The Emergency Severity Index (ESI) is a triage method that determines the escalation of treatment for patients based on the severity of their emergency condition. In order to improve the level of satisfaction of individuals receiving health services, it is necessary to provide quality services that are responsive to the expectations and needs of patients. This study aims to explore the relationship between the ESI (Emergency Severity Index) level and patient satisfaction in the Emergency Room of Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital. The research design applied is analytical with a cross-sectional method. From a total population of 500 patients in December, 51 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used included the ESI (Emergency Severity Index) Questionnaire and CSQ-8 (Client Satisfaction Questionnaire), with univariate and bivariate data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that in the high ESI index category, most participants (37 people or 92.5%) expressed satisfaction with the services received, while 3 people (7.5%) were dissatisfied. In the moderate ESI group, 9 respondents (90.0%) reported satisfaction, while only 1 respondent (10.0%) reported dissatisfaction. Conversely, in the mild ESI level, there were no patients who were satisfied (0%), and one patient (20.0%) was dissatisfied. Through analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test, a ρ value of 0.009 (≤ 0.05) was obtained, indicating a significant relationship between ESI levels and patient satisfaction. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between ESI classification and the level of satisfaction of service users in the Emergency Department. The researchers recommend that patients gain a better understanding of the ESI stages, and the Emergency Department is expected to provide education, such as putting up informative banners related to ESI (Emergency Severity Index) to increase patient understanding of the triage process in the Emergency Department.

Scouting extracurricular activities play a strategic role in shaping the character of elementary school students, particularly in instilling the values of discipline, solidarity, and cooperation, which are essential for children's personal and social development. This community service project aims to describe the process of mentoring the Marching Regulations (PBB) at SDIT Al-Qonita while identifying the impacts it has on strengthening students' character. The methods used in mentoring include lectures to convey basic concepts, demonstrations as examples of correct movements, repeated practice to train technical skills, joint reflection to evaluate experiences, and a comprehensive evaluation of the results of the activities. The mentoring process was carried out in three meetings over three weeks, with stages starting from an introduction to basic marching material, intensive group practice, and implementation of evaluations that emphasize technical and non-technical aspects. The results of the activity showed that students experienced an increase in technical skills in marching, such as movement accuracy and neatness of formation. Furthermore, this activity was proven to be able to strengthen discipline, solidarity, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work together among students. Furthermore, the inclusion of educational games and icebreakers during training sessions has proven effective in maintaining motivation, reducing boredom, and creating a pleasant learning environment. Pain is one of the main problems that cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy often experience, both as a direct result of the development of the disease and as a side effect of the therapy undergone. Pain that is not handled properly can decrease the quality of life, interfere with daily activities, and negatively impact the patient's psychological state. Therefore, non-pharmacological interventions are important as a companion effort to medical treatment. This study aims to analyze the effect of the combination of Benson relaxation technique and Quranic Healing therapy on the pain level of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang. The research uses a quasi experiment design with a nonequivalent control group design approach. The sample size was 36 respondents, divided into intervention groups and control groups, each consisting of 18 respondents. Pain levels were measured with the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) instrument before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test for differences within groups and the Mann–Whitney test for differences between groups. The results showed a significant decrease in pain levels in the intervention group (p = 0.000) compared to the control group (p = 0.046), with a significant difference between the two groups after the intervention (p = 0.001). In conclusion, the combination of Benson relaxation techniques and Quranic Healing has been shown to be effective in reducing pain in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. These interventions can be recommended as an alternative to non-pharmacological nursing measures to improve the comfort and quality of life of cancer patients.

