Bahasa Hubula merupakan salah satu bahasa daerah yang digunakan oleh masyarakat di Lembah Baliem, Papua. Seiring perkembangan zaman, penggunaan bahasa ini mengalami penurunan, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda. Minimnya dokumentasi serta belum tersedianya media digital yang mendukung menjadi tantangan dalam pelestarian bahasa tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi kamus bahasa Hubula berbasis mobile sebagai media pembelajaran sekaligus upaya pelestarian bahasa daerah. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Prototype, yang memungkinkan pengembangan dilakukan secara iteratif melalui pembuatan purwarupa, evaluasi, dan perbaikan berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Data kebutuhan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan penutur asli, keluarga, dan masyarakat Kampung Sogasio yang berdomisili di Jayapura, serta melalui studi terhadap sumber kosakata yang tersedia. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi kamus dalam bentuk aplikasi Android dan sistem web admin. Aplikasi Android ditujukan bagi pengguna umum untuk mencari dan mengajukan kosakata, sedangkan sistem web digunakan untuk pengelolaan data oleh admin. Hasil pengujian dengan metode blackbox menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur telah berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan teknologi pelestarian bahasa daerah serta membuka peluang replikasi untuk bahasa-bahasa lokal lainnya di Indonesia yang juga terancam punah.

Quality assurance is a crucial foundation for universities to ensure quality, accountability, and sustainable governance. Digital transformation in higher education quality governance requires an efficient, informative, and easy-to-use system. This study aims to design a prototype dashboard for an Internal Quality Assurance Information System based on user needs using the Design Thinking approach with a case study of the Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Terpadu Nurul Fikri. The research process involves five main stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data was collected through interviews with quality assurance unit personnel and analyzed to formulate visual solutions that address user needs. The dashboard prototype was tested using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method and yielded positive scores across all dimensions, particularly clarity and stimulation. These results indicate that the developed design is capable of providing an effective user experience in supporting the implementation of the internal quality assurance system.

A wedding is an important event in a person's life that requires various careful preparations, one of which is sending invitations to guests. This research aims to create an Android-based wedding invitation booking application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology with a Design Thinking approach. This approach includes five main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, to ensure that the developed application is truly in accordance with the needs and expectations of users. With AR technology, users can view and interact directly with virtual invitations through digital devices such as smartphones, which provides a more engaging, interactive, and modern visual experience than conventional physical invitations. The app's key features include invitation design selection, content customization (name, location, date, and couple's photo), as well as simulated invitation display with three-dimensional effects via AR. The app also allows users to store, share, and place orders directly through an integrated system. The results of the evaluation conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed a score of 75.3. This score indicates that the app has a good usability level and is positively received by the majority of respondents. In addition, this application is considered to be able to increase efficiency in the invitation ordering process and provide a more modern and personal impression to users and invited guests. The conclusion of this study is that AR-based wedding invitation booking apps not only serve as a practical tool, but also become digital innovations that enrich the user experience in modern weddings. This research is expected to make a real contribution to the development of creative information technology and inspire other developers to create similar solutions that are innovative, efficient, and relevant to the needs of the times.

This research aims to design and build a web-based application calledWe Listen We Don’t Judgewhich is able to analyze links entered by users, whether from social media or other websites. The system will automatically assess the content of the link, then provide neutral and constructive suggestions or input to users. The system development uses an approachSystem Development Life Cycle(SDLC) prototyping model to obtain a system that meets user needs. The prototype is tested iteratively to obtain feedback before entering the final implementation stage. The final result of this research is an interactive information system that is able to perform link content analysis and provide suggestions with a simple and user-friendly interface.

Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Jambi adalah lembaga pemerintah yang bertugas melayani masyarakat terkait masalah imigrasi, seperti pengajuan paspor, izin tinggal, dan pengawasan lalu lintas orang antar negara. Saat ini, pencatatan nomor surat keluar masih dicatat secara manual menggunakan buku agenda, yang sering menyebabkan duplikasi nomor surat, kesalahan pencatatan, dan keterlambatan dalam pengambilan data. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dirancang sebuah sistem informasi yang bekerja melalui situs web yang mengelola penomoran surat keluar secara otomatis dan terstruktur. Sistem ini menggunakan metode pengembangan prototipe dan alat pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Hasil dari desain ini adalah sistem informasi yang mampu mengelola penomoran surat keluar secara otomatis, terintegrasi, dan disimpan dalam database yang mudah dan cepat untuk diakses. Fitur utama dari sistem ini mencakup pembuatan format penomoran otomatis sesuai dengan jenis dan klasifikasi surat, penyimpanan arsip digital surat, pencarian data berdasarkan berbagai kriteria, dan manajemen pengguna. Dengan implementasi sistem ini, diharapkan proses administrasi korespondensi di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Jambi menjadi lebih cepat, efisien, dan akurat.

