This study aims to analyze teachers' and students' responses to critical thinking skills in biology learning at SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were 11th-grade students and biology teachers. The results indicate that the evaluation process conducted by teachers was inconsistent. Essay-based evaluations were deemed effective in measuring critical thinking skills, although not always based on specific indicators. Most students assessed critical thinking questions as moderately difficult, with their evaluation results categorized as high. However, a gap in students' understanding was identified, requiring further attention. This study recommends the systematic use of critical thinking indicators to better support the development of students' critical thinking skills.

This study examines the implementation of policies for the recognition and protection of the indigenous law community in Kampung Kuta, Ciamis Regency. A qualitative approach was employed, gathering data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis identified key issues, and triangulation ensured validity by cross-referencing multiple data sources. A central finding is the ongoing conflict between customary laws in Kampung Kuta, which support communal land ownership, and national land regulations that emphasize individual land registration, leading to legal ambiguity and disputes. The study reveals substantial challenges, including inadequate socialization by the government, which has resulted in limited awareness within the indigenous community regarding their rights. Furthermore, limited financial and human resources impede effective implementation, while bureaucratic inefficiencies and poor coordination among implementing agencies have delayed policy outcomes. To address these issues, it is essential to improve resource allocation, conduct regular community workshops to enhance understanding of indigenous rights, and establish a legal framework that harmonizes customary and national laws. Strengthening local authorities and aligning policy objectives with the cultural context of Kampung Kuta are also critical steps. These measures are necessary to safeguard indigenous rights and preserve Kampung Kuta’s cultural heritage, fostering a sustainable model for indigenous rights protection in Indonesia.

This article analyzes the word “seed” as a metaphor of God's word in Jesus' parables found in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) with a semantic approach. The metaphor of “seed” in the context of first-century agriculture is used by Jesus to describe human responses to God's words, which are likened to different types of soil. This study explores the literal, metaphorical, and symbolic meanings of the Greek word σπόρος (sporos), and compares its usage in the three Synoptic Gospels to reveal differences in their narrative emphases. This study shows that the metaphor of “seed” not only describes the dynamics of spiritual growth, but also conveys a theological message about the importance of faith, perseverance, and readiness of heart in receiving God's word. As such, this article offers a new perspective that connects biblical and linguistic studies to deepen the understanding of Jesus' teaching.

Teenagers today are filled with a number of rapid technological changes and developments. From a financial perspective, teenagers at this stage have a growing ability to understand the principles of saving and spending money, not only the basics, but also long-term goals. The three main areas that parents should focus on are income, savings, and responsible spending (shopping or investment). Problems that often occur in society (including teenagers) are such as wasteful living (lifestyle), online loan debt, and being trapped in online gambling. The emergence of several entertainment venues, cafes, and angkringan makes spending difficult for teenagers to control. The methods used in this service are lectures, simulations, discussions and questions and answers regarding the usefulness and benefits of understanding financial literacy. The results of this service show the different nature and patterns of financial management of teenagers requiring presentation patterns that need to be adjusted. In the implementation of the activity, there were participants (some) who were more enthusiastic or serious about this series of training. Presenters (speakers) require the application of andragogy model learning. This model is intended so that the presenter (material provider) and participants are not bored, comfortable in communicating and feedback appears quickly. The integration of Islamic education into a nation’s educational system represents a strategic effort to align religious and national educational objectives under a unified policy framework. In many Muslim-majority countries, the responsibility for managing Islamic education is delegated to local governments as part of a broader national consensus involving various educational stakeholders. This arrangement, however, often raises tensions because education policy is inherently a political decision influenced by state interests and ideological considerations. The process of incorporating Islamic education within the national system reflects the dynamic interplay between religion and politics, where Islamic education both shapes and is shaped by political structures. This study explores how political power affects the development, autonomy, and implementation of Islamic education policies. The objective is to highlight the challenges of maintaining educational freedom and religious authenticity while ensuring state oversight and quality assurance. The findings emphasize that a deep understanding of educational politics enables Muslim educators and policymakers to advocate for Islamic education that aligns with Islamic principles yet remains relevant within the national educational framework. Therefore, the balance between state control and institutional independence is essential in realizing the holistic goals of Islamic education in contemporary society.

This study aims to analyze the effect of return on asset (ROA), current ratio (CR), and company size on the value of companies in the metal and similar industrial sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021-2022 period. The research was motivated by the need to understand how financial indicators and company characteristics influence the overall market value of companies in this particular industry. The hypothesis of the study was formulated based on theoretical frameworks and previous empirical research findings. To conduct this study, a purposive sampling method was employed, which involved selecting companies based on certain predetermined criteria. A total of 58 companies from the metal and related sectors were included in the sample. Data for the study was gathered from annual financial reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that company size does not have a significant effect on the company value, suggesting that factors such as financial performance may be more crucial in determining value than the size of the company itself. However, the study found that both return on assets (ROA) and current ratio (CR) have a significant positive impact on company value. These findings emphasize the importance of efficient asset management and liquidity in increasing a company’s market value. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the financial factors that influence the value of companies in the metal and industrial sectors and provides insights for investors and management.
