (NIB) is the official identity of business actors used to obtain business licenses and commercial or operational permits through an integrated electronic licensing system, namely Online Single Submission (OSS). The objective of this community service program is to increase the understanding and awareness of MSME actors in Kelayu Selatan Village, Selong District, East Lombok Regency, regarding business legality, particularly the creation of an NIB. To support more efficient assistance tailored to the needs of each business operator, this activity was conducted door-to-door and included several stages, such as observation and data collection on MSMEs, dissemination of information on the importance of business legality, assistance in creating OSS accounts, and assistance in the application process until the issuance of the NIB. The results of the activity showed an increase in awareness and knowledge about the importance of business legality. It is hoped that this program will encourage MSMEs to transform into formal businesses that are competitive and sustainable.

In the context of modernity, characterized by secularization and existential anxiety, traditional models of Christian faith formation often appear disconnected from the lived reality of believers, particularly regarding the doctrines of salvation and eschatology. This study investigates the crucial role of the church in bridging this gap by developing a pedagogical approach that integrally links ecclesial education with eschatological hope. Employing a qualitative descriptive analysis method, this research examines theological literature, contemporary church documents, and case studies of Christian formation programs. The analysis reveals that a robust eschatological perspective oriented towards the hope of salvation, resurrection, and the renewal of all things is not merely a final chapter of doctrine but an essential, transformative framework for all faith education. It shapes Christian identity, ethics, and mission in the present. The study concludes that for faith formation to be salvific and relevant today, the church must intentionally reconfigure its educational praxis. This reconfiguration involves moving from a compartmentalized teaching of "last things" to fostering an eschatological imagination that informs discipleship, worship, and social engagement, thereby presenting salvation as a comprehensive hope actively shaping Christian life in the modern world.

This study explores the persuasive linguistic techniques used in 50 Instagram advertisements by Anomali Coffee, a prominent Indonesian specialty coffee brand. The research aims to identify and analyze the linguistic strategies embedded in captions, hashtags, slogans, and textual elements in promotional visuals using Lamb’s (2011) 21 category persuasive language framework. A descriptive qualitative approach was adopted for this purpose. The analysis reveals 46 instances of persuasive techniques, with the most common being inclusive language, imagery, hyperbole, connotation, and colloquial expressions. These findings suggest that Anomali Coffee strategically employs emotional engagement, community oriented language, and sensory appeals to strengthen brand identity and resonance. Additionally, credibility enhancing strategies such as expert opinion and evidence are also evident. The study contributes to the application of Lamb’s taxonomy in Indonesian digital marketing, particularly in the specialty coffee industry, showing how linguistic persuasion can amplify consumer interaction on social media platforms. However, the study’s focus on a single brand and textual features limits its generalizability. Future research should consider cross brand comparisons, multimodal analyses, and consumer response studies to further explore the effectiveness of persuasive techniques. Overall, the findings offer valuable insights into the role of persuasive language in shaping digital marketing strategies for local coffee brands in Indonesia.

This papper reviews a range of studies that examine the influence of cultural and religious differences on the effectiveness of the counselor–client relationship. The main focus is on how cultural identity and religious beliefs shape the way individuals understand problems, interpret personal experiences, and respond to the counseling process. The literature shows that differences in values, communication styles, and spiritual orientations can affect the quality of the relationship, especially during the stages of building trust and setting counseling goals. At the same time, counselors who possess multicultural competence and sensitivity toward religious diversity are better able to adapt their approaches so clients feel respected and emotionally secure. This review also highlights the importance of counselor self-reflection to avoid personal bias in sessions, particularly when working with clients from backgrounds that differ greatly from their own. By examining various academic sources, this article argues that an effective counseling relationship depends not only on technique but also on the counselor’s ability to understand the client’s life context. The findings of this literature review contribute to the development of more inclusive and culturally responsive counseling practices.

This study explores the Village Cross as a symbol of inculturation, integrating Catholic faith with the Nosu Minu Podi ritual in Dusun Perintis, Balai Sebut Village, Sanggau Regency. Nosu Minu Podi, a post-harvest rice ritual, originally centered on the ancestral statue (Pantak) as the main focus of worship. The introduction of Catholicism led to a symbolic transformation, replacing the Pantak with the Village Cross while maintaining ancestral values and harmonizing them with Catholic practices. This research uses a qualitative approach combining ethnography and contextual theology. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and field documentation. Findings reveal that the Village Cross serves dual functions: as a religious symbol affirming God’s presence and spiritual protection, and as a marker of social and cultural identity. This transformation strengthens community solidarity, preserves traditional practices, and provides a medium for faith formation among youth. The study highlights that inculturation enables the integration of local traditions with religious teachings, creating space for contextual, inclusive, and practical pastoral approaches. It contributes to scholarly understanding of the interplay between religion, culture, and community identity, emphasizing the enduring relevance of local wisdom in contemporary religious practice.

