The increasing use of web applications in various sectors has made security a major concern due to the high risk of attacks targeting the application layer. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the F5 Web Application Firewall (F5 WAF) in mitigating vulnerabilities in the OWASP Juice Shop application. Testing was conducted using 10 attack scenarios including SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR), and Information Disclosure before and after F5 WAF implementation. The test results showed that all tested attack scenarios were successfully mitigated after F5 WAF implementation. These findings indicate that the F5 WAF is able to provide effective protection against various vulnerabilities at the application layer and improve the security of web applications in the test environment used.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of information technology in improving the quality of public services. The research method used is library research by collecting and analyzing various scientific sources, such as journals, books, research articles, and government documents related to information technology and public services. The results show that the implementation of information technology through online service systems, official websites, and administrative information systems is able to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of public services. Information technology also helps accelerate administrative processes, reduce data management errors, increase employee productivity, and strengthen communication between the government and the community. In addition, the implementation of information technology supports the realization of e-government and good governance through increased accountability and information transparency. However, the implementation of information technology still faces several challenges, such as limited human resources, inadequate technological infrastructure, unstable internet connections, and the low ability of some communities to use digital services. Therefore, it is necessary to improve employee competencies, develop technological infrastructure, and conduct public socialization to optimize the implementation of information technology in public services. Overall, information technology has proven to be a strategic solution in creating modern, effective, efficient, transparent, and community-oriented public services.

Penerapan sistem manajemen kinerja karyawan di PT Pos Indonesia, khususnya pada Divisi Human Capital Development, sebelumnya masih mengandalkan sistem manual berbasis spreadsheet. Proses manual ini rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia (human error), ketidakkonsistenan data, serta ketidakefisienan dalam pemantauan metrik kinerja individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendigitalisasi proses manajemen kinerja dengan mengembangkan sistem berbasis web bernama IHSAN POS (Performance Management System) guna memfasilitasi pengelolaan data yang terintegrasi dan real-time. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang berfokus pada pengembangan frontend menggunakan React JS, dengan perancangan sistem dimodelkan melalui Data Flow Diagram (DFD) dan Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) untuk memastikan alur data yang terstruktur. Pengembangan sistem ini secara spesifik ditujukan bagi segmen Tenaga Kerja Profesional Perusahaan (TKPP) dengan mengintegrasikan Nilai Kinerja Individu (NKI) dan Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antarmuka frontend yang dikembangkan mampu memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengelola profil pribadi, kontrak kerja, serta memantau nilai kinerja secara transparan, sementara integrasi sistem dengan backend melalui Application Programming Interface (API) memastikan pengolahan data berjalan secara otomatis. Implementasi IHSAN POS secara signifikan mentransformasi alur kerja evaluasi kinerja manual menjadi alur kerja digital yang efisien, mengurangi kesalahan administratif, serta memberikan dasar bagi pemberian insentif perusahaan yang objektif berbasis kinerja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengembangkan sistem input nilai kinerja karyawan agar lebih akurat dan efisien; (2) merancang Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan struktur basis data untuk mendukung pengolahan data karyawan; serta (3) membangun backend sistem dengan autentikasi dan otorisasi berbasis peran. Ruang lingkup mencakup pengelolaan data kinerja individu yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual menggunakan spreadsheet dan rentan terhadap kesalahan input. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data kinerja kuartal kedua, perancangan ERD, serta pengembangan backend web application IHSAN POS menggunakan JavaScript dan framework Express yang terintegrasi dengan PostgreSQL, DBeaver, dan Prisma ORM. Implementasi keamanan dilakukan melalui middleware validasi input, sanitasi data, perlindungan dari serangan SQL injection dan XSS, serta pengelolaan sesi menggunakan enkripsi JWT (JSON Web Token). Sistem yang dikembangkan mencakup enam fitur terintegrasi: Halaman Login, Halaman Profil, Formulir Edit Profil, Halaman Nilai Kinerja Individu dan Kontrak Kerja, Formulir Kontrak Kerja, serta Pratinjau Surat Kontrak Kerja. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem backend yang dibangun mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses evaluasi kinerja, memperbaiki integrasi data, serta mempermudah validasi dan pelaporan secara digital dan terstruktur. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan sistem ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi evaluasi kinerja karyawan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis terkait insentif dan pengembangan karier pegawai.

