The era of globalization has introduced new dynamics in the practice of citizenship and the protection of human rights (HR), both at national and international levels. The background of this study stems from the increasing flow of migration, the rapid development of information technology, and the interconnectedness of global economic and political systems, all of which challenge the traditional concept of citizenship and mechanisms for protecting HR. The aim of this research is to analyze the relevance of citizenship in the context of globalization and to examine the effectiveness of human rights protection in addressing cross-border issues. The method employed is a literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach, drawing on academic sources, international legal instruments, and national regulations concerning citizenship and HR. The findings indicate that globalization expands the scope of citizen participation, but simultaneously creates new vulnerabilities, such as discrimination against migrants, weak digital protection, and gaps in access to justice. On the other hand, international legal instruments and the role of transnational organizations have shown potential in strengthening protection, although their implementation still faces challenges at the domestic level. In conclusion, citizenship in the globalization era is no longer limited to a legal-formal identity, but also encompasses universal rights that demand states to enhance global collaboration, regulatory harmonization, and policy innovation in human rights protection.

The globalization era presents considerable challenges to the development of Islamic identity among university students. Technological progress, intercultural interaction, and exposure to various ideologies significantly affect students’ values and moral orientations. This study aims to analyze the Aqidah Akhlak paradigm as a framework for reinforcing students’ Islamic identity within the global context. This research applies a qualitative method through library research by examining classical and contemporary Islamic educational literature as well as relevant scholarly works. The findings demonstrate that the Aqidah Akhlak paradigm, which combines solid theological belief (aqidah) with moral character development (akhlak), plays an essential role in cultivating spiritual strength, ethical consciousness, and social responsibility. The reinforcement of Islamic identity is not limited to religious rituals, but also includes the internalization of faith-based values and the consistent application of moral principles in academic and social environments. Therefore, a contextual and integrated approach to Aqidah Akhlak education is necessary to develop intellectually competent and ethically grounded Muslim students in the era of globalization.

Globalization is a term that has to do with the increasing interconnectedness and interdependence between nations and people around the world through trade, investment, travel, popular culture, and other forms of interaction, so that the boundaries of a country become increasingly narrow. The values of Pancasila, especially the values contained in the third principle, namely "Indonesian Unity," are very relevant and important to be actualized in everyday life. The author uses the Literature Study method, which is defined by Nazir (2013) as a systematic process of tracing various literature sources relevant to the research topic to obtain the necessary information and materials. The results showed that the Third Precept of Pancasila has a very strategic role in facing challenges in the era of globalization. By instilling the values of unity, Indonesia can maintain national identity, overcome economic challenges, preserve culture, increase tolerance, and strengthen political positions in the international arena

This study examines the influence of globalization on the YOLO (You Only Live Once) culture and hedonistic behavior among students at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta and offers solutions based on Islamic values. Globalization, fueled by technological and social media developments, has accelerated the spread of consumer culture. This encourages students to prioritize immediate pleasure without considering the long-term impact. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, using interviews and literature analysis. The results show that social pressure, the influence of digital trends, and easy access to a consumer lifestyle play a significant role in the rise of hedonistic behavior among students. This phenomenon indicates a shift in mindset that tends to prioritize instant gratification. From an Islamic perspective, this lifestyle is inconsistent with the principle of wasathiyah, or balance, which emphasizes simplicity, responsibility, and a meaningful life orientation. Therefore, the solutions offered include strengthening character education based on Islamic values, developing a da'wah community close to the realities of students, and providing alternative programs that can channel the energies of the younger generation toward productivity and spirituality.Through this approach, students are expected to be able to act more wisely in facing the strong currents of globalization and adopt a balanced lifestyle, not get caught up in hedonism, and still adhere to Islamic teachings

This community service program aims to increase the digital capacity and leadership of Indonesian Berkebaya Women (PBI) members through an approach that integrates traditional values with modern technology. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), with the subject of service as many as 13 members of the Banyumas branch of PBI. The activity was carried out in the form of an intensive workshop for three days at the Green Valley Hotel Baturraden, which included three main sessions: Digital Transformation Workshop, Leadership Development, and Content Creation Workshop. The results of the program showed significant achievements, where 80% of participants were able to actively master at least three social media platforms. In addition, 15 quality digital content was created that reflects the organization's cultural identity and values. The digital engagement rate increased from 15% to 50%, demonstrating the effectiveness of training strategies and active participation of participants. As an indicator of the program's sustainability, a Digital Task Force was formed and a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was prepared for the management of the organization's digital media. The theoretical findings of this program show that the integration between cultural values and digital capabilities is not contradictory, but rather mutually reinforcing in forming an organizational identity that is adaptive to changing times. This approach has succeeded in creating a culturally based empowerment model that can be replicated in other communities or organizations with similar characteristics. The emphasis on cultural sensitivity in the design of community service programs is the key to success, especially in the context of inclusive and sustainable digital transformation. This program makes a real contribution to strengthening women's capacity based on cultural communities, as well as opening up space for the development of relevant empowerment strategies in the digital era. Thus, this model can be a reference in designing social interventions that respect local wisdom while encouraging digital innovation.