This study explores the implementation of sustainable accounting practices in the management of Pasir Panjang coastal tourism by examining how local cultural values and community personality influence sustainability-driven decisions. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis involving local community members, tourism actors, and village government representatives. The findings indicate that sustainable accounting is not only understood as an administrative or financial reporting system, but also as a framework shaped by cultural norms, collective identity, and local wisdom. Elements such as communal responsibility, environmental awareness, and traditional stewardship practices significantly contribute to how sustainability initiatives are planned, recorded, and evaluated. Furthermore, the personality traits of the local community—such as openness, cooperation, and strong social cohesion—play an essential role in ensuring inclusive participation and shared accountability. This study concludes that integrating cultural values and community character enhances the effectiveness of sustainable accounting practices in coastal tourism management and encourages long-term environmental and socio-economic resilience.

This community‑engagement study aimed to revitalize the Qur’anic ecosystem in Sempu Village (Ngancar District, Kediri Regency) by fostering inter‑generational synergy—among families, youth communities, and TPQ (Qur’an Study Groups)—using an asset‑based community development (ABCD) approach. The program identified and mobilised local assets such as TPQ students/alumni, active youth, community leaders, mosque/TPQ facilities, and locally established networks to strengthen Qur’an mentoring with a psycho‑spiritual dimension. The research employed a qualitative intervention method executed in three phases: asset mapping & diagnosis; design & implementation of the intervention; and program evaluation & reflection. Results indicated that youth attendance increased from 45 % to 78 %; the number of participating families rose from 18 to 32; and 90 % of TPQ administrators expressed the intention to continue the inter‑generational forum model on a regular basis. Discussion revealed that the intervention did more than improve attendance—it reinforced a sense of ownership, social connectedness, and internalization of Qur’anic values (spiritual well‑being). The psycho‑spiritual approach proved effective in strengthening youth identity and building a sustainable Qur’anic community culture. Limitations include the short duration of the intervention (12 weeks) and persistent communication barriers between generations related to time constraints and family workloads. Recommendations include conducting long‑term measurements, adapting the mentoring modules to accommodate family/youth time issues, and replicating the model in other villages with different characteristics.

This article aims to understand how cultural expressions of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) are inculturated in the liturgy of the Catholic Church as a manifestation of a dynamic encounter between Christian faith and local culture. The research method used is qualitative with a desk observation approach, which involves an in-depth study of Church documents, biblical texts, and practices of contextual liturgical analysis in various regions of NTT. The main results of the study indicate that the process of cultural inculturation in the liturgy in NTT not only enriches the forms of expression of the faith of the people, but also deepens the meaning and experience of the liturgy as a space for authentic theological dialogue between the Gospel message and local cultural heritage. Furthermore, this inculturation emphasizes the relevance of faith in the socio-cultural context, where local elements such as music, dance, clothing, and symbolism are brought to life to reveal the mystery of Christ more contextually. The theological and pastoral implications of these findings are that the Catholic Church in Indonesia, particularly in NTT, is a living, contextual, and relevant witness to the faith, demonstrating that the Gospel can be firmly embedded in the local land and culture, while strengthening the religious identity of the people amidst cultural plurality.

Misterius: Publikasi Ilmu Seni dan Desain Komunikasi Visual 2025 Asosiasi Seni Desain dan Komunikasi Visual Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the use of interior photography as a means to preserve and visually document the FMM Convent Chapel Regina Pacis in Bogor. The chapel is a historic site with significant artistic, spiritual, and architectural value, and has been officially recognized by the central government as a cultural heritage building. The importance of this research arises from the fact that the chapel is not included in the official publication of cultural heritage buildings in Bogor City that has been identified. Its absence from this publication indicates a lack of visual documentation and historical information necessary to support conservation efforts. Insufficient documentation increases the likelihood of losing architectural value should changes or damage occur in the future. To address this issue, the study seeks to produce interior photographic documentation that accurately and clearly represents the architectural identity of the chapel. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, consisting of interviews with the chapel’s management, direct on-site observations, and the development of an interior photography concept that considers spatial structure, perspective, and lighting. In this context, interior photography functions not only as an aesthetic medium but also as a preservation tool capable of storing long-term information. The resulting visual documentation is expected to serve as a valuable reference for managers, researchers, and local government authorities, while also encouraging the inclusion of the Regina Pacis Chapel in the official publication of cultural heritage buildings in Bogor City. In this way, the study contributes to strengthening cultural archives and supporting the preservation of historical architecture.
