Reported that hypertension contributes to around 9.4 million deaths worldwide each year. This makes it one of the main risk factors for cardiovascular disease and related deaths. The prevalence of hypertension in individuals aged 18-39 years shows a figure of around 7.5%. At the global level, stroke, heart disease, and hypertension rank first, second, and twenty-ninth in causes of death. In Indonesia, the percentage of deaths from 50 diseases that cause death shows that stroke contributes 23.48%, heart disease 9.89%, and hypertension 3.02%. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach that aims to describe the blood pressure profile in students. The population in this study were active students aged 18-23 years. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method. The results showed that the average blood pressure in men tended to be higher than in women. Blood pressure in male students was an average of 128.9 / 83.25 mmHg and women 118.25 / 76 mmHg. The average blood pressure in men is included in the pre-hypertension category. Various factors cause hypertension at a young age, mainly caused by lifestyle, diet, smoking behavior and lack of physical activity. High blood pressure in young adults is strongly associated with an increased risk of heart and kidney disease later in life. Therefore, various forms of prevention are needed, especially related to behavioral changes so that complications do not occur in the future.

Toddlers are a vulnerable group prone to health problems and malnutrition due to their rapid growth and high nutritional needs. Nutritional status serves as an indicator of adequate dietary intake, commonly assessed through weight and height measurements. Malnutrition, particularly among children aged 2-5 years, often occurs as they transition to family diets while maintaining high physical activity levels. Appropriate complementary feeding starting at six months (MP-ASI) is essential to support optimal growth and development. The Complementary Feeding Program includes porridge for infants aged 6-11 months and biscuits for children aged 12-24 months, aiming to improve nutritional status, especially among low-income families. Supplementary feeding (PMT) is an intervention designed to enhance the nutritional status of malnourished children without replacing their main daily meals. This study aims to examine the effect of the supplementary feeding program on weight changes among malnourished infants aged 6-11 months at the Tiley Health Center. A pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was used with total sampling of 20 mothers with malnourished infants. Data were collected using questionnaires and weight observation sheets and analyzed using a paired t-test. The results showed a significant effect (p < 0.05), indicating that the supplementary feeding program improves infants’ weight.

The abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and Addictive Substances among the younger generation is a serious issue that threatens the future of the nation. This abuse has significant negative impacts on the mental and physical development of the younger generation. Therefore, prevention efforts through education, routine counseling, and positive activities in the community are crucial. The rampant abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and other Addictive Substances among students and college students has become a new problem in the education sector. According to a survey conducted by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in 2019, 2.3 million students or college students in Indonesia have consumed narcotics. The lack of knowledge and information among students about the effects of drug abuse is a major factor in the spread of this issue. The approach to implementing community service is carried out in several stages, including initial surveys, problem identification, needs analysis, target audience determination, and program implementation. Based on the community service activities carried out, the benefits are greatly felt. This is evident from the enthusiasm of the participants in engaging in the community service activities. The author would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Principal of SMAN 1 Kutacane, Southeast Aceh Regency, who has provided time and space and fully supported this community service activity so that it could be carried out successfully.

Red snapper (Lutjanus sp) in Brondong waters, Lamongan Regency, is one of the main sources of livelihood for local fishermen. To increase the catch, optimizing the use of fishing gear, including setting time, is important. This study aims to determine the effect of differences in setting time on hand line fishing gear on red snapper catches. The study was conducted using the experimental fishing method, by dividing the setting time of hand line fishing gear into 2 treatments, namely morning 08.00-11.00 and afternoon 15.00-18.00. Based on the T test on paired samples, the average catch at 08.00-11.00 WIB was 2,131 with a total of 34.1 kg, while at 15.00-18.00 WIB, the average catch reached 6.4 with a total of 102.4 kg. The T-test results show that the t-count is greater than the t-table, so the null hypothesis is rejected and it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the red snapper catches in the two time periods. Red snapper tends to be more active in foraging in the afternoon to evening, in line with its nocturnal nature. Several studies have stated that predatory fish such as red snapper hunt more when the light begins to dim. However, other factors such as food availability and physical conditions of the waters can also affect fish feeding activity. These findings provide additional insight into the feeding behavior of red snapper and the factors that influence its presence in the waters.

This qualitative study explores the role of pickleball in promoting healthy aging among elderly players in Indonesia. As the global elderly population continues to rise, the need for effective strategies to enhance physical, mental, and social well-being in older adults becomes more pressing. Pickleball, a low-impact sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has gained significant popularity worldwide due to its accessibility, moderate intensity, and low risk of injury. This study employed a phenomenological approach, conducting semi-structured interviews, participant observations, and focus group discussions with 19 elderly pickleball players aged 50 and above in Surabaya, Indonesia. The findings suggest that regular participation in pickleball leads to significant improvements in physical health, including enhanced strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. The sport also has positive effects on mental well-being, helping to reduce stress, improve cognitive function, and provide a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Socially, pickleball fosters community engagement, reduces feelings of isolation, and strengthens intergenerational relationships, allowing older adults to connect with younger generations. However, barriers such as physical limitations, limited access to facilities, and unfavorable weather conditions hinder consistent participation. In conclusion, pickleball is a valuable and effective activity for promoting healthy aging by providing a holistic approach to improving the quality of life in older adults. Policymakers, healthcare providers, and community leaders are encouraged to invest in pickleball infrastructure, promote awareness, and support active aging initiatives to further enhance the well-being of elderly populations. This article aims to explain the conditions of Gen Z in the blanket of rapid development of digitalization technology. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature study and a descriptive analytical approach. The results of the study indicate that the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon on social media reflects symptoms of deep anxiety experienced by modern society, especially Generation Z, due to the fear of being left behind by information or trends that are considered important. In a digital world full of endless information, individuals are encouraged to stay connected and consume content that is often irrelevant, creating the illusion of engagement and validation. This phenomenon creates a great irony, where social media, which should be a tool for communication and information, has instead become a space filled with social pressure, value gaps, and artificial scenarios. The impact of FOMO can be seen in psychological aspects, such as anxiety, depression, and low self-confidence; social, in the form of a decrease in the quality of direct relationships between individuals; and physical, such as lack of sleep and reduced physical activity. However, social media also offers positive opportunities, such as increased creativity, network expansion, and the opening of new opportunities, if used wisely. To overcome the negative impacts of FOMO, efforts are needed to limit the time spent using social media, change the mindset to be more reflective and productive, and engage in meaningful activities.

Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability worldwide. Stroke survivors often experience severe disabilities, particularly in their ability to walk and perform daily physical activities independently. Many are unable to ambulate without assistance, even after reaching a certain level of independence. These persistent impairments contribute to a decreased quality of life and increase the risk of long-term complications. This study aims to determine the self-perceived difficulty in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) among ischemic stroke patients. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design and involved 25 ischemic stroke patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected at Banda General Hospital using the Barthel Index (BI) assessment tool to evaluate the patients' level of independence in carrying out daily activities, both before and after receiving physiotherapy. The results showed that, prior to physiotherapy, 10 respondents (40%) were in the category of severe dependency, requiring significant assistance to perform ADL. Following physiotherapy intervention, there was a decrease in the number of patients in the severe dependency category, indicating an improvement in functional independence. These findings suggest that physiotherapy plays an important role in supporting recovery and enhancing the ability of ischemic stroke patients to carry out daily activities. Patients’ self-perceived difficulties are also essential indicators in designing more personalized and effective rehabilitation programs.
