The rapid growth of the global halal economy has positioned halal products and services as important contributors to international trade, economic development, and evolving consumer markets. This study investigates the role of halal consumer protection law in supporting the advancement of the halal economy from both legal and economic perspectives. Employing a qualitative approach with a juridical normative framework, this research examines regulatory structures, halal certification mechanisms, consumer protection principles, and the broader economic implications of halal governance. The findings indicate that effective halal consumer protection frameworks are essential for establishing legal certainty, preserving product authenticity, strengthening consumer trust, and improving market transparency. From an economic perspective, comprehensive halal regulations contribute to enhancing product competitiveness, expanding global market access, encouraging industrial innovation, attracting investment, and promoting sustainable economic growth. Nevertheless, this study highlights several ongoing challenges, including the lack of harmonization among international halal standards, limited regulatory enforcement capacity, the financial burden of certification processes for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the increasing complexity of digital trade and cross-border e-commerce.

This study investigates the role of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the integration of Maqashid Sharia principles and financial inclusion strategies. Despite the strategic importance of MSMEs in economic growth and poverty reduction, many face challenges in accessing formal financial services. BMT, with its dual function of social (maal) and commercial (tamwil) activities, offers a unique platform to bridge this gap. Using a qualitative systematic literature review guided by PRISMA, this study analyzes 30 relevant articles to examine BMT operational models, implementation of Maqashid Sharia objectives, financial inclusion practices, and their impact on MSME performance. Findings indicate that BMT effectively supports MSMEs in capital access, income generation, and business resilience, but inconsistencies in balancing social and commercial objectives limit. holistic empowerment. Integrating Maqashid Sharia principles enhances ethical and sustainable outcomes, while financial inclusion expands outreach to underserved entrepreneurs. Optimization strategies, including strengthening institutional capacity, combining financial and non-financial support, and context-specific interventions, are essential for maximizing BMT effectiveness. This study contributes a comprehensive framework linking ethical, financial, and empowerment dimensions, offering practical guidance for policymakers and BMT managers in promoting inclusive and sustainable MSME development.

ASTM A36 steel has relatively low hardness and corrosion resistance, making surface treatment necessary to improve its material properties. This study aims to determine the effect of temperature and holding time variations in the pack carburizing process on the hardness, corrosion rate, and microstructure of ASTM A36 steel. The pack carburizing process was carried out using coconut shell charcoal as the carburizing medium with temperature variations of 850°C, 900°C, and 950°C and holding times of 20, 40, and 60 minutes, followed by quenching in distilled water. Hardness testing was conducted using the Rockwell B scale (HRB) method, corrosion rate testing was performed according to the ASTM G31 method, and microstructural observations were carried out using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results showed that increasing the temperature and holding time improved the hardness and corrosion resistance of ASTM A36 steel. The highest hardness value was obtained at a temperature of 950°C with a holding time of 60 minutes, reaching 114.1 HRB. Microstructural analysis revealed the formation of a martensitic phase on the specimen surface after the carburizing process.

The area and distance between buildings at POLINELA Campus make the presence of adequate connector roads an important necessity to support the mobility of the academic community. This study aims to optimize the scheduling of flexible pavement construction for the POLINELA Connector Road using the Critical Path Method (CPM) based on Microsoft Project 2021. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by processing the Budget Plan (RAB) data into a project schedule consisting of 11 main activities. CPM analysis is used to determine the sequence of work, dependencies between activities, the critical path, and project completion time. The results show that the total project duration is 23 calendar days (May 11–June 6, 2026). CPM analysis identified 10 activities on the critical path with zero float, while embankment work is a non-critical activity with time flexibility. Applying a Start-to-Start (SS) relationship with a 3-day lag between excavation and embankment work allows parallel implementation, reducing the project duration by 4 days (14.8%) compared to the conventional Finish-to-Start (FS) scenario. These results indicate that implementing CPM through Microsoft Project 2021 can increase execution time efficiency, simplify schedule control, and support decision-making in road construction project management.

