Communication is a fundamental aspect of human life. However, individuals with hearing and speech impairments often face barriers in communicating with the general public. The Indonesian Sign System (SIBI) serves as a communication solution for the deaf and speech-impaired community in Indonesia, yet public understanding of SIBI remains limited. To address this issue, this study aims to develop an automatic translation model from SIBI sign language into Indonesian text by utilizing Deep Learning technology, specifically the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. CNN was chosen for its ability to effectively recognize visual patterns, making it suitable for processing hand gesture images in sign language. This research involved collecting and classifying a dataset of hand images based on the alphabet or words in SIBI, which were then used to train the CNN model. The designed CNN model was built to accurately classify hand signs and translate them into Indonesian text. The results of this study have the potential to serve as a supportive solution for inclusive communication between the deaf community and the wider public, and can be further developed for contextual sentence translation. Keywords: Indonesian Sign System (SIBI), CNN, Deep Learning, Automatic Translation, Inclusive Communication

This study explores the conceptual integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and data analytics within the framework of sustainable digital accounting, with Industry 5.0 acting as a moderating paradigm. As organizations increasingly face demands for transparency, ethical governance, and sustainable operations, the limitations of traditional accounting systems have become evident. ESG reporting plays a crucial role in communicating non-financial performance and guiding strategic decisions aligned with stakeholder interests and regulatory expectations. However, the effectiveness of ESG disclosures is often hindered by fragmented data structures, inconsistent standards, and insufficient technological support. Data analytics, when integrated into ESG processes, enhances the precision, timeliness, and reliability of sustainability disclosures through predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and real time performance monitoring. Yet, despite its potential, the adoption of data analytics in accounting remains limited and under-theorized. Industry 5.0 introduces a human centric approach to technological transformation, emphasizing ethical innovation, inclusivity, and resilience. By positioning Industry 5.0 as a contextual and moderating framework, this study offers a novel perspective on how ESG and data analytics can synergize to create ethically aligned, future-ready accounting systems. Employing a systematic literature review, the research develops a conceptual model linking ESG, data analytics, and Industry 5.0, providing insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers aiming to embed sustainability into digital accounting systems. The findings underscore the importance of aligning digital tools with ethical and societal values to advance accountable and sustainable business practices..

The development of digital technology has made social media an integral part of children's lives, including students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). This study aims to explore the impact of social media on the language patterns of class 5C students at MI Hasyim Asy'ari. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and participant observations of 14 students who regularly access social media. The findings show that platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube are the main sources of new vocabulary acquisition, such as the terms "kepo", "narsis", and "anjir". These words reflect changes in students' language styles that are increasingly informal and often deviate from standard Indonesian language rules. Although social media can contribute to enriching vocabulary and increasing children's interest in communicating, negative impacts such as the dominance of slang, misuse of meaning, and reduced concern for the correct use of Indonesian are also very real. Therefore, the role of educators and parents in supervising and directing the use of social media is very important. The language learning curriculum in schools needs to be adjusted to the development of the digital era without abandoning appropriate linguistic values. With the right strategy, social media can be used as a useful language learning tool without reducing the essence of Indonesian as a national identity.

Digital technology has significantly shifted communication patterns among the residents of RT 02 RW 08 Bangetayu, transitioning from traditional face-to-face interactions to digital spaces, particularly through Facebook groups. This study employs a qualitative method, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews with nine informants, and digital content analysis to explore this transformation. The findings show that, while direct communication still exists, digital interactions have become dominant due to their speed, expressive freedom, and coordination efficiency. This shift is largely driven by increased accessibility to digital platforms, the rise of digital culture, and the comfort of communicating without facing traditional social barriers. Residents are more inclined to engage online as it provides a sense of convenience and a platform for sharing opinions freely. However, the study also highlights a paradox where online participation has surged, while face-to-face conversations have declined, leading to challenges in maintaining social cohesion within the community. The study suggests that while digital communication offers many advantages, it is essential to find a balance between online and offline interactions to preserve the strong community ties that are fostered through personal, direct engagement. The implications of this research call for efforts to promote a hybrid communication model that integrates both digital and face-to-face interactions for the benefit of community building and social harmony

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in science education on students’ environmental literacy and science communication skills at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, focusing on the topic of disaster mitigation. The research employed a causal comparative approach with a post-test only design, comparing two student groups: an experimental class using the PBL model and a control class using conventional teaching. The results revealed a significant difference in environmental literacy, with the experimental class achieving a higher average score (81.86) compared to the control class (62.05). This indicates that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' understanding, awareness, and environmentally responsible behavior. The PBL approach encourages active student engagement and the application of knowledge to real-world scenarios, which is particularly beneficial in the context of environmental issues and disaster mitigation. By working through problems related to environmental challenges, students are likely to gain a deeper understanding of the topic, which fosters a sense of responsibility towards environmental sustainability. In terms of science communication, although the experimental class showed a higher average score (75.78) than the control class (72.92), the difference was not statistically significant. This may be due to a lack of intensive training in scientific discussions and presentations. While PBL encourages collaborative problem-solving and idea-sharing, students may still require more structured practice in presenting and communicating their findings clearly and persuasively. The integration of more structured activities focusing on science communication skills could further enhance the effectiveness of the PBL model. Overall, the PBL model demonstrates positive potential in improving both environmental literacy and science communication. However, to achieve its full impact, its implementation must be consistent, with a focus on providing students with additional opportunities to develop their communication skills.

This study discusses the symbolic meaning contained in the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi by Joko Pinurbo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a semiotic analysis method as a theoretical basis, which allows researchers to interpret the signs and symbols in the poetic texts in depth. The results of the study show that the figurative language in the poems does not only function as rhetorical decoration or mere linguistic ornamentation, but has a strong and essential symbolic function in conveying hidden messages and the poet's inner emotions. Symbols such as "storm", "refrigerator", "twilight", "window", "door", "river", and others are not only concrete images, but convey deep meanings related to inner suffering, past memories, the search for self-identity, feelings of alienation, and the search for the universal meaning of life. In addition, this study also identifies various types of figurative language used by Joko Pinurbo in the anthology, including metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, synecdoche, paradox, and irony. All types of figurative language are skillfully used to enrich the meaning of poetry and deepen the aesthetic experience of readers, allowing them to feel and reproduce the messages hidden behind the words. Thus, this study confirms that the use of figurative language in poetry is not only a literary technique, but also a powerful medium of expression and a means of communicating complex meanings in modern literary works. Instant noodles are a widely consumed fast food product, and consumer understanding of their nutritional content and potential health risks is thought to influence both attitudes and behaviors related to their consumption. Specifically, this understanding may affect how individuals meet their energy requirements—measured by the Recommended Energy Intake (REI)—through the consumption of instant noodles. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and the consumption practices of instant noodles among consumers at Warmindo K17 in Surabaya. A quantitative, cross-sectional research design was employed. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Descriptive statistics, Spearman’s rank correlation, and Fisher’s exact tests were utilized to analyze the relationships between knowledge, attitudes, and consumption practices. The results indicated a statistically significant association between knowledge levels and consumption practices (p = 0.030), as well as between attitudes and consumption practices (p = 0.006), with both p-values falling below the 0.05 threshold. These findings suggest that higher levels of nutritional knowledge and more positive attitudes are associated with healthier instant noodle consumption practices. The study underscores the importance of enhancing public nutrition education to encourage healthier dietary behaviors. Furthermore, the findings may offer valuable insights for Warmindo business operators in developing more effective strategies for communicating product information to consumers.
