This study aims to analyze the dynamics of adolescent love conflict in the film One Fine Day (2018), directed by Asep Kusdinar, through the lens of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis. The main focus of the study is the interaction of the three personality structures: the Id, Ego, and Superego, which shape the main characters' decision-making and behavior when facing romantic dilemmas. Using qualitative research methods with A content analysis approach, this study highlights how the characters Mahesa and Alana experience tension between impulsive drives (Id), demands of reality (Ego), and internalized moral norms (Superego). The results of this analysis indicate that the adolescent love conflict in this film is not merely a matter of superficial emotions, but rather a reflection of psychological struggles in the process of searching for identity. The film effectively visualizes how its characters negotiate desires, social rules, and moral principles, ultimately leading to character growth and emotional maturity. This study confirms the relevance of Freud's theory in understanding the psychological complexity of young people, especially as represented through cinema.

This study aims to describe the representation of adolescent conflicts in the film Jumbo directed by Ryan Adriandhy and to analyze its relevance as teaching material for review text learning in vocational high schools. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using content analysis. The data consisted of dialogues, scenes, character expressions, plot, and cinematic elements representing adolescent conflicts in the film. Data sources included the film Jumbo, interviews with Indonesian language teachers and eleventh-grade students at SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta, and review text learning documents. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Stuart Hall’s representation theory was used as the analytical framework. The findings show that the film represents identity, family, friendship, and social conflicts experienced by adolescents. These conflicts are constructed through dialogues, visuals, character relationships, and plot development. Furthermore, the film is relevant as teaching material for review text learning because it helps students understand story elements, increases learning engagement, and develops analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills. However, students still need guidance in distinguishing summaries from evaluations in review texts.

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that mental health issues frequently arise during late childhood and early adolescence. Adolescence is  a transitional phase marked by physical, emotional, and social changes, which can impact an individual's psychological well-being. Data from the 2022 Indonesia-National Adolescent Mental Health Survey (I-NAMHS) showed that approximately 15.5 million adolescents (34.9%) experienced mental health problems, while 2.45 million adolescents (5.5%) were identified as having mental disorders. This confirms that adolescent mental health is an issue that requires serious attention. This study aimed to determine the mental health status of adolescents at SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja. The research method used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The population included all 12th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja, with 188 students selected as samples using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using the Mental Health Inventory (MHI-38) questionnaire and was analyzed using univariate analysis. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents were in the good category, amounting to 114 (60.6%). Based on gender characteristics, the majority of respondents were female, amounting to 110 (58.5%), while based on residential status, most respondents lived with their parents/family, amounting to 187 (99.5%). These findings indicated that, in general, the mental health of adolescents at SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja was in a fairly good condition.

The increased intake of packaged sugar-sweetened beverages among adolescents may affect health status, particularly blood glucose levels, as their high added sugar content can disrupt glucose metabolism when consumed excessively. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the consumption of packaged sugar-sweetened beverages and blood glucose levels among high school students in Tuban District. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed, involving 2,092 students from four schools. The sample was selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Data on beverage consumption were collected using a Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), while blood glucose levels were measured using a glucometer. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with SPSS version 24. The results indicated a significant relationship between the consumption of packaged sugar-sweetened beverages and blood glucose levels among high school students in Tuban District (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that higher consumption levels are associated with higher blood glucose levels in adolescents.

The Food & Beverage industry relies heavily on the availability and quality of fresh raw materials, making inventory management crucial. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method in inventory management at PT K Hospitality Investment. The research design used a case study. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to assess the implementation of the FIFO inventory method in inventory management. The results show that PT K Hospitality Investment adopts a strict chronological inventory system and issuance of goods based on the order of entry. The use of FIFO inventory is often supported by the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) technique. Integrated inventory control has contributed to the financial stability of PT K Hospitality Investment. When properly implemented, the FIFO method not only helps reduce waste and increase efficiency, but also supports the company's operational sustainability. Although the implementation has been successful, the company still faces challenges such as limited infrastructure, a manual recording system, sudden changes in trends or guest order volumes, and delays in supplier deliveries.