The quality of boiler feedwater is a crucial factor in maintaining the operational reliability of ship machinery systems against the risks of corrosion and scale formation. This research focuses on the design and development of a real-time monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to automatically determine water quality. The hardware development utilizes a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller that integrates four main sensors: a pH sensor, a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor, and a turbidity sensor. The methodology applied is an experimental systems engineering model, encompassing circuit design, software programming, and the implementation of simple artificial intelligence. The automatic decision-making process in this tool is designed using zero-order Sugeno fuzzy logic with input parameters of turbidity, salinity, and acidity level (pH). The obtained data is transmitted wirelessly to a Firebase database and visualized through a 0.96-inch OLED display. Functional tests on seven fluid characteristics including pure water, hard water, and muddy water show that this prototype can accurately classify water quality into Good, Fair, and Poor categories. The main contribution of this design is the provision of a preventive, efficient, and applicable boiler maintenance solution for the modern shipping industry.

This study aims to analyze horror film production data using a Business Intelligence approach to generate information that can support the evaluation and planning of film production processes. The data used in this study were obtained from horror treatment documents and shot lists of a feature-length horror film, containing various information related to the filming process, such as scene numbers, shot numbers, scene descriptions, involved characters, shooting locations, and cinematographic techniques employed during production. The collected data were processed and visualized using Microsoft Power BI to develop an interactive dashboard capable of presenting important information in a visual format. The dashboard was designed to provide insights into scene distribution, shot type composition, character involvement in each scene, and shooting patterns throughout the film production process. Through data visualization in the form of an interactive dashboard, directors and production teams are expected to gain a clearer understanding of the film’s visual structure and production complexity. The resulting insights can support production evaluation and facilitate more informed decision-making for future film projects.

This study explores how Generation Z in Indonesia produces and spreads narratives of micro-interfaith harmony through the TikTok platform. Amid growing social polarization in digital spaces, casual and personal tolerance content created by Gen Z offers a new approach to building social cohesion. Using a qualitative netnography method, this research observes 20 viral videos with over 10,000 views during the 2024-2025 Ramadan period, including the War Takjil trend and the #LoginLintasIman campaign, as forms of affective digital citizenship. The findings reveal that TikTok’s algorithmic logic, driven by emotional engagement, allows grassroots narratives of tolerance to reach broad audiences organically. Within this ecosystem, values of pluralism and solidarity are not shaped by formal institutions but emerge from the participatory dynamics and digital habitus of Gen Z. This study concludes that a new form of digital interfaith citizenship is emerging, termed algorithmic harmony, where tolerance is fostered through affective interactions, viral distribution, and the everyday media practices of youth. The findings provide new insights for media studies, diversity education, and digital tolerance discourse.

This study aims to examine the effect of accounting system digitalization, financial literacy, and financial management on the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan Tembung District. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study consists of all MSMEs in Medan Tembung District, totaling 48 MSMEs; therefore, a saturated sampling technique was used, meaning all population members were selected as the sample. The data used are primary data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical tests, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results show that accounting system digitalization has a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability. Financial literacy also has a positive and significant effect and is the most dominant variable influencing MSME sustainability. In addition, financial management has a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect MSME sustainability in Medan Tembung District. The coefficient of determination indicates that the independent variables explain most of the variation in MSME sustainability, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors outside this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that MSME sustainability is strongly influenced by the implementation of accounting system digitalization, the level of financial literacy, and the financial management capabilities of business owners.

The digitalization of tax administration has become one of the Indonesian government's strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and taxpayer compliance. However, the implementation of digital tax systems among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly distributor-sector MSMEs in Batam City, still faces various administrative and technical challenges. This study aims to examine the experiences, risk perceptions, and adaptation strategies of distributor MSME actors in responding to the digitalization of tax administration following the implementation of the Harmonization of Tax Regulations Law (UU HPP). The research employed a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven distributor MSME owners in Batam City who had utilized digital tax systems such as e-Filing and Coretax. The findings indicate that most business actors still experience limitations in technical understanding, concerns regarding reporting errors, and difficulties adapting to changes in digital tax systems and regulations. To address these challenges, MSME actors developed several adaptation strategies, including the use of tax consultants, hybrid manual-digital bookkeeping systems, and informal assistance through the internet and business networks. This study highlights that the success of tax digitalization requires a more adaptive approach, stable systems, and policies that are aligned with the characteristics of local MSMEs.