National milkfish aquaculture production in 2024 reached 792,864 tons, highlighting the strategic role of this commodity in supporting the economy of coastal communities. central java,as one of the main contributors, has significant potential for pond development, including in Ujungwatu Village, Jepara Regency. However, pond management still faces challenges regarding human resource (HR) quality and the optimal utilization of technology. This community service program aims to enhance students’ capacity through outreach and training on Internet of Things (IoT)-based milkfish pond development as an effort to strengthen HR at the Sidomaju 2 SME. Implementation methods include the stages of observation and problem identification, work program planning, WebGIS design, IoT outreach and implementation, and evaluation. The materials covered included an introduction to IoT concepts based on ESP8266, pond monitoring, milkfish feed management, and the implementation of WebGIS as a digital mapping system for the Kalingga milkfish ponds.The activity was attended by 20 students from MA NU Ujungwatu and was conducted in a participatory manner through experiential learning. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in students’ understanding of the application of technology in milkfish farming, as well as heightened awareness of the importance of efficient and sustainable pond management. The main output of the program is the Kalingga Milkfish Pond WebGIS, which can be utilized as a digital medium for education and monitoring of pond areas. This program contributes to improving students’ technological literacy while supporting the strengthening of pond operational systems based on digital innovation.

The development of information technology encourages public service agencies to improve the quality of service through the use of integrated information systems. PERUM DAMRI Ende as a provider of passenger transportation services, still faces problems in delivering information on schedules, routes, fares, and vehicle data management that has not been optimally integrated, thus causing uncertainty for service users. This study aims to design and build a Passenger Transport Vehicle Information System at PERUM DAMRI Ende to improve fleet data management efficiency, route scheduling, and customer information access. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. System development is carried out using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built as a web-based application using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database, and tested using the Black-Box Testing method. The results of the study are expected to help PERUM DAMRI Ende manage vehicle and schedule data more effectively, improve service quality, and provide the public with greater convenience in obtaining passenger transportation information.

Absensi karyawan merupakan aspek penting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia yang memengaruhi disiplin kerja serta akurasi administrasi dalam suatu organisasi. PT. Bahtera Komunikasi Kreatif saat ini masih menggunakan sistem absensi berbasis sidik jari yang belum terintegrasi dengan pengelolaan cuti seperti izin, cuti sakit, dan work from home (WFH), sehingga proses pencatatan dan pelaporan masih dilakukan secara manual dan berpotensi menimbulkan keterlambatan serta kesalahan administrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem manajemen absensi dan cuti karyawan berbasis web yang lebih fleksibel, terintegrasi, dan mudah diakses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, tinjauan pustaka, dan kuesioner, dengan pendekatan pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) metode Waterfall. Sistem diimplementasikan menggunakan PHP Native, MySQL, serta teknologi web seperti HTML, CSS, JavaScript, dan Bootstrap, dengan dukungan HTML5 Geolocation API dan fitur kamera untuk validasi kehadiran. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) untuk memastikan fungsi sistem berjalan dengan baik serta dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi data, serta mempermudah monitoring dan pelaporan secara real-time dengan nilai UAT sebesar 4,45 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, sistem yang dikembangkan juga mampu mengurangi ketergantungan pada proses manual serta meningkatkan transparansi dalam pengelolaan data kehadiran karyawan, sehingga dapat mendukung peningkatan kinerja operasional perusahaan secara keseluruhan.

Pengolahan nilai akademik di sekolah dasar masih banyak dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku nilai atau aplikasi sederhana seperti spreadsheet, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakefisienan, duplikasi data, dan tingginya risiko kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pengolahan nilai akademik berbasis web dengan mengimplementasikan framework Laravel dan metode Agile. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method, yaitu pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara, serta evaluasi kuantitatif melalui pengujian sistem. Proses pengembangan sistem mengikuti tahapan Agile yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian secara iteratif. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel serta basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan kecepatan dalam pengolahan data akademik, khususnya pada proses input nilai, pengelolaan data, dan pembuatan laporan otomatis. Pengujian menggunakan black box testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur sistem berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa solusi yang terstruktur dan fleksibel dalam pengelolaan data akademik serta mendukung transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan.

This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system for a goat farming business at Herman Farm using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The identified problems include manual transaction recording, stock management, and sales reporting processes, which are inefficient, prone to errors, and unable to provide real-time data access. The RAD method is selected due to its ability to accelerate system development through an iterative approach and active user involvement in each stage, including requirements planning, system design, construction, and implementation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and literature studies. The developed system provides features for managing goat data, sales transactions, customer management, and integrated sales reporting within a web-based platform. The results show that the system improves efficiency in data management and transaction processes, while producing more accurate, structured, and accessible reports. Therefore, this system can assist Herman Farm in optimizing its sales operations and expanding its online marketing reach.