This study aims to analyze the use of digital learning media in improving learning outcomes and to examine the impact of social media on adolescents’ behavior in daily life in the digital era. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study (library research) design, conducted through the collection, review, and analysis of various relevant scholarly sources. The findings indicate that digital learning media play an important role in enhancing students’ motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes, as they are able to present material in an interactive, engaging, and easily understandable manner. On the other hand, social media has a dual impact on adolescents’ behavior. Its positive effects include ease of communication, access to information, and the development of creativity, while its negative effects include addiction, decreased learning focus, social comparison that lowers self-esteem, exposure to negative content, and the emergence of the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon, which can affect mental health.  Therefore, the wise use of digital media and proper supervision are necessary to support the improvement of educational quality while also fostering positive character development in adolescents.

Adolescents are considered a vulnerable group to nutritional problems because they experience rapid physical growth accompanied by lifestyle changes and unhealthy eating habits. The increasing prevalence of overweight and obesity among teenagers has become a major public health concern that requires serious attention. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between peer influence, the frequency of eating out, and fast-food consumption habits with the incidence of overweight among students at SMAN 1 Surabaya. The research applied a quantitative approach using an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional method. A total of 81 students participated in the study and were selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, SQ-FFQ forms, and anthropometric measurements, then analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The findings revealed significant associations between peer influence, eating out frequency, and fast-food consumption habits with the occurrence of overweight among adolescents. Students who more frequently consumed meals outside the home and regularly ate fast food showed a greater tendency to experience overweight and obesity. These results indicate that social environments and modern dietary patterns contribute to the increasing prevalence of overweight among adolescents. Therefore, nutrition education and healthy lifestyle promotion should be strengthened through the involvement of schools, families, and peer groups.

Parental conflict is a significant risk factor that threatens the psychological well-being of adolescents. This study aims to review the relationship between parental conflict and anxiety levels in adolescents through a qualitative literature approach. Various research findings consistently show that high-frequency and high-intensity parental conflict contributes to increased anxiety, emotional insecurity, and maladaptive coping in adolescents. The mechanisms underlying this relationship include the emotional security theory, the cognitive-contextual framework, and the spillover hypothesis, each of which explains how conflict in the family system propagates psychologically to children. The results of this literature study confirm that adolescents who are regularly exposed to parental conflict show a significantly higher risk of developing generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and related internalizing problems. The family environment, particularly the quality of the parental relationship, is the dominant proximal determinant of adolescent mental health. Furthermore, parental conflict has been shown to undermine parent-child attachment, destabilize family functioning, and trigger chronic stress responses in adolescents who are still developing emotional regulation capacities. In the Indonesian context, this problem is particularly urgent given the high prevalence of mental health disorders among adolescents aged 15–24 years. Therefore, integrated preventive interventions involving families, schools, and mental health professionals are urgently needed.

Bullying among adolescents is an aggressive behavior carried out intentionally, repeatedly, and involving an imbalance of power between the perpetrator and the victim. This phenomenon is an important issue because it can affect adolescents’ psychological well-being, social relationships, and academic achievement in both the short and long term. This study uses a literature review method by collecting and analyzing recent national and international studies regarding the causes, forms, and impacts of bullying. The findings indicate that bullying is influenced by internal factors, such as low empathy, poor self-control, negative self-concept, and the desire for social recognition. In addition, external factors also contribute, including parenting styles, peer influence, unfavorable school climate, and the development of social media that increases the risk of cyberbullying. The impacts of bullying are experienced not only by victims, who may suffer from low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal, but also by perpetrators, who are at risk of developing persistent aggressive behavior and reduced empathy. Therefore, cooperation among families, schools, and communities is needed to prevent and address bullying effectively.

This study aims to explore issues faced by students and the contribution of guidance and counseling (BK) services in addressing various challenges at MTSN Cirebon. The issues studied include low levels of discipline, school withdrawal behavior, lack of learning motivation, and smoking habits among students. This study employed a qualitative, descriptive approach. Participants in the study consisted of BK teachers, students, and student organizations (OSIM and MPK) selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Its validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The findings of this study indicate that the issues faced by students are influenced by internal and external factors, such as lack of self-awareness, low learning motivation, environmental impacts, and excessive use of social media. BK services play a vital role in addressing these issues through preventive and curative approaches, as well as collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and school organizations. In addition, consistent discipline, engaging learning methods, and monitoring of student behavior are also crucial elements in problem-solving efforts. This research confirms that resolving student issues requires a comprehensive and collaborative approach across all parties within the school environment. Guidance and counseling services play a strategic role in supporting students in overcoming challenges and developing their full potential.

