Religious institutions such as mosques are part of non-profit public sector entities that manage public funds and therefore require accountable and transparent financial reporting standards. ISAK 335 is the applicable standard governing the presentation of financial statements for non-profit-oriented entities in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the conformity of financial management practices in three mosques in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, namely Baiturrahman Mosque Sungayang, Nurul Huda Mosque Simpuruik, and Al-Amin Mosque Dobok Batusangkar, with the provisions of ISAK 335. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection conducted through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the three mosques have not implemented ISAK 335 in the preparation of their financial statements. Financial management practices are still limited to recording cash receipts and cash disbursements without the classification of net assets, statements of financial position, statements of activities, or notes to financial statements standardized in accordance with ISAK 335. The main inhibiting factors include limited human resources in the field of accounting, lack of standard dissemination, and minimal regulatory pressure. This study recommends the need for continuous training, technical assistance, and stronger regulations for mosque financial managers so that mosque financial statements can be prepared and presented in accordance with the applicable standards for non-profit organizations, namely ISAK 335.

Low financial literacy and managerial capability remain common issues faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary sector, which consequently affects financial efficiency and business sustainability. Many business owners still maintain simple and unstructured financial records and often mix personal and business finances, leading to difficulties in determining profit and making appropriate business decisions. This community service activity aims to improve financial efficiency through operational management assistance for the MSME Warung Pecel Bu Nor located in Gading Fajar, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves business owners in every stage of the activity, including problem identification, action planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, discussions, and joint reflection. The results indicate an improvement in the business owner’s understanding and skills in simple financial recording, separation of personal and business finances, and operational cost control. In addition, there is an improvement in the organization of business management and managerial awareness. This assistance contributes to increased financial efficiency, business stability, and the potential improvement of the economic welfare of business owners. Overall, this assistance has proven effective in supporting the sustainability of MSMEs; therefore, continuous assistance is needed so that business owners can consistently implement more professional business management practices.

Transparency in human resource management has become a strategic issue in modern organizations, particularly through the implementation of salary transparency as part of the broader concept of radical transparency. This study aims to analyze the psychological and managerial impacts of salary information disclosure and its implications for human resource leadership within organizations. The research employs a qualitative approach using a narrative literature review by examining relevant scholarly articles published within the last five years. The findings indicate that salary transparency contributes positively to enhancing employees’ perceptions of fairness and trust; however, it may also generate negative consequences such as social comparison, interpersonal conflict, and decreased job satisfaction if not properly managed. From a managerial perspective, salary transparency promotes greater accountability, strengthens performance evaluation systems, and encourages more open and participative leadership practices. This study contributes by integrating psychological and managerial dimensions into a comprehensive conceptual framework and highlights the importance of organizational readiness in strategically managing transparency policies to achieve effectiveness and sustainability.

This study aims to analyze the application of good governance principles in the management of ECE grants by regional governments, focusing on aspects of transparency, accountability, public participation, and legal certainty. The study employs a qualitative approach using Qualitative Secondary Analysis (QSA), analyzing various secondary data sources such as policy documents, government reports, previous research findings, and relevant academic literature on education grant management. Data analysis was conducted systematically through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of transparency in ECE grant management is reflected in the openness of information regarding grant application procedures, recipient selection mechanisms, and fund usage reporting. Accountability is realized through administrative and financial accountability mechanisms that must be fulfilled by both regional governments and ECE institutions receiving the grants. Public participation is evident from the involvement of communities, ECE institution managers, and parents in the planning, implementation, and supervision of the grant program. Meanwhile, legal certainty in grant management is demonstrated by the existence of regulations that clearly govern grant provision mechanisms, fund disbursement procedures, and obligations for reporting and accountability in fund utilization. The study concludes that the application of good governance principles in the management of ECE grants by regional governments plays a crucial role in enhancing transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in educational fund management. Furthermore, community involvement and regulatory certainty serve as key supporting factors in achieving better governance of education grants.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMNeg) in Makariki possess regional economic potential. However, business managers face cash flow recording obstacles. They have not implemented standard bookkeeping. This community service aims to provide training and mentoring in financial document preparation using the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities framework. The implementation method consists of preparation, execution, and evaluation stages. The execution stage includes initial testing, material presentation, interactive discussion, and final testing. Evaluation results indicate this program resolves participants' financial literacy problems. Participants' understanding regarding bookkeeping accounts and calculating profit and loss increased. Participants can compile drafts of income statements, financial positions, and supporting notes independently. In conclusion, intensive mentoring changes participants' mindsets from conventional management to a more structured one. Systematic bookkeeping helps participants separate personal and business assets. These records also serve as administrative requirements to access additional capital from banks or government assistance programs. This program supports the transparency and accountability of village fund management through BUMNeg.

Non-profit organization financial reports are a form of accountability to stakeholders, especially donors and the community. This research aims to analyze the suitability of applying ISAK 335 in preparing financial reports at the Humanitarian Foundation. The research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach through documentation and document analysis. The research results show that the implementation of ISAK 335 can increase the transparency and accountability of financial reports, although there are still obstacles such as limited understanding of accounting standards and a simple recording system. Financial reports in accordance with ISAK 335 are expected to provide a clearer picture of the financial position and activities of nonprofit organizations. Among the challenges identified is the lack of human resources trained in the application of this accounting standard. Therefore, training and coaching for organizational financial managers is essential. Furthermore, the development of a more modern and integrated financial recording system is also needed to support greater transparency and accountability.