This research employs a qualitative library research method to examine the crucial role of investment in the renewable energy sector in sustaining national economic development in the globalization era. In the current global context, the transition toward environmentally friendly energy sources is not only a necessity but also a strategic priority for many countries, including Indonesia. Conventional reliance on fossil fuels, which are increasingly limited and harmful to the environment, has pushed policymakers and stakeholders to seek sustainable alternatives. Renewable energy sources—such as solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy—are widely recognized as long-term solutions to reduce environmental degradation and carbon emissions. Investment in the renewable energy sector does not merely contribute to environmental preservation but also carries significant socioeconomic benefits. It has the potential to generate new employment opportunities, encourage technological innovation, and strengthen national energy security. These impacts create a multiplier effect on the economy, thereby supporting inclusive growth and sustainable development. Furthermore, renewable energy investment can enhance national competitiveness and resilience in facing global energy transitions, as well as align with international commitments to climate change mitigation. This study, through a comprehensive review of scholarly journals, reports, and other credible sources, finds that the renewable energy sector is instrumental in realizing a sustainable and globally adaptive economic structure. Nevertheless, the success of this transition depends heavily on government efforts to optimize policies and regulatory frameworks that are supportive, transparent, and attractive to both domestic and international investors. Therefore, it is imperative for the government to strengthen investment incentives, streamline bureaucratic procedures, and promote public-private partnerships. The findings highlight that renewable energy investment is not only an environmental necessity but also a key driver of long-term national economic sustainability.

Globalization has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the realm of religion, particularly in the field of hadith interpretation. For centuries, hadith interpretation was based on historical context, established scientific methods, and the authority of scholars as the primary reference. However, the rapid and geographically boundless connection of Muslims worldwide has brought new and complex challenges. These changes have not only affected the way scholars and historians understand classical texts but have also expanded the space for discussion into the public sphere through digital technology. This research aims to examine in depth how globalization influences the process of hadith interpretation in the contemporary era. The focus of the study includes changes in methodological approaches to interpretation, shifts in understanding of classical texts, and the influence of cross-cultural interactions and the development of digital media on shaping more pluralistic religious perspectives. The rapid flow of information enables the exchange of views across countries, schools of thought, and cultures, creating opportunities for enriching insight, but also potentially giving rise to interpretations that deviate from traditional principles. The results of this research are expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the positive and negative impacts of globalization on hadith interpretation. On the positive side, globalization can facilitate access to literature, encourage interfaith dialogue, and revitalize the Islamic intellectual tradition on a global scale. However, on the negative side, globalization also risks the desires of scholarly authorities, giving rise to instant interpretations without a strong methodology, and increasing the potential for conflicting understandings. These findings are expected to be relevant for understanding contemporary social, cultural, and political dynamics, as well as contributing to efforts to construct contextual interpretations of hadith while remaining anchored in solid scientific principles.

This study explores the strategic role of Pancasila as a living ideology in addressing the rising challenges of radicalism and intolerance in the era of digital globalization. The increasing spread of radical ideologies through social media, along with the growing exclusivist attitudes within Indonesia’s multicultural society, demands an adaptive and applicable ideological approach. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using literature review techniques. The findings indicate that collaboration among state institutions, civil society organizations, and educational institutions is crucial in grounding the values of Pancasila within public and digital spaces. Deradicalization strategies that emphasize ideological education, media literacy, and humanistic approaches have proven more effective in fostering tolerance and preventing the spread of extremist ideologies. This study affirms that Pancasila must continuously be revitalized through cross-sectoral, concrete actions to remain relevant and influential in preserving national unity.

