Student motivation is crucial to success in learning a foreign language. This study focuses on analyzing the motivation of students studying Indonesian as a foreign language in the Bipas in-country learning program at Udayana University in Bali. Specifically, the study is aimed at investigating the motivations of foreign students learning Indonesian in the program, and whether students' learning motivation shifts by the end of the course. The study involved 38 foreign students and five Indonesian lecturers during the Spring 2024 semester as respondents, and applied an explanatory sequential mixed methods design which consists of two phases, namely a quantitative phase and a qualitative phase to collect data. The results show that, despite strong support from the Balinese community for using the Indonesian language, students' motivation shifted from instrumental to integrative at the end of the course. Integrative motivation, which is prevalent, is defined as a desire to connect with the culture and community. Instrumental motivation ,on the other hand,  such as the expectation that learning Indonesian will open up career opportunities or improve social status, remains relatively low. To increase overall motivation, the learning programme should combine the two types of motivation, strengthening the sense of social connection and emphasising the practical value and tangible benefits of learning Indonesian.

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic procrastination in completing final assignments among Psychology students at Medan Area University. Academic procrastination is a procrastination behavior often carried out by students when facing important tasks, including their thesis, which can impact graduation delays and decrease learning motivation. Psychological factors, such as emotional intelligence, are thought to influence this procrastination tendency. Emotional intelligence encompasses an individual's ability to recognize, understand, manage, and express emotions healthily, as well as establish positive interpersonal relationships. Students with high emotional intelligence tend to be better able to cope with pressure, manage academic stress, and maintain focus on their academic goals. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method to examine the relationship between the two variables. The subjects in this study were 80 final-year students who were in the process of preparing their final assignments. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the criteria being active students who were writing their thesis. The instruments used consisted of an emotional intelligence scale and an academic procrastination scale compiled based on relevant theoretical indicators. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson correlation test. The analysis results show a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence and academic procrastination. This means that the higher a student's emotional intelligence, the lower their level of academic procrastination. This finding suggests that emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in supporting students in completing their final assignments on time. Therefore, developing emotional intelligence through psychological training or guidance could be a strategy to reduce procrastination among students.

This study aims to determine the level of body dissatisfaction among individuals experiencing food addiction. Food addiction is characterized by impulsive and uncontrolled eating behavior, particularly toward high-fat and high-sugar foods, accompanied by physical and psychological dependence. This condition increases the risk of weight gain and negatively impacts body image, especially among female college students who are vulnerable to social pressure and ideal beauty standards. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with incidental sampling techniques. Participants consisted of six female students from the Psychology and Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) programs at Universitas Negeri Padang, selected based on the food addiction criteria outlined in the DSM-5. The Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ-16A) was used to measure body dissatisfaction levels. Data were analyzed using percentage distribution to provide a general overview of body dissatisfaction among the research subjects. The results showed that 66.66% of participants experienced high to very high levels of body dissatisfaction. This indicates a positive relationship between food addiction and body dissatisfaction. Students with food addiction tend to have negative perceptions of their body shape, influenced by social pressures, media exposure, and prevailing beauty ideals in society. These findings highlight the need for appropriate psychological interventions and education about healthy eating habits and self-acceptance in university environments. Through a comprehensive approach, it is hoped that students can develop a more positive body image and avoid eating disorders that may harm their physical and mental health. Additionally, this study can serve as a basis for developing mental health promotion programs and eating disorder prevention efforts among university students.

Student interest in becoming a teacher remains a major challenge in preparing prospective professional teachers, especially amidst increasingly complex changes and demands in education. This study aims to analyze the influence of the School Field Introduction (PLP) experience and perceptions of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program on student interest in becoming a teacher. This study used a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method. The population in this study were all students of the Economics Education Study Program at Surabaya State University, intake 2020–2022, with a sample of 150 students selected purposively. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire instrument distributed online via Google Form. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the analysis indicate that partially, the PLP experience does not have a significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher. Conversely, student perceptions of the PPG program show a positive and significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher. Simultaneously, the PLP experience and PPG perceptions significantly influence student interest in becoming a teacher. These findings indicate that perceptions of PPG have a more dominant contribution in shaping interest in becoming a teacher than PLP experience. Therefore, it is crucial for educational institutions to improve the understanding and quality of PPG program implementation to encourage students' interest in pursuing a career as teachers. This research provides practical implications for curriculum designers and teacher education program managers to place greater emphasis on students' perceptions and readiness for PPG in order to produce professional and highly motivated teachers.

This research is motivated by the increasing cases of sexual harassment in the university environment which has a serious impact on the psychological condition of victims and the academic climate as a whole. Universities that are supposed to be safe spaces for learning and development are often places where serious violations of human dignity occur. The establishment of the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) is an important step by the government to provide protection, assistance, and a more structured complaint mechanism for victims of sexual violence. This study aims to examine the criminal acts of sexual harassment in universities as well as analyze the role and countermeasures carried out by the PPKS Task Force in handling these cases. The research methods used are normative juridical approaches and empirical juridical approaches. The normative approach is carried out by analyzing relevant laws and regulations, such as the Sexual Violence Crime Law and university regulations related to the prevention of sexual violence. Meanwhile, an empirical approach is carried out through observation and analysis of the implementation of the tasks of the PPKS Task Force in the campus environment. The results of the study show that the PPKS Task Force plays a significant role in providing psychosocial support for victims, conducting socialization related to the prevention of sexual violence, and enforcing anti-sexual violence policies in universities. In addition, the PPKS Task Force also implements various programs such as gender awareness training, legal assistance, and building a complaint system that is more accessible to students. The implications of this study confirm the importance of education and increasing awareness among the academic community regarding the issue of sexual harassment.
