This study aims to improve the effectiveness of facility arrangement at Pabrik Oncom Bu Nana by analyzing interactions among production activities and designing spatial layouts based on their priority levels. The current layout presents several critical issues, particularly because the equipment sanitation area is combined with the toilet, creating a significant risk of contamination and reducing hygiene during production. In addition, irregular material flow and excessive worker movement lead to inefficient work processes and may affect the quality of the final product. To address these issues, this study employs the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) to evaluate the functional closeness among production areas, as well as the Total Closeness Rating (TCR) to determine facility placement priorities based on the intensity of inter-stage relationships. The results of the ARC analysis indicate that the fermentation room has the strongest link to the main stages of oncom production, requiring its placement to be closer to the preparation and molding areas. Findings from the TCR further emphasize that fermentation should become the primary focus in the layout redesign. Based on both methods, a more organized layout design is proposed by relocating the fermentation room to the beginning of the production flow, separating the toilet and sanitation room into two distinct areas, and restructuring the storage, molding, and drying spaces. This redesigned layout is expected to enhance cleanliness, improve material flow, and strengthen the operational effectiveness of Pabrik Oncom Bu Nana.

This study analyzes how strategi politik identitas is systematically used by K.H. Rifa’i, S.H. in winning the 2024 Provincial DPRD Election of Jambi in the Bungo–Tebo Electoral District. The main issue of this research stems from the strong influence of identitas keagamaan in the political behavior of Jambi’s majority Muslim society, making religious figures occupy a strategic position in electoral contests. This study aims to explain the process of mobilizing identitas keagamaan, utilizing social networks based on pesantren, and constructing a religious image as political capital that contributes to electoral victory. The analysis integrates the concepts of politik identitas and voter behavior as a foundation to understand how collective identity and psychological perceptions of society work in determining political preferences. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, using interviews, observation, and document analysis as the main data collection techniques. The results show that identitas keagamaan, jaringan pesantren, relationships with local religious groups, and the use of religious symbols become determining factors that shape emotional closeness and political trust among the community. This strategy enabled K.H. Rifa’i to obtain the highest votes and outperform the incumbent candidate. The contribution of this research lies in a comprehensive mapping of how politik identitas operates within a local religious political context, and how this strategy can alter electoral configurations and political support patterns at the regional level.

The effectiveness of a retail store layout plays a crucial role in supporting operational efficiency, service flow, and customer experience. Brother Parfume, a perfume refill retail store, currently applies a bar-service layout designed based on intuition and daily operational needs rather than systematic planning. This often results in inefficient movement patterns, limited space utilization, and suboptimal coordination among functional areas. This study aims to redesign the store layout by applying the Entity Relationship Chart (ERC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) methods to identify functional relationships and determine the ideal spatial arrangement. Data were collected through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with the store owner to understand the interaction between service areas, product displays, and storage sections. The ERC analysis shows that the service area, perfume display, and bottle display have the highest functional interdependence, while the storage area has the lowest necessity for proximity. TCR results confirm these findings, with the service area and perfume display each scoring 90, bottle display 21, and storage 3. Based on these results, two alternative layouts are proposed that integrate high-priority areas into a unified service zone and position storage separately to minimize unnecessary movement. The redesigned layout is expected to enhance service speed, optimize space utilization, support operational procedures, and strengthen the store’s servicescape. This research contributes practical insights into the application of ERC and TCR methods for small-scale retail operations, particularly in the perfume refill sector, where service efficiency and spatial constraints are critical.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the Indonesian economy, yet they are vulnerable to various conflicts that can hinder their continuity. Dispute resolution through legal channels (litigation) is often considered inefficient for MSMEs due to the lengthy process, high costs, and inflexibility. Therefore, alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration are considered preferable to litigation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of mediation and arbitration in resolving business conflicts among MSMEs in Indonesia, identify inhibiting factors in resolving business conflicts, and provide recommendations for strengthening the accessibility of these mechanisms for MSMEs. The research method used is empirical juridical, combining normative analysis of regulations governing mediation and arbitration with data collection using document studies related to MSMEs. The results indicate that mediation is generally more effective for MSMEs because it is less expensive, simpler, and can maintain business relationships between the parties. However, the success of mediation is also determined by the quality of the mediator and the willingness of both parties. On the other hand, arbitration provides legal certainty and a relatively quicker resolution process compared to litigation. However, the barriers are the relatively high cost and low legal understanding among MSMEs. A comparison of the two shows that the effectiveness of ADR depends heavily on the availability of information, support from service providers, and the MSME's ability to adapt to legal procedures.

