Drug abuse and risky social behavior remain significant social issues among adolescents, particularly in rural areas experiencing rapid information exposure and lifestyle changes. This community service program aimed to enhance adolescents’ awareness and resilience toward the dangers of drug abuse (NAPZA) while promoting a healthy lifestyle through the cultivation of family medicinal plants (TOGA) in Karangmalang Village, Ngawi Regency. The program employed a participatory descriptive approach, actively involving adolescents as the primary beneficiaries. The implementation consisted of two main stages: interactive socialization on drug abuse and risky behavior, and a workshop on cultivating medicinal plants as a form of community-based healthy living practice. The results indicated that the socialization activities improved adolescents’ understanding and awareness of drug abuse risks, as reflected in their active participation during discussions. Furthermore, the TOGA cultivation workshop provided practical benefits by introducing simple herbal remedies and offering positive, sustainable activities for the community. Overall, the integration of educational and practical approaches proved effective as a preventive and empowerment strategy to strengthen adolescent resilience and foster a healthier and more productive village environment.

This study aims to construct a comprehensive concept of Quranic Andragogy based on the profound educational interaction between Prophet Musa a.s. and Prophet Khidir a.s. as narrated in Surah Al-Kahfi. Employing systematic library research with a thematic exegesis approach and rigorous content analysis, this research synthesizes Malcolm Knowles’ andragogy theory with core Islamic values and principles. The findings reveal that Quranic Andragogy transcends conventional Western pragmatism by effectively integrating intellectual autonomy with deep spiritual humility (tawadhu). The narrative illustrates three fundamental pillars of this pedagogical model: the urgency of cultivating internal motivation (the need to know), which is driven by a conscious willingness to 'unlearn' ego and preconceptions; the careful management of cognitive conflict within experiential learning processes; and the consistent implementation of a disciplined, ethically guided learning contract. It is concluded that adult education in Islam requires a careful balance between critical reasoning, reflective practice, and spiritual obedience in order to achieve holistic self-transformation that extends beyond the mere transfer of knowledge and information, fostering both intellectual and moral development in learners.

This study aims to analyze the role of UINSU’s Community Service Program (KKN) students in enhancing Islamic entrepreneurial awareness among the residents of Pahang Village, Talawi District, Batu Bara Regency. The KKN program serves as a platform for applying academic knowledge while empowering communities through educational, persuasive, and participatory approaches. The students introduced fundamental concepts of Islamic entrepreneurship, including principles of justice, honesty, sustainability, and the avoidance of riba, gharar, and maisir. Through a series of activities such as seminars, micro-business training sessions, financial management mentoring based on sharia principles, and simple business model simulations, the villagers began to show improved understanding of Islamic economic values. Moreover, the active involvement of students created an inclusive learning environment that was accessible to various community groups. The findings indicate that the presence of KKN students contributed positively to cultivating entrepreneurial motivation, particularly among youth and micro-business actors. This improvement was reflected in changes in mindset, interest in initiating halal businesses, and increased awareness of applying sharia principles in daily economic activities. Thus, the KKN program not only provides practical experience for students but also offers a tangible contribution to strengthening sharia-based economic empowerment at the village level.

Islamic entrepreneurship education integrates ethical, moral, and spiritual values with practical business practices. This study examines the perspective of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadith on entrepreneurship, emphasizing principles such as honesty, independence, creativity, risk-taking, and social responsibility. Using a qualitative approach, primary hadith sources and scholarly interpretations are analyzed to identify both values and practical implementations of entrepreneurship education in Islam. Findings reveal that the Prophet emphasized self-reliance, productive work, and ethical business conduct, providing practical guidance such as utilizing available resources, step-by-step mentoring, and progressive skill development. Additionally, Islamic entrepreneurship education prioritizes character formation, integrity, and social contribution alongside economic gain. Practical examples from hadith illustrate methods for instilling entrepreneurial values, including prohibitions against unethical transactions, encouragement to work with one’s own hands, and support for independent income generation. The study shows that integrating moral guidance from hadith with business training produces competent, responsible, and ethically grounded entrepreneurs. This framework offers a comprehensive model for modern entrepreneurship education, balancing profitability, ethical conduct, and societal welfare. The research contributes to understanding how Islamic values can form the foundation of sustainable and morally conscious business practices, providing educators and practitioners with actionable insights for cultivating entrepreneurship aligned with Islamic teachings.

This paper discusses the role of education in shaping students' ability to recognize and appreciate religious diversity within Indonesia's pluralistic society. Indonesia, as a pluralistic nation, boasts a diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religions, which demands the instilling of tolerance from an early age, particularly through educational institutions. Students are understood as individuals developing intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually, requiring systematic guidance to understand differences as a gift from God. Recognizing and appreciating religious diversity is not merely about passive tolerance but also encompasses the ability to respect others' beliefs, engage in dialogue, and coexist peacefully without losing one's faith identity. Through education, particularly Christian Religious Education and Pancasila Education, values of tolerance can be instilled through curriculum integration, teacher role models, an inclusive school environment, and practices such as opportunities to worship according to one's religion, interfaith cooperation, and social activities. Teachers play a strategic role as facilitators and role models in fostering empathy and appreciation for differences. Various strategies such as integrating multicultural values, providing worship spaces, strengthening cooperation, and cultivating mutual respect have proven effective in developing tolerant character in students. Research results indicate that education that emphasizes the value of tolerance aligns with the spirit of Pancasila and the teachings of Christ's love in the Bible. Therefore, developing students who value religious diversity is a long-term investment in creating a peaceful, just, and civilized society. Education that prioritizes inclusivity provides a crucial foundation for a generation capable of becoming agents of peace amidst the nation's diversity.

