This article examines pneumatological methods and spiritual practices across three Pentecostal seasons: Classical Pentecostalism, Charismatic, and Neo-Charismatic. It highlights the importance of these three movements within the framework of the development of the Pentecostal-Charismatic Church in Indonesia. This research begins with the observation that scholars continue to use the terms Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Neo-Charismatic overlappingly, despite their unique theological and practical emphases. This article presents a critical-comparative literature review on baptism in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and spiritual gifts, forms of spirituality, interdenominational relations, theological risks, and ecclesiological implications. The research finds that Classical Pentecostalism emphasizes baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as the primary evidence, Charismatics extend Spirit-led activities toward cross-denominational renewal, while Neo-Charismatics place additional emphasis on power, miracles, healing, spiritual warfare, and success in life. The contribution proposed in this article is a theological typology that can be used for critical reading of Pentecostal-Charismatic practices in Indonesia while still appreciating the richness of the experience of the Spirit. This typology can help churches consider experience, Scripture, Christian character, and ecclesiastical institutional accountability in a more balanced way.

This study examines the construction of da'wah methodology in the Qur’an based on Imam Ibn Kathir’s interpretation in Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Azhim. The research focuses on Qur’anic verses that explain the commands, principles, and methods of da'wah practiced by the prophets and messengers. Using a library research method, this study places Tafsir Ibn Kathir as the primary source, supported by relevant tafsir works and academic literature. The findings show that the Qur’anic da'wah methodology, according to Ibn Kathir, follows a universal and consistent pattern grounded in tawhid, wisdom, good advice, and courteous dialogue. The da'wah of the prophets shares a common objective, namely inviting people to worship Allah alone, obey His commands, and follow the messengers sent to them. The novelty of this study lies in its systematic formulation of Qur’anic da'wah methodology through Ibn Kathir’s classical interpretation, revealing the continuity of da'wah principles across prophetic generations. The study also emphasizes that effective da'wah depends on the suitability of methods to audience conditions and the moral example of the da’i. Therefore, this methodological construction is both normative and practical for contemporary da'wah challenges. It strengthens understanding of prophetic communication ethics in responding to diverse social and religious contexts today. This research contributes to the development of da'wah and tafsir studies and may serve as a conceptual reference for Qur’an-based da'wah practice.

Social conflict between neighbors is a phenomenon that often appears in pluralistic society and has the potential to disrupt social harmony if not managed constructively. The conflict is generally triggered by the lack of interfaith communication, social prejudice, socio-economic inequality, as well as external party provocations that utilize rift with social relations. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of conflict between neighbors are different religions and review the relevance of Q.S. Al-Hujurat paragraph 13 as theological runway in a resolution of conflict and a strengthening of plurality values. This study used qualitative methods with the approach of literature study (library research), through an analysis of the interpretation of the Qur'an, pluralism, and scientific literature relevant to the theme and resolution of conflict. The results show that Q.S. Al-Hujurat paragraph 13 emphasizes the principle of human equality, respect for diversity, and the concept of 'arafu (know each other) as the foundation of harmonious social interaction. Proprioceptive sensor data, including inertial measurement units (IMU), joint encoders, and torque sensors, plays a critical role in state estimation for quadruped robots operating in dynamic and unstructured environments. However, these signals are often degraded by various sources of error, such as high-frequency noise, bias, drift, and contact-induced disturbances, which directly affect estimation accuracy and stability. This study presents a systematic analysis of sensor-specific noise characteristics and evaluates the effectiveness of preprocessing methods tailored to each sensor modality. Specifically, moving average filtering is applied to encoder signals to mitigate noise amplification during differentiation, while first-order low-pass filtering is employed for IMU and torque signals to suppress high-frequency noise. Experimental results on a publicly available quadruped dataset demonstrate that encoder velocity RMSE is reduced by 12.09%, high-frequency energy decreases by 59.63%, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) improves by 145.6%. However, variance reductions remain limited (3.39% for IMU and 4.05% for torque), indicating the persistence of impulsive, non-Gaussian noise caused by contact events. These findings highlight that linear preprocessing methods are effective for attenuating high-frequency noise but insufficient for handling non-Gaussian disturbances. The study provides practical insights into the effectiveness and limitations of preprocessing strategies, serving as a foundation for developing more robust signal processing and state estimation frameworks in quadruped robotics.

The rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) has driven numerous innovations in wireless communications that not only demand technical efficiency but also raise philosophical questions about the nature of scientific knowledge. One such innovation is Physical Layer Network Coding (PLNC), a communication technique that utilizes signal interference as a source of information to enhance system performance. This paper examines the philosophical dimensions of science within PLNC, focusing on three fundamental aspects: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. Ontologically, PLNC represents a new paradigm in wireless communication that reinterprets interference not merely as noise but as an opportunity. Epistemologically, knowledge of PLNC is derived through scientific methods such as mathematical modeling, experimentation, and simulation—yielding intersubjective and verifiable truths. Axiologically, PLNC holds practical value in terms of energy efficiency, data reliability, and contributions to the sustainability of IoT ecosystems, while also raising ethical considerations regarding privacy and information security. Thus, this study demonstrates that the development of PLNC cannot be separated from philosophical reflection, emphasizing the profound interconnection between technological advancement, scientific methodology, and human values.

The Fréchet distribution is one of the commonly used Extreme Value Distributions (EVDs) in statistical modeling and heavy-tailed data analysis, where it plays an important role in describing product lifetimes as well as climatic and financial phenomena. The estimation of its two parameters, namely the shape parameter and the scale parameter, is traditionally based on the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. However, maximizing the likelihood function for this distribution involves numerical difficulties, which necessitates the use of numerical optimization methods. In this study, we propose the use of the Aquila Optimizer (AO), a recent metaheuristic algorithm inspired by the hunting behavior of eagles, as an efficient numerical tool for maximizing the likelihood function of the Fréchet distribution. The objective function was formulated as the negative log-likelihood function (-LogL), and the Aquila Optimizer was employed to obtain the optimal estimates of the distribution parameters. Several simulation experiments with different sample sizes were conducted to compare the performance of the proposed method with a conventional approach represented by the Nelder–Mead method, using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) criterion. The simulation results demonstrated that the Aquila Optimizer outperformed the Nelder–Mead algorithm in many cases, although the superiority was slight. The results also showed that both algorithms were consistent, as their MSE values decreased with increasing sample size. In addition, a practical application was carried out using real data, and the results of the survival function estimation indicated a good fit.

Healthcare institutions worldwide are undergoing digital transformation to improve efficiency and patient experiences. While many studies focus on clinical applications of information technology (IT), its impact on administrative service quality remains limited, even though administrative services are patients’ primary point of contact. This study examines how IT adoption influences administrative service quality in Indonesian healthcare institutions, focusing on relationships between IT implementation levels and service quality dimensions, as well as mediating and moderating factors. Using a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, quantitative data were collected from 385 patients and 127 administrative staff across 24 hospitals, supported by 32 in-depth interviews. Service quality was measured using SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings show significant positive relationships between IT adoption and all service quality dimensions, with the strongest effects on reliability and responsiveness. Staff digital competency and system usability partially mediate these relationships, while implementation quality acts as a key moderating factor. Well-implemented systems yield substantially higher service improvements than poorly implemented ones. Most patients prefer digital services when functioning properly, although many report frustration when systems fail or staff lack competency. This study highlights the importance of effective IT implementation to enhance administrative service quality and offers practical insights for healthcare management.

Leadership constitutes a critical determinant of organizational efficiency, yet the relationship between leadership styles and administrative effectiveness remains incompletely understood, particularly across different institutional contexts. This comparative study examines how transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles influence administrative efficiency in public and private sector institutions in Indonesia. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were collected from 428 employees across 28 public institutions and 24 private organizations through validated survey instruments; qualitative data were gathered through 36 semi-structured interviews with organizational leaders and managers. Results reveal significant positive relationships between transformational leadership and administrative efficiency in both sectors (β = 0.54, p < 0.001 for public; β = 0.48, p < 0.001 for private), with transactional leadership showing moderate positive effects (β = 0.32 public; β = 0.38 private) and laissez-faire leadership demonstrating negative relationships (β = −0.28 public; β = −0.24 private). Leadership styles collectively explain 52% of efficiency variance. Mediation analysis reveals that organizational culture (28%), employee engagement (35%), and trust in leadership (22%) partially mediate transformational leadership's effects, together accounting for 62% of total indirect effects. Sector differences emerged qualitatively: transformational leadership leverages public service motivation in public institutions, while transactional leadership's performance accountability resonates more strongly in private organizations. The study contributes theoretical understanding of leadership effectiveness across institutional contexts and provides practical guidance for developing contextually appropriate leadership development programs.