Concrete volume calculation is a crucial factor in preventing cost overruns when preparing the Budget Plan (RAB) for construction projects. In arch bridge projects, the complex structural geometry often makes conventional volume calculation methods complicated and prone to errors, particularly due to the geometric complexity of the arch beams. This study aims to analyze the comparison of concrete volume calculation results between the conventional method and the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method using Autodesk Revit in terms of cost-effectiveness. The case study was conducted on the Short Span II Pulau Balang Bridge Duplication Project in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan. The research objects include substructures (bore piles, pile caps, abutments, piers, and wing walls) and superstructures in the form of arch beams. The research method employs a quantitative approach by calculating concrete volumes conventionally using AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, as well as calculating with BIM Autodesk Revit through three-dimensional modeling and Quantity Take-Off (QTO) exports. The results indicate that the BIM Autodesk Revit method generates a larger concrete volume compared to the conventional method, resulting in a higher total cost based on the BIM volume. The total cost for the conventional method amounted to IDR 142,613,245,996.12, while the BIM Autodesk Revit method amounted to IDR 143,127,208,186.60. These differences are influenced by the level of calculation detail, the simplification of shapes in the conventional method, and the precision of modeling in Autodesk Revit.

This community service program was conducted at GPIA Sidoasri, Malang Regency, a church community located in a rural area with limited access to capital, technology, and market opportunities. To improve the economic welfare of its members, the church initiated a micro-enterprise producing banana chips and jackfruit chips. However, the business faced several challenges, including unattractive product packaging, a short shelf life due to the absence of preservatives, and difficulties in determining competitive and profitable selling prices. To address these issues, the service team provided training on marketing strategies and business capital management. The training covered product branding through attractive packaging, the use of digital promotion to expand market reach, the separation of personal and business finances, simple financial record-keeping, and responsible capital management practices. The program was implemented through lectures, interactive discussions, and participant mentoring. The results showed that participants gained a better understanding of marketing strategies and basic financial management. Although challenges such as limited capital and low digital literacy remained, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the program. This activity highlights that the success of micro-enterprises depends not only on product quality but also on effective marketing strategies and sound capital management. Furthermore, the program reinforces the importance of careful planning and responsible stewardship in business, as reflected in the wisdom of Proverbs 21:5.

This study aims to map the trajectory of syntactic acquisition in three-year-old children through syntactic patterns and communicative functions in naturalistic interaction. Using a mixed-methods approach, data from native Indonesian-speaking children were collected over a period of 1.5 months through the involve-conversation technique. Analysis of 80 utterances using frequency distribution, Mean Length of Utterance (MLU), and functional grammar revealed a dominant Subject–Verb–Object (S–V–O) structure (30%) and an MLU of 5.82 morphemes. These findings indicate a developmental transition from telegraphic speech to early multi-clause constructions, reflecting increasing linguistic complexity. Cognitive compensation is marked by the use of pragmatic particles and non-canonical sentence patterns driven by ideational, interpersonal, and textual functions. The results support the usage-based hypothesis, suggesting that early syntactic development is functional, sequential, and non-linear in nature. Furthermore, the study highlights the role of interactional experience in shaping emerging grammatical competence. This classification serves as a micro-longitudinal assessment tool and provides a pedagogical basis for scaffolding interventions aimed at stabilizing complex linguistic patterns and enhancing language development in early childhood education settings.