This study aims to design and develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based application for real-time data monitoring of an automatic weather station at PT. XYZ. The system was developed using a prototyping method, involving five key stages: sensor data acquisition via CBOX devices and the Modbus RTU protocol, data transmission through a Flask-based Web API, storage in a MySQL database, QR code-based target image creation using the Vuforia Engine, and a 3D visualization interface developed with Unity integrated with the Vuforia SDK on Android devices. The system successfully received and stored weather data—such as temperature, humidity, and wind speed—into the MySQL database. The AR application also displayed a stable 3D interface panel over QR code markers, providing real-time data updates through an HTTP-based mechanism. This research demonstrates the successful integration of SCADA, Flask, MySQL, and Unity, enhancing both the functionality and commercial appeal of PT. XYZ’s weather station products. Future research should focus on field testing, cloud network integration, and device compatibility.

The distribution of social assistance in Indonesia faces challenges such as inaccurate recipient data, overlapping programs, and limitations of traditional data management systems that lead to inaccurate targeting of aid. This study proposes a social assistance distribution optimization system using the Greedy algorithm that assesses recipient priorities based on economic conditions, number of family members, location, and urgency of needs with certain weights to produce objective rankings. This system is implemented in a JavaScript-based web application without external frameworks, making it lightweight and easily accessible. Simulations with 20 prospective recipients and a quota of 10 slots and validation with a dataset of 10,000 entries show that the Greedy algorithm produces identical results to Dynamic Programming but is much faster (669 times faster). In terms of complexity, this algorithm has O(n log n) time and O(n) space, and meets the requirements of the Greedy Choice Property and Optimal Substructure, making it a practical and efficient solution for managing large-scale social assistance distribution in Indonesia.

Communication is an essential human right, yet a significant communication gap persists between individuals with sensory disabilities, specifically the deaf and speech-impaired, and the general public. While many technological solutions have been proposed to translate sign language, existing models primarily rely on heavy deep learning architectures such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) or Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN/LSTM). These models often demand high computational power, leading to latency and limiting real-time application on standard devices. This study proposes a lightweight, fast, and highly responsive sign language translation system specifically designed to recognize static alphabets (A-Z) and single-character air writing. The system utilizes MediaPipe for hand tracking, where feature extraction is intelligently processed by calculating the relative spatial coordinates of fingertips to the wrist, reducing dependency on raw camera coordinates. Classification is performed using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel, prioritizing computational efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. To enhance user experience, the system introduces three key novelties: smart relative feature extraction, an anti-duplication hold system with a 1-second timer to prevent input spamming, and a non-blocking multithreaded audio execution (Daemon Thread) utilizing Google Text-to-Speech (gTTS), ensuring the webcam feed remains fluid during audio playback. Additionally, an alternative air-writing mode is integrated, utilizing geometric heuristics and PyTesseract OCR to read single drawn letters in the air. The results indicate that the proposed system operates swiftly and efficiently, bridging the communication barrier with a hardware-friendly approach.

Inventory management is a crucial aspect of business sustainability, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that often face limitations in data management and technological adoption. Selaras Muba Lestari is Incubation Center, which supports MSMEs in Musi Banyuasin Regency, encounters challenges in managing product inventory due to reliance on manual recording systems. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory application using the Laravel framework to improve the efficiency and accuracy of stock management. The research adopts the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of improving data accuracy, accelerating the recording process, and providing real-time inventory reports. Furthermore, this study reinforces previous findings that digitalizing inventory systems serves as a strategic solution to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs.

This study was motivated by students’ low conceptual understanding of temperature, heat, and thermal expansion at SMP Negeri 28 Batanghari, where learning achievement remained below 50%. Instruction predominantly used PowerPoint-based media, resulting in passive learning and limited contextual engagement. This study aimed to develop web-based interactive multimedia (GlidesApps) integrated with Cepak Kapung ethnoscience that is valid, practical, and effective in improving seventh-grade students’ conceptual understanding. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a development model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The resulting product, named LokaSains, is a web-based learning application accessible via smartphone, laptop, or computer without installation. It presents learning content on temperature, heat, and thermal expansion integrated with the ethnoscience of Cepak Kapung, a traditional cake from Batanghari Regency. Content expert validation obtained a score of 91.07% (very valid), while media expert validation reached 87.50% (very feasible) after two revisions. Teacher practicality assessment produced 98.33% (very practical), and student responses in small-group and large-group trials reached 94% and 90.35%, respectively (very good). During implementation with 28 seventh-grade students, the mean pretest score increased from 46.07 to 76.79 in the posttest. A paired samples t-test produced t = −13.053 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in conceptual understanding before and after using the multimedia. The N-Gain score of 0.57 indicated moderate effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. Accordingly, the LokaSains interactive multimedia is considered valid, highly practical, and effective for teaching temperature, heat, and thermal expansion at junior high school level.