The increasing spread of HIV/AIDS in Jayapura City requires immediate and sustainable preventive efforts, particularly through reproductive health education for adolescents. This program aimed to improve adolescents’ understanding of reproductive health, puberty changes, and behaviors that may increase the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission. The activity was conducted for adolescents participating in Sunday School at GKKD Buper Waena, aged between 10 and 15 years. The program was carried out in April 2025 through counseling sessions, question-and-answer activities, and focus group discussions. These approaches were chosen to provide participants with an interactive learning experience while also creating opportunities for them to share their personal experiences and perspectives related to reproductive health. A total of fifty adolescents participated enthusiastically in the activity. During the sessions, participants asked various questions that were answered directly by the speakers to clarify their understanding of reproductive health and risky behaviors. In addition, six focus group discussions were conducted to discuss participants’ personal experiences regarding puberty, friendships, dating, and behaviors such as kissing. The results of the activity indicate that reproductive health education can improve adolescents’ knowledge, awareness, and skills in maintaining personal health and avoiding behaviors that may increase the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission.

Family communication plays a crucial role in shaping the character and behavior of adolescents, especially in facing social challenges such as online gambling. This study aims to determine how parental communication patterns influence adolescents' involvement in online gambling activities in Lalang Village, Rana Mese District, East Manggarai Regency. Furthermore, this study also identifies various efforts made by parents to address this problem. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate four family communication patterns implemented by parents: pluralistic, consensual, protective, and laissez-faire. The pluralistic pattern is characterized by open communication and equal discussion, which encourages children to avoid online gambling. The consensual pattern combines warm communication with an emphasis on shared values. Conversely, the protective pattern tends to be dominant, where parents supervise without providing space for dialogue, resulting in children becoming withdrawn. The laissez-faire pattern, with minimal communication, makes children feel free to engage in gambling. This study uses the symbolic interaction theory, namely mind, self, and society. In addition to communication patterns, this study also found that parents undertake various efforts, such as limiting digital device use, providing advice, and increasing supervision of their children's social environment. These efforts demonstrate that their effectiveness is highly dependent on the quality of communication within the family.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the TikTok application on changes in the lifestyles of teenage girls in the digital age. TikTok, as one of the most popular social media platforms among the younger generation, plays an important role in shaping the way they think, behave, and interact socially. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the challenges faced in maintaining a positive lifestyle, as well as efforts to minimize its negative impacts. The results of the study show that TikTok has a dual impact: positively, this platform facilitates self-expression, creativity, and the development of interests; however, negatively, excessive use can trigger consumptive behavior, decreased self-confidence, and deviations from social and cultural values. Factors such as beauty trends, imitation of foreign cultures, and social pressure in the virtual world also influence the lifestyles of adolescent girls. To reduce these negative impacts, it is necessary to improve digital literacy, parental supervision, and education on social media ethics in schools. With a wise approach, TikTok can be used as a positive tool in building the character, creativity, and self-confidence of adolescent girls in the digital age.

This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on adolescents’ mental health through a literature review. The method used is a literature review, which involves the collection and analysis of various relevant scientific articles published in the last five years.  Data were obtained from journals and related scientific works, then systematically analyzed to identify patterns of association between bullying and adolescents’ mental health. The results of the review indicate that the majority of studies reveal a negative impact of bullying on mental health, such as the emergence of anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and difficulties in social interaction. However, some studies found that this relationship was not statistically significant, suggesting the role of other factors, such as social support, family circumstances, and an individual’s ability to cope with stress. In addition to affecting victims, bullying also impacts perpetrators and bystanders, making it a complex phenomenon. Therefore, comprehensive prevention and intervention efforts are needed through collaboration between schools, families, and the community.