This research aims to explore the satisfaction–revenue nexus by examining the effect of tourist satisfaction on Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) performance in three-star hotels across Southeast Asia. Grounded in Expectation–Confirmation Theory and the Service-Profit Chain framework, the study conceptualizes tourist satisfaction as a strategic intangible asset that contributes to financial performance through both direct and indirect mechanisms. A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design was employed. Quantitative panel data were collected from 312 three-star hotels in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines over the period 2019–2024 and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and panel regression techniques. The results indicate that tourist satisfaction has a positive and statistically significant direct effect on RevPAR. Furthermore, occupancy rate partially mediates this relationship, suggesting that satisfaction enhances revenue performance primarily through demand stabilization and increased room utilization. Qualitative findings from managerial interviews further confirm that guest satisfaction strengthens online reputation, repeat visitation, and revenue consistency. This study contributes empirical evidence to the literature on satisfaction-driven financial performance in mid-scale hospitality markets and offers strategic implications for revenue optimization in competitive Asian contexts.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of cash flow management at PT AA in managing the company’s financial transactions and to analyze the impact of using multiple project bank accounts on the process of preparing financial statements. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with the General Manager of Finance and Accounting, and documentation in the form of cash in and cash out transaction records, a list of bank accounts, and bank statements. The results show that PT AA has implemented cash flow management through recording cash inflow (cash in) and cash outflow (cash out), which serve as the basis for preparing the company’s financial statements. However, the large number of bank accounts used for each project creates challenges in monitoring transactions, leads to frequent fund transfers between accounts, and increases the complexity of the cash and bank reconciliation process. This condition can affect the efficiency of the company’s cash flow management and cause delays in the presentation of financial statements. Therefore, the company plans to implement a Bank Operational Account (Bank OP) system as a centralized transaction account to improve the efficiency of cash flow management, facilitate transaction monitoring, and accelerate the reconciliation process and the preparation of the company’s financial statements.

This study examines the strategic role of financial management in empowering the community of Somongari Tourism Village, Purworejo Regency, which serves as a model of Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Despite its rich natural and cultural assets, the village faces challenges in sustaining tourism growth due to fluctuating visitor numbers, limited services differentiation, and uneven income distribution. The research aims to evaluate how transparent and participatory financial practices can strengthen community capacity, enhance homestay development, and ensure long-term sustainability. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with tourism managers and homestay operators, direct observation of community practices, and analysis of financial records and visitor data from 2023 to 2025. Findings reveal that inclusive organizational structures, collective price agreements, and youth-led digitalization initiatives foster social cohesion, accountability, and innovation, while service homogeneity and seasonal visitor fluctuations remain critical constraints. The synthesis highlights financial management not merely as a technical tool but as a catalyst for empowerment, enabling equitable income distribution, entrepreneurial growth, and resilience against market volatility. The study concludes that professional financial recording systems, continuous capacity-building, and collaboration among communities, government, and private stakeholders are essential to advance sustainable tourism development. Ultimately, financial management emerges as both a governance mechanism and a strategic pathway for balancing economic growth, cultural preservation, and community empowerment in Somongari Tourism Village.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are highly vulnerable to a wide range of business risks that may threaten their operational continuity and long-term sustainability. These risks include financial instability, market fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and limited managerial capacity. This study aims to describe the implementation of risk management practices in MSMEs by examining the processes of risk identification, analysis, evaluation, and control in accordance with the specific characteristics and limitations of MSME operations. The research applies a qualitative method using a document study approach to explore and analyze the phenomenon of risk management within MSMEs. The data utilized consist of secondary sources, including scholarly journal articles, previous empirical research findings, official publications from relevant institutions, government reports, and other publicly accessible documents related to MSME development. The findings reveal that although MSME actors generally recognize the existence of various business risks, the practical implementation of structured and systematic risk management remains suboptimal. Many MSMEs still apply informal, reactive, and experience-based strategies rather than comprehensive risk management frameworks, indicating the need for improved awareness, training, and institutional support.

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Online Travel Agent (OTA) distribution channels in influencing room sales volume and net profit for hotels in Java. Although OTAs have become a primary distribution choice that successfully boosts sales figures, there is still a lack of research highlighting the impact on net profitability due to high commission costs.Using a quantitative associative method through panel data regression analysis, this study examines the causal relationship between the proportion of sales made via OTAs and two performance indicators over a two-year period (2021–2023). The primary findings reveal a dual effect:OTA Distribution Channels have a positive and significant influence on Room Sales Volume (supporting Hypothesis H1).Conversely, OTAs have a significant negative impact on Hotel Profit Margins (supporting Hypothesis H2), indicating a substantial financial trade-off.The contribution of this research is to provide balanced empirical evidence regarding volume gains versus margin losses resulting from OTA usage. The managerial implications suggested by these findings are that hotels need to implement distribution strategies focused on Net Revenue Management and channel mix optimization to achieve a balance between volume requirements and profitability.

This study aims to examine the influence of internal control systems and the quality of accounting information systems on the accuracy of production cost calculations at PT. Tunggal Mitra Plantation – PKS Manggala. Accurate production cost calculation is essential for improving operational efficiency, supporting managerial decision-making, and ensuring reliable financial reporting. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of employees involved in accounting, finance, and production activities, with 31 respondents selected through the total sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The findings indicate that the internal control system has a significant positive effect on the accuracy of production cost calculations. Likewise, the quality of the accounting information system significantly enhances the accuracy of cost determination. Simultaneously, both variables demonstrate a significant influence on production cost accuracy, indicating that effective internal controls supported by reliable accounting information systems contribute to more precise and consistent cost calculations. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.810 shows that 81% of the variation in production cost accuracy is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 19% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening internal control mechanisms and improving accounting information system integration to enhance operational performance, cost management, and strategic decision-making.