This research applies the Lean UX approach in redesigning the Mitra Mapan Mulia website with the purpose of enhancing user experience. The Lean UX method is used as a responsive and efficient approach to designing solutions that are more user-focused. Data was collect using interview, literature study and observation methods. The research subjects were state-owned companies and MSMEs. The results showed that there was an improvement in user experience, with performance parameters including navigation time, information clarity, and engagement level. Evaluation results from users involved in prototype testing showed a positive response to design changes, and the use of Lean UX methods provided advantages in accelerating the design process and increasing user satisfaction. This research contributes to the practical understanding and effectiveness of Lean UX in the context of website redesign to achieve the goal of improving user experience

This study aims to design a smart home system leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) concept by utilizing the Wemos D1 microcontroller combined with fuzzy logic to improve home energy management and safety. The hardware development process involves integrating a PIR sensor for motion detection, a DHT11 sensor for measuring temperature and humidity, and actuators including relays for lighting and a solenoid lock for doors. The system is operated remotely using the Blynk platform and supports notification alerts through Telegram. Testing results confirm that the prototype is capable of controlling devices, tracking environmental data in real time, and effectively sending alerts when movement is detected. Overall, the system presents a practical, responsive, and user-friendly smart home solution that enhances user convenience and household security.

In line with the development of the digital potential of the creative economy, the demand for quality visual content from photography and videography industry players has also increased. However, access to quality photographers and videographers is still a problem for some people. Likewise, photographers and videographers also experience difficulties in getting clients. Photographers and videographers feel that the use of social media has not been maximized in helping them get clients. In addition to these problems, these photographers and videographers also have difficulty in disseminating the events held. To overcome this problem, researchers developed a digital platform that can accommodate the interests of photography and videography service providers, as well as the community of users of these services. The digital platform developed by researchers is named the “Lensa Buana” marketplace application. The development of the Lensa Buana marketplace application uses the prototype system development method. With this application, it is hoped that photography and videography service providers can reach more consumers, while the community as consumers can easily get photography and videography services according to their needs and desired quality.

Since 2020 the Prakerja program has been running and there are still many numerical achievements that need to be realized to avoid the threat of demographic bonus and in line with the vision of Indonesia emas 2025. PT Generasi Anak Muda Berkarya with HiColleagues brand is a startup moving in the field of Education Technology and IT Service in sustainable digital transformation that is committed to realizing the vision of Indonesia emas 2045 through implementation of the Prakerja program. Learning Management System (LMS) platform according to the Prakerja standard is a mandatory requirement that the training institution must have to become the Prakerja partner. This research aims to produce the Learning Management System (LMS) prototype design according to the Prakerja standard, giving a good experience to participants in completing a series of training class mechanisms, support the participant graduation ratio, and increase brand positioning of HiColleagues as the Prakerja partner. Designing a Learning Management System (LMS) prototype applies the Design Thinking method through the 5 phases, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, & Test. As well as using Figma as a design tool and Maze as a Usability Testing. This Learning Management System (LMS) prototype design succeeded in getting good feedback from users with 100% succession rate although there are minor improvisations on the user interface as a form of alignment.

UMKM or the abbreviation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is a business unit that is currently starting to be widely developed in the community as a major part of the economic program in Indonesia. Currently, the financial recording process on the part of UMKM is still not in accordance with the established standards. The problems faced are the difficulty in recording finances and the lack of knowledge in making financial reports. UMKM transaction data is still recorded manually or by hand, in addition, UMKM often experiences loss of transaction data. In an effort to improve the efficiency and standards of UMKM financial reports, an application is needed that can help UMKM in recording finances and making financial reports. This application aims to facilitate UMKM financial recording. The prototype method is used in designing the application, the use of this method facilitates iteration and initial testing involving input or feedback from users directly. The black box testing method is used to ensure that the functionality of the UMKM accounting application runs well. This study produces an Accounting Application that can facilitate UMKM in recording finances and making reports in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM).

Peran tim IT perusahaan Akang Group tidak hanya sekedar memastikan infrastruktur teknologi berjalan dengan baik, tetapi juga harus siap menangani berbagai permasalahan teknis yang dihadapi pengguna secara cepat. Kendala komputer, jaringan, perangkat pendukung (printer, scanner) dan sistem pendukung operasional sering mengalami kendala. Seperti perangkat komputer atau jaringan yang bermasalah atau penambahan menu dan promo di toko atau restoran terhambat akibat miskomunikasi antar divisi. Saat ini, keluhan dan permintaan masih disampaikan secara manual melalui aplikasi pesan singkat atau secara verbal, yang tidak terstruktur dan berpotensi menyebabkan miskomunikasi. Untuk mempercepat penanganan keluhan dan permintaan serta menjaga kelancaran operasional, diperlukan sistem helpdesk yang dapat digunakan oleh seluruh divisi, bukan hanya tim IT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan prototype, karena memungkinkan proses yang lebih cepat dan umpan balik segera dari pengguna untuk perbaikan sebelum sistem final dirilis. Menggunakan sistem helpdesk ini, keluhan dan permintaan akan ditangani lebih cepat, dan progres pengerjaannya dapat dipantau oleh pengguna maupun manajemen.