This study designs and implements an up-down counter system based on an AT89C2051 microcontroller programmed in assembly using the MC-51 application. The system modifies an existing digital clock board by mapping the display selector pins, seven-segment segment pins, pushbuttons, and buzzer to the microcontroller ports. The research method consists of literature review, hardware identification, algorithm design, assembly programming, program downloading, and functional testing using a 5 V DC supply. The implementation uses a four-digit common-cathode seven-segment display and a multiplexing routine to show the counter value in real time. The functional test shows that the system can display the initial value, increase the value through the up button, and decrease the value through the down button. The display is readable during operation, and the program can run on the target circuit after being downloaded to the AT89C2051. This study confirms that assembly programming on MC-51 can be applied to implement a simple counter system on a reused digital clock circuit. The main limitations are the absence of explicit button debouncing, overflow and underflow protection, quantitative response-time measurement, and non-volatile data retention.

Sandstone aquifers in tropical sedimentary basins are major groundwater reservoirs, yet their public-health safety is often underestimated when assessment is restricted to physicochemical quality. This review addresses the persistent mismatch between chemically acceptable groundwater and microbiologically unsafe water, especially in shallow, permeable aquifers exposed to intense rainfall, pit latrines, septic systems, dumpsites, agricultural runoff, and weak wellhead protection. A structured narrative synthesis was conducted using peer-reviewed hydrogeological, hydrogeochemical, microbiological, vulnerability, and environmental health studies from Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar. The review focused on tropical sandstone aquifer systems in Africa, Asia, and South America. It examined lithological controls, major-ion evolution, microbial indicators, contamination pathways, WHO-based classification, Water Quality Index applications, contamination indices, multivariate statistics, GIS-based vulnerability mapping, and integrated hydro-microbial risk scoring. The synthesis shows that groundwater chemistry is governed mainly by silicate weathering, carbonate dissolution, cation exchange, shale interbeds, residence time, and anthropogenic inputs. However, chemical compliance does not confirm potable safety. Reported evidence includes TDS below 500 mg/L in chemically acceptable Nigerian basin aquifers, while all 12 shallow wells in Abeokuta tested positive for total coliform and Escherichia coli. Microbial loads increased during wet seasons, with Calabar groundwater recording total coliform increases from 76 to 468 CFU/100 mL and Salmonella/Shigella reaching 1081 CFU/100 mL. DRASTIC mapping further classified 21% of the Dahomey Basin as highly vulnerable. The review therefore proposes an integrated framework linking hydrochemistry, microbial evidence, vulnerability, GIS, and health-risk interpretation for safer, adaptive, and evidence-based groundwater governance.

This study aims to analyze the financial management practices of the Es Degan Bu Ulfa MSME and their compliance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews and observations, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively.   This study aims to analyze the financial management practices of the Es Degan Bu Ulfa MSME and their compliance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews and observations, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results indicate that financial management is still carried out simply and does not yet implement written records. Business income and expenses still rely on memory, even though business owners perform daily profit and loss calculations and separate personal and business finances. The main obstacles faced include limited human resources and a low understanding of financial record keeping and the SAK EMKM. Based on the analysis, financial management practices are not fully compliant with SAK EMKM standards. Therefore, the implementation of simple financial record keeping is necessary to structure business financial information and support business decision-making. Proper financial management can help improve business performance, monitor cash flow, evaluate profitability, and enhance accountability. Furthermore, the application of SAK EMKM is expected to facilitate access to financing and strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive business environment.

This study examines ideological polarization in online news comment sections through a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. In recent years, digital platforms have increasingly become sites of discursive contestation where ideological divisions are intensified rather than mitigated. Using a qualitative interpretive design, this study analyzes approximately 300 user comments on political news articles collected through purposive sampling. The analysis applies van Dijk’s socio-cognitive model, focusing on textual structures, social cognition, and social context. The findings reveal three dominant patterns: (1) the construction of “us versus them” dichotomies through evaluative and exclusionary language, (2) the use of emotional and stigmatizing discourse as a mechanism of ideological legitimation, and (3) the recursive reproduction of polarization through interactive comment chains. Drawing on recent studies in digital communication and polarization, the findings demonstrate that online language operates as a form of symbolic power that reinforces group boundaries and social fragmentation. This study contributes to contemporary digital discourse research by emphasizing the importance of critical digital literacy and micro-level discursive analysis in understanding ideological polarization.