This study examines the factors influencing Indonesia’s motor vehicle exports to nine developing countries using the gravity model approach with long-term and short-term panel data. The variables analyzed include the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of partner countries, exchange rates, economic distance, and trade cooperation agreements. The data are analyzed using the Error Correction Model (ECM) to capture short-term dynamics and long-term relationships. The long-term results show that partner countries’ GDP has a significant positive effect on Indonesia’s vehicle exports, indicating that economic growth in partner countries increases demand for Indonesian automotive products. Conversely, exchange rates and economic distance have significant negative effects, suggesting that depreciation of partner currencies and economic disparities reduce export volumes. Trade cooperation agreements do not have a significant impact in the long term. In the short term, changes in GDP continue to have a significant positive effect, while exchange rates maintain a significant negative impact on exports. Economic distance and trade agreements are not significant in the short term. The significant and negative error correction term (ECT) confirms the existence of an adjustment mechanism toward long-term equilibrium. This study highlights the importance of partner countries’ economic growth and exchange rate stability in supporting Indonesia’s vehicle exports to developing countries, as well as the need to address structural barriers to improve long-term competitiveness.

Children's socio-emotional development is an important aspect that plays a role in their ability to recognize, understand, express, and regulate emotions, as well as interact adaptively in social environments. The family serves as the first environment that provides the foundation for this development through parenting patterns, emotional relationships, daily interactions, and parental behavior models. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by analyzing scientific articles published between 2020–2025 from the Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases. The results of the review indicate that parental responsiveness, observational learning, secure attachment, and emotional communication significantly influence children's emotion regulation and social skills. In addition, parenting styles, particularly the authoritative style, have been shown to have a positive impact on psychological well-being, self-control, and social competence, while authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful styles are associated with behavioral problems and low self-esteem. Overall, the quality of the family environment and patterns of emotional communication play a significant role in shaping children's socio-emotional development. These findings underscore the need for support and reinforcement of parenting practices in efforts to enhance children's emotional and social well-being.

Motorcycle communities not only function as a platform for hobbies but also as a medium for shaping identity and image within society. In this context, the role of Public Relations is crucial in maintaining reputation and building positive relationships with the public. A strong brand image helps the community sustain its existence while countering the negative stigma often associated with motorcycle groups. This study aims to explore and analyze the Public Relations planning of Biker Jowo Depok in maintaining its brand image, using the RPACE model (Research, Planning, Action and Communication, Evaluation) by Cutlip & Center (2017). The theoretical framework of this research refers to the concept of Public Relations planning by Cutlip & Center. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, secondary data from the website and Instagram, as well as documentation. Data validity was tested through source triangulation involving the public and community members. The results show that Biker Jowo Depok implements all four dimensions of Public Relations planning according to the RPACE model. The community utilizes social media and various offline activities to build a positive image based on Javanese cultural values, such as togetherness (guyub), social awareness (tanggap), and cultural preservation (nguri-uri). Evaluation is carried out periodically through social media engagement analysis and feedback from members. The main challenges faced include negative stereotypes toward motorcycle communities and competition with other groups. However, through adaptive and collaborative Public Relations strategies, Biker Jowo Depok has succeeded in maintaining its image as a professional, culturally-rooted, and socially conscious community.

This research explores the use of person deixis in the Balinese language, with a particular focus on the honorific system as a form of social interaction. Person deixis not only reflects the relationship between the speaker and the interlocutor but also serves as a key mechanism for expressing social status, age, and emotional closeness. This research addresses the question: Does the choice of deictic forms involve specific cognitive processes, such as the assessment of social status, politeness, and situational context?  Beside that, this research also discuss what factors most influence the choice of personal pronouns used in dialogue? Employing a descriptive-qualitative approach and analyzing data from Balinese narrative texts, this article examines how the selection of deictic expressions engages complex cognitive mechanisms. The findings reveal that the use of honorifics is not merely a linguistic practice but also influences speakers’ patterns of thought in interpreting and evaluating social relationships. These results support the notion that language and thought are closely interconnected, and that the structure of the Balinese language cultivates a high degree of social sensitivity in its speakers from an early age.

This study aims to model the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in East Nusa Tenggara Province using truncated spline nonparametric regression. In this study, IMR is associated with four predictor variables: the percentage of poor people, the percentage of pregnant women under 19 years of age, low birth weight, and life expectancy. These four variables have an unpatterned relationship, indicating the presence of a nonparametric component in the model. The truncated spline regression method was chosen because of its ability to handle nonlinear relationships between variables. The results showed that the best model was obtained using three knot points, which produced a coefficient of determination (R²) of 97.47%. This indicates that the truncated spline regression model is able to explain 97.47% of the variation in IMR in East Nusa Tenggara Province. In addition, the four predictor variables have a significant influence on the model, making a significant contribution in explaining the factors that influence IMR in the region.
