In the health sector, the government plans to reduce stunting rates by 40% in 2025. This goal has been stated in the Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCA) program. In practice, mothers make mistakes in feeding their children influencing the nutritional status of the children resulting in an inability to fulfill the child’s nutrition needs. This condition occurred due to a lack of knowledge and information during the IYCF period. This study aims to provide knowledge to mothers about the importance of complementary feeding made from local food ingredients. This case study analyzed the growth development and nutritional status of an 11-month-old baby. Subjective examination showed that the mother felt that her baby's nutritional status was lacking so she came to the clinic to have her baby checked. Objective examinations of the baby's weight and height were performed. The mother received local food-based nutritional counseling. Midwives provided education about the importance of complementary feeding made from local food ingredients and provided support to mothers to continue breastfeeding their babies. The midwives also provided cooking recipes and nutritional content of food made from local food ingredients to the mother so she could independently practice it.

This research explains the practice of fasting in the context of Islamic law, identifying the views of Islamic scholars and literature regarding fasting. The aim of this research is to provide comprehensive insight into the practice of fasting and its relevance in Islamic teachings. The research method used is a qualitative approach by analyzing related texts and literature, such as the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, views of ulama, and previous research. The research results show that mutih fasting is a tradition that is still maintained by some Javanese people, especially before weddings. Even though it has no direct basis in Islamic law, mutih fasting is carried out with the aim of gaining inner peace and physical and spiritual readiness before marriage. The procedure for white fasting involves consuming only white foods and drinks, such as white rice and water, as well as increasing worship such as prayer, dhikr and supplication. However, the analytical views of Islamic scholars and law show that fasting is not recommended in Islamic teachings and is not included in the worship exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Although it is permissible if the intention is solely for Allah SWT, mutih fasting is more cultural than religious. The recommendation for Muslims is to carry out this tradition carefully and ensure that their intentions are truly for Allah SWT. In conclusion, fasting mutih before a wedding is a tradition that is more embedded in Javanese culture than Islamic religion. Although it is not prohibited, this practice should be carried out with clear intentions and does not conflict with Islamic teachings. Further research is needed to bring closer understanding between local culture and pure Islamic teachings.

Mangroves are plants that live in coastal areas which have great benefits, namely as abrasion barriers, wave breakers, as a food source for marine biota, absorbing carbon dioxide, and producing oxygen. Sicanang Mangrove Ecotourism is a mangrove forest that is open to the public to visit this ecotourism. The location is in Belawan Sicanang Village, Medan Belawan District, Medan City. Data collection techniques were used to obtain primary data and secondary data through observation, interviews and literature study. Research data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that since 2020, this ecotourism has been closed and is not being maintained to this day. The cause of the damage to ecotourism is due to the local community's lack of understanding about developing mangrove ecotourism in the area, such as cutting down mangrove trees for wood as furniture material. This causes damage to the mangrove ecosystem and the quantity of mangrove trees decreases. It was concluded that the damage was caused by a lack of attention to repairs from the government and management awareness from the local community.