Car Free Night (CFN) activities, which are held periodically in urban public spaces, have become one of the local government's strategies to support emission reduction and empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the economic impact of CFN implementation on MSMEs in the handicraft sector in Sumbawa Regency. The method used is a mixed methods approach through a quantitative survey of 30 craft MSME actors and in-depth qualitative interviews with five key informants from government agencies, business actors, and visitors. The results show that the implementation of CFN has a positive impact on increasing MSME turnover by an average of 30-40% per event, opening up new market access, and strengthening the existence of local culture through regional craft products. However, the challenges faced include limited production capacity, suboptimal digital marketing, and dependence on physical events. Therefore, sustainable policy interventions are needed in the form of business management training, integrated digital promotion, and MSME support facilities in public spaces. This study reinforces previous findings that creative public spaces such as CFN contribute significantly to local economic growth.

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pelanggan pada usaha jasa pengetikan Metronet di Kecamatan Ambulu, Kabupaten Jember, melalui optimalisasi tiga fitur produktivitas Microsoft Office: autocorrect, autoformat, dan template dokumen. Tim pelaksana memakai metode riset tindakan partisipatif dengan menggabungkan metode ini dengan pelatihan dan bimbingan. Pelaksanaan program menunjukkan hasil yang jelas pada semua parameter evaluasi. Kemampuan karyawan meningkat sekitar 93,2%. Waktu penyelesaian dokumen berkurang rata-rata 58%. Tingkat kesalahan juga turun menjadi 1,2%. Kapasitas layanan bertambah 40%, dan adanya pelanggan baru dari kecamatan lain yang dapat dilayani. Ditemukan bahwa perbaikan kecil ini dengan tetap terfokus pada perangkat lunak perkantoran sehari-hari mampu mempertajam kualitas pelayanan usaha mikro dan memperluas jangkauan pasarnya dalam waktu relatif singkat.

 Education in vocational high schools (SMKs) requires effective data management to improve students’ academic achievement and discipline. At SMK Islam Secang, students’ academic scores and attendance data have so far functioned merely as administrative archives, making it difficult to identify patterns of student performance. This study aims to classify students based on academic achievement and discipline by applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm using RapidMiner. The data used in this study consist of scores from six subjects and attendance records of 35 students from the Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) department over two semesters. The data were obtained from original school records, compiled using Microsoft Excel, and processed in RapidMiner. The clustering process employed four clusters for academic achievement and two clusters for discipline, with Euclidean Distance used as the similarity measure. The results show that in the first semester, students were grouped into four academic achievement clusters: high achievement (6 students), moderate achievement (7 students), potentially problematic (14 students), and problematic (8 students). In the second semester, the distribution changed to high achievement (19 students), moderate achievement (14 students), potentially problematic (4 students), and problematic (1 student). Meanwhile, student discipline was divided into two clusters: disciplined (31 students) and undisciplined (4 students). These results demonstrate that K-Means Clustering is effective in mapping student conditions, revealing patterns in academic performance and attendance, and supporting educational evaluation, learning planning, and early detection of students who require academic or disciplinary intervention. This study investigates the performance of Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring systems using a mobile hotspot and IoT sensors for temperature and humidity data transmission. The research is based on the IoT concept, which enables electronic devices to communicate and exchange data through internet networks without direct human intervention. System performance was evaluated using standard Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The experimental setup utilized a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller and a DHT22 sensor, with measurements conducted at various transmission distances through wireless communication media. The objective was to determine the reliability of hotspot connectivity and sensor communication in supporting IoT applications. The results indicate that the optimal performance was achieved at a distance of 20 meters using a 40-lambda variation. Furthermore, the communication signal between the ESP32 device and the mobile hotspot remained detectable up to a maximum distance of 32 meters. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed IoT system for environmental monitoring applications within specific transmission ranges.
