In the Christian context, the resurrection of the dead is based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion, which forms the basis of the Christian faith that all people will experience resurrection at the end of time to face the final judgment. In the Old Testament, death is understood as the separation between body and spirit. After we die, our bodies will decompose and become soil again while the spirit will leave our bodies for the afterlife, also known as Sheol. There is also a belief in the resurrection of the dead, which is the physical return of the body from the dead. This belief is reflected in books such as Daniel and Isaiah, which state that at the end of time, God will raise the dead to eternal life or eternal punishment. This concept of resurrection affirms the belief in divine justice and restoration, where each person will receive reward or punishment according to their deeds. In Christian theology, the resurrection of the dead provides hope for eternal life as well as complete redemption, and simultaneously reminds the faithful of the importance of living righteously and faithfully to God's teachings.

One of the important sacraments in Christianity is the sacrament of baptism. Different denominations or sects also have different understandings of baptism. GBI itself believes that baptism consists of two, namely water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism. In connection with the low understanding of youth at GBI Silangkitang regarding baptism, it is necessary to hold a seminar on the theme of baptism. Before this seminar was held, the writer conducted a literature review, so that the results of the research presented in the seminar had an adequate academic basis. The research results that have been presented in the seminar are that baptism is divided into two, namely water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism. Water baptism is a sign of obedience to God's word, water baptism must follow Christ's example, and water baptism is a sign of being united with the death and resurrection of Christ. Furthermore, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the baptism carried out by the Lord Jesus into the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is God's gift to give power to believers to carry out ministry according to the gifts of the Spirit received by believers and these gifts of the Spirit must be balanced with the fruit of the Spirit.   Keywords: ,

The preacher highlights the emptiness and transience of the materialistic world as well as the importance of man's relationship with God to find true meaning in life. This book emphasizes that living without fear of God is considered futile, and only by surrendering to Allah can a person find true peace and happiness. Through Christ's death and resurrection, vanity can be rejected and life can be directed to eternal things.

An important part of eschatological teachings is futurist fact, which is the disclosure of future events through prophecies of the past. Therefore, Bible prophecy is at the center of the study and discussion of eschatological teachings. Eschatology is the most important doctrine that should be taught in the church, family and school environment as material for Christian religious education. The teaching of eschatology is very important to teach to students at school, so that they understand it and think about it. repent and believe in Jesus Christ and obtain the salvation of eternal life, now while you are still alive in the world and later when Jesus comes a second time to receive every believer. By knowing eschatology, students can prepare themselves spiritually with a firm belief that Jesus will come a second time to gather believers from the dead in the first stage of the resurrection, and people who are still alive at that time will experience the rapture. to heaven). In Christian religious education in schools, students must be taught that in the first stage of the resurrection, both Old Testament and New Testament believers, as well as believers who were still alive at the time of death, will experience resurrection. ; resurrected from the grave rapture), they become a glorified body like the Lamb of God. Christian religious formation must include advice to be alert, encouragement to work faithfully, development of skills, strengthening responsibility for all actions, and a glorious hope for the day of the Lord's return.

This conceptual research article develops an eschatological-hope-based pastoral counseling model for congregants experiencing bereavement. Bereavement is not only an affective response to death but also a disruption of meaning, embodied routines, social belonging, and theological imagination. Contemporary grief research has clarified the distinction between normative grief, prolonged grief disorder, complicated spiritual grief, and the heterogeneous trajectories through which bereaved persons adapt. However, pastoral responses in local churches often remain fragmented, oscillating between sympathetic presence, doctrinal explanation, ritual care, and informal advice without an integrated model that is clinically cautious and theologically constructive. This study employs a qualitative constructive literature review, synthesizing bereavement psychology, meaning reconstruction theory, spiritual care research, and Christian eschatological theology. The article proposes the PASTOR model: Presence, Assessment, Story, Scripture, Theological lament, Ongoing communal practice, and referral and review. The main synthesis argues that eschatological hope should not be used to bypass grief but to hold lament, embodied absence, continuing bonds, and future-oriented resurrection hope within a disciplined pastoral process. The model contributes a practical framework for churches seeking to accompany mourners without medicalizing ordinary grief, minimizing suffering, or ignoring cases that require professional mental health referral.

The people of Kalambe Fort understand that death was caused by sins committed by the first humans who were placed in the Garden of Eden. Sin creates a wall of separation between humans and God, resulting in humans experiencing death. The presence of Christ breaks down the wall of separation between humans and God, namely sin. Through the death and resurrection of Christ as a sign that Christ has defeated death and humans gain the freedom to gain life after death. However, some members of the Fort Kalambe' congregation are still drowning in grief when facing death. The method used in this research is the Qualitative Phenomenology method where the author describes life in the congregation, describing phenomena that occur in the field, using Arthur Schopenhauer's theory which considers aesthetics to be a path to liberation of the will. The results of this study state that the worry about grief events is the congregation's fear of being abandoned by their beloved family. The congregation remains hopeful in the resurrection of Christ, and sorrow can disappear when people can let go of their will not to harbor thoughts and feelings for people who have gone.

The vision of passing from death to life is a glorious awakening. It is something that nature completely ignores, totally contrary to how it works (une privatione ad habitum non datur regressus-no way without ownership). Interestingly, the book of Ezekiel shows an unusual hope. In a valley full of human bones, God asked, "Can these bones rise again?" " Impossible! However, Ezekiel knows that nothing is impossible in God's hands. This paper uses qualitative research methods with a literary approach to present problems as well as analyze and collect data. With this in mind, the writer wants to discuss a number of things related to the text of Ezekiel 37 :1-14 itself. The main problem being considered is how to interpret the passage Ezekiel. 37:1-14. The conclusion is that through the text of Ezekiel 37:1-14, God actually wants to convey promises and messages of hope through Ezekiel. Text it mentions that Ezekiel saw a vision of dry bones in the valley, which was interpreted as a promise to save the Israelites.
