Digitalization has become a key factor driving global economic transformation, including the development of the Islamic economy in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the opportunities, challenges, and strategies for advancing the Islamic economy in the digital era through a literature-based research method. Information was gathered by reviewing documents, articles, and relevant literature related to the digitalization of the Islamic economy, including analyses of Sharia-compliant fintech, halal e-commerce, and digital Islamic banking. The findings indicate that digitalization offers numerous opportunities to enhance service efficiency, expand access to Islamic financial services, strengthen the capacity of MSMEs, and accelerate the growth of the halal industry. However, the digital transformation process also presents several challenges, such as low levels of digital and Islamic financial literacy, potential data breaches, the spread of misinformation, regulatory inefficiencies, and legal uncertainties associated with emerging technologies such as Sharia-compliant blockchain. In addition, digital inequality and ethical issues must be addressed to ensure alignment with the principles of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah.This study highlights the importance of implementing a comprehensive Sharia-based development strategy through regulatory strengthening, education on digital ethics, enhanced supervisory functions, and collaboration between the government, academia, industry players, and society. With the right approach, digitalization can become a significant tool in building an Islamic economic ecosystem that is just, inclusive, and sustainable.

This study aims to identify the types of products or creative works produced by Indonesia’s golden generation in the context of developing a talent-based creative economy in the digital era. A talent-based economy refers to an economic model that leverages individual skills, creativity, and innovation as the main capital for generating economic value. Using a literature review approach, this research analyzes the implementation of a talent- driven creative economy, particularly how the youth especially Gen Z and millennials produce various digital outputs such as illustrations, animations, educational applications, video content, NFTs, and social media-based e-commerce products. This implementation reflects the integration of individual creativity with digital technology utilization, aligning with core 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy. The findings reveal that the creative economy contributes not only to cultural and artistic sectors but also to real economic sectors such as digital MSMEs, content industries, educational technology (edutech), and the broader digital economy. These insights show that with the support of digital infrastructure, technological literacy, and affirmative policies, the golden generation can foster innovation with economic value while enhancing national competitiveness amid global transformation toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

Without the right strategy, such great potential is difficult to realize sustainably. This study aims to explore strategies that can be applied in the development of human resources in order to improve the performance of local wisdom-based entrepreneurship in the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on several boarding schools that have succeeded in forming productive business units by utilizing local potential, such as agriculture, fisheries, crafts, and food product processing. Research findings indicate that several crucial factors in building entrepreneurial human resources in pesantren include: strengthening character and work ethic, hands-on practice-based training in the field, collaboration with local business actors for knowledge transfer and market networking, as well as historical and philosophical understanding of local wisdom values. This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Agency) of West Bandung Regency in the distribution of productive zakat as a means to foster community-based business development during the first semester of 2025. Productive zakat, unlike consumptive assistance, is positioned as a strategic instrument to improve the economic independence of mustahik (zakat recipients), particularly micro-entrepreneurs such as small shop owners, farmer groups, tailors, and individuals engaged in similar economic activities. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to capture an in-depth understanding of program implementation. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews with BAZNAS officials, serving as key informants, and the examination of relevant documents, reports, and activity records. The findings indicate that the application process for assistance is conducted through formal, verified requests, ensuring transparency and accountability, rather than accepting open-form submissions. The form and amount of assistance are adjusted to the specific type and needs of each business, and recipients are prioritized based on the eight asnaf categories, with a focus on those who already have ongoing business activities. In addition to capital provision, the program aims to empower mustahik to transition into muzakki (zakat givers) over time, thereby creating a sustainable cycle of economic empowerment. Monitoring activities are conducted three times a year to assess progress and identify challenges. However, the study also highlights constraints, including limited mentoring sessions and the need for more consistent supervision to ensure that the assistance translates into long-term economic impact. To maximize effectiveness, stronger collaboration among BAZNAS, local communities, and regional government is recommended, alongside capacity-building initiatives for beneficiaries. This collaborative approach is expected to reinforce the sustainability and impact of productive zakat programs, contributing to broader poverty reduction and community empowerment goals.