This study aims to explore how the transformation of civic consciousness in the digital era plays a role in shaping a more tolerant society, especially in responding to the issue of racism that is developing on social media. Using a qualitative approach through a case study method, this study analyzes various forms of digital citizen participation in dealing with discriminatory content. Data collection techniques were carried out through social media content analysis, literature review, and thematic interpretation based on two main theories, namely Digital Citizenship (Ribble, 2011) and Critical Consciousness (Freire, 1970). The results of the study found five main things: (1) the emergence of educational and emancipatory counter-narratives; (2) the transformation of individual expression into a collective movement through digital activism; (3) the important role of digital figures and alternative media in shaping tolerant public opinion; (4) the diversity of public responses, from progressive to regressive; and (5) structural challenges in the form of opinion polarization, the spread of disinformation, and the echo chamber effect. This study concludes that although social media is a complex and challenging space, it still has great potential as a vehicle for civic education and a tool for social transformation towards a society that values diversity and upholds the values of justice.

The entry of foreign cultures into Indonesia is one of the impacts of the increasingly widespread globalization. These new cultures underwent a process of acculturation and, over time, began to dominate local cultures. If the original culture is not well preserved, there is a risk that it will be eroded and replaced by new influences that are present. In an effort to preserve Indonesia's cultural richness, the younger generation has a very important role in filtering and choosing what is useful and what is not. However, the presence of foreign cultures often makes people, especially the millennial generation, prioritize personal freedom over moral values. This results in many of them forgetting norms and traditions in order to satisfy individual desires. This research aims to research and explain the actions and responses of the younger generation to foreign cultures, as well as the impact caused by globalization due to the entry of new cultures, both positive and negative. The results of the discussion show that the influence of foreign culture has made many millennial generations begin to forget the original Indonesian culture and ignore the norms in society. Even so, there are still some generations who are trying hard to maintain these cultural values in their daily lives. This research is expected to provide benefits to the community and the millennial young generation, so that they are more aware of the importance of preserving and preserving Indonesia's indigenous culture.

Economic globalization is a process that significantly impacts the structure and values within Islamic political economy. Market integration, trade liberalization, and cross-border capital flows have created an increasingly competitive and capitalistic global economic order. On one hand, globalization provides opportunities for developing countries, including Indonesia, to access new technologies, expand export markets, and increase foreign investment. However, on the other hand, globalization also poses serious challenges for Islamic political economy, particularly due to the dominance of capitalist principles that contradict the fundamental values of Islamic economics, such as justice ('adl), balance (tawazun), and the prohibition of riba and gharar. Additionally, internal challenges such as low community literacy, a lack of innovation in Sharia-compliant financial products, and insufficient policy support further hinder the development of the Islamic economy. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies to analyze the impact of globalization on Islamic political economy. The findings indicate that adaptive strategies, innovation enhancement, regulatory strengthening, and the improvement of literacy and research are necessary for Islamic political economy to play a strategic role in addressing the challenges of globalization. Thus, it is hoped that Islamic political economy can contribute to the realization of a more just and sustainable global economic order.

This study explores how Generation Z maintains the use of the Indonesian language amid the challenges of globalization. In a modern era heavily influenced by foreign cultures and rapid digital development, a shift in language usage patterns among youth is becoming increasingly apparent. Foreign languages, particularly English, are frequently adopted in daily communication, which may threaten the role of the Indonesian language as a marker of national identity. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence Generation Z’s language attitudes and practices, and to examine how they perceive Indonesian as part of their identity. Using a qualitative approach through interviews and observations, the findings reveal that although there is a tendency toward mixed language usage, there remains a level of awareness among Generation Z about the importance of preserving the Indonesian language. However, globalization and the dominance of foreign media content are significant influences shaping their linguistic habits. Therefore, strategic and youth-oriented efforts are needed to ensure that the Indonesian language remains relevant and valued in the future.

This study examines the challenges and problems faced by Islamic education amid the complex dynamics of globalization. While globalization brings positive impacts through advances in information and communication technology, it also poses challenges such as the infiltration of global cultural values that do not always align with Islamic principles. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method, drawing from scholarly sources in national journals and recent academic books. The findings reveal that Islamic education encounters internal challenges such as conventional teaching methods, curricula that are unresponsive to changing times, and low digital literacy among educators. Meanwhile, external challenges include the secularization of education, unequal access, technological revolutions, and multicultural issues. To address these challenges, it is necessary to reformulate an integrative curriculum, improve teacher professionalism, and create educational environments that support Islamic values. This article recommends a transformative and adaptive approach to Islamic education that remains firmly rooted in the values of tawhid and akhlaq al-karimah in facing global challenges.
