Sleep is a fundamental human need that plays a crucial role in maintaining both physical and mental health. Poor sleep quality can trigger a variety of health problems, ranging from decreased concentration to an increased risk of chronic diseases. The complexity of factors influencing sleep quality—such as stress levels, heart rate, blood pressure, physical activity, and lifestyle—makes its assessment difficult through direct observation alone. Therefore, data mining approaches are increasingly utilized to identify relevant patterns in sleep-related data. This study aims to compare the performance of the C4.5 (Decision Tree) algorithm and the Naïve Bayes algorithm in predicting sleep quality using the Sleep Health and Lifestyle dataset, which contains information from 374 respondents. The research method applied is a quantitative comparative approach employing classification techniques with 10-fold cross-validation to ensure robust evaluation. Model performance is assessed using accuracy, precision, and recall metrics to provide a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of each algorithm. The findings indicate that the C4.5 algorithm achieves an accuracy of 96.26% and offers advantages in terms of interpretability through its decision tree visualization, enabling easier understanding of variable relationships. In contrast, the Naïve Bayes algorithm demonstrates superior predictive performance, achieving an accuracy of 98.66% along with consistently high precision and recall across nearly all classes. These results suggest that Naïve Bayes is more effective for predictive tasks involving sleep quality, while C4.5 remains highly valuable when the goal is to interpret variable interactions and decision rules. Overall, this research highlights the potential of data mining techniques in health informatics, particularly in improving the understanding and prediction of sleep quality, which in turn can contribute to better prevention and management of sleep-related health issues.

Shadow puppet craft training is a strategic intervention in preserving cultural heritage and strengthening the creative economy sector in Indonesia. To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of training, a planning approach is needed that is not only conventional, but also based on quantitative analysis and intelligent systems. This community service proposes a training planning strategy using an interdisciplinary approach involving Operation Research, Design of Experiment (DoE), Simulation, Metaheuristic Algorithms, and Data Mining. This study begins with the identification of key training variables, such as duration, number of participants, initial competency level, teaching materials, and instructor resources. Through the DoE approach, various combinations of variables are systematically tested to identify the optimal training design. Next, Simulation is used to model the dynamics of training implementation and evaluate implementation scenarios. To predict training needs and participant behavior, Data Mining techniques are applied to historical data of arts community training. In the final stage, Metaheuristic algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm and Simulated Annealing are used to solve complex and large-scale scheduling and resource allocation problems. The results of the integration of these approaches show an increase in training efficiency of up to 27% as well as increased participant satisfaction and the quality of work results. This activity demonstrates that applying a quantitative, data-driven approach to traditional crafts training planning can provide significant added value. This model can be replicated in other training programs based on local wisdom and other creative industry sectors.

Hypertension is a condition characterized by an increase in blood pressure, defined as systolic values ≥ 140 mmHg or diastolic values ≥ 90 mmHg, and it remains one of the most common health problems experienced by the elderly. Non-pharmacological approaches such as low-impact aerobic exercise are recommended, as this type of exercise is performed at a low to moderate intensity for 20–50 minutes, three times a week. It has been shown to strengthen and maintain the functions of the heart, lungs, blood circulation, muscles, and joints, thereby contributing positively to the management of high blood pressure. This study aims to determine the effect of low-impact aerobic exercise on blood pressure among elderly patients with hypertension through the application of evidence-based practice. A quantitative case study approach was employed to gain a deeper understanding of changes in blood pressure following the intervention. Three elderly respondents diagnosed with hypertension were involved and instructed to perform low-impact aerobic exercise for three consecutive days. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure among all respondents, although the outcomes varied. The first respondent experienced changes from 140/80 mmHg to 130/70 mmHg and 130/90 mmHg, the second respondent from 150/90 mmHg to 160/80 mmHg and then 150/70 mmHg, and the third respondent from 150/80 mmHg to 110/70 mmHg and 130/70 mmHg. These findings indicate that low-impact aerobic exercise has a positive effect in reducing blood pressure, despite some variability between individuals. In conclusion, low-impact aerobic exercise is proven to help control blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This study highlights the importance of encouraging hypertensive individuals to adopt regular and independent low-impact aerobic exercise as a simple strategy to maintain stable blood pressure and improve overall quality of life.