Anxiety is an emotional response that is commonly experienced by patients before surgery, including in pre sectio caesarean patients. High levels of anxiety can affect the patient's physiological and psychological condition, so appropriate handling efforts are needed. Non-pharmacological interventions, such as prayer dhikr therapy, can be used as an alternative to help reduce anxiety because it provides relaxation, calmness, and increased spirituality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of dhikr sholawat therapy on anxiety levels in pre sectio caesarean patients. The research design used a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test control group approach. The research sample consisted of pre-sectio caesarea patients who met the inclusion criteria, then divided into two groups, namely the intervention group that was given prayer dhikr therapy and the control group that only received standard treatment. The instrument used to measure anxiety levels is the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Data analysis was carried out by statistical tests according to the distribution of data to find out the difference in results between the two groups. The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety levels in the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.05). These findings prove that prayer dhikr therapy is effective in reducing anxiety in pre-sectio caesarean patients. Thus, this therapy can be recommended as one of the non-pharmacological nursing interventions that support the improvement of service quality and patient comfort.

This study aims to describe the lifestyle and potential participation of financial institution pension funds (DPLK) among young workers in Jakarta. The study respondents included 42 young workers with various occupational backgrounds and income levels. The results showed that 46% of young workers have a low-cost lifestyle, so they stated that preparing for retirement funds early is important. Furthermore, 46% of respondents have the ability to save in DPLK with monthly contributions between Rp100,000–Rp300,000, 28% can contribute more than Rp300,000, while 26% can only set aside less than Rp100,000 per month. This level of awareness shows variations in financial readiness influenced by several factors. First, a still dominant consumptive lifestyle causes some young workers to delay retirement planning. Second, low financial literacy regarding pension funds makes them less aware of the benefits and urgency of DPLK participation. Third, the perception that retirement is still far away encourages delays, thus reducing commitment to active participation. To increase young worker participation, several strategies can be adopted, including relevant and contextual pension fund education, providing digital platforms that facilitate access, implementing incentive systems to attract interest, and positioning Pension Funds (DPLK) as part of a modern lifestyle. Furthermore, innovative ultra-micro DPLK products can reach workers with limited financial resources. If these strategic steps are implemented consistently, young worker participation in DPLK has the potential to increase significantly. Thus, pension funds in Indonesia can enter a "dawn" era marked by early awareness, rather than being seen as a "twilight era" relevant only near retirement age.

The elderly is among the most vulnerable groups in society due to progressive biological decline that weakens physical resistance, making them prone to chronic diseases such as hypertension. Hypertension is one of the most common multifactorial disorders in older adults, and its severity may be influenced by anxiety, which stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and increases blood pressure. This study aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety levels and hypertension among the elderly in the working area of Andalas Health Center, Padang City. An analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 81 elderly participants diagnosed with hypertension, selected through accidental sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAS) was employed as the research instrument, while data analysis used the Chi-square test. Results showed that the majority of respondents experienced mild anxiety (67 respondents, 82.7%) and uncontrolled hypertension (54 respondents, 66.6%). Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.534, indicating no significant association between anxiety levels and hypertension in the elderly population studied. These findings are consistent with several previous studies reporting that the relationship between anxiety and blood pressure in the elderly is often inconsistent, largely due to other risk factors including age, gender, low physical activity, comorbidities, and poor adherence to antihypertensive treatment. The implication of this study highlights the necessity of a holistic approach to hypertension management in the elderly, addressing not only psychological aspects but also lifestyle modification, treatment adherence education, and strengthening public health programs. Therefore, this research is expected to serve as input for health workers at community health centers to improve strategies for preventing and controlling hypertension in elderly populations.

Preoperative anxiety is one of the psychological problems that patients often experience and can affect physiological stability, response to anesthesia, and the postoperative recovery process. High levels of anxiety in patients leading up to surgery can have negative impacts, both physically and emotionally. One of the interventions that can be done to reduce anxiety is therapeutic communication by nurses. Therapeutic communication has an important role in creating a relationship of mutual trust, providing a sense of security, and helping patients understand the medical procedures to be undertaken. However, there are still conditions where therapeutic communication has not been implemented optimally. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and the level of anxiety of preoperative patients at RSI Pekajangan. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design and involved 72 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments included a therapeutic communication questionnaire and the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS). Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most respondents rated therapeutic communication in the categories of good (81.9%) and moderate anxiety (72.2%). Statistical tests showed a significant relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and preoperative patients' anxiety levels (p = 0.027) and moderate correlation strength (r = -0.260). The conclusion of this study confirms that therapeutic communication plays a role in lowering patients' anxiety, so it is recommended that nurses improve therapeutic communication skills as part of pre-surgical interventions.

