Adolescence is a crucial phase in shaping behavior and knowledge, including regarding nutritious food selection. The increased use of social media among adolescents provides opportunities for delivering nutrition education, but also carries risks associated with exposure to misleading information, including inaccurate nutrition claims. This study aims to analyze the relationship between exposure to nutrition education on social media and adolescents' awareness of food products with nutrition claims. The method used in this study was quantitative with an associative study design. The study sample consisted of 302 respondents, students from the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University, class of 2022. Data collection was conducted online through a Google Form questionnaire, which included respondent characteristics and measured perceptions in shaping behavior related to exposure to nutrition education on social media and awareness of nutrition claims on food products. Data analysis was performed using Kendall's tau-b test to measure the relationship between variables. The results showed that TikTok was the most widely used social media platform by respondents, and there was a significant relationship between exposure to nutrition education on social media and adolescents' awareness of food products with nutrition claims (p < 0.01). Respondents who were more frequently exposed to educational content tended to have a better understanding and were able to respond more critically to nutrition claims. These findings emphasize the importance of utilizing social media as an effective nutrition intervention tool, particularly for adolescents who are active social media users, to increase their awareness of the importance of choosing nutritious foods. These results indicate the importance of optimizing social media as an effective nutrition intervention tool, especially for adolescents as a group of active social media users.

Anemia is a common health problem among adolescent girls, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This condition is generally caused by insufficient iron intake, an unbalanced diet, and increased iron requirements during growth. Anemia not only impacts physical health but also affects concentration, productivity, and quality of life. Therefore, interventions based on nutrition education and the utilization of local food sources are crucial in sustainable anemia prevention efforts. One potential complementary therapy alternative is the consumption of herbal drinks based on moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera). Moringa leaves are known to be rich in iron, vitamin A, and antioxidants that play a role in red blood cell formation. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of adolescent girls in utilizing moringa leaves as a natural source of iron. The target group is grade 10 and 11 female students at SMA Sejahtera Palembang, which was held in June 2025. The activity methods included a nutrition lecture on anemia and the importance of iron, an interactive discussion on the benefits of moringa leaves, and hands-on practice in making herbal moringa drinks (such as moringa leaf tea and moringa juice). The material was delivered using a communicative and participatory approach to actively engage participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the causes of anemia, the benefits of moringa leaves, and their willingness to consume herbal drinks as a preventative measure. Most participants also expressed interest in trying to make their own moringa herbal drink at home. This activity is expected to become part of school-based promotional and preventive efforts to address anemia in adolescent girls.

According to Pathological Based Registration data in Indonesia, breast cancer ranks first with a relative frequency of 18.6%. In Central Java Province, the number of cancer cases has increased significantly over time. In 2010, there were 13,277 cases of cancer, and in 2015 this number increased to 18,954 cases. Of these, 6,899 cases were cervical cancer (35.13%), while 9,542 cases were breast cancer. One of the early detection methods of breast cancer that is easy to do independently is a breast self-examination or known as Sadari. The application of this Sadari method can help women to be more sensitive to changes in their breasts so that the risk of delays in cancer treatment can be minimized. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the demonstration method compared to video media in increasing adolescents' motivation to practice the Sadari method. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling, with research instruments in the form of questionnaires consisting of items that are favorable and unfavorable. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate methods to determine the difference in motivation between the experimental groups. The results showed that in the group of the Sadari motivation experiment with video treatment, the significance value obtained was p = 0.000. The same was also shown in the group with the demonstration treatment, with a significance value of p = 0.000. Furthermore, the results of the Mann-Whitney test showed a significant value of 0.002. Since p < 0.05 (p = 0.002), it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in Sadari motivation between the video group and the demonstration. The average motivation score of the demonstration group (36.00) was higher than that of the video group (25.00), so the demonstration method was stated to be more effective in increasing Sadari's motivation.

Promiscuity is a common issue among adolescents, as a transitional phase that is highly susceptible to environmental influences, directly impacting physical, mental, and social health. Lack of understanding of the impacts of promiscuity can increase health risks for adolescents, including increased risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), unplanned pregnancy, organ damage due to addictive substances (narcotics), mental health disorders, and decreased social and academic functioning. This health promotion activity was conducted at Free Methodist 1 Junior High School in Medan as a form of early education and prevention. The goal was to increase students' knowledge and awareness of the dangers of promiscuity and encourage healthier and more responsible behavior. The method used was preventive education through lectures, discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions. The results of this activity showed an increase in student understanding of the material, for example, understanding of promiscuity increased from 70% to 85% and understanding of drug abuse from 62% to 67.5%, as well as the importance of developing a healthy lifestyle, avoiding harmful substances, and maintaining overall physical, mental, and social health

This study aims to systematically review the literature that discusses the influence of social media on adolescent communication patterns, especially in the context of organizational learning. Social media as part of the digital transformation has changed the way adolescents interact, not only in social aspects but also in informal learning processes. Through a Systematic Literature Review approach, this study maps key concepts, identifies research gaps, and explores future research directions. The results of the study indicate that social media plays an important role in shaping interpersonal communication, digital ethics, and adolescent self-identity. However, most previous studies are still geographically limited, descriptive, and have not linked social media use to organizational learning comprehensively. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an integrative theoretical model and longitudinal studies that consider the cultural, psychological, and social contexts of adolescents in the digital era.

The community service program titled Great Youth, Strong Mentality at Untung Suropati Catholic High School aimed to enhance students understanding and skills in managing stress and anxiety, which are increasingly prevalent among adolescents due to academic pressures, social dynamics, environmental changes, and excessive exposure to social media. These issues are exacerbated by a lack of knowledge about effective stress management strategies, such as relaxation techniques and emotional communication, as well as the stigma surrounding mental health that discourages adolescents from seeking help. The counseling was conducted using an interactive approach, comprising a 30-minute informative lecture to explain the concepts of stress and anxiety, small group discussions (5–7 students) to encourage reflection and sharing of experiences, and practical exercises on relaxation techniques, such as diaphragmatic breathing and mindfulness, to provide hands-on experience. Supporting materials, including visual presentations and interactive quizzes, were utilized to enhance student engagement. Post-event evaluation revealed significant improvements in the understanding of stress and anxiety among students in grades X, XI, and XII. Students demonstrated enthusiasm through active participation in discussions and practical sessions, as well as positive feedback on the supportive and stigma-free environment. The program successfully equipped students with practical skills for stress management and fostered a healthier learning environment. For sustainability, it is recommended to conduct similar programs regularly, integrate mental health education into the school curriculum or extracurricular activities, provide concise modules for students’ independent use, and collaborate with school counselors to monitor technique implementation and offer ongoing support to ensure long-term impact on students mental well-being.