The online learning media that has been designed and developed is called Ayo Belajar. Online learning media is a platform used to deliver learning materials to students via the internet. This learning media aims to help students learn more easily, anytime and anywhere, by accessing content in the form of text and videos.The research aims to design engaging and user-friendly learning media for students. Therefore, the UI/UX design is developed using the Design Thinking method. The process consists of five stages: initial product requirement, empathize, define, ideate, and prototype.Based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) testing results, Ayo Belajar received a "Good" category, with a Grade B, as evaluated from respondents' usage.

Some schools currently still use manual methods for assessment in determining the best teachers.  Giving grades to teachers is sometimes still subjective, so the risk of conflict is high due to inaccurate and non-transparent assessments, making it a problem for teachers in teaching. For this reason, an information system is needed to get accurate calculation results to get the best teacher ranking. In answering the problems found, the author developed a decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting method to obtain accurate ranking results so that it can provide maximum decision results through faster, more accurate and precise classification and evaluation. And this research uses a prototype method as an addition to make system development easier. The results of calculations using the SAW method can determine the ranking for the best teachers. Based on a comparison between the pretest and posttest results, it was found that the conformity level was 60% for appropriate data from the 10 data used and 40% for inappropriate data.

VIACOM is a well-accredited computer training institution in Jambi City, but its registration and payment system is still inefficient and not responsive to the needs of course participants. The current system is not well integrated, leading to various issues such as data input errors, schedule mismatches, and delays in data updates, which result in operational disruptions and potential revenue loss. Therefore, it is necessary to design a system that can improve staff performance in handling registration and payments, as well as reduce potential disruptions and delays. In this system design, the prototype method is used to allow iterative development, involving users at each stage so the system can be adjusted to meet existing needs and feedback. This approach provides flexibility to improve and optimize the system based on the feedback obtained, with the expectation of producing a system that is more effective, efficient, and in line with user expectations.

This research aims to design and develop a specialized frying device for chicken using the deep fryer method. The deep frying method was chosen for its ability to produce a crispy texture and even cooking. The design process of this device involves user needs analysis, mechanical design, and prototype testing. The developed frying device is designed to improve efficiency and consistency in the chicken frying process, as well as to minimize oil absorption in the final product. The test results show that this device is capable of producing chicken with optimal texture and taste. The use of this device is expected to be a practical solution for the culinary industry in enhancing the quality and efficiency of the chicken frying process. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis used was descriptive. After the design process, testing of the device was carried out to determine the doneness of the chicken using cooking times of 8 minutes, 14 minutes, and 20 minutes. The research results showed that the design process was carried out through several stages of component design. The test results indicated that frying for 14 minutes was the most optimal for producing perfectly cooked chicken with a crispy exterior, tender interior, and balanced flavor.

Gigs Wear adalah sebuah startup konveksi yang bertujuan menyediakan layanan pembuatan lanyard, ID card, dan kaos custom berkualitas tinggi dengan harga terjangkau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design thinking untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) website Gigswear.co. Dengan fokus pada kebutuhan pengguna, lima tahapan design thinking diterapkan, yakni empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan testing. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS), yang menunjukkan hasil sangat baik dengan tingkat keberhasilan rata-rata 100%. Temuan ini membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan design thinking dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberlanjutan usaha Gigs Wear.

The development of photography technology and the need for digital marketing have encouraged photographers to utilize online media as a promotional tool. This research aims to plan the development of a Content Management System (CMS)-based portfolio website for photography businesses using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The UCD approach ensures that the website design meets the needs of users through iterative stages, including needs analysis, prototype design, and evaluation. The results show that the designed website is able to fulfill the main user needs, such as easy-to-update photo galleries, informative service pages, and responsive contact forms. WordPress CMS was chosen due to its ease of use and design flexibility. With the implementation of UCD, the user satisfaction score increased from 70% to 90%. However, improved security features are recommended to prevent unauthorized access to the photo gallery. This research contributes to the development of efficient digital media to improve the competitiveness of photography businesses in the digital era.

This study aims to design the VoksEat website as a food delivery service platform targeted at students of the IPB Vocational School. The methodology employed is the prototype method, allowing iterative design based on user needs. The research process began with identifying requirements through interviews and observations, followed by creating an initial prototype using design tools such as Figma and testing the prototype to gather user feedback. Object-oriented modeling with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach was utilized to ensure a well-organized system structure, including diagrams such as use case, activity, and class diagrams. The results indicate that the prototype method is effective in producing a functional website design that aligns with user needs. The VoksEat website features ordering guides, restaurant recommendations, and an integrated order form that provides users with easy access. This study contributes to developing a locally-based digital solution to meet student needs and enriches the literature on applying the prototype method in web-based information system development.