This study aims to analyze the satisfaction level of Generation Z visitors at the Serang City Regional Library using Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT). This theory explains that satisfaction is formed when the actual service meets or exceeds user expectations. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey technique, involving 89 respondents aged 17–28 years, selected purposively. The data were collected using a questionnaire with a 1–4 Likert scale and analyzed univariately. The results show that the majority of Generation Z visitors are satisfied with the library services, with 85.4% expressing satisfaction, while 14.6% expressed dissatisfaction. The factors contributing the most to satisfaction were staff friendliness (58.4% reported being very satisfied), room comfort (59.6% reported being very satisfied), and the availability of basic facilities such as tables, chairs, and adequate lighting. However, dissatisfaction mainly stemmed from digital facilities. About 45% of respondents stated that the Wi-Fi connection was unstable, disrupting online information access. Additionally, 60% of respondents felt that the collection of the latest books was still limited, failing to meet the academic and current trends of Generation Z. These findings highlight the importance of improving digital services, enhancing internet network quality, and expanding the collection of up-to-date and popular books. Furthermore, staff competence in digital literacy needs to be enhanced to support the increasing digital needs of users. With these measures, the library is expected to not only maintain visitor satisfaction but also improve its relevance and loyalty in the digital era.

In the final phase of their studies, students often experience intense psychological pressure, especially when writing their final thesis. If this academic stress is not managed optimally, it can cause mental health problems, reduce internal motivation, and lead to despair in the context of education. Hardiness personality is one of the psychological characteristics that is believed to play a crucial role in dealing with such situations. Hardiness encompasses the dimensions of control, commitment, and the ability to see challenges as opportunities, thereby encouraging individuals to persevere in the face of external pressures. This study focuses on the relationship between hardiness personality and the level of stress experienced by final-year students of the Diploma Three Nursing Study Program at Abulyatama University while writing scientific papers. This study used a correlational quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving 63 students selected through proportional random sampling. The Dispositional Resilience Scale (DRS) was used to measure hardiness, while the Student-Life Stress Inventory (SSI) was used to assess stress levels. Data collection took place from April 26 to May 8, 2025. To obtain valid results, data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The research findings show a significant negative correlation between hardiness personality and stress levels in the process of writing scientific papers (p=0.004; p<0.05). Students who show high levels of hardiness tend to experience lower stress during the preparation of scientific papers, while those with low hardiness are more vulnerable to high academic pressure. Based on these results, it can be concluded that increasing hardiness in students is very important as a strategy for dealing with academic demands, especially in writing scientific papers. Thus, students are expected to be able to strengthen their self-control, commitment to the learning process, and positive perspective towards various challenges.

This study investigates the differences in customer satisfaction levels toward the services of Bank Syariah Indonesia by employing a nonparametric statistical approach. Customer satisfaction is a critical benchmark in Islamic banking, as it not only reflects the quality of services but also the extent to which sharia compliance is embedded in financial practices. Given that satisfaction data are generally ordinal and may not fulfill the assumptions of normal distribution, nonparametric methods such as the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were selected as the primary analytical tools. This research adopts a qualitative library-based method by reviewing relevant literature, scientific articles, and previous empirical studies to construct a comprehensive understanding of customer satisfaction measurement within Islamic banking. The findings highlight that variations in satisfaction are influenced by multiple factors, including service speed, staff friendliness, accessibility of digital platforms, and clarity of sharia principles applied in daily operations. Results further suggest that demographic characteristics and service usage frequency significantly shape satisfaction differences across customer groups. Theoretically, this study enriches the body of knowledge on the application of nonparametric statistics in Islamic banking research, while practically, it provides actionable insights for Bank Syariah Indonesia in formulating adaptive service strategies. These contributions are expected to assist the bank in strengthening customer loyalty, enhancing competitiveness, and sustaining growth in the dynamic modern banking industry.
