The development of self-reliance among correctional inmates faces challenges in terms of surveillance effectiveness and order within correctional institutions. One of the main issues encountered is the lack of an optimal surveillance system, which can hinder the rehabilitation process and increase the risk of rule violations. To address this issue, a socialization program for the installation of additional CCTV cameras in the Self-Reliance Development Room at Banyuwangi Class IIA Correctional Facility was conducted. The program aimed to enhance surveillance effectiveness, create a safer rehabilitation environment, and encourage behavioral changes among inmates. The methods used in this community service project included needs analysis, coordination with correctional authorities, conducting socialization sessions for officers and inmates, and evaluating the impact of CCTV installation. The results indicate that the installation of CCTV contributes to improving inmate discipline, reducing rule violations, and strengthening transparency and accountability in the rehabilitation process. Additionally, this program fosters the emergence of local leaders among inmates who play a role in maintaining order. These findings align with social control and social learning theories, which emphasize that effective surveillance can shape individual behavior and promote compliance with established norms. In conclusion, the implementation of surveillance technology in the correctional system can serve as a strategic step in supporting inmate rehabilitation and social reintegration.

Adolescence is a crucial stage in individual development, where high school students often face emotional challenges that arise due to physical, psychological and social changes. Unfortunately, many teenagers do not have adequate emotional regulation skills, so they are vulnerable to experiencing difficulties in managing stress, resolving conflicts, or making wise decisions. This limited understanding of emotional regulation can have an impact on mental well-being, triggering impulsive behavior, low motivation to learn, and disruption in interpersonal relationships. Through outreach educational programs, high school students can be given practical knowledge and skills to strengthen emotional regulation abilities. This program is designed to help students recognize their emotions, develop more adaptive management strategies, and improve their ability to deal with everyday stress. With an interactive approach and in line with students' needs, this program is expected to be able to improve emotional well-being while helping students manage their emotions effectively.

This study is motivated by the increasing interest in understanding language maxims, which are unwritten rules in communication that regulate a person's language behavior in certain situations. These language maxims were proposed by the philosopher Grice as principles that guide successful communication. The aim of this study is to investigate the role of language maxims in everyday communicative interactions. This study aims to identify how the application of language maxims affects message understanding in different contexts and how violations of these maxims can affect the perception and interpretation of information. The method used in this study includes qualitative analysis of various communicative situations, both in informal and formal contexts. Research was conducted through case studies and observations of interactions between individuals in various communication scenarios. Based on the results of the discussion, it was found that consistent application of language maxims can strengthen understanding and clarity of the message conveyed. However, violation of this maxim can cause uncertainty in the meaning of the message and give rise to different interpretations between the parties involved in the communication. In addition, social, cultural and environmental contexts also play a role in how language maxims are applied and interpreted. This research highlights the importance of appropriateness in applying language maxims to achieve effective communicative goals and emphasizes the need to understand context in interpreting messages conveyed in everyday communication.

Adolescent identity is formed through complex interactions between various factors, in which school plays a crucial role. Schools not only serve as places of academic learning, but also as social arenas where adolescents develop interpersonal skills, values, and behavior.  Factors such as relationships with peers, support from teachers, participation in extracurricular activities, and curriculum implementation all contribute to the identity formation process. This article highlights how a positive and supportive school environment can help teenagers discover their identity, build self-confidence, and develop their potential optimally. By understanding this role, it is hoped that a holistic and inclusive educational ecosystem can be created, which supports the development of adolescents towards a healthy and constructive direction. Context has been identified as an important factor in adolescent identity formation. Education plays a very important role in shaping an individual's ethics, responsibility and intelligence. An effective educational process is expected to develop students' attitudes, knowledge and skills so that they can adapt optimally to their social environment. In this context, social interactions in the school environment, especially with peers, teachers and school staff, greatly influence the formation of adolescents' self-identity. This identity formation involves a dynamic interaction between internal and external factors, where the school environment plays a significant role in shaping teenagers' thought patterns, values, attitudes and behavior. Peers serve as social references that influence adolescents' self-confidence and self-esteem, while relationships with teachers provide emotional guidance and character formation. Apart from that, social media also influences the way teenagers present themselves in the digital world. The formation of a healthy self-identity in adolescents is very dependent on an inclusive, supportive environment, as well as cooperation between schools and parents. Therefore, it is important to understand the role of social interactions in the school environment as a factor that supports the development of a positive identity in adolescents and prepares them to face life challenges in the future.