Shortness of breath is one of the main problems experienced by patients with respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, and lung cancer. This condition can reduce oxygen saturation, which leads to limitations in physical activity, decreased quality of life, and an increased risk of hypoxemia that may become fatal if not immediately addressed. The management of dyspnea is not only carried out through pharmacological therapy but also through non-pharmacological interventions that are simple, safe, and easy to apply by health care providers. One such intervention is the tripod position and pursed-lip breathing technique. The tripod position is a sitting posture in which the patient leans forward with both hands supporting the body on the knees or a table, thereby facilitating maximum chest expansion. Meanwhile, pursed-lip breathing is a breathing technique performed by inhaling through the nose and exhaling slowly through pursed lips, which prolongs the expiratory phase, reduces trapped air, and improves alveolar ventilation. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of applying these two techniques in increasing oxygen saturation among patients with dyspnea in the Emergency Department of RSUD Limpung. The research design was a case study involving four patients diagnosed with COPD, asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, and lung cancer. The intervention was carried out by assisting patients to sit in a tripod position and training them in pursed-lip breathing for approximately 10 minutes. Oxygen saturation was measured using a pulse oximeter before and after the intervention. The results showed an increase in oxygen saturation in all patients, from 92–97% to 95–99% after the intervention. In conclusion, tripod position and pursed-lip breathing proved to be effective non-pharmacological therapies that can be recommended in emergency nursing practice to reduce dyspnea and improve oxygenation.

This study aims to discuss the implementation issues of Gresik Regency Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2002 as an effort to overcome street prostitution. Gresik Regency, known as the City of Islamic Students, faces challenges related to prostitution practices. Although Gresik Regency only has the authority to regulate street prostitution, efforts were made by issuing Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 7 of 2002 concerning the Eradication of Prostitution and Indecent Acts in Gresik Regency. However, in its implementation, this Perda is considered ineffective in overcoming the growing number of street prostitution. Several problems emerged, including the implementation of the Perda and its level of success. The research method used is the sociological juridical method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the Gresik Regency Satpol PP implemented Perda Number 7 of 2002 by conducting raids. However, the raids still face obstacles such as information leaks, limited authority, and military interference in prostitution efforts. In addition to raids, the authorities also provide an introduction to the Perda to prostitutes and pimps as a preventive measure. The analysis of the factors driving the effectiveness of the law shows that this Regional Regulation has not been implemented optimally. Inhibiting factors include law enforcement, public legal awareness, and cultural factors. The author recommends that the Gresik Regency Government conduct socialization of Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2002 to the public to improve understanding and legal awareness. In addition, Satpol PP needs to conduct routine raids in collaboration with the police to follow up on the involvement of military personnel and take firm action against civil servants who leak the implementation of raids. Floods are the most frequent natural disasters and cause material and non-material losses. One of the problems faced is the lack of early warning when floods occur. This problem can be overcome with a flood early warning system. This paper discusses the solution to this problem, namely by designing and implementing a real-time flood early warning system using IoT-based Internet of Things (IoT) technology ESP32 MQTT and APK Kodular. The objective of this research, compared to previous studies, shows a gap in the methods used. While previous studies used an IoT-based flood warning system that sends data via SMS or an HTTP server, this study applies real-time monitoring with the MQTT protocol, which allows sending water level data with low latency to the Kodular application for faster and more responsive warnings. The method used is to connect hardware with IoT where ESP32 is a client that sends data to MQTT and will display it in the Kodular APK. This flood early warning system consists of: ultrasonic sensors, ESP32, MQTT cloud, OLED, buzzer, LED, and APK on the phone to receive notifications through a mobile application created using Kodular. This IoT-based system is installed in the Kudu Regency river and can monitor water levels in real-time. Based on a predetermined threshold, the system can activate the LED indicator or buzzer and send an early warning message to the user via the APK on the phone. Test results show that this system functions effectively in providing flood warnings with an accuracy of 1-2 cm and in a timely manner, making it suitable for community-based flood monitoring solutions

Coronary heart disease is one of the major health problems that not only affects the physical condition of patients but also impacts their psychological state, particularly anxiety. Anxiety levels in patients with coronary heart disease usually increase when they are about to undergo invasive medical procedures such as Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Anxiety can be influenced by several factors, including age, gender, educational level, and occupation. High levels of anxiety may worsen the patient’s clinical condition, making appropriate non-pharmacological interventions highly necessary to help reduce anxiety. This study aims to determine the effect of spiritual support in the form of dzikir on the anxiety levels of patients with coronary heart disease. The research design used was a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 30 respondents who were evenly divided into two groups: 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The instrument for measuring anxiety was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The results showed that providing spiritual support in the form of dzikir was effective in reducing patient anxiety, with a p-value of 0.001. In addition, there was a significant difference in post-therapy anxiety levels between the control and intervention groups, with a p-value of 0.019 (p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that dzikir, as a form of spiritual support, can be used as a non-pharmacological intervention to reduce anxiety in patients with coronary heart disease. Thus, spiritual support can be an important component of nursing care for patients in the ICU.