This research focuses on the creation and implementation of a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the position of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The rationale behind this research is rooted in the rapid economic and demographic development in the area, which requires easy access to financial services. However, the distribution of existing ATM points is still uneven, where people in rural areas often have to travel long distances to reach the nearest ATM. The method of creating this system involves the use of the PHP programming language along with a MySQL database. This system aims to present spatial information about the current ATM location accurately, thereby helping the public in finding banking services with high accuracy through an interactive map interface. In addition, this system offers optimal paths to ATM locations to improve user time efficiency. System evaluation was conducted using black box techniques to verify that the menu operations and application procedures function as intended. The findings indicate that the implementation of GIS improves public access while offering data assistance for financial institutions and local governments in developing a more equitable and systematic public facility allocation strategy in the future.

The development of information technology encourages government agencies to switch from manual systems to digital systems that are more efficient and accurate. One important aspect of office administration is recording the absence of village officials, which is often done conventionally so it is prone to errors, data manipulation, and takes longer in the recapitulation process. Based on these problems, this research designs and implements a Qr-Code based attendance system at the Palatta Village Government Office. The design of this system is to provide a faster, more accurate and transparent attendance solution by utilizing Qr-Code technology which is integrated into a web-based application. The system is built with main features such as user login, Qr-Code scanning, attendance history, as well as an admin dashboard to manage data and generate reports. The results of implementation and testing using the Black Box method show that all functions run as required. Testing on users also shows that the system is easy to use, speeds up the attendance process, and helps admins in monitoring and recapitulating data. Thus, this Qr-Code attendance system is suitable to be implemented as a substitute for manual methods to increase work efficiency and discipline in the village office environment.

The development of information technology has become a primary pillar in enhancing corporate operational efficiency, where rapid and accurate data integration significantly determines business competitiveness. Case study in PT Gawi Anjung Bersama (GAB) revealed that the company is facing operational constraints because the management of delivery orders and invoices still relies on conventional office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word. This procedure causes hurdles in data sharing among staff and results in low information security due to the absence of integrated access control settings. This research aims to design and develop the Gawi Anjung Bersama Information System (SIGAB), a web-based system implementing the CodeIgniter framework. The system is developed using Waterfall model, encompassing stages from analysis, design, and implementation to testing. The research flow starts with problem identification, primary and secondary data collection, and functional and non-functional requirements analysis. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, specifically Use Case and Class Diagrams, as well as Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) for the database. The system interface is designed as wireframes on Figma web. This system separates access rights into three main actors namely owner, administrator, and staff, to ensure data security. Blackbox testing results, conducted after the system was hosted, indicate that all functional features operate as intended. The implementation of SIGAB is expected to optimize the management of delivery orders and invoices at PT GAB.

This study aims to design and develop a web-based Eweta Village Tourism Promotion Information System using the Codeigniter Framework to facilitate the dissemination of information on village tourist destinations to the community and tourists. Lokomboro Village has natural and cultural tourism potential that has not been optimally managed, especially in terms of digital promotion. This system was built using the Waterfall software development method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This web-based system is equipped with features such as tourist attraction information, photo galleries, tourism activity schedules, and contact details for managers. The CodeIgniter Framework was chosen for its advantages in MVC structure, which facilitates code management, security, and application scalability. Testing results show that the system is capable of displaying promotional information interactively, responsively, and accessible at any time by interested users, making it suitable for use as a tourism promotion medium for Pada Eweta Village.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perusahaan untuk memanfaatkan sistem informasi terkomputerisasi guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional. Salah satu permasalahan yang masih sering dihadapi adalah pengelolaan data inventaris yang belum terintegrasi, sehingga menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan pelaporan, serta ketidaksesuaian data dengan kondisi aktual. PT. Mitracomm Ekasarana, khususnya unit Mitracomm Ekasarana Business Process Services (MBPS), masih menggunakan sistem pencatatan inventaris berbasis spreadsheet yang belum terpusat dan terintegrasi, sehingga menyulitkan proses pencarian data dan pengelolaan stok perangkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Inventaris Berbasis Web yang mampu membantu pengelolaan data inventaris secara lebih akurat, terstruktur, dan efisien. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang memungkinkan proses pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara cepat melalui tahapan iteratif. Sistem yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses pencatatan perangkat, pengelolaan stok, serta penyajian laporan inventaris secara real-time. Dengan diterapkannya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan manajemen secara lebih efektif.

The development of information technology has encouraged improvements in public service quality, including at the village government level. In Sunggal Kanan Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, the process of submitting public complaints and aspirations is still carried out manually, resulting in issues related to documentation, transparency, and follow-up actions. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Village Public Complaint and Aspiration Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The RAD method was chosen because it emphasizes fast system development through iterative stages involving active user participation, namely Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. The developed system provides features such as user registration and login, complaint and aspiration submission forms, report status tracking, and an admin dashboard for managing and following up on reports. The results show that the system improves efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing public aspirations. Through this system, citizens can submit reports online without visiting the village office and monitor their report status in real time. The implementation of the RAD method proved effective in delivering a system that meets user needs within a relatively short development time.