This study explains the role of educator leaders in cultivating students' adab (moral discipline and etiquette) at two Cambodian Islamic boarding schools, Maahad Tahfiz Darul Ulum (MTDU) and Maahad Tahfiz Darul Hadith (MTDH), in a post-conflict Muslim-minority society. Drawing on classical Islamic theories of character formation, such as the works of Ibnu Miskawaih and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, and underpinned by Hallinger's Instructional Leadership Model, this research explores the manner in which leaders act as moral role models and institutionalists in order to transform pupil behavior. In undertaking a qualitative multiple-case study, data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation of eight influential educational leaders. Thematic analysis yielded six prominent leadership roles, including moral modeling, disciplinary enforcement, spiritual mentorship, and institutional innovation through routines and rituals. Despite parental and external cultural pressure oppositional to their endeavor, the leaders demonstrated spiritual resilience in successfully ushering student transformation through relational engagement, moral accountability, and cultural reinforcement. This study contributes to the emerging debate on faith-based leadership and character education with the offer of a contextualized model of Islamic educational leadership for post-conflict and minority-Muslim settings. Practice and policy recommendations include training educational leaders as muaddibin, integrating value-based norms, and recognizing Tahfiz schools as important actors in integral education.

These aspects are crucial in fostering an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to perform at their best. The positive effects of this leadership style are evident in improved work quality, increased accuracy in task completion, and a stronger sense of responsibility among employees. Ultimately, this study confirms that a leader who is adaptive, communicative, and inspiring is essential in building superior, consistent, and sustainable performance within an evolving organizational structure. The findings underscore the critical role of leadership in cultivating motivation and driving long-term productivity in organizations.

The persistent issue of high youth unemployment among Senior High School (SHS) graduates necessitates cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset through formal education, making Entrepreneurship Education (EE) a national strategic imperative. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) critically analyzed 15 empirical articles, selected via the strict PRISMA protocol, to evaluate the effectiveness of diverse EE curriculum models in enhancing students' Entrepreneurial Interest (Intention) and Attitude. The key finding is that EE implementation is substantially effective only when executed through active, experience-based pedagogical models such as Experiential Learning, Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and the Teaching Factory which are superior in fostering practical competency and significantly boosting Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy and positive Attitude, consistent with the Theory of Planned Behavior. Successful implementation also critically depends on robust operational factors, including structured curriculum management (e.g., PDCA cycle) and the availability of competent teachers. In conclusion, the findings provide a strong evidence-based framework, recommending that policymakers prioritize experiential models and integrate modern elements like Digital Literacy and Non-cognitive Skills to produce SHS graduates with genuine entrepreneurial readiness.

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of interfaith relations in Indonesia by integrating Social Identity Theory (SIT), Social Identity Complexity (SIC), and Pope Francis’ vision of synodality. The focus is directed toward understanding how social identity categories, overlapping identity structures, and the synodal vision of communion, participation, and mission enrich the paradigm of religious moderation in a plural society. This research employs a qualitative library research design using descriptive-analytical and content analysis techniques on identity theories, empirical findings on interfaith tolerance, and relevant Catholic Church documents. The analysis includes an exploration of the core concepts of SIT and SIC, a review of interfaith tolerance practices in Indonesian communities, and an examination of the pastoral significance of synodality as a dialogical approach. The findings indicate that religious moderation can flourish when religious communities have natural spaces of encounter, develop flexible identity intersections, and engage actively in mutual listening as emphasized in the Synod 2021–2024. In this context, synodality provides a theological and pastoral framework for cultivating inclusive, creative, and transformative interfaith relations, allowing each religious tradition to express its uniqueness while fostering fraternal harmony.

Crystal guava has a promising market potential due to its relatively high demand, especially in various supermarkets—both in small towns and major cities across Indonesia—and its selling price is relatively stable. Crystal guava has several advantages compared to other guava varieties, including a fresher and sweeter taste, a crunchy texture, thick flesh, and being almost seedless. It is relatively easy to cultivate, has a high harvesting frequency, and tends to bear fruit throughout the year regardless of the season. Therefore, farmers in Karanggondo Village, Tegalsari District, Banyuwangi Regency, have begun cultivating it as a monoculture crop since 2012. Considering this situation, it is deemed interesting to conduct research on the financial feasibility of a Crystal guava plantation investment project under a monoculture system per hectare in Banyuwangi Regency. The research results show that the investment project is financially “feasible.” However, if production volume and product price decrease by up to 48.96%, and variable operating costs increase by up to 79.02%, while other factors remain constant, the Crystal guava monoculture plantation investment project per hectare in Banyuwangi Regency becomes financially “unfeasible.” Among these factors, the decline in production volume and selling price are found to be relatively “more sensitive” in influencing the project’s financial feasibility.
